Abstract

PT. Batarasura Mulia adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang manufaktur. Perusahaan ini memproduksi berbagai macam jenis filter (penyaring) yang biasa digunakan didalam sebuah kendaraan bermotor seperti Fuel Filter, Oil Filter, dan Air Filter. Permasalahan yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah belum adanya sistem yang dapat mencatat pemesanan pelanggan dan mencatat pembiayaan pembelian bahan baku. PT. Batarasura Mulia masih menggunakan sistem yang manual. Perusahaan ini melakukan proses pembelian material dengan memperkirakan jumlah unit material berdasarkan jumlah unit material yang tersedia di gudang tanpa adanya proses perhitungan pembelian material terlebih dahulu. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan terjadinya keterlambatan proses produksi karena perusahan harus membeli sisa jumlah unit material yang kurang yang berada di gudang. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah merancang suatu sistem pendukung keputusan untuk pengendalian persediaan bahan baku yang dapat memberikan perhitungan berupa jumlah unit material yang dibutuhkan dan frekuensi pemesanan materialnya dengan menggunakan metode perhitungan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dan Period Order Quantity (POQ) serta menentukan metode yang terbaik yang akan digunakan berdasarkan biaya persediaan paling minimum. Perancangan sistem pendukung keputusan dimulai dengan melakukan analisis sistem yang sedang terjadi dengan menggunakan kerangka analisis PIECES (Performance, Information, Economics, Control, Efficiency, Services). Analisis dilakukan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan dari pengguna sistem. Kemudian langkah selanjutnya adalah melakukan perancangan komponen pengelolaan data dengan membuat diagram konteks, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), dan Physical Data Model (PDM). Perancangan sistem selanjutnya adalah merancang komponen pengelolaan model. Model yang digunakan dalam perancangan sistem pendukung keputusan adalah EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) dan POQ (Period Order Quantity). Perhitungan menggunakan model EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) dan POQ (Period Order Quantity) menghasilkan perhitungan jumlah unit pemesanan material yang dibutuhkan dan menghasilkan frekuensi pemesanannya. Langkah terakhir adalah perancangan user interface dengan menggunakan bahasa pemograman PHP. Hasil dari perancangan sistem pendukung keputusan menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat memberikan perhitungan jumlah unit pemesanan material yang dibutuhkan dan frekuensi pemesanan setiap material berdasarkan model EOQ dan POQ serta dapat menentukan metode yang terbaik berdasarkan biaya persediaan yang paling minimum. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah untuk model EOQ biaya total untuk seluruh bahan baku sebesar Rp257.333.000 dan untuk model POQ biaya total untuk seluruh bahan baku sebesar Rp132.756.200. Perancangan sistem pendukung keputusan ini ditujukan kepada departemen purchasing dan departemen inventory.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang sering dihadapi perusahaan adalah terjadinya keterlambatan kedatangan bahan baku dan kualitas bahan baku yang tidak memenuhi standar perusahaan, sehingga perlu dilakukan pengembalian atau pemesanan ulang kepada supplier baru, yang menyebabkan bertambahnya waktu yang dibutuhkan dalam proses pengadaan bahan baku. Selain itu sering dijumpai tidak adanya sistem yang terintegrasi dalam penyimpanan data yang berhubungan dengan proses pengadaan bahan baku, seperti data supplier, dan data bahan baku. Kurang efektifnya sistem pengadaan bahan baku saat ini, dikarenakan pemilihan supplier yang masih secara subjektif. Tujuan dari makalah ini adalah merancang sistem pendukung keputusan untuk usulan pemilihan alternatif supplier secara objektif sehingga dapat mengintegrasikan sistem persediaan dan sistem produksi. Perancangan sistem ini mengambil studi kasus di PT. Sucaco Tbk. Perancangan sistem pendukung keputusan dimulai dengan menganalisasi kekurangan sistem saat ini dengan menggunakan kerangka PIECES, membuat matriks masalah, sebab, akibat, dan tujuan perbaikan sistem, dan mengamati aliran dokumen dari sistem pengadaan bahan baku saat ini. Selain itu, analisa dilakukan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan dari pengguna sistem. Setelah melakukan analisa, tahapan perancangan sistem selanjutnya adalah merancang komponen data management dengan membuat diagram konteks, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), Physical Data Model (PDM), dan Data Dictionary (Kamus Data). Selanjutnya adalah pembuatan database dengan menggunakan MySQL berdasarkan komponen data management. Perancangan sistem selanjutnya adalah merancang komponen model management. Model yang digunakan dalam perancangan sistem pendukung keputusan adalah Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Perhitungan menggunakan model AHP menghasilkan urutan supplier terbaik yang kemudian digunakan untuk mempertimbangkan supplier yang akan dipilih dalam pembelian bahan baku. Tahap terakhir adalah perancangan komponen dialogue management atau user interface menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic. Hasil dari  perancangan sistem pendukung keputusan menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat menentukan supplier terbaik. Selain itu, sistem pendukung keputusan yang dirancang memiliki sistem database yang terorganisir dan terintegrasi dalam penyimpanan data yang berkaitan dengan pengadaan bahan baku, seperti data supplier, data bahan baku, data purchase order, dan data sample bahan baku, sehingga sistem memudahkan pendistribusian data antar departemen. Abstract

