Abstract

This study examines the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in Natural and Social Sciences education to enhance environmental awareness among fifth-grade students at SDIT Wihdatul Ummah in Makassar City. The background of this research stems from the low environmental awareness observed among students, evidenced by behaviors such as littering, lack of concern for energy conservation, and minimal participation in school cleanliness activities. The study aimed to improve students' environmental consciousness by implementing the PjBL model, where students were tasked with creating environmental awareness posters. The research used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of three meetings. The stages of PjBL involved determining essential questions, project planning, scheduling, project implementation, result testing, and evaluation of experiences. Data collection was done through observations, attitude questionnaires, and documentation of student activities. The findings showed that the PjBL model successfully increased students' active participation, creativity in expressing environmental awareness through posters, and their practical actions toward environmental protection. The environmental awareness indicators, such as maintaining cleanliness, managing waste, conserving energy, understanding waste disposal systems, and using cleaning tools, significantly improved from Cycle I to Cycle II. The results indicate that the PjBL model is effective in enhancing environmental awareness while making the learning process more engaging and contextual for elementary school students.

Abstract

Adolescents constitute the largest population group in Indonesia and hold a strategic role in national development. However, high rates of early marriage and stunting indicate low readiness for transitioning into adulthood. This community service research aims to empower adolescents through the Generasi Berencana (GenRe) education and training program to promote marriage maturity and prevent stunting in Nanggalo District, Padang City. The study employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach including education, training, GenRe Ambassador selection, work program development, and monitoring and evaluation. Results showed a 35% increase in adolescents' knowledge and the establishment of a GenRe Forum and 12 active youth change agents. Outputs include mass media publications, an accredited national journal article, video documentation, and an ISBN-registered handbook. In conclusion, the program effectively enhanced adolescents' capacity as agents of change in preventing early marriage and stunting.

Abstract

Peran pemuda sebagai generasi penerus bangsa sangat penting dalam mendorong kemajuan berbagai sektor, termasuk ekonomi. Karang Taruna hadir sebagai wadah pembinaan dan pemberdayaan pemuda untuk mengembangkan potensi lokal melalui penguatan sektor UMKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan bagaimana komunikasi organisasi dijalankan oleh Karang Taruna Kecamatan Setiabudi, Jakarta Selatan, dalam meningkatkan dan mengembangkan UMKM binaan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam kepada pengurus Karang Taruna dan pelaku UMKM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi internal dilakukan melalui rapat rutin, pemetaan potensi anggota, serta pemanfaatan media digital. Komunikasi dua arah antara pengurus dan pelaku UMKM membentuk hubungan kerja partisipatif dan responsif. Sinergi antara kepentingan individu dan visi organisasi menjadi faktor utama keberhasilan program, menjadikan Karang Taruna mitra strategis dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the dynamics of campus life for non-Muslim students at Teuku Umar University (UTU). This study focuses on two main aspects, namely the challenges faced by non-Muslim students and the support available from the institution. This research uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach, which aims to understand and describe the phenomena experienced by the research subjects. The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews. The main informants are non-Muslim students who are studying and employees in the academic department and student affairs at UTU. The findings of this study identify that non-Muslim students at UTU face various challenges. The challenges faced in social interaction are differences in social and cultural norms, limitations in access and facilities for worship, and the existence of negative stigma. In social integration, non-Muslim students face challenges in the process of adjusting to the academic environment. Related to the difficulties faced by non-Muslim students, the campus strives to provide support in the form of providing services in the religious aspect, access and equality, holding inclusive social activities, and support from the academic community. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as study material to create a responsive and inclusive campus.

Abstract

The Community Partnership Empowerment (PKM) program involves Family Welfare Movement (PKK) group partners. Preparation for the program began in June 2025, beginning with a visit by the implementation team to Gampong Nusa to conduct a survey to assess community conditions. During the subsequent visit, the team submitted a PKM implementation permit from LPPM UNAYA and briefly presented the PKM program. The team explained the stages of the program, the implementation schedule, and other details. Counseling and training were held on September 20, 2025, followed by mentoring in the production of ADHA products, including moringa tea, moringa powder, moringa sachets, and moringa capsules. Following the mentoring, the best and fastest group in producing ADHA products was selected. Subsequently, on September 21, 2025, the community service team planted 250 moringa cuttings in several locations in Gampong Nusa..

