Abstract

The multidimensional crisis in Indonesia over the past decade requires evidence-based solutions, particularly in the field of humanities, including education and teaching. As the world undergoes rapid and significant changes, education undoubtedly plays a crucial role in every transformation that occurs. Teaching materials are reshaping the role of teachers in the learning process. Teachers are no longer the sole source of knowledge but rather serve as guides. Modern learning activities today focus on student-centered learning, which aims to provide opportunities for students to actively engage in their education. The core issue lies in the implementation of scientific work materials with ethnopedagogical content, which incorporate local wisdom values. However, these efforts have yet to achieve the desired outcomes and continue to face numerous challenges. To address these problems, the author employs a method involving the analysis of teaching materials, the design and development of instructional content, the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, and product evaluation at SMAN 1 Berau. The design model used in this study follows the ADDIE approach, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of the testing indicate that teaching materials developed using ethnopedagogical methods are highly effective and beneficial as supplementary learning resources

Abstract

Pembelajaran di Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung perkembangan bahasa dan literasi anak. Inovasi dalam metode pengajaran sangat diperlukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan perkembangan anak pada era yang semakin digital. Artikel ini menyajikan tinjauan literatur tentang inovasi pembelajaran yang dapat mendukung perkembangan bahasa dan literasi di PAUD. Berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran interaktif, penggunaan teknologi digital, dan pendekatan berbasis permainan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa dan literasi anak usia dini. Artikel ini juga membahas tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi inovasi tersebut serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk praktik yang lebih baik di masa depan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how much influence Succession Planning has on Organizational Sustainability through the role of Transformational Leadership, Learning Agility, and Resilience using the SEM-PLS method. This research uses quantitative methods to analyze the influence of Succession Planning on Organizational Sustainability through the roles of Transformational Leadership, Learning Agility, and Resilience. The research used the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. Primary research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 119 respondents from a total population of 170 employees. The questionnaire contains structured questions that include the variables studied and filled in by respondents online or offline. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive methods using an SEM PLS. The data obtained from the questionnaires were processed and explained statistically by testing the data using SmartPLS 4.0. Based on the results of descriptive analysis and testing through SmartPLS 4.0, it was found that organizational sustainability can be influenced by learning agility and resilience through the mediation of transformational leadership and succession planning. There is a significant relationship between learning agility and resilience variables mediated by transformational leadership and succession planning on organizational sustainability. However, the research results also show that transformational leadership does not have a statistically significant relationship with organizational sustainability, but there is a very significant relationship between transformational leadership and succession planning. The research results are used to establish recommendations to the management of PT XYZ in maintaining the sustainability of the organization and further research.

Abstract

This research examines the factors that influence poverty levels in Indonesia, both directly and indirectly, by analyzing the involvement of labor force participation levels. The study uses BPS data and the APBN Data Portal to evaluate wages, education, and government spending in the education and health sectors as influencing variables. Using time series data, this research form by path analysis aims to identify direct or indirect relationships between variables. The data is first analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis as part of the research methodology. This research using path analysis and the Sobel test, researchers found that education levels only up to junior secondary school have an impact on changes in labor force participation rates but do not have an impact on reducing poverty. In contrast, other variables, such as wages and government spending in the education and health sectors, do not indirectly affect poverty through the labor force participation rate.

Abstract

Research on Local Revenue, General Allocation Fund, and Special Allocation Fund on economic growth, poverty, unemployment, and Gini ratios have often been done. However, there is no research that uses these three funding sources as latent variables that have a simultaneous influence on quality economic growth variables as a latent variable consisting of economic growth, poverty, unemployment and the Gini ratio as constructs. Similarly, capital expenditure as a moderating variable will be seen as influencing the source of funds. East Java is a province with 38 districts/cities where the level of economic growth is quite high and even exceeds the level of national economic growth. But the level of poverty, unemployment, and inequality is also very high. This study aims to look at the effect of decentralized funding sources on Quality Economic Growth in East Java. The data used comes from the Directorate General of Financial Balance of the Ministry of Finance in 2012 - 2015 for realization’s fund, and from the Central Bureau of Statistics for economic growth, poverty, unemployment, and Gini ratios. This study uses Partial Least Squares (PLS) in analyzing data, where quality economic growth becomes endogenous latent variables that are influenced by funding sources as exogenous latent variables and capital expenditure as a moderating variable. The results of the analysis show that the source of funds does not significantly affect quality economic growth even though the direction is positive. Likewise, capital expenditure cannot strengthen the influence of funding sources on quality economic growth. From this research, it is expected that the regional government can reanalyze the allocation of funds and the realization of regional expenditures which are prioritized for public service spending so that the triple track strategy can be implemented properly and achieve quality economic growth.

