Abstract

Abstract: Local wisdom is a custom that is firmly held and maintained by the local community and certain tribes. Culture entering the community can change the values that exist in the local community. The purpose of this study was to establish the local wisdom of the Rimba Puaka of the Talang Mamak tribe. The type of research used in this study are ethnographic research methods incorporated into qualitative research. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the local wisdom of Rimba Puaka is still maintained and preserved by the Talang tribe. Local Wisdom Rimba Puaka is a forest sacred by the community. This is apparent from the results of interviews conducted by researchers. Interviews were conducted with several informants from the indigenous Talang Mamak tribe.Key Words: Local Wisdom; Jungle Puaka, Talang Mamak Tribe Community

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the process of developing adobe flash-based disaster mitigation learning media at 192 Pekanbaru Elementary Schools. This research was conducted at 192 Pekanbaru Elementary School in September 2019 - January 2020. This type of research is a research development, using the ADDIE model which consists of analysis, design. Development (implementation), implementation (implementation) and evaluation (evaluation). In collecting data in this study using one-on-one trials and limited trials. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the learning media for adobe flash-based disaster mitigation after one-on-one tests has an average score of 84.41% with a very good category, then in a limited trial it is obtained an average score of 93.36 % with very good categories. Overall the level of user response to adobe flash-based disaster mitigation learning media is in the very good category.Key Words: Adobe Flash, Disaster Mitigation

Abstract

The product produced by this development research is a learning media in the form of a quartet card on Natural Resources material. This learning media product was created and designed with the aim that it can be applied as a teacher's tool in delivering material, literacy activities and as a source of independent learning by students. The purpose of this research is to produce a product for developing Kakli learning media (Quartet Literacy Cards) on Natural Resources material. This research is included in research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) because it is seen as a suitable design model for the development of learning media in the form of this Literacy Quartet Card. The data collection instrument used in the study was a questionnaire (questionnaire). In this research and development, researchers conducted quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results of the research conducted, it can be concluded as follows: The media of the natural resource material literacy quartet card is classified as very valid with a score of 83% for material validation, and for the validation of the natural resource material literacy quartet card media it is declared a valid category so that it has met validity criteria and can be used in schools, then categorized in the game media which is very feasible in the teacher response test and student response test with a score of 92% and 86.33%, which is above 81.25%

Abstract

This study aims to produce digital comic media based on cultural diversity in learning energy sources class IV theme II in elementary schools. This type of research is development research (R&D) using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The data in this study were obtained using a questionnaire (questionnaire). The results of the validation carried out by validators and practitioners on digital comic media consisting of 6 aspects of the assessment got an average score of 89.75% with a very valid category. The validation carried out by media experts got a score of 92.31%, the validation carried out by material experts got a score of 86.54%, the validation carried out by linguists got a score of 99.04%, the validation carried out by practitioner I got a score of 82.69 %, and the validation carried out by practitioner II got a score of 93.27%. The subjects of this study were fourth grade elementary school students at SDIT Raudaturrahmah Pekanbaru. The results of the one-to-one trial obtained an average score of 84% by indicating a very feasible category. The results of the limited trial got an average score of 84.81% with a very decent category. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that comics media based on cultural diversity in class IV energy source learning in elementary schools are appropriate for elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students’ metacognitive knowledge about the cleanliness of the school environment in class V elementary school 130 Pekanbaru. The category of students’ metacognitive knowledge reviewed in this study is very low, low, medium, high, and very high categories. This research was conducted to 94 fifth grade students of Sekolah Dasar 130 Pekanbaru. The instrument used to collect data was a metacognitive knowledge test about the cleanliness of the school environment consisting of 12 essay questions. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive methods. The results showed that students’ metacognitive knowledge about the cleanliness of the school environment in class V elementary school 130 Pekanbaru showed a medium category with an average value of 58,8. Based on the result of the analysis, it was also found that there was a gender difference that female students were superior to male students, where the students’ metacognitive knowledge about the cleanliness of the school environment was very low and in the low category was dominated by male students.Keywords: metacognitive knowledge; cleanlines of the school environment; quantitative descriptive.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan miskonsepsi siswa sekolah dasar (SD). Seharusnya siswa tidak boleh memiliki konsep yang keliru karena dapat  mempengaruhi pemahamannya pada materi berikutnya. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes berupa four tier test dan wawancara. Teknik pengambilan sampel melalui sampling jenuh yaitu  seluruh kelas V SD Negeri 37 Pekanbaru. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa miskonsepsi siswa SD dapat dikategorikan “sedang” dengan rata-rata 53,57 % atau berjumlah 60 siswa dari 112 siswa. Miskonsepsi tertinggi pada sub indikator materi terkait sumber cahaya dengan miskonsepsi sebesar 68,75 % atau berjumlah 77 siswa dari 112 siswa. Miskonsepsi terendah yaitu sebesar 35,71 % atau sebanyak 40 siswa yaitu pada sub indikator cahaya dapat dibiaskan. Berdasarkan faktor gender, miskonsepsi siswa laki-laki dan perempuan dikategorikan sedang yaitu sebesar 53,57%  dan 55,36%. Hal ini menunjukkan  bahwa masih banyak siswa SD yang mengalami miskonsepsi pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya.

