Abstract

This study explores the role of artificial intelligence (AI) with Natural Language Processing (NLP) language management in collaboration with Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) which produces modern language modeling techniques such as Word Embeddings, N-Gram, Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), Transformer Models, Generative Pre-trainde Transformer (GPT) and its variants, such as Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) in carrying out Quranic understanding activities. The success of AI with its NLP has been proven to be able to understand the Quran well. However, there are several challenges and limitations that cannot be done while still requiring the role of humans because they are dealing with the text of the Qur'an in classical Arabic with its morphology, syntax and semantic complexity. As well as concerns that algorithms may not be able to understand the cultural, historical, and theological nuances that often affect the interpretation of the verse. Therefore, it is appropriate to conduct research to measure the level of understanding of the Quran carried out by AI using the Bloom taxonomy instrument. Using a qualitative approach and literature study related to AI features with its NLP, Bloom's taxonomy combines the two. The results of this study show that AI capabilities when measured with Bloom's taxonomy are fully achieved at level 1, namely Remembering, while at the level of Understanding, Applying, Analyzing, the ability is limited. And not able to do it at the level of Evaluating and Creating.

Abstract

Drying coffee beans with a solar dryer is a sustainable solution to improve quality and production efficiency. However, its implementation in the field faces challenges such as high material costs, design complexity, and the gap between physical principles and farmers' socioeconomic conditions. This article analyzes the physical concepts underlying coffee drying using solar dryers, including heat transfer dynamics, numerical modeling-based design optimization (CFD and FEM), and technology integration such as IoT and hybrid systems. A literature review of 20 related studies showed that while solar dryers are theoretically effective, for example through thermal efficiency improvements of up to 40% with vacuum collectors, the use of expensive materials, reliance on fossil energy in hybrid systems, and lack of technical education hinder the adoption of this technology at the farm level. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of local material-based designs such as bamboo, participatory education, and holistic policy interventions to bridge the gap between scientific innovation and field realities.

Abstract

Culture is a reflection of the values, traditions, and local wisdom of the community that develop in everyday life, as well as being a medium for the expression of various mathematical and philosophical concepts. This study aims to explore the concept of spatial shapes and the mathematical and philosophical values ​​contained in the Joglo Pencu Traditional House in Kudus Regency through an ethnomathematics perspective. The study uses an exploratory method with an ethnographic approach to reveal the relationship between local cultural elements and geometric forms of spatial shapes. The subject of the study was Mr. P, the caretaker of the Joglo Pencu Traditional House located in the Kudus Kretek Museum area. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the structure of the Joglo Pencu Traditional House contains various simple spatial shapes such as cuboids, cubes, rectangular pyramids, cylinders, and spheres, which represent mathematical values. In addition, each spatial shape also implies philosophical values, such as balance, order, and the outlook on life of the Kudus community. This finding confirms that the Joglo Pencu Traditional House contains mathematical and philosophical values ​​that can be analyzed through the geometry of the spatial structure.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: This study aims to characterize how well a digital pianica application, when integrated as an interactive learning tool, can improve learning interest, understanding of number notation, and the ability to play the national song "Ibu Kita Kartini" in fourth grade elementary school. Research Methods: Descriptive qualitative methodology was used, and data were collected through documentation, interviews, and observations. Finding/Results: According to the study findings, the use of the pianica program can increase students' enthusiasm, make it easier for them to understand number notation, and inspire their courage and overall musical ability. The program makes learning fun and efficient by offering customizable activities along with attractive visual and audio displays. Conclusion: These results highlight the value of using digital media as an alternative to traditional methods of teaching music in elementary schools.

Abstract

Kejahatan dan pelanggaran terhadap nilai-nilai saat ini telah dilakukan oleh berbagai golongan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Jika dikaitkan dengan pendidikan, maka hal tersebut menunjukkan rapuhnya landasan moral dan nilai-nilai spiritual dalam sistem pendidikan. Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas menawarkan konsep yang sarat dengan nilai-nilai spiritualitas yang perlu dibangun dalam pendidikan Islam. Secara ideal, al-Attas menghendaki pendidikan Islam mampu mencetak manusia yang baik secara universal (al-insân al-kâmil). Suatu tujuan yang mengarah pada dua dimensi sekaligus yakni, sebagai Abd Allâh (hamba Allah), dan sebagai Khalifah fî al-ardl (wakil Allah di muka bumi).

Abstract

This research shows that financial literacy and pocket money influence investment decisions and financial behavior. The research object was FEB students at the Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya; the research sample was 350 FEB students. Data collection uses primary data in the form of a questionnaire, which is filled with research instruments according to the indicators of the variable. Data processing using SEM-PLS tests hypotheses with outer and inner models. The results of the study show that financial literacy, pocket money, and financial behavior have no significant effect on investment decisions, while financial literacy and pocket money have a significant effect on financial behavior.

Abstract

Arabic language learning in Indonesian pesantren has traditionally emphasized mastery of grammar, morphology, vocabulary, and classical texts; however, many non-native learners still experience a gap between linguistic competence and spontaneous communicative performance. This gap is intensified by the limited availability of authentic Arabic-speaking environments in domestic educational contexts. This research aims to analyze how a High-Context Culture is established, maintained, and experienced in Arabic language learning, and to formulate an ecological model that explains its role in enhancing the communicative performance of non-native speakers. The study was conducted in the LPBAA Daerah Arab Dormitory of Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School using an educational ethnographic approach. Data were collected over a six-month period through in-depth interviews with four administrators, three students, and two senior students serving as Rijalul Lughah, along with participant observation and document analysis. The findings reveal that Arabic communicative performance is shaped by a multi-layered ecological architecture consisting of five interconnected components: compulsory linguistic zones, a performance-based spiral curriculum, a time-layered activity network, the social infrastructure of Rijalul Lughah, and an authentic resource ecosystem. This culture is maintained through gradual socialization, educative correction, hybrid motivation, and communal identity-reinforcing rituals. The analysis shows that the high-context learning culture increases students’ willingness to communicate, strengthens pragmatic-intercultural competence, supports the acquisition of contemporary Arabic expressions, and transforms Arabic from a classroom subject into a medium of social participation and identity formation. The study contributes to Arabic language learning theory by integrating Sociocultural Theory, Community of Practice, and High-Context Culture into an ecological model of designed domestic immersion.

Abstract

Reading comprehension literacy is an important skill that should be developed in elementary school to help students understand information and build knowledge. However, observations in the second grade of SDN Karangbesuki 2 Malang showed that many students still had difficulty understanding the texts they read, even though most of them could read fluently. This study aimed to improve students’ reading comprehension literacy through the use of flipbook-based storybooks. The research used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of two cycles with the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The participants were 23 second-grade students of SDN Karangbesuki 2 Malang. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation and analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The results showed that students’ classical learning mastery increased from 30.43% in the pre-cycle to 60.87% in Cycle I and 86.96% in Cycle II. Teacher and student activities during the learning process also improved and reached the “very good” category. Therefore, the use of flipbook-based storybooks was effective in improving the reading comprehension literacy of second-grade elementary school students.
