Abstract

Determining appropriate credit limits is essential for financial institutions to manage credit risk effectively while optimizing revenue. This study aims to develop a predictive model for credit limits using linear regression, incorporating primary features such as Rating, Income, and Balance. The dataset consists of 400 credit card customer records with 11 variables, comprising both numerical and categorical data. The research follows the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) methodology, covering stages including business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment. Data analysis was conducted using Google Colab, involving quality assessment, categorical feature encoding through label encoding, and data normalization utilizing MinMaxScaler. Correlation analysis results indicated that Rating, Income, and Balance have strong correlations with Credit Limit, hence these three variables were chosen as primary predictors for the modeling process.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of mindfulness-based classical guidance on improving students’ learning motivation at SMA Negeri 7 Sinjai. The scope of the research focuses on grade XI students who exhibited low levels of learning motivation, by analyzing changes in motivation after receiving the intervention of mindfulness-based classical guidance services. The study employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of 60 students selected purposively, and then divided into two groups: 30 students as the experimental group who received mindfulness-based classical guidance services, and 30 students as the control group without treatment. The research instrument was a learning motivation questionnaire using a Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. The findings reveal a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. The distribution of learning motivation scores in the experimental group showed a substantial improvement, shifting from low and medium categories to high and very high categories. In contrast, the control group remained predominantly in the low and medium categories. An independent t-test indicated a significance value of 0.010 (< 0.05), confirming that mindfulness-based classical guidance interventions positively influence the enhancement of students’ learning motivation. In conclusion, the implementation of mindfulness-based classical guidance is proven effective in helping students improve focus, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and the ability to manage academic stress. Therefore, this approach can serve as an alternative strategy for guidance and counseling services to foster students’ learning motivation while providing practical contributions to the development of counseling practices in secondary schools.

Abstract

This study discusses the design and development of the Jatim Parkir Center Website with dynamic content management using the Laravel framework and Filament admin panel. The main objective is to provide an efficient solution for website content management, which was previously handled manually and ineffectively. The development method employed is the Waterfall model, combined with prototyping to ensure usability. The implementation results show that the system provides a simple yet functional interface, including service list management (add, update, delete, and activate/deactivate), Light and Dark display modes, and a secure login page. Based on black box testing, all functions performed optimally, proving that the system supports faster, more accurate, and structured data management. Therefore, this research successfully delivers a flexible CMS solution that is easy to operate and relevant to the company’s digitalization needs.

