Abstract

Corona virus disease or COVID-19 is a large family of viruses that can cause disease in animals or humans. In humans, covid is known to cause respiratory infections ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory However, public awareness in DFesa Batu Kede, Masalle District, Enrekang Regency is still very low to implement health protocols to avoid the spread of the corona virus. Therefore, an understanding of the health protocol for handling COVID-19 is needed. Then the authors carry out community service through Real Work Lectures (KKN) STIK Makassar COVID-19 response which is implemented using methods to support public safety against COVID-19. Like making banners about health protocols, teaching elementary school children in CPTS practice, building hand washing posts, distributing masks to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19, and Making Toga, hopefully with this program the community can comply with health protocols.Syndrome (SARS). As a result of this activity, I managed to distribute 50 masks to vulnerable people, put up health protocol banners around residents' houses, built hand washing posts around Batu Kede Village, educated CPTS, and invited the community to make toga by applying health. protocol.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of teacher questioning strategies in English classroom interaction at SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. This study applied a qualitative descriptive research design. The data were collected through classroom observation using video and audio recordings during the teaching and learning process. The data were analyzed based on the questioning strategies proposed by Wu (1993), namely rephrasing, simplification, repetition, decomposition, and probing. The findings showed that the teacher implemented all five questioning strategies during classroom interaction. Among the five strategies, decomposition became the most dominant strategy with 24 occurrences (28.2%), followed by probing with 20 occurrences (23.6%), rephrasing with 15 occurrences (17.6%), simplification with 14 occurrences (16.5%), and repetition with 12 occurrences (14.1%). The implementation of questioning strategies helped students understand the lesson more easily, encouraged students’ participation, and maintained classroom interaction during the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the difficulties experienced by EFL English Language and Literature students in taking the EnglishScore test and to explore the strategies they used to overcome those difficulties. This study employed a descriptive qualitative research design involving 45 students from the English Language and Literature Department who had previously taken the EnglishScore test. The data were collected through an open-ended questionnaire distributed online. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis by categorizing students’ difficulties based on Chapelle and Douglas’ theory of digital language assessment and students’ strategies based on Oxford’s Language Learning Strategies theory. The findings revealed that listening comprehension difficulties became the most dominant difficulty with a frequency of 29 responses, particularly related to fast speech and unfamiliar accents. Meanwhile, cognitive strategies became the most frequently used strategies with 26 responses, especially practicing listening exercises and identifying keywords. Overall, the findings showed that students relied on various learning strategies to complete the EnglishScore test more effectively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung antara Budidaya Ikan Lele dengan Perilaku Produsen melalui BUMDES Desa Karang Binangun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan korelasional. Dalam penelitian ini yang dijadikan sebagai sampel sebanyak 30 orang produsen (Petani) yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menyebarkan koesioner. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Karang Binangun II Kecamatan Belitang Madang Raya Kota Palembang Sum-Sel. Berdasarkan pada uji hipotesis yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat diuraikan temuan penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) Budidaya Ikan Lele berpengaruh terhadap perubahan perilaku produsen guna peningkatan perekonomian, (2) Metode produsen (petani) cenderung berubah akibat perubahan lingkungan pemasaran, (4) Tidak ada perubahan yang signifikan pada metode produsen (petani) budidaya ikan lele dalam menyikapi perubahan naik turun harga. Implikasi dari penelitan ini adalah upaya dalam menstabilkan produtivitas produsen (petani) Budidaya Ikan Lele.

Abstract

Saat ini cabai sedang naik daun, karena cabai juga menjadi salah satu pangan  pokok sejuta umat. Tersedianya pangan yang cukup secara nasional maupun wilayah merupakan suatu keharusan untuk mewujudkan ketahanan pangan nasional, namun hal itu tidak cukup karena kabutuhan pangan di tingkat rumah tangga/individu harus terpenuhi juga. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan dan gizi di tingkat rumah tangga/individu dapat dilakukan melalui pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan yang dikelola oleh seluruh anggota masyarakat. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Karang Binangun II adalah salah satu bentuk kepedulian STIT Misbahul Ulum terhadap masyarakat, khususnya para petani wanita. Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) merupakan wadah untuk para petani wanita atau ibu-ibu yang memiliki keinginan untuk menambah kesejahteraan ekonomi kegiatan bertani melalui kelompok. Kegiatan pengabdian pelatihan memanfaatkan limbah dapur memberikan kesempatan dari tim pengabdian mengadakan sosialisasi dan ajakan untuk mengembangkan potensi melalui berbagai kegiatan ibu-ibu petani yaitu pembentukan Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT). KWT dibentuk sebagai upaya pelibatan wanita tani dan ibu-ibu secara langsung dalam usaha-usaha peningkatan hasil pertanian. Hasil pelatihan terlihat pada meningkatnya pengetahuan ibu-ibu tentang bagaimana melestarikan lingkungan dengan memanfaatkan limbah dapur untuk berbagai jenis tanaman salah satunya cabai, sehingga nanti diharapkan akan trampil dalam pengolahan lahan baik memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan (kebun) maupun media tanam polybag, mampu membuat penyemaian, menanam dan memelihara tanaman. Peserta pelatihan sudah merasakan adanya peningkatan pendapatan karena hasil panen periode pertama berhasil dijual. Dan tanpa banyak mengeluarkan biaya untuk biaya pemupukan.