PT. Argha Prima Karya Industry is a company engaged in the field of flexible packaging. Problems found on the production floor of PT. Argha Karya Prima Industry is a delay in production time due to the engine distance that is too far and the availability of material handling is lacking. The product studied in this study is polyester plastic film with a production capacity of 1 unit within 11 hours equivalent to 2 days, while the production target set is 1 unit within 8 hours equivalent to 1 day. Layout the initial model of PT. Argha Karya Prima Industry was analyzed by simulation using ProModel software. Then after the initial layout was declared valid, improvements were made to the problems of the production floor layout using the Systematic Layout Planning method. From this method, two alternative layouts are obtained. The difference from the two proposed layouts is in the initial model, the slitter unwinder machine adjacent to the waste trimming area, while in the proposed layout 1, the slitter unwinder machine is located adjacent to the temporary storage rack. Then in the proposed layout 2, the slitter rewinder machine is adjacent to the finishing good area, while in the initial layout, the rewinder machine is adjacent to the temporary storage rack.

Abstract

PT. Springville Indonesia is a company engaged in the mattress industry. The product produced is a mattress with two types,namely the type of bed and latex. The main raw material is foam. Problems found in the raw material warehouse of PT. SpringvilleIndonesia is a system of laying out raw materials that are less organized so that it causes operators difficulty in taking raw materialswhich causes the time to take raw materials to experience delays in the process of sending raw materials to the production floor. Thisproblem is caused by the layout of the raw material warehouse which is not good and the raw material has not been neatly arrangedand there is no alley (the path used for the process of receiving and retrieving raw materials). The purpose of this study is to design asimulation model of improvement in raw material warehouse layout to minimize the time taken for raw materials.Evaluate the initial layout of the raw material warehouse using a checksheet. From the checksheet, it was continued by designing theinitial raw material warehouse layout. then designed the initial raw material warehouse layout simulation model. After the initialwarehouse layout of raw materials was declared valid, repairs were made to the raw material warehouse layout problems by changingthe warehouse layout of the raw materials so that there was an alley for the raw material collection and receiving path. Using thededicated storage method as a proposal for the raw material warehouse layout which is then verified and validated. The raw materialin the form of foam must be placed in the front so that the operator is easy to pay attention to the condition of the foam. This causesfoam raw materials not to be included in the calculation of dedicated storage.

