Abstract

The dominance of conventional pedagogical approaches that are textual and monodisciplinary in Social Sciences (IPS) learning often hinders the development of students' higher-order thinking skills in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics)-based digital learning model to improve Phase D students' critical thinking skills. This study applies the modified Borg & Gall Research and Development (R&D) method, including the stages of needs analysis, design planning, expert validation, and limited trials on grade VIII students. The results showed that the developed model met the criteria of very valid with an expert validation score reaching 92.6% and a practicality level of 88.4%. Quantitatively, the effectiveness of the model was proven significant through a t-test (p < 0.05) with an increase in the N-gain score of 0.67 which is classified as medium to high category, where the average critical thinking ability increased from 37.5% to 71.25%. The main conclusion of this study confirms that the integration of the STEAM transdisciplinary approach with digital technology is able to transform social studies learning to be more contextual, holistic, and adaptive, so it is recommended as a strategic solution in strengthening students' analytical and evaluative competencies according to the demands of the 21st century curriculum. ABSTRAK Dominasi pendekatan pedagogis konvensional yang bersifat tekstual dan monodisiplin dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) sering kali menghambat pengembangan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa di era revolusi industri 4.0. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model pembelajaran digital berbasis STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa Fase D. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode Research and Development (R&D) model Borg & Gall yang dimodifikasi, meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan desain, validasi ahli, serta uji coba terbatas pada siswa kelas VIII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dengan skor validasi ahli mencapai 92,6% dan tingkat kepraktisan 88,4%. Secara kuantitatif, efektivitas model terbukti signifikan melalui uji-t (p < 0,05) dengan peningkatan skor N-gain sebesar 0,67 yang tergolong kategori sedang hingga tinggi, di mana rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis meningkat dari 37,5% menjadi 71,25%. Kesimpulan utama studi ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi pendekatan transdisipliner STEAM dengan teknologi digital mampu mentransformasi pembelajaran IPS menjadi lebih kontekstual, holistik, dan adaptif, sehingga direkomendasikan sebagai solusi strategis dalam memperkuat kompetensi analitis dan evaluatif siswa sesuai tuntutan kurikulum abad ke-21.

Abstract

Integrating Islamic values into educational psychology is essential for fostering students’ character, emotional regulation, and learning motivation. This study aims to identify psychological principles in the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad relevant to education, analyze their contribution to student development, and develop an integrative conceptual framework for contemporary Islamic education. A qualitative conceptual-analytical approach was employed, combining thematic analysis of selected Hadith and relevant scholarly literature. The findings reveal that Hadith emphasize ethical modeling, emotional management, and intention-based motivation, which together form a coherent and holistic framework for student development. The study concludes that a Hadith-based educational psychology framework provides practical guidance for educators in designing learning strategies that strengthen character, stabilize emotions, and enhance intrinsic motivation, offering a valuable theoretical and practical contribution to the advancement of contemporary Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the fundamental concepts, principles, and implementation challenges of educational planning through a systematic literature review. Employing qualitative methods with a library research design, this study synthesized 25 academic sources, including journals, textbooks, and policy documents published within the last decade. The analysis reveals that educational planning encompasses systematic processes of needs analysis, goal formulation, priority setting, implementation, and evaluation. Three major approaches—social demand, manpower needs, and rate of return—emphasize equity, relevance, and efficiency, respectively. Four critical aspects (quantitative, qualitative, relevance, and efficiency) must be comprehensively integrated throughout the planning stages. The findings indicate substantial implementation challenges, including limited managerial capacity, insufficient data literacy, weak stakeholder participation, and resource constraints. School Work Plans (RKS/M) often remain administrative documents rather than strategic instruments for institutional improvement. Regional disparities in planning capacity further exacerbate educational inequity between urban and rural areas. Significant gaps persist between theoretical concepts and practical implementation, where planning becomes a mechanistic administrative task rather than a strategic management instrument. This study concludes that effective educational planning requires paradigm transformation toward participatory, evidence-based approaches supported by enhanced capacity building, systematic evaluation mechanisms, and synergistic coordination among central government, regional authorities, and educational institutions to ensure sustainable and equitable national education development.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an Android-based digital learning medium that integrates mobile technology into the Digital Systems course in the Computer Education Study Program at Dehasen University, Bengkulu. This study used the Research and Development (RD) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The study subjects consisted of 79 students taking the Digital Systems course. The research instruments included an expert validation sheet, a digital literacy test (pretest–posttest), and a student response questionnaire.The results showed that the developed learning medium received a validation score of 3.64 from the material expert and 3.66 from the media expert, both of which are considered very appropriate. The effectiveness test results showed an increase in students' digital literacy scores from 61.45 to 83.20, with an N-Gain of 0.56 (medium–high category) and a significance value of p 0.05. Student response to the medium was also very positive, with an average percentage of 85.4%.It can be concluded that the developed Android-based learning media is feasible and effective for improving students' digital literacy and supporting more interactive, flexible, and contextual learning. The results of this study contribute to the development of mobile technology-based learning models in higher education settings.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital berbasis Android yang mengintegrasikan teknologi mobile dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah Sistem Digital di Program Studi Pendidikan Komputer Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RD) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 79 mahasiswa yang menempuh mata kuliah Sistem Digital. Respon mahasiswa terhadap media juga sangat positif dengan persentase rata-rata 85,4%.Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Android yang dikembangkan layak dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital mahasiswa, serta mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, fleksibel, dan kontekstual. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan model pembelajaran berbasis teknologi mobile di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