Abstract

Kemampuan berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa Inggris merupakan kemampuan yang mendukung semua kalangan dalam segala aspek kegiatan di era sekarang ini. Kemampuan ini diperlukan juga oleh siswa – siswi SMK yang nanti diproyeksikan untuk langsung terjun ke dunia kerja. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diadakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa – siswi SMK dalam berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa Inggris. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SMK N 1 Dukuhturi, Kabupaten Tegal dihadiri oleh kurang lebih 100 peserta. Pengabdi dan tim memberikan materi dengan menerapkan mix method yaitu penggabungan metode presentasi dengan metode praktik. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM yang dilaksanakan selama 2 hari adalah peserta mulai bisa berkomunikasi menggunakan greeting dan parting berbahasa Inggris. Pengabdi menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran komunikasi itu adalah pembelajaran praktik dimana bahasa itu haruslah diucapkan.

Abstract

One important activity for tourism promotion is organizing various MICE (Meeting Incentive Conference Exhibition) events on both local and international scales. MICE is a business primarily supported by SMEs, both as organizers and suppliers/vendors. However, MICE business owners often don't understand how to keep their businesses sustainable, and suppliers often just hope their businesses continue without understanding how. This research aims to identify factors that can support the business continuity of MICE industry players. The study was conducted using the grounded theory model, starting with in-depth interviews with event organizers and suppliers in Yogyakarta to identify factors that would be used to develop a theory, with the assistance of coding in NVIVO software. These factors, which were transformed into a theory, were then directly tested on business actors (80 respondents) using multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of the regression test, it was found that the 8 keywords generated from NVIVO data processing do indeed have a significant influence on supporting the sustainability of the MICE business, both partially and simultaneously. The eight keywords are Commitment & Contract, Innovation & Novelty of Event; Mutual Partnership; Payment; Portfolio & Experience; Product Quality; Profit; Zero Complaint.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of product quality, social media marketing, and price perception on consumers' intention to purchase electric vehicles, with brand awareness serving as a mediating factor. Conducted in Bogor City, the study employed a quantitative method involving 385 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using SEM-LISREL 8.80. The findings reveal that product quality has a significant impact on both brand awareness (t = 3.48) and purchase intention (t = 3.61). Social media marketing also significantly influences brand awareness (t = 2.02) and purchase intention (t = 4.24), while price perception affects brand awareness (t = 2.36) and purchase intention (t = 3.44). Furthermore, brand awareness mediates the relationship between these variables and purchase intention (t = 4.20). The findings indicate that social media marketing is the most dominant factor affecting purchase intention, highlighting the importance of developing intensive and interactive digital marketing strategies. Practically, companies should focus on enhancing brand awareness and building positive consumer perceptions through social media, supported by high-quality products and competitive pricing, to accelerate electric vehicle adoption in Bogor.

Abstract

Achieving genuinely equitable and sustainable national progress depends on understanding and effectively measuring inclusive economic development, a complex and often elusive goal. Despite Indonesia's sustained economic growth over the past decade, questions persist about the extent to which this progress has translated into inclusive outcomes across regions and dimensions of well-being. This study addresses the empirical gap in comprehensive measurement by developing and applying a rigorous quantitative framework to estimate the Inclusive Economic Development Index across 34 Indonesian provinces from 2011 to 2023. Using national data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and supplementary records from other government bodies, we construct province-level inclusive development scores that encompass multiple dimensions of inclusive economic development, including economy, social factors, political aspects, ICT, governance, and the environment. The findings reveal significant variation in inclusive development across provinces, with West Sumatra, West Java, and Bali leading in the 4-dimensional model; West Sumatra, Maluku, and Aceh in the 5-dimensional model; and Maluku, East Nusa Tenggara, and East Kalimantan in the 6-dimensional model. Despite these provincial disparities, overall inclusivity levels demonstrate relative consistency. Nationally, the index fluctuated during the period, peaking at 4.65 in 2011 and hitting a low of 3.75 in 2022, resulting in an average of 4.18. These results underscore that inclusive development remains a persistent systemic and structural challenge for Indonesia.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the influence of tourism sector to regional revenue of Malang Raya. In this case, tourism sector used the number of tourist arrival, hotel's room occupancy rate, the number of restaurants, and the sum of PDRB (Gross Regional Domestic Product) during the period of 2006-2016. The secondary panel data from three Local Governments in Malang Raya is analyzed by using fixed effect model of multiple regressions. The result shows that all independent variables simultaneously give significant influence to regional revenue. Partially, the number of tourist arrival and hotel's room occupancy rate give the significant influence to regional revenue. The other two variables, i.e. the number of restaurant and sum of PDRB did not give significant influence. A regression model of 97.76% is generated to predict regional revenue of Malang Raya. The conclusion gives an insight that local governments in Malang Raya should pay more attention to the effort of promoting Malang Raya to encourage tourist to come and stay longer, in order to increase the regional revenue and also to increase the share of the tourism sector to regional revenue.
