Abstract

Batik has become a cultural identity for Indonesian people. Madura Island also has cultural richness in the form of Madurese batik which is still preserved to this day, inseparable from the batik civilization of Tanjungbumi Village, Bangkalan Regency. This research is aim to identify the process of civilizing process of women's batik as the cultural capital of Madurese batik craftsmen in Tanjungbumi Village. This research conducted in Tanjungbumi Village in August 2023. The research method used qualitative research. Techniques through observation and interviews with purposive sampling. This research is very important and useful for stakeholders in formulating policies for developing the Madurese batik business in Tanjungbumi Village, Bangkalan Regency. The results of the study shows that the process of civilizing process of batik according to Norbert Elias can take place through two processes, namely psychogenesis and sociogenesis. First, psychogenesis can be understood through batik techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation by families. The philosophical meaning of batik as basic knowledge through the family is then internalized by batik makers in producing batik. The value of tenacity and patience inherent in women as part of the sociogenesis of batik making needs to be owned and produced repeatedly. Second, sociogenesis takes place as a reinforcement of the social construction that women are still synonymous with batik. Third, this civilization process will become cultural capital that can be maintained, including through the social institutions of the family, batik community and government through batik development training in Tanjungbumi Village, Bangkalan

Abstract

Kebijakan baru yang melakukan sekolah sehari penuh adalah kebijakan pendidikan tentang pembelajaran full day school. Untuk mengimbangi kemajuan pendidikan di negara-negara industri, pendidikan yang dinamis senantiasa melakukan modifikasi. Namun, untuk mengurangi kemungkinan terjadinya konflik, hal ini tentunya membutuhkan perencanaan yang matang. Keberadaan full day school menimbulkan kekhawatiran masyarakat karena dianggap akan melemahkan tatanan kebijakan yang sudah dijalankan. Tentunya persoalan ini akan berdampak pada bagaimana anak dan masyarakat diberdayakan. Dalam penerapan sistem full day school dan perumusan kebijakan pendidikan banyak menemukan masalah yang harus di evaluasi sehingga penerapan kebijakan ini dapat berjalan dengan baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak yang ditimbulkan dari kebijakan full day school. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur (kepustakaan), dimana data dikumpulkan melalui studi kepustakaan, dan hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kebijakan dan implementasi pendidikan yang berjalan seiringan, maka keduanya tidak dapat dipisahkan sehingga dapat memunculkan dampak terhadap anak dan warga sekolah.

Abstract

Sirah Nabawiyah is an existence that is targeted to be taught to children from an early age. This needs to be developed by instilling prophetic values, namely through the story of Sirah Nabawiyah. Especially for children at an early age who should be instilled and taught learning based on the Al-Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet. The aim of this research is to examine the instilling of prophetic values ​​in young children through the story of Sirah Nabawiyah. The research was conducted in a city in Palangka Raya, precisely in the province of Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection was obtained through observation, interviews and documents. The data analysis method uses the example of Miles, Huberman and Saldana which is carried out in three stages, namely data analysis by combining data, displaying data and drawing conclusions. The results of this research reveal that efforts to apply prophetic principles in childhood through the Sirah Nabawiyah story can contribute to the development of moral and religious values, language development, character formation and children's memory. The story of Sirah Nabawiyah for children is not only for knowing the story of Sirah Nabawiyah, but can increase children's love for the Prophet Muhammad SAW and learn about the Prophet's struggle in spreading the message of Islam, apart from that, children are also expected to be able to apply and emulate it in their daily lives.

Abstract

Loose parts media is media that can be moved, combined, redesigned, aligned, separated, and put together in various ways that can develop children’s creativity. The purpose of this study is to describe the creativity of children aged 5-6 years through loose parts media. The research subjects were 1 class teacher and 14 class B2 students. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques are through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, the available loose parts media components were natural materials, plastics, used packaging, glass and ceramics, threads and fabrics, and metals. The development of creativity in class B2 children through loose parts media has been good, covering several indicators. Namely: likes to explore the environment, likes to observe, and hold everything, has great curiosity, spontaneously expresses thoughts and feelings, likes to experiment and try new things, rarely feels bored, and has high imagination power.

