Abstract

Balai penyuluhan Keluarga Berencana (KB) memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di Indonesia melalui pelaksanaan penyuluhan Program Pembangunan Keluarga, Kependudukan, dan Keluarga Berencana (Bangga Kencana). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor penentu kinerja organisasi balai penyuluhan KB dan merumuskan model komunikasi organisasi yang dapat mendukung kinerja organisasi balai penyuluhan KB. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma positivistik, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang menggunakan analisis Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS SEM) dan desain survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik acak bertingkat. Penelitian ini menentukan jumlah sampel dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin, dengan total sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 430 sampel, dengan rincian 228 sampel di Kabupaten Cianjur dan 202 sampel di Kabupaten Indramayu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari kepuasan komunikasi tenaga lini lapangan dan efektivitas komunikasi organisasi di balai penyuluhan KB terhadap kinerja organisasi balai penyuluhan KB. Model kinerja organisasi balai penyuluhan KB berbasis komunikasi organisasi, berimplikasi pada perumusan konsep pengembangan kinerja organisasi balai penyuluhan KB dengan menerapkan konsep hubungan manusia dalam organisasi.

Abstract

Introduction. Social Inclusion-Based Special Library (PKBIS) is a transformation of library services that places the community as an active subject in utilizing information to improve welfare. This study aims to analyze the role and effectiveness of PKBIS in empowering agricultural communities in two assisted locations, namely the Leuwiliang and Cibungbulang Agricultural Extension Centers (BPP), Bogor Regency. Research Methods. The method used is a qualitative and quantitative survey involving 24 respondents, including service users, BPP managers, and PKBIS assistants. Data analysis. Data were analyzed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method to identify gaps between expectations and service performance. Results. Shows that no service attribute reaches the maximum level of conformity (100%), with an average conformity of 82.11%. Attributes that require priority improvement are in the aspects of proposal assistance and strengthening farmer institutions. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening mentoring strategies, preparing literacy materials based on local needs, and increasing the capacity of PKBIS managers. Conclusion. The PKBIS at BPP Leuwiliang and Cibungbulang effectively empowers farming communities through information access and capacity building, although the average service conformity level is only 82.11%. Improvements are needed in proposal preparation assistance and strengthening farmer institutions to optimize the potential of PKBIS as a driver of regional development.

Abstract

This study analyzed the compliance of Indonesian online media with the Child-Friendly Reporting Guidelines (PPRA) and UNICEF Guidelines, focusing on stigmatizing language and visual representation of children. A total of 282 news articles published in January, June, and December 2024 by Sindonews.com (national) and Poskota.co.id (local) were examined through quantitative content analysis. The coding instrument consisted of 117 indicators, with this article emphasizing 41 indicators related to language and visuals. The findings revealed moderate compliance. While anonymity protocols were generally applied, stigmatizing terms and degrading narratives remained frequent, especially when reporting children as perpetrators. Visuals often blurred children’s faces but still exposed contextual identifiers such as homes and schools. These practices undermine child protection. The study concluded that ethical reporting requires empathetic language, safe visuals, and stronger monitoring by the Press Council.

Abstract

One of the problems with families of children with cerebral palsy is that they still need a lot of information systematically and scientifically through counseling to build the psychological function of the families of children with cerebral palsy. So that all family members can fully function to provide resilience in parenting children with cerebral palsy who help their children who have limitations. The method used in this study is a descriptive method, which is a study that aims to describe and explain something as it is, while the materials and methods used in this study use a literature review. From the results of several studies regarding the study of parenting Cerebral Palsy children, there was no explanation of the form of intervention for parents who cared for children with Cerebral Palsy. Interventions currently being carried out from psychological studies are positive parenting programs and special commitment therapy for parents of children with cerebral palsy. Positive parenting programs and special commitment therapy for parents of Cerebral Palsy from health communication studies with an emphasis on Parenting Resilience of Cerebral Palsy children with emotional intelligence interventions and social support through family members, community, therapy due to the demands of the role of caregiving. the scarcity of parenting resources for children compared to parenting by the closest family members of Cerebral Palsy children.

Abstract

Pembangunan berkelanjutan merupakan kunci perubahan tatanan kehidupan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dapat dilihat melalui tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs). Inovasi dari hasil SDGs di Kota Bogor diberi nama aplikasi SiBadra sebagai bentuk layanan pengaduan digital. SiBadra, sebuah sistem informasi penyampaian keluhan dan saran, dirancang untuk memfasilitasi komunikasi antara masyarakat dan pemerintah. Meskipun aplikasi ini bertujuan untuk mendukung SDGs dengan menyediakan platform pengaduan online, namun masih terdapat tantangan yang signifikan, seperti rendahnya kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat, serta kurangnya evaluasi dampak. Penelitian ini mengkaji adopsi inovasi layanan SiBadra dengan fokus pada perbedaan karakteristik generasi digital natives dan digital immigrant serta peran media komunikasi dalam penyebaran inovasi. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi analisis pengaruh karakteristik generasi, karakteristik inovasi, dan media komunikasi terhadap adopsi SiBadra di Kota Bogor. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Analisis data yang digunakan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan juga menggunakan SEM-PLS untuk mengkaji dan menjelaskan data yang bersumber dari variabel yang kompleks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik inovasi seperti kompatibilitas dan kompleksitas, serta media komunikasi khususnya media elektronik mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap adopsi layanan SiBadra. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap pemahaman tentang bagaimana karakteristik media dan inovasi mempengaruhi penerimaan teknologi baru di berbagai kelompok generasi, serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi dan adopsi inovasi di era digital.