Abstract

This research is to find out and describe elementary students misconception on the concept of force and motion. Data collection methods using tests in the form of four tier tests and interviews. Sampling techniques through saturated sampling is applied to obtain students who will be examined throughbout the fifth grade of SDN 147 Pekanbaru. The research data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis. The results showed that elementary students misconceptions could be categorized as “medium” with an average of 54,29% or totaling 76 students from 140 students studied. The bighest misconception on the concept spring force with a misconception of 75% or a total of 105 students from 140 students studied. The lowest misconception on the concept of the influence of force on the motion of objects with a misconception of 19,29% or a total of  27 students from 140 students studied. Comparison of the percentage of misconceptions of male and female students on the concepts of force and motion included in “medium category”, with an average percentage of misconceptions that occur in male students by 51,56%  and female students by 51,31%. Miskonsepsi terendah pada sub indikator pengaruh gaya pada gerak benda dengan persentase miskonsepsi sebesar 19,29% atau berjumlah 27 siswa dari 140 siswa. Perbandingan persentase miskonsepsi siswa laki-laki dan perempuan pada materi gaya dan gerak termasuk dalam kategori “sedang” dengan rata-rata miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada siswa laki-laki sebesar 51,56% dan perempuan sebesar 51,31%.  Faktor penyebab terjadinya miskonsepsi pada siswa berasal dari peserta didik, konteks dan metode mengajar. Abstract

Literacy Village is a village area that is used to create people who have broad knowledge and understanding. At the same time, it is also a program to realize the Sustainable Development Goals in 2030. An important effort made as the first step to build a Literacy Village in Maredan Barat physically is to build a Community Reading Park, as well as building positive perceptions of the community towards Literacy Village. This paper will explain the efforts made in building this Literacy Village. To get feedback and people’s perceptions about the activities done, 56 respondents were asked to give their responce to the given questionnaire. Respondents were selected by stratified random sampling. The results of the questionnaire analysis show that the community has a positive perception of the development of Literacy Village. In general, activities of Literacy Village development can be said to be successful, although there are still obstacles due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This community empowerment program has the aim of providing knowledge and skills based on the creative economy in utilizing the local potential of kelulut honey in Rambahan Village, Kec. Logas Tanah Darat Kab. Kuantan Singingi, so that there is an improvement in terms of the community's economy to be better than before. This service activity was carried out in two activities, namely counseling on kelulut bee cultivation and testing of processed honey which went through three stages, the preparation stage, implementation and monitoring stage, and the final/evaluation stage. Implementation of activities using training and guidance and assistance. With material about cultivating kelulut bees using a stupor topping system and testing processed honey products to produce beverage products (honey syrup), beauty products (honey masks, honey soap), and health products (pure honey). The results of the service activities are considered successful and by the objectives and right on target. Through this activity, increase the knowledge and skills of the community in cultivating kelulut bees. The community can cultivate, starting from nurseries, maintenance, harvesting to marketing. The community has succeeded in cultivating bees and producing honey, as well as opportunities for processed honey products that can be developed. The community is keen to uncover the potential of processed honey which has economic value and becomes additional fields for honey farmers.

Abstract

This study attempts to investigate the positive and the negative impact of negative reinforcement on fifth-grade students’ science learning process. This study was carried out in elementary school 177 Pekanbaru. The kind of research is a qualitative study, and data were collected using video recording, observation, the questionnaire, and interview. Ten learning and teaching activities were conducted in two classrooms, 5 times in VA and 5 times in VB. The results show that the positive impact of negative reinforcement is to increased students’ motivation to study science. While the negative impact of negative reinforcement is, to have students’ ton fear or vexation dislike to their teacher. The students feel discomfort because the teacher often punished students whenever they made mistakes