Abstract

The determination of permanent employees is a crucial strategic decision for every organization. This decision affects productivity, efficiency, and work culture within the company. This study aims to analyze and determine permanent employees using the OCRA (Operational Competitiveness Rating Analysis) Method. OCRA is a method that assesses employee performance based on indicators of Length of Work, Work Loyalty, Age, Last Education, Work Performance, Communication Skills, and Teamwork Skills that are relevant to the operations of a company. In this study, employee performance data is collected and analyzed using a quantitative approach. Each employee is assessed based on a number of criteria that include productivity, quality of work, compliance with procedures, and contribution to the team and the company as a whole. The results of the OCRA analysis are then used to identify employees who have superior performance and deserve to be considered as permanent employees. The results of the study show that the OCRA Method is able to provide an objective and measurable assessment in determining permanent employees. A3-employees with the highest OCRA scores are proven to have consistent performance and a significant contribution to the achievement of company goals. This study concludes that the use of the OCRA Method in determining permanent employees can increase transparency and accuracy in human resource management decision-making.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan bahasa Indonesia dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah, dengan fokus pada aspek kebahasaan serta sistematika penulisan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik studi dokumenter dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan model analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan adanya kesalahan dalam ejaan, termasuk penulisan kata, penggunaan huruf, tanda baca, serta penerapan unsur serapan. Selain itu, analisis terhadap sistematika penulisan juga menemukan beberapa kekeliruan, seperti judul artikel yang terlalu singkat dan tidak cukup informatif, latar belakang dalam pendahuluan yang tidak relevan dengan permasalahan, kesimpulan yang tidak menjawab pertanyaan penelitian, serta inkonsistensi dalam penulisan daftar pustaka, termasuk referensi yang tidak tersusun secara alfabetis.

Abstract

Researchers believe that the Pesantreprenuer concept which has been successfully implemented in Islamic boarding schools, especially the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School, can also be applied in Ma'had in order to improve the economy of Ma'had which can also increase the empowerment of students living in Ma'had. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, namely regarding the concept of Pesantrenprenuership which is applied at the Islamic University of Ma'had to increase the economic empowerment of students living in Ma'had. The data in this research uses secondary data originating from websites, scientific articles, books and other credible references. The result in this article show 1. Ma'had aims to guarantee quality so that students/college students who live at Ma'had can improve their theoretical and practical skills so that they can talk a lot when they go out to the community, 2. Ma'had and Islamic boarding schools have similarities like twins, especially regarding the characteristics of the students/mahasantri who stay together, the learning curriculum, and learning objectives/quality assurance. 3. The Islamic boarding school concept applied in Islamic boarding schools aims to create independent financing for Islamic boarding schools, improve students' skills, and increase students' economic empowerment. 4. The concept of Islamic boarding school is easier to apply in Ma'had because of emotional maturity, intellectual maturity and level of creativity. So that the economic empowerment of mahasantri is easier to achieve in ma'had.

Abstract

This research aims to answer the question of how teachers play a role in building students' competencies through a problem-solving approach at Jagakarsa 04 Morning Public Elementary School in Jakarta. The study utilizes a qualitative approach with a case study design, where the researcher explores information on the topic under investigation. Data is collected through classroom observations and interviews with 4 teachers serving as informants. The collected data is thematically analyzed, where the researcher identifies patterns and main themes emerging from the data. The research findings indicate that the role of teachers in developing students' competencies through a problem-solving approach is crucial. Teachers not only act as facilitators helping students acquire skills through this approach but also serve as models providing good examples in problem-solving. Additionally, teachers support collaboration and teamwork among students, strengthening their problem-solving abilities collectively. Teachers also play a key role in encouraging students to develop creativity and innovation through the problem-solving approach, enhancing their critical and solution-oriented thinking skills. Lastly, teachers create a safe and supportive learning environment, allowing students to independently explore task solutions. These findings contribute new insights for teachers to optimize their roles in fostering students' competencies through a problem-solving approach in elementary schools.

Abstract

Anak seringkali menjadi sasaran kekerasan seksual. Salah satu penyebabnya dala rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat akan hak anak serta rendahnya pengetahuan tentang pendidikan seks. Kegiatan Pendidikan Kesehatan dilakukan dengan edukasi mengenai pencegahan kekerasan seksual dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran diri anak-anak dan remaja di Panti Asuhan Asyiyah Koto Tuo untuk menjaga diri sehingga terlindungi dari kekerasan seksual. Edukasi pencegahan kekerasan seksual menggunakan media power point, pemutaran video serta flyer agar para peserta semakin memahami mengenai edukasi yang diberikan. Kegiatan ini juga dilanjutkan dengan buka puasa bersama kemudian penyerahan bingkisan untuk penghuni Panti Asuhan. Kegiatan Sebagian dapat berjalan sesuai rencana, anak dapat memahami kekerasan seksual dengan baik. Diharapkan adanya pengawasan orang tua dan selalu memperkuat edukasi tentang kekerasan seksual pada anak serta adanya dukungan dari masyarakat dan kebijakan pemerintah dalam mencegah kekerasan seksual pada anak.
