Abstract

This study aims to analyze the brand equity strategy and perception of Tomoro Coffee Blimbing based on four main dimensions: brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, and brand loyalty. A descriptive qualitative approach was used through in-depth interviews with management, baristas, and customers. The data were then analyzed thematically through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that Tomoro Coffee's brand awareness is strongly formed through store expansion, social media activities, and a memorable slogan. Brand associations are perceived as modern, aesthetic, and closely related to youth lifestyles, although there is still a conflict between premium and economical images. Regarding quality perceptions, customers value consistent coffee taste and service, but perceived value is still influenced by promotions. Customer loyalty varies, with some indicating repeat visits due to quality, while others rely on promotions and situational needs. This study concludes that Tomoro Coffee's brand equity is quite strong, but needs to be strengthened with perceived value and fostering emotional loyalty. The implications of these findings can inform the development of marketing strategies and brand management in the increasingly competitive coffee shop industry.

Abstract

Innovation is the process of optimizing various resources to produce more efficient and sustainable solutions. This study aims to examine the relationship between resources and innovation strategies in supporting sustainable entrepreneurship through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. A total of 25 scientific articles were analyzed using PRISMA guidelines to examine the role of resources such as human, technological, information, financial, and physical resources in the context of product, process, and managerial innovation. The research findings indicate that the success of innovation is strongly influenced by the organization's ability to utilize and synergize its resources, especially in the development of internal capabilities such as tacit knowledge, research and development activities, and digital technology. Human resource creativity is the main driver of product innovation, while process innovation is strengthened by the application of technology and a learning culture. Managerial innovation is heavily influenced by entrepreneurial orientation and dynamic capabilities in responding to change. The implementation of sustainable innovation strategies such as green, digital, and social innovations also increases business competitiveness through cross-sector collaboration. This study emphasizes the importance of integrated resource management and innovative strategies to achieve sustainability, especially in the small and medium enterprise sector.

Abstract

Indonesia’s implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum necessitates that students not only achieve academic excellence but also possess the strong character embodied by the six dimensions of the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5). The effective strategy for achieving this goal is the integration of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) with local wisdom. This study aims to systematically review and synthesize existing research on Local Project-Based Learning Design in the Merdeka Curriculum to strengthen P5, particularly in formal education settings. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology, literature was selected from Google Scholar based on strict inclusion criteria from 2020–2025, resulting in the analysis of 7 relevant articles. The synthesis found that the application of local-based PjBL is highly adaptive across various educational levels, emphasizing contextual learning and direct involvement in community culture. This approach significantly contributes to strengthening P5 dimensions, especially Collaboration (Gotong Royong), Creativity, and Global Diversity (Kebhinekaan Global). The main supporting factor is the rich local culture, while the major obstacle is the varied competency of teachers in project management and authentic assessment. The findings confirm that Local Project-Based Learning serves as an ideal and visionary model for preparing Indonesian students who are characterized by Pancasila values, adaptive skills, and cultural roots. This SLR provides evidence-based guidance for formal education teachers in designing effective P5 projects.

Abstract

As a measure of business success, the performance of SMEs now faces challenges from rapid digitalisation and demands for more adaptive marketing strategies. This study aims to analyse the influence of digital transformation and marketing strategy on business performance, with business innovation as a mediating variable in tempe chip SMEs in Kampung Sanan, Malang City. The study uses a quantitative causality approach with an ex post facto explanatory method. The research population consists of 500 SMEs, with a sample of 245 SMEs selected purposively according to criteria. Data were collected through a 1–5 Likert scale questionnaire and analysed using Path Analysis with SmartPLS 4. The results show that digital transformation and marketing strategy have a positive and significant effect on business innovation and business performance. Business innovation also mediates the relationship between the two and business performance, although the mediation contribution is smaller than the direct effect. These findings confirm that the application of digital technology and adaptive marketing strategies, supported by innovation, can improve SME performance in a sustainable manner. The practical implication is that SMEs need to develop technology-based innovations, optimise social media, and formulate adaptive marketing strategies to strengthen their competitiveness.

Abstract

This conceptual article examines the foundational dimensions of entrepreneurship by integrating theoretical perspectives on entrepreneurial principles, character, and mindset within the context of modern economic and technological transformation. The study is motivated by the increasing relevance of entrepreneurship in fostering innovation, economic resilience, and social value creation. The objective of this research is to formulate a comprehensive theoretical understanding of how fundamental entrepreneurial concepts shape entrepreneurial readiness and behavior in contemporary environments. Using a literature review approach, data were collected from academic journals, scholarly books, and recent review articles relevant to entrepreneurial opportunity identification, business planning, innovation, value creation, psychological capital, and digital-era entrepreneurship. The analytical technique employed involved theory synthesis, conceptual comparison, and deductive conclusion-building based on the existing literature. The findings show that entrepreneurial principles—such as opportunity orientation, creativity, innovation, and value creation—provide a conceptual direction for entrepreneurial action. Entrepreneurial character, including resilience, self-management, optimism, adaptability, and proactive behavior, strengthens the psychological foundation needed to navigate uncertainty. Meanwhile, the entrepreneurial mindset emerges as a dynamic cognitive framework shaped through experience, iterative learning, and environmental stimuli, enabling individuals to interpret market changes as opportunities. In the modern era, digital technologies, globalization, and social entrepreneurship further expand the landscape of entrepreneurial practice. The study concludes that these three core components—principles, character, and mindset—form an interconnected framework essential for entrepreneurship development. Practically, the article highlights the importance of integrating experiential learning, technological literacy, and character-building approaches in entrepreneurship education. The study also acknowledges its limitation as a conceptual work and recommends future empirical research to validate the relationships among these entrepreneurial dimensions across diverse contexts.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the way organizations and individuals develop businesses, making Human Resource Management (HRM) strategies essential in shaping technology-based entrepreneurs. The gap between the demand and availability of digital talent, as reported by Startup Genome (2024) and Kominfo (2023), highlights that the development of technology entrepreneurs relies not only on individual abilities but also on HRM systems capable of building digital competencies and digital agility. This study aims to analyze the role of HRM strategies in strengthening the capacity of technology entrepreneurs, as well as identifying key elements such as digital HRM and digital competencies. The research method uses a literature review, analyzing international journals, industry reports, and relevant academic sources. The analysis was conducted through content analysis to build a conceptual model of HRM strategies. The results show that the implementation of digital HRM, such as e-HRM, HRIS, and HR analytics, can enhance an organization's digital capabilities, speed up talent recruitment, and improve training and competency management effectiveness. Furthermore, the development of digital competencies through training and mentoring has been proven to enhance innovative abilities and the readiness of technology entrepreneurs. This research contributes theoretically by integrating the RBV theory, digital HRM, and entrepreneurial competencies into a conceptual framework, and practically, it serves as a reference for designing digital talent development strategies and technology-based entrepreneurial ecosystems.
