Abstract

This study purposed to determine the implementation of the village authority-based administrative service program based on program indicators, implementing organizations and target groups as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Bantaeng Regency. This study used a qualitative descriptive type of research, to provide an overview of the implementation of village authority-based administrative services. The data analysis technique used data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Then the data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results of the study indicated that (a) the program, the village authority-based administrative service program had a clear objective, namely to make the administration of population administration closer, faster and the community no longer incured costs; (b) the implementing organization, the ability of the koordukcapil in providing population administration services in the village was good because it provided a quick response when there were people who took care of the authority-based administrative services; and (c) the target group were all village communities in Bantaeng Regency.

Abstract

This research discusses how the Management of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of Riau Province towards Maladministration Prevention in Pekanbaru City Government in 2023, because the performance of the Pekanbaru city government in public services can be said to be still not optimal because there are still public complaints related to maladministration by the Pekanbaru city government every year both in the form of protracted delays, abuse of authority, procedural irregularities, incompetence, and not providing services. In addition, this study aims to determine and analyze how the Riau Representative Ombudsman applies management functions. Data collection is done through observation, interviews and documentation. The data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis using several qualitative data analysis techniques, namely narrative analysis and phenomenological analysis. The results of this study found and showed that maladministration prevention planning at the Riau Ombudsman followed the instructions or procedures given by the Ombudsman RI through the main Assistant of Maladministration Prevention Management (KUMPM) in conducting public service standard assessment compliance survey activities, the Ombudsman Representative of Riau Province was able to carry out management functions well but the Riau Ombudsman must be more effective in preventing maladministration in the Pekanbaru city government.

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era presents new challenges and opportunities in the world of education, especially in the aspect of educational communication. Digital technology is the main instrument in supporting a more effective, interactive, and inclusive learning process. This study aims to analyze the use of digital technology in educational communication, both in online learning, interactions between educators and students, and management of academic information. The research method used is literature study and descriptive analysis of various implementations of technology in the world of education. The results of the study show that digital technology, such as Learning Management System (LMS), social media, and AI-based communication applications, can increase student engagement, expand access to education, and accelerate the distribution of academic information. However, challenges such as the digital divide, technological literacy, and ethics in the use of technology are still issues that need attention. Therefore, synergy between educational policies, technology development, and user readiness is needed to maximize the benefits of digital technology in educational communication in the Society 5.0 era

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyoroti betapa signifikannya peran orang tua dalam membentuk kemampuan sosial dan emosional anak pada masa yang paling krusial dalam perkembangannya. Bagaimana peran orang tua dalam membangun fondasi emosional yang kuat dan mengembangkan keterampilan sosial yang esensial pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan melakukan penelitian literatur yang mencakup teori-teori yang berkaitan dengan masalah penelitian, data yang dikumpulkan dan dianalisis sebagian besar berasal dari literatur. Hasil dari penelitian ini, bahwa pada masa usia dini, membangun fondasi emosional yang kuat dan menumbuhkan keterampilan sosial yang esensial pada anak memiliki arti penting dalam membentuk dasar yang kokoh bagi perkembangan mereka secara menyeluruh. Orang tua dan lingkungan sekitar berperan sangat penting dalam memberikan dukungan, bimbingan, dan rangsangan yang tepat guna membantu anak mengembangkan keterampilan untuk mengelola emosi, berinteraksi secara positif dengan orang lain, dan membangun hubungan yang sehat

Abstract

This study aims to 1) know the profit of marketing Patchouli oil in Mata Usu District, Bombana Regency, and 2) todescribe the risks of n ilam oil marketing in Mata Usu District, Bombana Regency. This research was carried out in Morengke Village, Mata Usu District, Bombana Regency. The number of samples in this study consisted of 16 patchouli distillery business industry owners, 4 collecting traders, and 2 marketing institutions. The determination of samples is carried out by the census method, which is to take the entire population to be used as a research sample while teknik determination of samples in collecting merchants or marketing institutions is carried out with snowball sampling techniques because the number is not yet known how many.The data analysis used is marketing margin analysis and risk analysis. The results showed that 1) the profit obtained by each patchouli oil marketing institution in Morengke Village was a trader (a) collector of Rp32.739.040 per month; (b) wholesalers amounting to Rp80.023.068 per month, 2) type of risiko in patchouli oil marketing in Morengke Village, Masa Usu District, Bombana Regency, among others, the quality of patchouli oil is low at the purchase stage caused by high acid and pH levels are in the medium risk category, the risk event in patchouli oil discoloration is at the storage stage due to too long storage, low temperature conditions, the use of patchouli oil storage containers are not suitable to be in the medium risk category, the occurrence of erratic price risk is at the storage stage caused by poor oil quality, traders accommodate patchouli oil are in the high risk category, and 3) upaya company in overcoming the risks faced on the risks Patchouli oil sales are carried out by strengthening marketing management and discussing with competitors a good marketing process without having to commit sales fraud by analyzing market competition and competitor performance in order to create a competitive market properly

