Abstract

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of promotion on Islamic Bank product adoption among SMEs in the Kediri Residency region, employing a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to registered SME actors. The research reveals that while promotion does not directly positively impact product adoption decisions, it indirectly enhances Islamic Banks' image and customer trust, thereby increasing the likelihood of product adoption. By demonstrating the complex relationship between promotional strategies and SME decision-making, the study highlights the importance of comprehensive marketing approaches that focus on building institutional credibility and trust, rather than relying solely on traditional promotional techniques. The findings offer valuable insights for Islamic Banks seeking to expand their market presence and effectively engage with SME stakeholders in an increasingly competitive financial landscape.

The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), utilizing the Scopus database to identify and evaluate relevant articles related to SMEs performance. The main findings of this article indicate that SMEs performance is influenced by two factors, internal and external factors, such as innovation, leadership, financial stability, supply chain management, and government support. Additionally, there are research gaps, such as the need for further exploration of the impact of digital transformation, the role of social media marketing, social sustainability issues, and the interaction between internal and external factors. This article offers future research directions to strengthen SMEs competitiveness in an increasingly competitive and advanced digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate trends in publication and examine how SMEs use e-commerce for their sustainability in Asian countries. The systematic literature review (SLR) method was used to identify the phenomenon. After setting the inclusion and exclusion criteria, it was found that 26 articles will be analyzed using VOSviewer. The results show that 73 keywords are linked to each other, and they are categorized into three according to the mapping in VOSviewer. The themes we explored include the e-commerce adoption in SMEs that is beneficial for SMEs in Asia countries. E-commerce can become their competitive strategy, as well as reduce financial costs. Along with that, e-commerce can reach a broad audience for the product because it is easy to access. The next theme is the sustainability of SMEs through e-commerce and digitalization, which is found to have significantly impacted during and after the COVID-19 pandemic because of the shifting habit of online shopping. The last theme is SME digitalization, which uses not only e-commerce but also social media to do many things, such as communicating with the seller, offering the products, and even allowing consumers to order the product. Hence, it becomes an advantage for SMEs to adopt digitalization, especially using e-commerce and social media.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in driving economic growth. The micro businesses fostered by BAZNAS operate in several sectors, one of which is the culinary field. BAZNAS provides special assistance to micro-entrepreneurs to implement business management so that it can be well-organized. This research aims to understand the important role of business management in the development of micro-enterprises fostered by BAZNAS. The results of this study are expected to provide deeper insights into the role of business management in the development of micro-enterprises and to offer useful recommendations for BAZNAS and other institutions with similar programs. This research is a qualitative study using Miles and Huberman's analysis. The purposive sampling method was used when selecting informants. The informants in this study are eight micro enterprises. The aspects of company management provide guidelines for conducting business management. BAZNAS's micro-business actors in the culinary field have not yet maximally implemented these aspects, due to several factors such as low human resource quality and limited capital. The use of SWOT analysis should also be considered as a strategic tool for them to compete in markets beyond their region. The government and related institutions must give greater attention to micro-entrepreneurs as part of the people's economy, especially in terms of guidance and funding sources.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the acceptance and willingness of shallot seed entrepreneurs to use the SIAPIK application in recording digital financial reports. The SIAPIK application, developed by Bank Indonesia, aims to help MSMEs manage their finances more efficiently and transparently. This research adopts a willingness to change model, which includes indicators of attitudes, subjective norms, behavioral control, intentions, and behavior. Data was collected through interviews with six shallot seed entrepreneurs who actively run their businesses. The results of the SWOT analysis of the SIAPIK application show strengths in ease of use and the trust given by Bank Indonesia, but there are weaknesses in terms of training needs for users who are less familiar with technology. Interviews with entrepreneurs revealed positive intentions and attitudes towards the use of digital applications, although there were concerns regarding technical capabilities and the need for further training. The results of this research show that the SIAPIK application has the potential to be adopted by shallot seed entrepreneurs if accompanied by adequate education and technical support, as well as taking into account the growing digitalization opportunities among MSMEs.
