The method used was a survey with a total of 10 respondents. The Fisheries and Maritime Service of Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province, numbered three people and seven cultivators, and purposive sampling was the technique for taking respondents. The research results show that the cultivation potential is 120,000 kg/harvest to 170,000 kg/harvest, with a Net Present Value (NPV) of 80% from IDR 65,759,767,943.09/ year. Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C Ratio) ≥1 means the business is said to be feasible and can also be continued. Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is 80%, meaning IRR > discount rate that has been determined, then the business is feasible to continue, and the interest rate used in this research is the BRI Bank interest rate of 15%, the sustainability status of the blood shell cultivation business is assessed based on five dimensions. The ecological, economic, social, technological and institutional dimensions included in the good and very sustainable categories are the environmental, economic and social dimensions, with dimension values of 82.33 to 86.96. Meanwhile, in the bad (unsustainable) and poor (less sustainable) categories, namely the technological and institutional dimensions, with dimension values of 21.54 to 34.65. Therefore, the two dimensions included in the categories of bad (unsustainable) and poor (less sustainable) concern the management and all stakeholders, who need to take corrective steps to improve the blood-shell resource in Rokan Hilir Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of feeding bokashi cow manure on the chemical properties of Alfisols soil and the yield of Muna's local corn (Zea Mays L.). This study was conducted at the Land Experiment Garden II Faculty of Agriculture of Halu Oleo University, and the sampling of Alfisol soil was conducted in Puwatu Village, from March to June 2022. This study used a Randomized Group Design (RGD) method with 4 bokashi cow manure treatments: B0 = without bokashi cow manure (control), B1 = 200 g polybag-1, B2 = 400 g polybag-1, B3 = 600 g polybag-1. The research results show that the treatment of bokashi manure improves the chemical properties of the soil. Treatment of B3 gives the highest values for organic-C (0.34%), total-N (0.11%), available-P (25.66 ppm), KTK (53.19 me/100g) except for available-K and affects plant height, stem diameter, fruit weight and seed count. Abstract

Soil sampling was carried out at PT. Wijaya Inti Nusantara, Torobulu Village, Laeya District, South Konawe Regency. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 7 treatments, namely: B0D0 = without amelioran, B1DI = ameliorant of rice husk 50g/polybag, B1D2 = ameliorant of rise husk 100g/polybag, B1D3 = ameliorant of rice husk 150g/polybag, B2D1 = ameliorant of sawdust 50 g/polybag, B2D2 = ameliorant of sawdust 100 g/polybag , and B2D3 = Amelioran sawdust 150 g/polybag, each treatment was repeated 3 times and 21 research units were obtained. The results of the study on the effect of ameliorants on the growth of patchouli plants in ex-mining soil showed that the highest treatment was C-organic B2D3 3.38% (T), water content B1D3 34.5% week 4, and aggregate stability B1D1, B1D2 , B1D3 (3) Total Slanging. The effect of using ameliorant on the growth of patchouli plants in ex-mining soil has an effect on plant height and biomass variables compared to no treatment. The best results were found in the B2D3 treatment. Keywords: ameliorant, patchouli, rice husk, sawdust