Abstract

ABSTRAKBerdasarkan pra penelitian melaui wawancara dengan pihak Dinas UMKM Kota Makassar yang mengungkapkan bahwa dalam menjalankan usahanya, masalah-masalah yang dihadapi oleh pelaku UMKM dikawasan Pasar Segar diantaranya pengelolaan keuangan yang sangat sederhana, belum dapat membuat laporan keuangan dengan baik, dan kurangnya kemampan manajemen usahanya. Dimana dengan adanya masalah-masalah tersebut membuat kinerja keuangan sulit untuk diukur. Olehnya itu memiliki kecakapan financial literacy sangat penting bagi pelaku UMKM dalam menjalankan dan keberlangsungan usahannya. Disisi lain, pengaruh perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin pesat dimana penerapan e-commerce telah menjadi suatu budaya baru dalam hal transaksi online pada pasar digital termasuk di Kota Makassar. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dilakukanlah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan dan mengetahui peran financial literacy terhadap kinerja keuangan melalui pemanfaatan e-commerce sebagai mediasi pada UMKM di kawasan Pasar Segar Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kunatitatif menggunakan metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah seluruh pelaku UMKM di Kawasan pasar segar Kota Makassar. Dalam menentukan ukuran sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan rumus slovin sehingga jumlah sampel sebanyak 140 dimana pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner skala likert dan untuk teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah model path analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh langsung financial literacy terhadap kinerja keuangan pada UMKM di kawasan Pasar Segar Kota Makassar; terdapat pengaruh langsung pemanfaatan e-commerce terhadap kinerja keuangan pada UMKM di kawasan Pasar Segar Kota Makassar; serta terdapat pengaruh langsung financial literacy terhadap pemanfaatan e-commerce  pada UMKM di kawasan Pasar Segar Kota Makassar; serta terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung financial literacy terhadap kinerja keuangan melalui pemanfaatan e-commerce  pada UMKM di kawasan Pasar Segar Kota Makassar.Kata Kunci:  e-commerce, financial literacy , kinerja keuangan, UMKM ABSTRACTBased on pre-research through interviews with the Makassar City MSME Service which revealed that in running their business, the problems faced by MSME players in the Pasar Segar area include very simple financial management, not being able to make financial reports properly, and lack of business management capabilities. Where with these problems, financial performance is difficult to measure. Therefore, having financial literacy skills is very important for MSME actors in running and sustaining their businesses. On the other hand, the influence of the rapid development of information technology where the application of e-commerce has become a new culture in terms of online transactions in digital markets including in Makassar City. Based on this, a study was conducted that aims to reveal and determine the role of financial literacy on financial performance through the use of e-commerce as mediation in MSMEs in the Makassar City Fresh Market area. This research is a qualitative research using the survey method. The population in this study were all MSME players in the Makassar City fresh market area. In determining the sample size in this study using the Slovin formula so that the number of samples was 140 where sampling was carried out using purposive random sampling technique. The data collection instrument used a Likert scale questionnaire and for the data analysis technique used was the path analysis model. The results showed that there is a direct effect of financial literacy on financial performance in MSMEs in the Makassar City Segar Market area; there is a direct effect of e-commerce utilization on financial performance in MSMEs in the Makassar City Segar Market area; and there is a direct effect of financial literacy on e-commerce utilization in MSMEs in the Makassar City Segar Market area; and there is an indirect effect of financial literacy on financial performance through e-commerce utilization in MSMEs in the Makassar City Segar Market area.Keywords:  e-commerce, financial literacy, financial performance, MSMEs

