Abstract

Drinking water is needed by humans. Most people in Indonesia still use well water as a source of clean water to fulfil their daily needs. With the increase in activity and the development of the times, some people switch to using refill drinking water for their daily drinking needs. The process at drinking water refill depots is generally still carried out using relatively modern equipment, but the process of filling water into gallons is still manual. The operator must press a button to start filling and pay attention to the level of water fullness during the filling process. This is inefficient and can also lead to uncertainty of the volume of water filled in gallons. Automatically, consumers can be disadvantaged because the volume of water entering the gallon is not the same even with the same operator. this certainly has obstacles. So it is proposed to make a system that is able to regulate the volume of water that has been determined. The methodology used with the stages of design and manufacture, testing, data analysis, evaluation of research results and preparation of research reports. The system is made by utilising Outseal PLC as a controller, the volume of water is obtained from the pulse calculation given by the water flow sensor, while the HMI is used as an interface in using the system connected to Outseal PLC via Bluetooth. The test results for 1 litre of water with Wasser Pump PB-60EA average pulse sent as many as 350 pulses and a length of time of 13 seconds while the test results with pump 775 12VDC average pulse sent as many as 307 pulses and a length of time of 20 seconds.

Abstract

The urgency of implementing Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) and E-Assessment in sermon text learning lies in the need to enhance the relevance of teaching materials to the cultural and religious backgrounds of students while providing more objective and efficient assessments. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of combining CRT and E-Assessment in improving students' competencies at Pondok Pesantren Modern Islam Assalaam, particularly in sermon text learning. The study employed a qualitative approach with an embedded case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, documentation, and audio-video recordings. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify patterns in teaching and technology-based assessment practices. The results show that CRT enhances the relevance of learning materials to students’ cultural contexts, boosting confidence, participation, and intercultural understanding. Meanwhile, E-Assessment provides a more objective and efficient tool for evaluating sermon texts, particularly in terms of structure, coherence, and language use. However, the study also highlights challenges, such as limitations in assessing the performative aspects of speaking skills and the need for more inclusive material development. The study concludes that the combination of CRT and E-Assessment is effective in supporting students' competency development, although further innovations are needed in technology integration and teacher-student training.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought about significant changes in the consumption patterns of the global community. In the digital era, consumers increasingly rely on e-commerce platforms, social media and app-based services to fulfill their needs. This research aims to explore how changes in consumption patterns in the digital era affect consumer behavior and its impact on the global economy. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design and descriptive analysis to analyze the impact of economic digitalization on consumer consumption patterns, as well as the changes that occur in the business sector, especially in developing countries. The research found that digital consumers tend to be more informed, demand personalization, and care more about sustainability issues. E-commerce is a key element that is changing the way consumers interact with the market. In addition, digitalization is driving innovation in global business models, although it poses challenges such as digital inequality and data privacy. The results of this study provide important insights for governments and businesses to design strategies that are inclusive, sustainable and innovative. Policies and technological innovations need to be geared towards supporting changing consumption patterns, mitigating the challenges of digitalization, and capitalizing on global economic opportunities.

Abstract

This research discusses the utilization of natural products as an alternative batik dye that is more environmentally friendly than synthetic dyes. The research was conducted at Purwo carito Batik House, Botoputih Village, Temanggung. Batik, as an Indonesian cultural heritage, not only has high aesthetic value, but also faces challenges due to the use of synthetic dyes that have the potential to damage health and the environment. Purwo carito batik house innovates by using natural dyes from various plant sources, such as tegeran wood, tingi wood, and mango leaves, which produce unique and charming colors. The dyeing process involves the stages of mordanting, extracting, and dyeing, which are optimized to produce long-lasting colors. The results show that the use of natural dyes not only strengthens the artistic value and competitiveness of batik, but also supports environmental sustainability. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of developing natural dyeing techniques in the batik industry to preserve culture while safeguarding public health and the environment.

Abstract

The deed made by a notary is referred to as an authentic deed, which is stronger as compared to the deed under hand. This authentic deed serves as a legal proof tool before the court and is an important basis in various legal transactions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the responsibility of notaries in the preparation of authentic deeds, explore their impact on legal certaintyThis research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, which aims to explore and describe the role of notaries in the preparation of authentic deeds, as well as its impact on legal certainty and professional ethics in Indonesia. The results of this study show that the responsibility of notaries in the preparation of authentic deeds has a significant impact on legal certainty in Indonesia. Deeds prepared by a notary must meet strict legal standards, and any errors in the drafting process can harm the parties involved, both materially and legally. Although notaries are aware of the importance of their role, there are still major challenges related to external pressures, high workloads, and a lack of adequate supervision in the profession. Data shows that 40% of notaries feel pressured to meet client requests that are contrary to regulations, while 30% reveal time constraints as a major factor in reducing the thoroughness of drafting authentic deeds. The data also shows that although the professional code of ethics already exists, its implementation in the field is still less than optimal, with 35% of notaries feeling that they do not receive support from professional associations in the form of continuous training. In addition, the use of digital technology in the preparation of deeds also presents new challenges for notaries, where 45% of notaries admitted that they feel unprepared to face it.

Abstract

Child adoption is a legal act aimed at providing protection and proper care for children, especially abandoned children. Government Regulation Number 54 of 2007 on the Implementation of Child Adoption establishes various requirements for prospective adoptive parents, including the condition of a minimum of 5 years of marriage. While this requirement aims to ensure the stability of adoptive parents' households, it is often considered too rigid and does not fully reflect the principle of the best interest of the child. This study aims to analyze the legal basis of such requirements and evaluate their alignment with the principle of the best interest of the child. The research employs normative legal methods using a statute approach and a conceptual approach. The findings reveal that although the 5-year marriage requirement seeks to safeguard the child's welfare, it often becomes a barrier for abandoned children to promptly receive care from suitable families. Therefore, an evaluation of the regulation is necessary to ensure flexibility in its application while prioritizing child protection. A reformulation of the policy, making it more adaptive and responsive to social dynamics, is expected to optimize the adoption process in Indonesia, thus effectively realizing the principle of the best interest of the child.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the economic impact of the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires through the lens of Islamic law, focusing on its application for disaster management, social justice, and supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). Using Islamic legal principles such as maslahah (public interest), adl (justice), tawhid (unity), and takaful (mutual protection), the research explores their role in disaster recovery and economic redistribution. A qualitative approach is adopted, employing a case study of the 2025 wildfires, with an analysis of Islamic legal documents, expert interviews, and post-disaster policy reviews. The study finds that Islamic law offers practical instruments such as zakat (charity), qard al-hasan (interest-free loans), and takaful to aid recovery, while emphasizing collective responsibility in rebuilding after disasters. The research highlights how these Islamic principles can guide disaster recovery, promoting fair and sustainable practices in line with the SDGs. By integrating Islamic law into disaster management, the study offers unique solutions for equitable recovery efforts post-disaster. This research provides valuable insights into using Islamic law to create a more just and sustainable economic recovery framework in the face of natural disasters.