Abstract

Kesiapan sekolah adalah aspek perkembangan anak yang berperan pada kemampuan anak untuk beradaptasi dalam sistematika pendidikan tingkat dasar. Berdasarkan Permendikbud, usia 7 tahun adalah usia yang tepat bagi anak masuk Sekolah Dasar, karena anak telah memiliki kesiapan fisik dan psikis untuk mengikuti proses pendidikan formal. Namun, setiap anak tidak memiliki kondisi yang sama pada usia tertentu. Sehingga, diperlukan Nijmeegse Schoolbekwaamheids Test (NST) untuk mengukur kesiapan sekolah. Instrumen NST hanya dapat digunakan oleh Biro Psikologi yang mempunyai kemampuan dalam melakukan asesmen psikologis. Sedangkan, guru serta orang tua yang memiliki peran dalam bentuk pemberian dukungan dan stimulasi pada anak tidak dapat menggunakan instrumen tersebut. Machine learning adalah teknik yang menggunakan algoritma untuk menemukan pola yang berguna dalam data. Berdasarkan data NST terdahulu, dapat dirancang model prediksi kesiapan sekolah yang akan memudahkan guru dan orang tua dalam mengetahui kesiapan anak untuk masuk Sekolah Dasar. Data penelitian adalah data administratif 225 siswa yang telah mengikuti tes kesiapan sekolah berbasis NST yang diselenggarakan oleh TK Ar-Rasyid pada tahun 2012-2018. Data administratif NST terdiri dari umur, jenis kelamin, urutan anak, jumlah saudara, status TK, pendidikan ayah, pendidikan ibu dan hasil kesiapan sekolah. Berdasarkan korelasi Chi-Square, variabel yang memiliki hubungan signifikan kuat terhadap hasil tes kesiapan sekolah adalah status TK, jumlah saudara dan umur anak dengan nilai p<.05. Penelitian menggunakan algoritma Artificial Neural Network dengan metode optimasi kombinasi Adam dan Nesterov Momentum. Pengujian menggunakan skenario 5-fold cross validation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi Adam dan Nesterov Momentum memiliki kinerja lebih baik daripada classical Adam dalam memprediksi kesiapan sekolah dengan akurasi 96% dan loss 0.06 dalam 1.98 seconds pada 10 neuron dan 1000 epochs. AbstractSchool readiness is an aspect of child development that plays a role in the child's ability to adapt in the systematics of elementary level education. Based on the Minister of Education and Culture, 7 years is the right age for children to enter elementary school, because children already have physical and psychological readiness to take part in the formal education process. However, every child does not have the same condition at a certain age. Thus, the Nijmeegse Schoolbekwaamheids Test (NST) is needed to measure school readiness. The NST instrument can only be used by the Psychology Bureau who has the ability to carry out psychological assessments. Meanwhile, teachers and parents who have a role in providing support and stimulation to children cannot use these instrument. Machine learning is a technique that uses algorithms to find useful patterns in data. Based on previous NST data, it can be designed as a school readiness prediction model that will facilitate teachers and parents in knowing the readiness of children to enter elementary school. Research data is administrative data of 225 students who have taken the NST-based school readiness test conducted by TK Ar-Rasyid in 2012-2018. NST administrative data consists of age, gender, child position, number of siblings, pre-elementary status, father education, mother education and school readiness results. Based on the Chi-Square correlation, variables that have a strong significant relationship to school readiness test results are pre-elementary status, number of siblings and age with p<.05. The research used Artificial Neural Network algorithms with a combination of Adam and Nesterov Momentum optimization method. Model testing used a 5-fold cross validation scenario. The results showed that the combination of Adam and Nesterov Momentum performed better than classical Adam in predicting school readiness with 96% accuracy and 0.06 loss in 1.98 seconds on 10 neurons and 1000 epochs.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the content of the Qur'anic verse regarding the urgency and types of Arabic language learning media, although it can cover a broad range of scientific disciplines. The research method uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The results show that the urgency of learning media is inspired by the content of the verse about the importance of the Koran (Al-Maidah: 16), it needs to be balanced with the noble behavior of the educator (Al-Ahzab: 31), paying attention to the psychological condition and readiness of students to receive the material (Al-Ahzab: 31). Nahl: 44) and delivered in a structured way (Al-Nahl: 125). The types of Arabic learning media are divided into two major groups, namely material hardware and immaterial hardware. The type of material hardware consists of audio media / al-wasîlah al-sam'iyyah, visual media / al-wasîlah al-bashariyyah and audiovisual media / al-wasîlah al-sam'iyyah-al-bashariyyah. Types of immaterial hardware consist of ideal examples, prohibitions and commands, and rewards and punishments.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of the “Platformer Genius Learn” edugame to improve students’ motivation and learning outcomes in the Fundamentals of Educational Technology course using the ADDIE development model. This limited trial subject consisted of one class with a total of 26 subjects who were first-semester students of the Educational Technology Study Program at Padang State University. The tools used in this study included validation sheets for subject matter experts and media experts, student learning motivation questionnaires, and pre-test and post-test assessments to measure the results.The results of the study show: 1) edugame: Platformer Genius Learn Suitable for use based on media expert validation showing an average score of 4.13 in the "Valid" category and the validation of a subject matter expert with an average score of 4.25 in the "Highly valid" category; 2) practicality of Edugame: Platformer Genius Learn at one to one trial obtained an average of 3.13 in the category of "quite practical", small group trial obtained an average of 4.03 in the "practical" category, and field trial obtained an average of 4.51 in the category of "very practical"; and 3) edugame effectiveness: Platformer Genius Learn proven through test analysis Paired Sample t-test show a significant improvement in student learning outcomes after using edugame media, and the results of the N-Gain Score calculation showed a value of 0.75, which is included in the high category. In addition, the results of the learning motivation questionnaire also show an average of 4.53, categorised as "very appropriate". Thus, Edugame Media: Platformer Genius Learn has been declared effective as an innovative, interactive learning medium that enhances learning motivation and outcomes among students in the Educational Technology Study Program at the State University of Padang.