Abstract

Gangguan kapasitas vital paru (KVP) berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi karena faktor lingkungan kerja, masa kerja, waktu kerja dan perilaku pekerja terhadap pelaksanaan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja, sehingga perlu untuk diteliti hubungan faktor tersebut. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemakaian masker, masa kerja, waktu kerja terhadap KVP. Desain penelitian kuantitatif Cross Sectional, sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling didapatkan sampel sebesar 31 responden, pengambilan data dengan pengukuran menggunakan alat spiro analyser ST-75 maupun kuisioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan fisher exact test (a=0,05). Hasil penelitian diketahui pekerja yang memiliki Kapasitas Vital paru (KVP) tidak normal sebanyak 19 responden (61,3%) paling banyak terjadi pada usia lansia awal 35%, dengan masa kerja pada kategori ? 5 tahun sejumlah 48,4%, jam kerja >40 jam/minggu sejumlah 51,6%, serta mengenakan masker sebanyak 41,9%. Uji bivariat pada variabel masa kerja, jam kerja, dan pemakian masker terhadap KVP bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara masa kerja, jam kerja, dan pemakaian masker terhadap KVP (p-value >0,05). Pekerja diharapkan tetap mengenakan masker, penelitian lanjutan dapat dilakukan dengan mengukur faktor lingkungan kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to describe in depth the digital marketing strategy implemented by MAN 1 OKU Timur in an effort to improve school branding as a competitive educational institution. The background of this study departs from the development of information technology that requires schools to be adaptive to digital transformation, especially in the field of promotion and publication, so that they can build a positive image in the community. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, where data is collected through purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques to obtain information from relevant sources. Data collection techniques include observation of school activities, in-depth interviews with related parties such as the principal, teachers, staff, students, and the community, as well as documentation studies in the form of archives, photos, and school digital content. Data analysis is carried out through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, while the validity of the data is checked by the method of source triangulation and method triangulation. as a means of school promotion, but also as a form of providing identity and strengthening the positive image of the school in the eyes of the community. The results of the study conducted at MAN 1 OKU Timur show that the digital marketing strategy in improving school branding has been implemented well, this is indicated by the management carried out by the school. Several digital marketing strategies of MAN 1 OKU Timur are: a) Website, b) Instagram, c) Facebook, d) Tiktok, e) Youtube. The implementation of these digital marketing strategies is supported by various factors, both inhibiting and supporting factors. Inhibiting factors include limited school budget, lack of human resources who master digital technology, low understanding of some teachers and students regarding digital literacy, and lack of student involvement in the media management process. Meanwhile, supporting factors consist of the quality of professional educators and education staff, the availability of supporting facilities and infrastructure, and the support and participation of the community who entrust their children's education to the school. Overall, this study concludes that digital marketing strategies can have a positive impact on improving the school branding of MAN 1 OKU Timur. This is reflected in the increasing recognition of the school in the community, the increasing positive image of the school, and the involvement of various parties in supporting the publication of activities and achievements. Thus, digital marketing is not only a promotional medium, but also an important instrument in building the reputation and competitiveness of schools in the modern era. The results of this study found that digital marketing strategies have a positive impact on improving the school branding of MAN 1 OKU Timur.

Abstract

This article examines the relationship between Persian literary memory and the formation of the narrative of modern Iranian resistance amid global geopolitical pressures. So far, Iran's resilience has more often been explained through military factors, state ideology, and geopolitical strategy, while the cultural-civilizational dimension has received relatively little attention in contemporary Iranian studies. This study seeks to answer the question of how the Persian literary tradition, especially Ferdowsi's Shahnameh epic, contributes to the formation of the collective identity and psychological resilience of modern Iranian society. This study uses a historical-interpretive approach to understand the relationship between the classical Persian literary tradition and the formation of modern Iranian political identity. The results show that Shahnameh serves not only as a classic post-Islamic literary work, but also as a symbolic archive that reproduces the values of heroism, dignity, sacrifice, and resistance in the contemporary Iranian political imagination. The study also shows that the resilience of modern Iran was formed through the interaction between the memory of Persian civilization and Shia political theology. This article contributes to the development of the study of cultural geopolitics and civilizational resilience in contemporary Middle East studies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the animal welfare index for horses sold at the Horse Market in Jeneponto Regency. A mixed methods approach was used, combining quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data were obtained through observations of 100 horses using the Five Freedoms principle, assessed on a scale of 1-5, while qualitative data were collected through interviews with traders, buyers, and market managers. Data were analyzed descriptively by calculating the animal welfare index based on the average score of all observed indicators. The results showed that the horse animal welfare index was 2.16, which is considered adequate. The highest score was for freedom from pain/injury/disease (3.56), categorized as good, while the lowest score was for freedom from hunger and thirst (1.00), categorized as poor. Freedom from discomfort (1.73) and freedom to express natural behavior (2.00) were also considered low, while freedom from stress was considered adequate (2.50). The low implementation of animal welfare is influenced by limited market facilities, high livestock density, unhygienic environmental conditions, and market participants' poor understanding of animal welfare principles. This study shows that the implementation of animal welfare in horse trading in traditional horse markets is still not optimal, so that improvements in facilities, improved market management, and education related to animal welfare for all market players are needed to support a more sustainable and ethical livestock trading system.