Abstract

Background: DMF-T of adolescent grup is 1.9. This number can figure out still does not meet the RAN target for Dental and Oral Health Services in 2020, namely the DMF-T index of 4.1 for all ages and the DMF-T index of 1.26 in the 12 year age group. Objective: This study aims to determine the form of adolescent behavior in brushing teeth. Methods: This study was a literature review using the method of searching for articles that have passed the publication process in 4 academic publications and full text databases, namely Google Scholar, PubMed, Proquest, and DOAJ published in the last 5 years 2016-2020 which can be accessed in full text in pdf and formats. scholarly. Conclusion: Some teenagers brush their teeth twice a day, but there are still teenagers who have not perform brushing behavior with the recommended frequency of brushing teeth. Teens tend to brush their teeth at night. However, there are some teenagers who have not paid attention to the time of brushing their teeth properly. Most adolescents use a combination technique and some use vertical techniques and female adolescents abroad tend to use dental floss as a supporting tool for brushing their teeth.

Abstract

Background: Brushing teeth is one of the easiest things that can be done to maintain dental health. Brushing the wrong teeth continuously can lead to poor dental hygiene resulting in tooth decay such as dental caries (dental cavities) / calculus (tartar). Dental hygiene can be calculated by OHI-S which consists of the sum of DI (Debris Index) and CI (Calculus Index). High OHI-S can cause diseases that can damage tooth structure such as gingivitis. The problem of this research is the high percentage of OHI-S in PKK RT 7 Banyuajuh Village, Kamal District. Objective: This objective was to determine knowledge about brushing teeth among PKK RT 7 women, Banyuajuh Village, Kamal District, which included knowledge about the purpose of brushing teeth, knowledge about how to brush teeth, knowledge about the frequency and time of brushing teeth, and knowledge about the selection of toothpaste and toothbrush. Methods: This research is descriptive by involving 40 PKK RT 7 mothers as respondents. Data collection was obtained through a questionnaire. Results: The results showed that the knowledge of how to brush teeth in PKK RT 7, Banyuajuh Village, Kamal District was in the sufficient category.

Abstract

Abstract: An effective preventive measure for dental and oral diseases is brushing teeth, but toothbrushes can be a means of transmitting pathogenic microorganisms that cause systemic diseases and oral diseases. It is recommended to replace a toothbrush every 3 months so that bacteria does not accumulate, but the average Indonesian people replace it at least once every 10 months. Objective: To determine the use of chemical disinfectants and traditional disinfectants to reduce the number of microbes on toothbrushes. Methods: Literature review, articles obtained through the Google Scholar database (2016-2021) using PICOS as a determinant of inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. Results: The effective chemical disinfectants were 2% NaOCl, listerine, chlorhexidine gluconate, and povidone iodine, while the effective traditional disinfectants were vinegar with 5-8% glacial acetic acid, 1% vinegar, 38% white vinegar mixed with salt solution. 3.5%, 50% white vinegar solution, 38% white vinegar solution, garlic, lime juice, rosella flower decoction, neem, guava leaves, green tea leaves, papaya leaves, baking soda, salt, and black tea leaves. Conclusion: Chemical disinfectants that have been shown to reduce the number of bacteria on toothbrushes are NaOCl 2% and traditional disinfectants that have been shown to reduce the total number of microbes on toothbrushes are vinegar with 5-8% glacial acetic acid, and 1% vinegar and 38 white vinegar solution. % mixed with a 3.5% salt solution has been shown to reduce the total number of bacteria on the toothbrush. Abstract

