Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find the integration of Islamic values in mathematics learning in Islamic-based MTs/MPs. The Islamic values that are integrated include Islamic character values. The collection method uses literature review. Data collection techniques are carried out by collecting journals and reviewing related to the development of Learner Worksheets (LKPD) of mathematics subjects integrating Islamic values at the junior high school level, meaning that the research moves between one journal to another where each action is a step towards refining information. The results of this study found the integration of Islamic values in mathematics learning both at the level of devices and implementation of learning. In the implementation of learning, Islamic values are integrated in the material, through Islamization of mathematics (reconstructing mathematics from the context of Islamic values), Islamic mathematization (using mathematics to build awareness of Islamic values) and interconnection (functional relationship between mathematics and Islamic values). Abstract

Student character education is an education system that aims to instill certain character values in students in which there are components of knowledge, awareness or will, as well as actions to carry out these values, for this review, teachers are able to carry out quality learning in every learning activity is included in learning mathematics. Student character education can be developed in learning mathematics that is oriented towards moral values. This study aims to implement the role of character education in mathematics education that is oriented towards moral values. This study uses SLR (Systematic Literature Review) research, where the data source is obtained from existing articles published by OJS (Online Journal System). Articles obtained through Google searches were grouped and tabulated based on the similarity of results/conclusions in the article results. After being tabulated, further analysis was carried out and finally reduced and conclusions drawn. Based on research data, the results obtained regarding the implementation of character education in learning mathematics that are oriented to moral values find that: increasing moral values, developing moral values and creativity, building character, problem solving processes, arousing curiosity, mathematical developments, logical thinking, being able to improve learning achievement, character education improves student learning outcomes. Based on these findings, it is hoped that educators, especially mathematics teachers, will always implement character education in learning mathematics that is oriented towards moral values. Abstract

Mathematics is also in two positions, namely between the real world and the unseen world so that mathematics which does not exist in the real world has an abstract object and mathematics which is not in the unseen world so that the object is not an "appearance". Bringing objects in the language of mathematics from the real world is called abstraction and realizing mathematics in the real world is called application so that mathematics is abstract and in the language of symbols. Because mathematics exists in two worlds, namely the real (syahadah) and the unseen (ghaibiyah), mathematics is also both "half real and half unseen". To understand the real requires a rationalist, empirical and logical approach. Whereas to understand the unseen requires an intuitive, imaginative and metaphysical approach. According to Iwan (Ahmad septiana, 2022), library research or literature research is an effort by researchers to collect information that is relevant and related to the topic or question being studied. According to (abdussakir, 2017) there are four formulations of integration models offered, including: Mathematics from Al-Qur'an : Mathematics explored or developed in Al-Qur'anMathematics for Al-Qur'an : Mathematics is used to practice Al-Quran Mathematics to Al-Qur'an : Mathematics as a tool to Deepen and convey Al-Qur'an Mathematics with Al - Qur'an : Explaining mathematics in the perspective of Al - Qur'an Based on the literature study that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the set concept has a connection with the Al - Qur'an. This is proven by the discovery of verses in the Qur'an which explain the set, for example in Surah Al – Fathir verse 1, An – Nur verse 45, Al – Fatihah verse 7, Al – Kahf verse 12, Al - Waqi' ah verses 7-10, Al - An'am verses 128, Al – Kahf verses 28, Al – Bayyinah verses 7, At – Thaha verses 6, Al – Bayyinah 6, Al - 'Asr verses 1-3, Al – Kahf verses 50 and others. For this reason, in learning activities in the classroom the teacher is expected to be able to apply learning methods that can demonstrate the integration of the concept of set with the Qur'an to students so that the learning activities carried out do not only teach students mathematical concepts but also teach religious values to students. student. Abstract

Excellent schools are often juxtaposed with the quality of education organised by an educational institution (school). An excellent school is something that every school in Indonesia aspires to. Because by holding a Superior School, the school becomes the target of the surrounding community. This study aims to describe students' perceptions of the implementation of education organised by SDIT ATTIN. This type of research is survey research. The sample of this research is grade 4 to grade 6 students. The sample was taken randomly as many as 26 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The questionnaire was made by the researcher. The questionnaire uses a Likert scale. The Likert scale used is a Likert scale with intervals of 1-4. The weight of four indicates very good (SB), three for good (B), two for good enough (CB), and one for less good (KB). Furthermore, the data obtained from the questionnaire is processed to be the average value. The results of the percentage processing were then analysed and grouped into superior, good, good enough and less good criteria. Based on the research results obtained: (1) The quality of SDIT ATTIN graduates is very good or superior, (2) The quality of the learning process at SDIT ATTIN is also superior, (3) The quality of SDIT ATTIN teachers is good, and (4) the managerial quality of SDIT ATTIN is also superior. Thus SDIT ATTIN can be categorised as a superior school. Keywords: School excellence, student perceptions, Quality of Education, SDIT ATTIN

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the fields of study studied by students in Indonesia. This mathematics has been introduced from kindergarten to university level. Mathematics not only validates numbers, but also teaches humans about structured thinking patterns in solving problems. So this will have an impact on a person's character in their daily life. The aim of this research is to describe changes in student character in the context of mathematics learning that is integrated with Islamic values. Data on changes in student character was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 23 grade 8 students at SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Pua. The results of this research are that students' character can be said to be still not good, looking at the aspect of hard work reaching the highest level of 47.82% or 11 students, while the honest aspect shows the lowest level of 26.08% or only involving 6 students.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia not only aims to improve academic abilities but also to shape the character and morals of students in accordance with Islamic teachings, as the majority of the population. One relevant approach is the integration of Islamic values in subjects, including mathematics, to achieve holistic educational goals. At MAN 3 West Pasaman, this integration has been implemented with the hope of enriching mathematics learning with Islamic values that are relevant in everyday life. This research aims to explore teachers' perceptions of mathematics questions that are integrated with Islamic values at MAN 3 West Pasaman. Qualitative research methods with a case study approach were used to understand the views, experiences and understanding of teachers in implementing this approach. The subject of this research were two mathematics teachers at MAN 3 Pasaman Barat. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The research results show that the majority of mathematics teachers at MAN 3 West Pasaman welcome the integration of Islamic values in mathematics problems. They believe that this approach not only increases students' interest and motivation but also helps build their character in accordance with Islamic teachings. However, implementation faces challenges such as lack of resources and supporting teaching materials, limited training, and limited time in the curriculum. Recommendations from this research include the need to develop comprehensive training for teachers, provide relevant resources and teaching materials, as well as flexibility in the curriculum to support the integration of Islamic values without sacrificing required academic material. By understanding these perceptions and challenges, it is hoped that effective strategies can be developed to improve the quality of mathematics learning that focuses on students' cognitive, affective and spiritual aspects in accordance with Islamic values