This research and development (R&D) aims to produce and validate an early childhood education curriculum based on adaptation to greening for meaningful and effective coastal environmental resilience in instilling values of environmental awareness and disaster preparedness from an early age. Product validation, conducted by subject matter experts and early childhood education teachers, showed very feasible results with high scores for content validity (96%), design and components (93.33%), and feasibility (95%). These results indicate that the developed curriculum is valid, practical, and ready for implementation. This curriculum serves as a valuable educational tool for teachers and principals, helping them create learning processes that are relevant to the daily lives of children in coastal areas.Although this study proves the effectiveness of the curriculum as a valid and feasible medium of information, the limitations of the short implementation period restrict the observation of long-term impacts. Therefore, further research is recommended to be conducted over a longer period, with a wider geographical coverage, and considering activities such as class outings to evaluate the sustainable impact. Collaboration with relevant parties is also recommended to improve the scalability of this curriculum.

Abstract

This study assesses coal and overburden production efficacy for the mining sequence at Pit Rista, PT Dewa Sukses Mandiri, South Sumatra, during July and August 2025, and recommends operational enhancements to facilitate production objectives in the following months. The investigation was prompted by the inability to meet monthly production targets, as evidenced by insufficient effective working hours, excessive downtime, low equipment availability, and discrepancies between planned and actual mining progress. A quantitative evaluative method was employed utilizing primary data consisting of loading and hauling cycle durations, alongside secondary data such as production reports, working hours, downtime records, mine design, and mining sequence plans. The examination encompassed equipment productivity, job efficiency, match factor, physical availability (PA), use of availability (UA), Pareto analysis of downtime, and a comparison between planned and actual implementation of the mining sequence. The findings indicate that production deficits in July and August 2025 were mostly attributable to diminished effective working hours resulting from operational and mechanical delays, low PA and UA values, and discrepancies between the planned mining sequence and actual field execution. In July, the primary cause of lost time was the lack of hauling help, however in August, weather-related delays emerged as the principal limitation. These conditions impeded mining advancement and diminished overall output efficacy. In light of these findings, production optimization should prioritize enhancing mining sequence execution, reinforcing equipment maintenance and oversight, reconfiguring pit front and haul road geometry, and regulating haul road gradients to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.

Abstract

Teknik slashing merupakan salah satu metode fabric manipulation untuk menghasilkan tekstur dan visual baru pada kain. Namun, penggunaannya dalam busana bermotif tradisional, khususnya motif Kerawang Gayo Lues dari Aceh masih sangat terbatas. Motif tersebut pada umumnya diwujudkan melalui teknik bordir, sulam, atau printing. Teknik slashing berpotensi memberikan tampilan visual yang segar tanpa menghilangkan nilai-nilai budaya yang terkandung di dalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain busana ready to wear dengan menerapkan motif kerawang Gayo Lues menggunakan teknik slashing, menerapkan motif kerawang Gayo Lues menggunakan teknik slashing pada busana ready to wear, dan mengetahui pendapat informan terhadap kualitas produk busana ready to wear dengan penerapan motif kerawang Gayo Lues menggunakan teknik slashing. Penelitian menggunakan metode ekperimen terapan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan secara terstruktur melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menerapkan teknik purposive sampling, dengan subjek penelitian yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria tertentu meliputi 1 dosen dan 3 mahasiswa Tata Busana yang memahami teknik pembuatan Fabric manipulation, 1 orang kurator budaya etnis Gayo yang memiliki pemahaman tentang motifkerawang Gayo. Analisis data mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa (1) dua model busanaready to wearberhasil dikembangkan dengan penerapan motif kerawang Gayo Lues menggunakan teknikslashing(2) produk ini memiliki keunikan, nilai estetika tinggi, dan berhasil menonjolkan identitas visual motif kerawang Gayo Lues secara modern. Mayoritas informan menyatakan bahwa mereka lebih menyukai busana model 2. Preferensi ini didasarkan pada tampilan visual model tersebut yang dinilai lebih berwarna namun tetap mempertahankan keharmonisan desain. Selain itu, penerapan teknik slashing pada model 2 dianggap lebih presisi dibandingkan dengan model 1. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa model 2 lebih relevan dengan preferensi target audiens, khususnya kalangan muda yang menggemari gaya busana berkarakter tegas.Kata Kunci: Fabric Manipulation, Teknik Slashing, Kerawang Gayo Lues

