Abstract

Malnutrition in toddlers, notably underweight, remains a critical public health issue in Indonesia. According to the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey, the prevalence of underweight among toddlers has reached 15.9%. This condition has a significant impact on children's physical growth, cognitive development, and overall quality of life. This study aims to develop a predictive model for early detection of toddler nutritional status using three supervised machine learning algorithms: Decision Tree C4.5, K-Nearest Neighbor, and Naïve Bayes. The dataset consisted of 9,284 toddler records from Gorontalo Province, comprising eight attributes and one class label indicating nutritional status. Evaluation results showed that the Decision Tree C4.5 algorithm delivered the best performance with 98.56% accuracy. The K-Nearest Neighbor model achieved an accuracy of 97.99%, while the Naïve Bayes model obtained 96.96%. These findings demonstrate that machine learning can be an effective tool for identifying toddlers at risk of undernutrition early in their development. Beyond individual predictions, the proposed model represents a significant advancement in health informatics by providing a scalable decision-support system. This system can enhance the efficiency and precision of public health interventions, enabling faster, data-driven responses to combat malnutrition and improve child health outcomes across broader populations.

Abstract

Technology is an incredibly useful breakthrough in helping us with our daily activities, and one of them is the internet. The internet is a network system that covers the entire world through telecommunication channels such as telephone, radio links, satellites, and so on. Indeed, the internet provides significant benefits for education, research, business, and various aspects of life. However, behind these great benefits, the internet also has negative aspects. One of the negative impacts often associated with the internet is addiction or internet addiction. Internet addiction is a syndrome characterized by spending a considerable amount of time using the internet and being unable to control its usage when online. The side effects include anxiety, depression, declining physical health, declining mental health, and even disruption of daily activities. Internet addiction can be experienced by anyone and any institution, including Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Klopogodo, Gombong District, Kebumen. There are several efforts that can be made to reduce the negative impact and protect children from internet addiction, one of which is using the digital parenting method. Digital parenting is a method used to protect children from internet addiction by providing clear boundaries regarding what is allowed and what is not allowed when using digital devices and the internet. Digital parenting implemented at Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Klopogodo has had a significant positive impact. Teachers have felt the benefits of digital parenting, as it has made children more obedient in using their phones. Limiting phone usage, restricting applications, and controlling access to certain content have greatly helped parents in parenting.

Abstract

The development of electricity at Tanjungpura University, especially in the Faculty of Engineering, is very rapid in line with the development of new buildings and facilities in the campus environment which require a large electricity supply. The increasing use of electrical energy on the user side results in inappropriate loading. If this situation persists for a long time it will result in overload. For this reason, the researchers planned a centralized transformer based on minimal voltage drops and ideal transformer loading which refers to SPLN 72.1987. Determining the optimal location of this transformer uses literature study methods, field observations and descriptive analytics. In determining the location of a centralized transformer, several calculations are carried out, namely full load current calculation, distribution transformer loading calculation, manual voltage drop calculation and voltage drop simulation, transformer capacity calculation, voltage drop analysis over network area, voltage drop condition over network area, transformer layout calculation. , and calculate the type of cable to be used. By carrying out this study to determine the optimal location of the transformer, based on calculations and analysis, it can be determined that the ideal transformer capacity is 3000 kVA (3000000 VA), the loading results are 19,7%, the voltage drop is 0.44%, and the cable cross-sectional area is 150 mm2.
