Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyse the local economic development strategy through the empowerment of Balung Kuwuk MSMEs in Drenges Village. Methodology/approach: This study employed a qualitative descriptive method utilising a case study approach. Data collection techniques included observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The analysis of data to determine the development strategy for Balung Kuwuk MSMEs was conducted using a SWOT analysis, combined with the Internal-External Matrix, to formulate context-specific empowerment strategies for rural MSMEs. Results/findings: The findings indicate that Balung Kuwuk MSMEs possess significant potential to drive the local economy in Drenges Village, supported by the abundant availability of cassava as the primary raw material. Nevertheless, community empowerment efforts to develop these MSMEs have not been effectively implemented, necessitating an aggressive strategy to strengthen and expand their capacity. Conclusion: Balung Kuwuk MSMEs can serve as a strategic driver of the local economy if supported by targeted, aggressive, and sustainable development strategies that fully empower MSME actors, strengthen institutional capacity, and optimise available local resources effectively Limitations: This case study has a narrow geographical scope, being limited to a single village, and therefore cannot be generalised to other rural or urban areas with different social, economic, cultural, and natural conditions and potentials. Contribution: This study provides input for government institutions and related agencies to support the development of Balung Kuwuk MSMEs in Drenges Village, aiming to improve human resource capacity and consistently enhance product quality.

Abstract

Education is one of the main factors in improving the quality of human resources. The improvement of student learning outcomes is not only influenced by individual abilities, but also by the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure as well as optimal teacher performance. MA Minhajut Tholabah as an Islamic boarding school-based educational institution in Purbalingga Regency faces challenges related to limited facilities and the need to improve teacher professionalism. This condition encourages the importance of research on models of improving student learning outcomes based on facilities and infrastructure as well as teacher performance. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation involving madrasah heads, teachers, and students as the main data sources. Data analysis is carried out by data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawn, accompanied by triangulation to ensure the validity of the data. The focus of the research is directed at the identification of the condition of facilities and infrastructure, management evaluation, and the role of teacher performance in improving student learning outcomes. The results of the study show that the facilities and infrastructure at MA Minhajut Tholabah are still mostly limited, especially laboratories and libraries. However, these limitations can be overcome with proper management and support from the school and committee. Teacher performance has been proven to have a significant effect on motivation and achievement of student learning outcomes, especially through varied learning strategies and character strengthening.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis 1) pengaruh  entrepreneur role model terhadap sikap  proaktif, self effikasi, pembelajaran dengan contoh dan pembelajaran dengan dukungan. 2) menganalisis peran mediasi variabel proaktif, self effikasi, pembelajaran dengan contoh dan pembelajaran dengan dukungan antara entrepreneur role model dengan pada siswa terhadap motivasi berwirausaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain eksploratoriy. Penelitian ini melibatkan  4 SMK Negeri Se-Kota Semarang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan proporsional random sampling. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini yakni 305. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode angket. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah SEM dan menggunakan alat analisis yakni WarPLS versi 8. Hasil penelitian yakni 1) entrepreneur role model berpengaruh terhadap sikap  proaktif, self effikasi, pembelajaran dengan contoh dan pembelajaran dengan dukungan. 2) variabel proaktif, self effikasi, pembelajaran dengan contoh dan pembelajaran dengan dukungan memediasi antara pengaruh entrepreneur role model terhadap motivasi wirausaha siswa.

Abstract

This study analyses the influence of principal leadership and organisational culture on teacher performance, with work discipline as an intervening variable, in high schools across the Berastagi District. A quantitative approach with an ex post facto design was employed, utilising path analysis to examine the structural relationships between variables. The research involved a sample of 122 teachers selected from a population of 175 through simple random sampling. Data were collected using Likert scale questionnaires that were rigorously tested for validity and reliability. The findings reveal that principal leadership has a significant positive effect on both work discipline and teacher performance. While organisational culture significantly affects work discipline, it had a non-significant negative direct effect on teacher performance. Crucially, the analysis demonstrates that work discipline significantly mediates the influence of principal leadership and organisational culture on teacher performance. This indicates that discipline serves as the primary "bridge" connecting leadership and organisational values to optimal professional outcomes. The study concludes that the combination of inspirational leadership and a robust organisational culture depends largely on reinforcing discipline to foster a professional educational setting.

Abstract

Pengelolaan absensi siswa merupakan aspek penting dalam mendukung kedisiplinan dan efektivitas proses pembelajaran di lingkungan sekolah. SMK YPT Pringsewu masih menghadapi permasalahan dalam pencatatan kehadiran siswa yang dilakukan secara manual, seperti risiko kesalahan pencatatan, keterlambatan rekapitulasi data, serta potensi manipulasi absensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem absensi siswa berbasis Android menggunakan teknologi QR Code sebagai solusi digital yang lebih akurat dan efisien. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan sistem Waterfall yang meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian. Sistem absensi dikembangkan dalam bentuk aplikasi Android yang terintegrasi dengan basis data terpusat dan diuji menggunakan metode Blackbox Testing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem absensi berbasis QR Code dapat berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan kebutuhan fungsional, mempercepat proses absensi, serta mempermudah pengelolaan dan rekapitulasi data kehadiran siswa secara otomatis. Dengan demikian, sistem yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan transparansi pengelolaan absensi siswa di SMK YPT Pringsewu.