Abstract

Problems at PT. Hyundai Indonesia Motor occurs in the warehouse of raw materials for local parts, Thailand parts, andbulky & trim areas where laying raw materials is not regular, does not fit shelves or pallets and there is no layout for laying rawmaterials on the shelves, so operators have difficulty finding raw materials to be processed and cause the time to extract raw materialsis greater and there is a delay in the delivery of raw materials to the production line. The purpose of this study was to design a simulationmodel for improving the warehouse layout of raw materials to minimize the time taken to take raw materials to the production line.The first step in evaluating the raw material warehouse layout at PT. Hyundai Indonesia Motor is by using a checksheet and a map ofthe process of extracting raw materials used to determine the condition of the warehouse of raw materials and the process of extractingraw materials. Next, make improvements to the raw material warehouse layout using the shared storage method. The first threeproposals proposed using the initial layout with the addition of material handling in the local area, the second proposal using the sharedstorage method, the third proposal using the shared storage method with the addition of material handling in the local area, thenselecting the proposal using the benferroni method and using the check sheet evaluation results so that the best proposal is obtained,namely in the third proposal with the fastest simulation time, namely the average simulation time of 63.47 hours. Compared with theinitial simulation which has a simulation time of 125.14 hours, in the third proposal there is a minimum time so that the time differenceis 61.7 hours for the initial simulation.

Abstract

PT. Jayatama Selaras is a manufacturer of plastic packaging in Indonesia. The problem faced by the company is the delay in the arrival of raw materials and the quality of raw materials that are not in accordance with the specifications provided by the company, so the process of returning or re-ordering needs to be carried out to new suppliers, which increases the time needed to procure raw materials. In addition, there is no integrated system in data storage that is related to the process of procuring raw materials, such as supplier data, and raw material data. The purpose of this study is to design a decision support system in providing an objective selection of alternative suppliers for the Purchasing Department of PT. Jayatama Selaras. The design of a decision support system starts with analyzing the current system using the PIECES framework. Next is creating a database using MySQL based on data management components. The next system design is designing component management models. The model used in the design of decision support systems at PT. Jayatama Selaras is AHP and TOPSIS. The last stage is designing components of dialogue management or user interfaces using the Visual Basic programming language. The results of the decision support system design show that the system can determine the best alternative suppliers, for PVC and LDPE raw materials, for LDPE raw materials to produce alternative sequences of suppliers PT. Indo Thai Trading, PT. Itochu Indonesia, PT. Tempo Nagadi Trading, PT. Kharisma Karya Plast, PT. Akino Indonesia Trading, PT. Panca Budi Pratama and PT. Unipack Plasindo. In addition, a decision support system designed to produce a database of existing suppliers and facilitate the ordering of raw materials to suppliers. The design of this decision support system is addressed to the purchasing department, production department, quality control department, and accounting department.

Abstract

PT. Porter Superior Engineering is a manufacturing company engaged in transportation equipment. Production floor layout at PT. The Superior Engineering Porter has a work station that is not placed optimally so that the material transfer distance of the handling is far away. This affects the overall process of production, where the distance of material displacement that is not efficient affects the cost of using material handling and affects the overall production time. With the addition of the transfer time to the production carried out resulting in overload or excess production demand, so that the production target cannot be achieved in accordance with the number of orders caused by increased production time. Based on these problems, improvements are made using the Pairwise Exchange method for designing new layouts based on the minimum material handling costs and simulations as an evaluation of the proposed improvements to the new layout design. The first step in evaluating the production floor layout at PT. Superior Engineering Porters, namely by using Material Handling Check Lists and maps of the operation process. From the results of the Material Handling Check List and the map of the operating process, it is continued by designing the initial or actual production floor layout. Then design the initial production floor simulation model. After that, a verification and validation process was carried out on the design of the initial production floor simulation model. If valid, then improvements are made to the problems that exist in the production floor layout using the Pairwise Exchange method as a method to improve the existing layout based on the total minimum material transfer costs between departments. After repairs to the initial production floor layout with the results of the minimum material transfer costs, then proceed with the design of the proposed model simulation. There are three proposals on this problem. The first proposal uses the production floor layout with minimum displacement costs and the addition of material handling, the second proposal is to use the production floor layout with minimum displacement costs and the addition of machines, the third proposal is to use the production floor layout with minimum transfer costs and addition of material handling and number of machines, then selecting proposals using the bonferroni method and analysis of production so that the best proposals are obtained, namely in the second proposal with the results of units achieving production targets and minimum displacement costs 282, 61 hours and the production of 60 units in a month. Compared with the initial simulation which has a simulation time of 335.79 hours and the production of 50 units in a month.