Abstract

Pengembangan Mallverse sebagai toko virtual di metaverse bertujuan untuk menyediakan platform belanja yang interaktif dan imersif. Studi ini menyajikan proses pengembangan Mallverse, yang melibatkan analisis kebutuhan pengguna, penentuan konsep, pembuatan purwarupa, pembuatan lingkungan, dan implementasi. Mallverse dibangun menggunakan dua platform utama, yaitu Unity dan Roblox Studio, yang memungkinkan pengembangan lingkungan virtual yang realistis dan interaktif. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Mallverse mampu meningkatkan pengalaman belanja pengguna melalui navigasi yang intuitif dan interaksi produk yang mendalam. Selain itu, fitur sosial yang disediakan meningkatkan keterlibatan dan interaksi antar pengguna, memberikan nilai tambah bagi bisnis. Sistem beroperasi dengan stabil dan memiliki latensi yang dapat diterima, menunjukkan bahwa infrastruktur teknis yang digunakan cukup kuat untuk mendukung interaksi real-time. Kesimpulannya, Mallverse menunjukkan performa yang baik dan memenuhi sebagian besar kriteria keberhasilan yang ditetapkan, dengan beberapa rekomendasi untuk peningkatan lebih lanjut.

Abstract

The use of the 4–20 mA analog signal remains a foundational standard in industrial measurement and control systems, despite the continuous advancement of digital communication technologies. This study implements a hybrid validation approach that integrates the conventional 4–20 mA analog signal with HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) digital communication for conducting Input/Output (I/O) loop testing on pressure transmitters. The primary objective is to ensure the accuracy and reliability of signal transmission from field instruments to control systems such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) or Flow Computers. Utilizing a HART modem and FieldMate software, analog signals are injected and digitally monitored to verify transmitter output against predefined tolerance standards. Test results indicate that all evaluated transmitters maintained an error level below the 0.25% threshold, in compliance with standards set by the Directorate of Metrology and ASTM/API guidelines. The integration of HART communication significantly enhances testing efficiency, diagnostic capability, and remote configuration flexibility, underscoring the critical role of hybrid validation approaches in modern industrial instrumentation systems

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a multicultural counseling model based on 4S cultural values to terminate moral degradation among adolescents which is one of the factors that cause various social problems. This study generally aims to present a multicultural counseling service guide for guidance and counseling teachers. The specific objectives of this study are: 1) To describe students' needs for a multicultural counseling model based on 4S cultural values "(sipakatau, sipakainge, sipakalebbi, siri na pacce)" in terminating moral degradation among them. 2) To describe the ideal multicultural counseling model based on 4S cultural values "(sipakatau, sipakainge, sipakalebbi, siri na pacce)" through a feasibility test, usability test, and accuracy test so that it can be applied to terminate moral degradation among students 3) To identify if there are differences before and after the implementation of multicultural counseling services based on 4S cultural values "(sipakatau, sipakainge, sipakalebbi, siri na pacce)". The study was carried out through a Research and Development approach from Borg & Gold. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Quantitative data from paired observations were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test to identify whether they were different or not. The Wilcoxon test using SPSS version 22 for Pre-Test and Post-Test data showed that students' moral awareness increased after participating in multicultural counseling activities based on 4S culture. The study is authentically reported by authors and has not been published in any journal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya peningkatan kemahiran membaca kitab kuning siswa pasca metode Amtsilati; metode pengajaran; dan kendala yang dialami oleh guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan bentuk studi kasus (case study). Data primer bersumber dari peneliti, data sekunder bersumber dari catatan-catatan dan gambar, teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan trianggulation, member check, dan peer debriefing. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan adalah: (1) mengadakan latihan-latihan membaca kitab kuning diluar jam pelajaran pada pukul 14.30 sampai 15.45 WIB setiap Sabtu, Ahad dan Senin; mengadakan les setiap pukul 16.30-17.00 WIB selain Kamis dan Jum’at, dan pembimingan di kamar oleh santri senior. (2) Metode yang diterapkan yaitu : Metode Sorogan, Metode Diskusi, Metode Bandongan/Wetonan, Metode Ceramah, Metode Hafalan, Metode Tanya jawab; (3) Kendala yang dialami yaitu kondisi siswa dalam kelas kurang stabil.