Abstract: Brushing teeth properly and correctly is an important factor for maintaining oral health. The success of maintaining oral and dental health is also influenced by the pattern of brushing teeth. The pattern of brushing teeth includes the technique of brushing teeth, the time and frequency of brushing teeth. The problem in this study is poor oral and dental hygiene in elementary school children (46.4%). Dental and oral hygiene is an important factor for dental and oral health to be free from disease, therefore dental and oral hygiene must be maintained and maintained in order to create optimal health. Objective: Knowing the relationship of brushing patterns with dental and oral hygiene in elementary school children. Method:. Collecting data on brushing patterns by filling out a checklist on the observation sheet and interview sheet. Collecting dental and oral hygiene data using an examination sheet. Respondents in this study amounted to 110 students, who were taken by simple random sampling. The data analysis technique used was the Chi-square test. Results: The pattern of brushing teeth in the poor category is 89 respondents (80.9%), dental and oral hygiene is in the bad category, namely 51 respondents (46.4%). The results of the Chi-square test are P value 0.002.Conclusion: That there is a relationship between the pattern of brushing teeth with dental and oral hygiene in elementary school children.Keyword : Toothbrushing, Dental and Oral Hygiene, Elementary School Children

Abstract

Background : Burden countries toward Pulmonary TBC, one of them is Indonesia. Data of WHO shows that Indonesia, every years is found 580.000 the new sufferers of Pulmonary TBC and the number of death because of Pulmonary TBC reaches 140.000 per year. The large number of sickness placed Indonesia as a country that has the most Third Pulmonary TBC sufferers in the world, after China and India, the prevalence reaches up to 225/100.000 inhabitant. In Pekalongan, according to the Puskesmas report shows there is an increase Pulmonary TBC case year by year, we can find it in a range of sufferers BTA tuberculosis positive findings or Case Detection Rate (CDR) in 2009 registered 88,7% in prevalence is 81,43%, in 2010 is 97,81% in prevalence is 78,73%, in 2011 there is 132, 78% in prevalence 92,79%. This case shows that in Pekalongan, the Pulmonary TBC disease case is still high. Some BTA pulmonary tuberculosis positive cases that be found and cured in Pekalongan in 2011 is 229 sufferers. This number is categorized as high, and the majority sufferers are from the incapable socioeconomic family, so that they have malnutrition tendency. The aim of this research is to know the influence of behavior and nutrient status toward the case of Pulmonary TBC in Pekalongan. This research is a kind of case control research. The independent variable that being researched are behavior and nutrient status, and the sufferers’ contact are as confounding variable.Methods : This research wad done to 70 respondents’ sufferers of TBC with BTA (+) as case and 70 respondents not sufferers as a control to the same characteristics. Results : The result of the finding is that there is no influence between behavior influence toward Pulmonary TBC and the percentage is p= 0,285. Then, there is an influence of nutrient status toward case of Pulmonary TBC and the percentage is p= 0,000 and OR= 7.583 and also there is an influence of sufferers’ contact toward the case of Pulmonary TBC and the percentage is p= 0,049 and OR= 4,387. The researcher suggests doing the effort to increase the crawl of sufferers Pulmonary TBC to increase the new case of finding, increase the hygienic and healthy behavior and increase the citizens’ nutrient status. Key words: behavior, nutrient status, Pulmonary TBC.

Abstract

Karies merupakan salah satu penyakit gigi dan mulut yang prevalensinya di Indonesia masih cukup tinggi. Karies gigi adalah penyakit jaringan gigi yang ditandai dengan kerusakan jaringan, dimulai dari permukaan gigi (ceruk, fisura, dan daerah interproksimal) meluas kearah pulpa. Nelayan biasanya pergi melaut di sore hari dan pulang di pagi hari, terkadang beberapa hari mereka berada di laut sehari semalam. Hal ini yang menyebabkan perhatian terhadap kebersihan gigi dan mulut menjadi kurang. Kebersihan gigi dan mulut apabila kurang terjaga maka dapat meningkatkan terjadinya karies gigi.  Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu  tingginya indeks karies gigi pada nelayan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Pasongsongan Tahun 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan pola konsumsi ikan dengan karies gigi pada nelayan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Pasongsongan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik cross sectional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 82 orang. Metode pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square (uji altenatif  Pearson Correlation) dengan hasil nilai signifikan 0,827. Hasil penelitian yaitu tidak ada hubungan pola konsumsi ikan dengan karies gigi pada nelayan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Pasongsongan tahun 2020