Abstract

Braja Mukti Cakra (PT) is a company engaged in manufacturing that produces high-precision machined products, in the form of automotive components in Indonesia. Problems that occur at PT. Braja Mukti Cakra is in the warehouse of raw materials, where the laying of raw materials that are not optimal is due to the lack of naming and distribution of the types of raw materials on the shelves or pallets in the warehouse. This causes operators to have difficulty in finding raw materials to be sent to the production floor and causes the time to take raw materials to be long so that there will be delays in shipping to the production floor. The purpose of this study is to design a simulation model to improve the layout of the raw material warehouse from the storage area to the warehouse exit that can be used to evaluate the time taken for raw materials and the time of transfer of raw materials. In this study the first step is to evaluate the warehouse layout of raw materials using a checksheet to determine the condition of the current raw material warehouse and use a map of the raw material extraction process flow to determine the flow of the raw material extraction process. Next is the initial simulation model of raw material warehouse layout to understand the actual system. The model that has been built is then verified and validated. If the model is declared valid, improvements are made to existing problems by improving the warehouse layout of raw materials and the placement of existing raw materials using the shared storage method as a proposal for raw material warehouse layout. Standard raw placement, pay attention to raw materials that have the same purpose and are made into the same rack or pallet or located adjacent to the shelf or pallet to each other so as to get a shorter time in the shipping process. The number of proposed improvements in the raw material warehouse layout are 3 proposals. The first proposal is the addition of material handling, the second proposal uses the shared storage method and the third proposal uses shared storage methods and the addition of material handling. For the selection of the best proposals, the Benferonni method was used and used the results of the checksheet evaluation. The best proposal is the third proposal with the time of raw material collection and the transfer of raw materials to the warehouse exit which is equal to 71.18 hours. Compared with the initial simulation model which has the time to take raw materials and the transfer of raw materials to the warehouse exit of 122.23 hours. From this best proposal, it was obtained a time savings of 51.05 hours or 41.76%.

Abstract

An Examination is a way to represent one’s ability into a certain grade. That’s why, it is confidential. Only certain people have the autorization in accessing the document. The document needs to be protected whether it is saved in hardisk, external hardisk, usb flashdisk or ‘sent item’ in email. The protection can be done by transforming the document into a confidential document so it can’t be seen by others. The transformation is called encription. Otherwise, it is called decription for transforming document into inconfidential document.The AxCrypt Tool can be used to protect exam document by encripting and open the document by decripting using password and key-file. AxCrypt is usefull for protecting the exam document that is saved in public computer, sending the classified exam document using email interface, and making only certain coordinator and lecturer who is responsible for the document, can open dan read the document.

Abstract

The document is one of the outputs of an activity both individuals and organizations. With thepassage of time and the increasing activity of the resulting document will be many more. The resultingdocuments exist that are not confidential, but there is also a secret document in which those who do nothave the right authorization or permission is forbidden to access the document. The more secretdocuments to be protected, the more inefficient when any protected documents one by one. Hence theneed is being protected storage devices such documents, not the documents.TrueCrypt is a software that can be used to create an encrypted document storage device that canbe stored either in the hard disk or USB flash disk. Document storage device capacity can vary rangingfrom kilobytes (KB) to the units of gigabytes (GB). In addition, TrueCrypt can be mounted either on theMicrosoft Windows operating system, Mac OS X, and Linux. Encryption and decryption process fordocument storage devices will be done automatically before loading and storage process with no userintervention.