Abstract

The decline in people's income causes their financial prosperity. This can occur due to a lack of public awareness in managing finances for the future or a lack of interest in investing. This research aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy (knowledge, attitudes and behavior) on investment interest. This research is a quantitative descriptive study involving 205 respondents who met the criteria, namely adults and not yet invested. Sampling was carried out using voluntary sampling techniques from people who were willing to become respondents. The data collected is primary data obtained directly from respondents by filling out an online questionnaire. The research results show that the respondents' financial knowledge is in the low category, while the respondents' financial attitudes and behavior are in the medium category. The investment interest of all respondents is in the low category. The results of the analysis also show that investment interest is directly influenced by financial knowledge and financial attitudes. Financial knowledge has an indirect influence on investment interest, namely through financial attitudes. It is hoped that the public can increase their financial literacy and interest in investing through socialization, advocacy and mentoring programs.

Abstract

Merauke's 2025 Community Paddy Field Expansion (CSR) is a strategic policy to expand rice fields outside Java to achieve food self-sufficiency in Indonesia. This study aims to examine how the development of sustainable food farming communities is shaped by the dialectic between local and neoliberal food governance in Merauke's 2025 CSR. Using a critical qualitative approach and a multi-level case study method in three of the 46 villages implementing Merauke's 2025 CSR, this study analyzes the interaction between state rationality and local governance in three socio-ecological types of villages. Qualitative primary data processed and analyzed through data condensation revealed that the implementation of Merauke 2025 CSR in three socio-ecological types of village communities created an antagonistic landscape between the former transmigrant village communities and the indigenous farming communities (native Papuans). Within this antagonistic landscape, the development of sustainable food farming communities is shaped by a negotiated interaction between central government policies with neoliberal governance and local community practices that lead to sustainable governance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana Fandiego Travel menggunakan Instagram untuk mempromosikan paket Umrah, Haji, dan wisata lainnya. Instagram menjadi media yang efektif karena dapat menjangkau banyak orang dan menampilkan konten secara visual serta interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur untuk memahami peran Instagram dalam promosi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Fandiego Travel memanfaatkan fitur Feed, Story, Reels, dan iklan untuk menyampaikan informasi dengan menarik dan mudah dipahami. Fitur-fitur ini membantu meningkatkan minat pelanggan dan kesadaran merek. Namun, perusahaan juga menghadapi beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan staf, jaringan internet yang kurang stabil, dan perubahan algoritma yang mengurangi jangkauan konten. Secara keseluruhan, Instagram tetap menjadi media promosi yang efektif dan interaktif bagi Fandiego Travel. Platform ini membantu perusahaan terhubung dengan pelanggan, menyampaikan informasi dengan jelas, dan memperkuat kehadirannya di dunia digital.

Abstract

Digital advertisement has evolved into one of the main marketing communication tools in the digital era. YouTube is one of the largest social media platforms and the primary choice for major companies to market their products. One strategy that attracts the audience's attention is through brand collaborations with public figures. Indomie partnered with NewJeans as the Global Brand Ambassador for its latest Korean Ramyeon Series product advertisement. This study aims to analyze the visual elements that can build a persuasive message and apply the conditions and characteristics within the visual rhetoric theory. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method based on Foss's (2005) visual rhetoric theory to evaluate three conditions of visual rhetoric: symbolic, human intervention, and the presence of an audience. This research analyzes three characteristics of visual rhetoric: nature of the image, function of the image, and evaluation of the image, to understand how visual elements shape messages and influence the audience. The results show that this advertisement successfully applies the principles of visual rhetoric according to Foss's theory (2005). The visual elements in this advertisement are symbolic, with the use of colours, facial expressions, and visual style strengthening the product message. Human intervention is evident in the creative visuals relevant to the target audience, namely Generation Z. The advertisement also manages to evoke a positive communicative response. The analysis of visual rhetoric characteristics reveals the effective application of the nature of the image, the function of the image, and the evaluation of the image in shaping a persuasive message and strengthening emotional connections through the effective use of visual elements.

Abstract

This study explores how communication within social networks mediates access to resources and entrepreneurial success among people with disabilities. Moving beyond resource-based perspectives that emphasize financial capital, the research applies a communicative–relational framework integrating social capital theory and communication theory of resilience. The study adopts a mixed-methods approach using the Analytic Hierarchy Process with five expert informants to identify and prioritize key factors affecting business performance among disabled micro-entrepreneurs in Indonesia. Results reveal that while financial resources remain foundational, their impact depends heavily on communicative linkages across disability support organizations, mentorship structures, and community networks. Social network communication serves as a mediating mechanism that converts tangible resources into adaptive capacity, innovation, and social recognition. The findings underscore the need for inclusive entrepreneurship programs that enhance both resource accessibility and communicative competence, positioning communication as a form of social capital essential for sustainable development.