Abstract

Elderly people are one group of people who need attention from their environment. Good fitness quality can be achieved by implementing physical activity for at least 150 minutes per week, consuming fruit and vegetables, checking your health regularly. This component is part of the Healthy Living Community Movement (germas). The importance of this Germas component is because data on physical activity in the underweight category has increased by 7% (aged 60-64), underconsumption of vegetables and fruit has increased by 9.6%, and routine check-ups are not yet optimal as can be seen from the morbidity rate. Community Service Method: socialization with material presentations, discussions, demonstrations and mentoring of 34 elderly people carried out on Thursday, 26 June 2025 at the Main Building of the Tempel Unit Village Community Empowerment Institution, Besalen Hamlet, Baturetno Village, Banguntapan District, Bantul Special Region of Yogyakarta. The activity design is divided into 3 stages (Preparation, Implementation and Evaluation). Results: Program implementation > 50% or 2/3 of the invitation list attended, and all participated actively by asking questions related to educational material. Conclusion: The great desire of the elderly to gain knowledge related to germs to improve fitness, so it is necessary to continue carrying out the same activities again with broader material

Abstract

Background - In the digital age and increasing access to scientific information, the ability to effectively manage references is becoming an important skill for students, researchers, and academics. The development of information technology has presented various reference management software that can help users in organizing literature, automating the citation process, and minimizing errors in writing scientific papers. However, there are still many academics who have not mastered the optimal use of the application due to the limitations of training, the complexity of application features, and the limited structured learning resources. Research Urgency - With the increasing demand for scientific publications and the need for quality academic writing, accessible and systematic learning media are needed to improve reference management competency. Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) offer an open, flexible, and accessible online learning environment for participants from a wide variety of backgrounds. Therefore, developing a MOOC on reference management is crucial to provide structured learning resources, enhance learning independence, and assist academics and researchers in managing citations and bibliographies more efficiently and accurately. Research Objectives - This study aims to develop a MOOC on Reference Management. Research Method - Utilizing the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), the research has reached the development phase. In the analysis phase, learning needs were identified through interviews with students, lecturers, and journal management practitioners. The interviews revealed that participants required a deeper understanding of reference management software, proper citation principles, and efficient reference management techniques. In the design phase, the focus was on formulating learning competencies, constructing a competency map, and designing materials and assignments that support the achievement of learning objectives. Research Findings - The validation results indicated a very high level of validity, with a percentage of 90% for content experts and 88% for media experts, placing this MOOC in the "highly valid" category and ready for use without revision. The user trial involved students, lecturers, and practitioners, who provided positive feedback regarding accuracy, time efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Research Conclusion - Based on these findings, the Reference Management MOOC is recommended for implementation with ongoing evaluation and feedback to ensure its relevance and effectiveness. Research Novelty/Contribution - The development of a MOOC specifically designed to improve reference management competency in scientific writing. This MOOC provides structured, flexible, and widely accessible learning, thus providing a more effective training alternative than conventional training.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of teacher training and workload on teacher performance moderated by work discipline within the Coordinator of PAUD Dikdas and LS of Wonosegoro District. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. Quantitative method is defined as research in the form of information or explanations expressed by numbers or numbers which are then analyzed using statistical calculations, from these statistical calculations can describe an object that can be presented in the form of tables or graphs. This study uses the SEM analysis method with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach with the help of Smartpls 3.0. Meanwhile, the population in this study is all educators (teachers) within the Coordinator of PAUD Dikdas and LS Wonosegoro District, which is 256 people. This study used a questionnaire. From the tests that have been carried out, the direct test results of teacher training and workload have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. In the moderation test, work discipline cannot moderate teacher training and workload on teacher performance.

Abstract

Penyandang disabilitas sensorik netra menghadapi tantangan kompleks dalam penguasaan soft skill yang berperan penting bagi kemandirian, partisipasi sosial, dan kesiapan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen soft skill serta mengidentifikasi kendala implementasinya di lembaga rehabilitasi. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan sepuluh penerima manfaat, empat staf pembimbing, dan dua pengelola lembaga. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan telaah dokumen program pelatihan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan soft skill mencakup perencanaan kurikulum pelatihan, pembimbingan terstruktur, dan evaluasi berbasis kompetensi sosial serta emosional. Namun, implementasinya terkendala oleh keterbatasan sumber daya manusia terlatih, minimnya sarana pembelajaran adaptif, dan rendahnya dukungan kebijakan berkelanjutan. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya strategi penguatan kapasitas manajerial, penyediaan media pembelajaran inklusif, dan sinergi lintas sektor untuk memastikan keberhasilan program pengembangan soft skill bagi penyandang disabilitas sensorik netra.
