Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of interest among students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program at Hamzanwadi University in using quantitative research methods in writing their theses in 2024. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a documentation study approach on 161 student theses. The analysis results show that 37% of the theses used quantitative methods, 35% used qualitative methods, and 28% used development methods (R&D). These findings indicate that although quantitative methods are still the primary choice, there is a trend of increasing use of other methods that adjust to the complexity and needs of the research topic. This study provides important insights for advisors and study programs in designing more relevant and contextual learning strategies for research methodology.

Abstract

Kelurahan Pendrikan Lor adalah salah satu kelurahan di Kematan Tengah . Pendrikan Lor terdiri dari 6 Rukun Warga yang menyebar di wilayahnya dari timur ke barat. Ibu rumah tangga di kelurahan pendrikan lor menginginkan tambahan pendapatan, dan itu dapat diperoleh dengan salah satu cara yaitu menumbuhkan kreativitas dalam memproduksi barang-barang yang bisa bernilai jual. Kreativitas sangatlah dibutuhkan karena semakin ketatnya persaingan antar bisnis, sehingga hal ini membuat berbagai pelaku usaha untuk berpikir secara kreatif demi memastikan bisnis mereka semakin terlihat oleh konsumen. Pengabdian Masyarakat yang dilakukan menjadikan ibu rumah tangga bisa terasah kreativitasnya sehingga bisa menciptakan barang dengan nilai tambah dan menjual untuk dapat meningkatkan pendapatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat adalah dengan melalui penyuluhan dan pelatihan barang kreasi baru yang dari limbah / barang tak terpakai menjadi barang yang lebih bisa berjual nilai tinggi. Sebelum dan setelah dilakukan penyuluhan dan pelatihan diberikan test yang berkaitan dengan materi pengabdian. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa gantungan kunci dari kain perca. Peserta penyuluhan juga diajarkan bagaaimana menentukan Harga Pokok Produksi ( HPP ) , dan menentukan harga jual serta keuntungan yang diinginkan.

Abstract

This community engagement project aimed to empower ten traditional food vendors in Kotagede, Yogyakarta, by training them to utilize butterfly pea (Clitoria ternatea) flowers as natural food coloring. Employing a participatory approach, the training covered health risks of synthetic dyes, the benefits and cultivation of butterfly pea plants, natural dye extraction techniques, and basic product branding. Data were collected through pre- and post-tests, observation, and semi-structured interviews. Results showed a significant increase in participants’ knowledge and practical skills, with post-test scores rising across all indicators. Most participants successfully applied the extract in traditional dishes and reported improved consumer interest due to the natural and visually appealing color. Some began cultivating the plants and branding their products with natural labels. Despite minor challenges regarding shelf life and packaging, the training effectively promoted innovation, health awareness, and entrepreneurship among women food vendors. This program highlights the potential of locally sourced natural ingredients in supporting sustainable, health-conscious food businesses.

Abstract

Textbooks play a crucial role in the Arabic language learning journey for non-Arabic-speaking students at the Madrasah Aliyah level. A well-structured textbook can act as a teaching aid and a roadmap for mastering language competencies that align with both national and international standards, such as the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. One such textbook is “اللغة العربية 2” published by Quadra in 2022 for Year 11 students. However, research on this textbook remains limited. This study aims to examine the alignment of the textbook's content with established standards while investigating indicators of speaking skill competence based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and content analysis methods, the primary data source is “اللغة العربية 2” supplemented by relevant literature. The findings indicate that the textbook meets standards for linguistic accuracy, material presentation, and visual layout. The speaking competencies are aligned with levels A2 and B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Topics like shopping and health correspond to level A2, promoting direct communication, while travel and technology fit level B1, encouraging extended speech and structured expression of experiences and opinions. Future research should explore other language skills within the same textbook for a comprehensive evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) Describe the steps of implementing the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model to improve the cooperation skills of fifth grade students of Tulusrejo Elementary School, 2) Determine the improvement of cooperation skills of fifth grade students of Tulusrejo Elementary School through the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model. The study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles. Each cycle has 2 meetings. The research subjects were 16 fifth grade students of Tulusrejo Elementary School consisting of 8 boys and 8 girls. The data collection methods used were interviews, observation and documentation. Implementation of the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model with 5 stages, namely 1) Class Presentation, 2) Group Learning, 3) Games, 4) Competitions, 5) Awards. The results of the research observations are as follows: learning using the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model is very suitable to be applied in Elementary Schools because the percentage of students' cooperation skills at the pre-cycle stage is 31%, cycle I becomes 44% at meeting 1 and 50% at meeting 2. Then in cycle II it increases to 69% at meeting 1 and increases significantly again to 88% meeting the specified classical completeness of 80%. From the results of the implementation of the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model, it can be considered effective in improving students' cooperation skills. So this model can be used as an effective alternative strategy to improve students' cooperation skills in Elementary Schools.

Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh untuk bisa bekerja di Jepang, TKI harus memenuhi standar kualifikasi tertentu. Di sinilah peran lembaga pendukung seperti Nano Create Company menjadi penting. Perusahaan ini berperan menyiapkan dan melatih tenaga kerja Indonesia agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan Jepang. Dalam menjalankan perannya, Nano Create menerapkan Total Quality Management (TQM) guna memastikan mutu layanan dan kepuasan konsumen. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna TQM bagi PT Nano Create Company terletak pada perbaikan berkelanjutan, pengembangan SDM berkualitas, dan pemanfaatan teknologi untuk meningkatkan mutu layanan. Dalam hal kepuasan konsumen, TQM diterapkan melalui evaluasi rutin, adaptasi sistem rekrutmen dan pelatihan, serta penanganan keluhan yang responsif. Strategi mempertahankan TQM dilakukan dengan pelatihan intensif, evaluasi berkala, dan transparansi kerja, yang terbukti mampu menjaga kualitas tenaga kerja dan memperkuat hubungan jangka panjang dengan klien.

Abstract

An ongoing issue in the majority of schools is the lack of enthusiasm among students for Arabic classes. The purpose of this research is to identify effective strategies for piquing students' interest in Arabic language acquisition through the creation of genre-based pedagogical resources informed by the works of Kediri ulama. There are 60 Students from Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Gunung Jati who were divided into two groups for the study: one group was given a pre-test and the other group was given an experimental assignment. The study used a quasi-experimental approach. Product Moment Correlation, Cronbach's Alpha, Levene's test, Shapiro-Wilk test, and Independent Sample T-test were used to assess the quantitative data that was collected from a learning motivation questionnaire. Students' intrinsic motivation to learn Arabic was significantly higher in the experimental group compared to the control group after the development and implementation of genre-based instructional materials. To ensure that instructional materials are relevant and practical in madrasah education, the study stresses the importance of collaboration among historians, educators, and professionals in the Arabic language.

Abstract

This study examines the management of Zakat, Infak, and Sedekah (ZIS) funds for community empowerment at Lazismu Tanah Bumbu through a descriptive qualitative approach. The research specifically investigates the implementation of four core management functions, planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling, in the institution’s ZIS fund management practices. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews, institutional documentation, and a review of relevant literature. The analytical process employed data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to capture the practical application of these management functions within the organizational context. The findings reveal that Lazismu Tanah Bumbu has applied the four management functions in a reasonably effective manner. Planning is conducted periodically, guided by the organization’s flagship programs. The organizational structure is well-aligned to support efficient program implementation. Fundraising and distribution activities are carried out with a strong emphasis on transparency and accountability, while oversight is ensured by the Sharia Supervisory Board. However, the study also identifies the need for more robust fundraising strategies to address the observed decline in infak and sedekah contributions, as well as to expand the coverage and impact of the institution’s beneficiary programs. This research contributes to the discourse on faith-based philanthropic management by highlighting best practices and areas for improvement in the operationalization of ZIS fund management for sustainable community empowerment. Abstract

Implementing occupational health and safety in a good working environment creates a safe, comfortable and accident-free workplace. The concept of occupational health and safety ensures every employee a safe and positive working environment, but this idea is not yet fully understood by management and staff. This research aims to assess how occupational safety and health, working environment conditions and employee satisfaction influence performance This study uses partial least squares analysis and combines external and internal model evaluations, drawing on a group of 97 participants. The results show that job security and work environment have an impact on performance. Although job security and working conditions affect performance, job satisfaction does not. In contrast, both job security and work environment have an indirect impact on performance via job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to map the academic research landscape on QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) from 2019 to 2025, identifying key themes, trends, and factors influencing its adoption and implementation in Indonesia. A bibliometric and content analysis was conducted on 35 Scopus-indexed articles using VOSviewer. The study focused on co-occurrence mapping and thematic clustering to identify dominant research areas.The analysis revealed six major research clusters: QRIS adoption, payment system, perceived impact, behavioral use, innovation in tourism, and user acceptance. The findings show that although the number of studies is still limited, interest in QRIS research is growing steadily, particularly in its role within MSMEs and tourism sectors. Key drivers include perceived usefulness, ease of use, trust, and technological readiness, often analyzed through TAM, UTAUT, and TRAM frameworks. This research highlights the critical need for digital literacy, infrastructure development, and supportive policy to ensure inclusive and sustainable adoption of QRIS. It also underscores the importance of interdisciplinary research efforts and academic contributions in shaping the future of QRIS and Indonesia’s digital payment transformation.