Abstract

Kain tenun songket Aceh Besar merupakan salah satu warisan budaya Indonesia yang memiliki nilai-nilai budaya serta keindahan yang tinggi. Meskipun diakui sebagai warisan budaya tak benda oleh UNESCO, motif tradisional kain tenun songket Aceh Besar kurang dikenal di kalangan masyarakat, terutama generasi muda. Fenomena ini disebabkan karena busana siap pakai (ready to wear) dengan teknik digital printing yang terdapat dipasaran pada umumnya menggunakan motif-motif modern, sangat jarang ditemui yang menggunakan motif tradisional khususnya motif tenun songket Aceh Besar pada produk tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkankan motif kain tenun songket Aceh Besar pada busana ready to wear dengan menggunakan teknik digital printing dan mengetahui daya tarik informan terhadap produk yang dihasilkan serta mengetahui peluang untuk produk ini di pasaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen terapan sebagai bagian dari metode kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara, dan eksperimen terapan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dua produk pakaian ready to wear menggunakan desain motif geulima meupucok dan ireh halua dengan dua model dengan warna yang berbeda. Produk I berupa gamis berwarna biru dengan penerapan motif tenun songket Aceh Besar pada bagian lapisan depan yang bersambung dengan badan depan, dan produk II berupa kemeja wanita bewarna coklat dengan penerapan motif pada bagian badan depan. Diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan mengenai motif tradisional Aceh Besar menjadi inspirasi bagi desainer dan produsen untuk memanfaatkan motif-motif budaya lokal dalam busana siap pakai, serta ikut andil dalam pelestarian dan pengenalan kembali warisan budaya Indonesia.Kata Kunci: Motif tenun songket Aceh Besar, busana ready to wear, digital printing.

Abstract

This study is motivated by teaching practices that tend to be monotonous and lack variation in classroom management, which negatively affect student motivation and learning outcomes, particularly in the subject of Islamic Religious and Character Education (PAI and BP). The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) within the Merdeka Curriculum, analyze the learning outcomes achieved, and examine the influence of the PjBL model on the learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at SDN 02 Pariangan. The research method used was quantitative with a correlational approach, involving a sample of 29 students. The results of simple linear regression analysis show a positive and significant relationship between pre-test and post-test scores (R = 0.807; significance = 0.000). The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.651, indicating that 65.1% of the variation in students’ post-PjBL learning outcomes was influenced by their initial condition. In addition, the paired samples t-test showed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (mean difference = -3.966; significance = 0.000), with a significant increase in post-test scores. These findings demonstrate that the implementation of PjBL within the Merdeka Curriculum has a positive impact on improving students’ learning outcomes in PAI and BP. The conclusion of this study is that PjBL is effective in enhancing learning achievement, encouraging active engagement, and fostering deeper understanding of the subject matter. The implications of this study suggest the need to adopt contextual and collaborative learning models such as PjBL in PAI and BP instruction at the elementary school level.

Kemampuan penting yang harus dibangun adalah literasi sains, yang berhubungan dengan kehidupan nyata, dan bagaimana menggunakannya untuk membuat keputusan. Di sisi lain, murid dianggap memiliki literasi sains yang rendah, termasuk materi pewarisan sifat yang dianggap absrtak dan sulit dipahami. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model PjBL terintegrasi CRT mempengaruhi kemampuan literasi sains murid dalam materi pewarisan sifat. Penelitan ini melibatkan dua kelas, yang pertama adalah kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terintegrasi budaya, dan yang kedua adalah kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumend dalam penelitian ini yaitu soal tes literasi sains yang diberikan pada akhir pembelajaran (posttest) dimana disusun berdasarkan indikator literasi sains yang mencakup konsep, proses, sikap, dan konteks. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes literasi sains akhir dan diuji untuk normalitas, homogenitas, dan perbedaan dua kelompok. Untuk melakukan itu, analisis statistik nonparametrik digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berbeda secara signifikan. Hasil uji analisis Mann Whitney menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,001-lebih renda dari 0,005 yang menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Ini menunjukkn bahwa hipotesis penelitian diterima. Hasil dari penerapan model PjBL terintegrasi CRT menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang terintegrasi dengan budaya dapat membantu murid lebih memahami dunia sains.
