Abstract

Inheritance law is the law that regulates the transfer of ownership rights over the inheritance of the heir, then determines who is entitled to become the heir and how much is each part. Regarding the inheritance rights of non-Muslims, the Compilation of Islamic Law refers more to the opinions of scholars who assert that there are religious differences between heirs with heirs that become a barrier to inheritance. In terms of determining the distribution of heirs of different religions, the Religious Courts play a role in upholding justice, truth, order, and legal certainty regarding Islamic civil cases. In 2021 the South Jakarta Religious Court issued stipulation number 890/Pdt..P/2021/PA.JS in which in this decision the South Jakarta Religious Court granted the request for determination of heirs and distribution of legal inheritance from parents who entered into an interfaith marriage with the initials ISW (hereinafter referred to as a first child) who is non-Muslim, and gets a mandatory will of 1/3 of S's inheritance and does not exceed this provision. The formulation of the problems in this research are: 1) What are the judges' considerations in granting the request for determination of heirs and distribution of inheritance in the South Jakarta Religious Court's Decision Number: 890/Pdt.P/2021/PA.JS? 2) How is the division of inheritance from interfaith marriages? This study uses a normative juridical method which is an approach through the practice of law enforcement against laws that are written and equipped with existing legal documents in Indonesia. The results of this study are 1) The basis for the judge's consideration in the Determination of the South Jakarta Religious Court Number: 890/Pdt.P/2021/PA.JS is based on applicable law and the facts revealed in the trial. 2) Distribution of inheritance from interfaith marriages to realize justice and benefit, namely non-Muslim heirs are entitled to inheritance in the form of a mandatory testament.

Abstract

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) remains a pervasive human rights violation globally and a critical barrier to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 5 on gender equality. In Indonesia, the high number of reported GBV cases underscores the urgent need for effective intervention strategies. This research examines the implementation of the Generation Gender (Gen-G) program initiated by Rutgers International in addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Indonesia during the 2023–2024 period. As a transnational advocacy initiative, the program seeks to promote gender justice through youth empowerment and the institutional strengthening of civil society organizations in Jakarta, Bandung, and Palu. Employing a qualitative descriptive method and grounded in Keck and Sikkink’s Transnational Advocacy Networks (TANs) theory, the research analyzes Rutgers’ strategic use of four key tactics: information politics, symbolic politics, leverage politics, and accountability politics. The findings reveal that Rutgers International has successfully established strategic advocacy networks with local actors such as Yayasan Gemilang Sehat Indonesia, Koalisi Perempuan Indonesia, and LBH APIK, enabling a context-specific and inclusive response to GBV. Despite these advances, structural barriers, deeply rooted patriarchal norms, and limited policy support remain significant challenges to full program effectiveness. This study underscores the critical role of transnational networks and multi-sectoral collaboration in advancing gender-sensitive policy reform and social transformation. Furthermore, it contributes to the broader discourse in international relations by highlighting the strategic influence of non-state actors in the diffusion of global gender norms at the local level.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a key catalyst in enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Alongside technological advancement, digital platforms serve not only as tools for increasing revenue but also as effective media for Islamic da'wah by embedding religious values within business practices. This study aims to analyze digital platform optimization strategies that support MSME economic growth while exploring the integration of Islamic da'wah values within the context of business digitalization. A qualitative approach was employed using a systematic literature review of 45 academic publications and official reports published between 2020 and 2024. The findings indicate that 88.37% of MSMEs that adopted digital platforms experienced increased revenue, with 66.28% reporting gains of up to 50%. The most widely used platforms include Shopee (50%), Facebook Marketplace (33.46%), and Instagram Shop (28.74%). Identified optimization strategies include dynamic pricing, personalized services driven by artificial intelligence, integration of digital payment systems, and the use of data analytics. Additionally, embedding da'wah content—such as product narratives emphasizing honesty, blessings (barakah), and social responsibility—contributes to building an ethical and trustworthy business image. Key challenges include low levels of digital literacy, infrastructure disparities, and limited promotional resources. This study contributes theoretically by formulating a conceptual framework for platform optimization rooted in Islamic values and offers practical recommendations for MSME actors and policymakers to develop a competitive and ethical digital ecosystem.

Abstract

Nagari Aia Batumbuak, known as a cold, snow-free village, has a geographically suitable environment for cultivating various types of horticultural crops. These conditions are also excellent for the growth of various types of flowers. However, flower cultivation has so far been limited to hobbies and personal collections. Therefore, it has great potential to be developed into a new tourist destination to increase community income. One type of flower that can be used is the sunflower, which has wide adaptation to various conditions. The purpose of this activity is to develop a new tourist destination based on a sunflower garden in Nagari Aie Batumbuak Solok. The implementation of this activity will be integrated with the activities of the 2025 Regular KKN II students using socialization methods and direct field practice. The results obtained from the implementation of this activity are the availability of a location to be used for the development of a flower garden based on a site survey before the activity. The next activity will be a socialization of the potential for developing a flower garden in Nagari Aie Batumbuak and its potential to be used as a new tourist destination. The existing location is then designed according to the land conditions, then the placement of each element such as the location of beds, ditches, paths, and gazebos is arranged. Abstract