Abstract

ABSTRACTSustainability performance in MSMEs is often constrained by limited resources and capabilities, leading many firms to prioritise short‑term financial returns over long‑term impacts. Yet sustainability now underpins customer appeal, partnership opportunities, and access to financing. Social media marketing—when reinforced by strong digital competencies—can substantially extend market reach. This study therefore tests whether digital competencies mediate the effect of social media marketing on MSME sustainability performance. Using a causal survey of 117 MSMEs in Makassar’s Somba Opu craft and shopping district (sampled with Slovin’s formula and purposive random sampling), data were gathered via Likert‑scale questionnaires and analysed with path analysis. The resulting article is expected to guide more competitive and innovative MSME strategies in the digital era.Keywords: Digital Competencies, Social Media Marketing, Sustainability performance.ABSTRAKKinerja keberlanjutan di UMKM sering kali terkendala oleh sumber daya dan kemampuan yang terbatas, sehingga banyak perusahaan yang memprioritaskan keuntungan finansial jangka pendek daripada dampak jangka panjang. Namun, keberlanjutan kini menjadi penopang daya tarik pelanggan, peluang kemitraan, dan akses ke pembiayaan. Pemasaran media sosial-jika diperkuat dengan kompetensi digital yang kuat-dapat memperluas jangkauan pasar secara substansial. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menguji apakah kompetensi digital memediasi pengaruh pemasaran media sosial terhadap kinerja keberlanjutan UMKM. Dengan menggunakan survei kausal terhadap 117 UMKM di distrik kerajinan dan perbelanjaan Somba Opu, Makassar (diambil sampelnya dengan rumus Slovin dan purposive random sampling), data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berskala Likert dan dianalisis dengan analisis jalur. Artikel yang dihasilkan diharapkan dapat memandu strategi UMKM yang lebih kompetitif dan inovatif di era digital. Kata kunci: Kompetensi Digital, Pemasaran Media Sosial, Kinerja Keberlanjutan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPendekatan Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sebagai implementasi dalam program-program sosial Lembaga Amil Zakat, Infak, dan Sedekah Muhammadiyah (LAZISMU) di Kota Makassar merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini dengan fokus pada praktik-praktik terbaik dalam mengintegrasikan aspek lingkungan dalam kegiatan sosial serta mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi dan solusi yang potensial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LAZISMU Kota Makassar telah melakukan implementasi ESG melalui program-program sosialnya namun belum terinternalisasi secara menyeluruh dalam setiap aspek operasional, terdapat pemahaman yang kuat mengenai pentingnya keberlanjutan, dampak sosial, dan tata kelola yang baik dalam menjalankan misi organisasi. Pelatihan dan sosialisasi internal mengenai ESG telah mulai diinisiasi, meskipun intensitasnya perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi akademik dalam studi implementasi ESG pada organisasi filantropi Islam dan memberikan panduan praktis bagi LAZISMU serta organisasi serupa dalam memperkuat integrasi prinsip keberlanjutan.Kata kunci. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results showed that LAZISMU Makassar City has implemented ESG through its social programs but has not been thoroughly internalized in every aspect of operations, there is a strong understanding of the importance of sustainability, social impact, and good governance in carrying out the organization's mission. Internal training and socialization on ESG have been initiated, although the intensity needs to be increased. This research is expected to make an academic contribution to the study of ESG implementation in Islamic philanthropic organizations and provide practical guidance for LAZISMU and similar organizations in strengthening the integration of sustainability principles.Keywords: ESG, LAZISMU, Social Program, Sustainability, Makassar City

Abstract

A conducive early childhood education environment requires the integration of legal aspects, ethics, and moral communication between teachers and guardians. Understanding related to this needs to be done at KB Smart Kids Wagir, Malang because it has never been done before. This service activity aims to increase the understanding of teachers and student guardians of KB Smart Kids Wagir, Malang regarding legal protection and the importance of ethical and moral communication in supporting the comfort of the learning process in PAUD. The method used in this service is in the form of socialisation which is attended by teachers and student guardians. The socialisation was carried out with lectures and questions and answers which began with a pre test and ended with a post test. The result of this service is an increase in science and technology from the socialisation participants. In addition, teachers and guardians better understand legal protection, legal relations, morality and ethics in the teaching and learning process in PAUD. The implication of this activity is the importance of strengthening legal literacy and ethical communication in building harmonious relationships between teachers and student guardians in PAUD institutions.

Abstract

Regulating the interval between pregnancies is crucial to preventing maternal and infant mortality. The National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) recommends delaying pregnancies to support women of reproductive age in achieving healthier maternal outcomes. However, limited interest in using Intrauterine Devices (IUD) is influenced by factors such as knowledge and attitudes. This study aims to evaluate the impact of IUD family planning counseling on attitudes and interests among prospective family planning acceptors. This quantitative study employs a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The study population included 55 postpartum mothers, with a sample of 51 participants selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Nonparametric Wilcoxon Test. Results revealed a statistically significant improvement in attitudes (p-value = 0.000) and interest (p-value = 0.000) following counseling, as indicated by increased mean scores from 21.75 to 27.61 for attitudes and 9.28 to 13.73 for interest. These findings demonstrate that IUD counseling effectively enhances positive attitudes and interest in using long-term contraceptive methods. The study concludes that comprehensive IUD counseling is essential in increasing acceptance of IUD as a contraceptive method. The findings suggest that healthcare providers should adopt tailored, evidence-based counseling approaches to overcome misconceptions and foster supportive environments for women, including engaging family members, particularly spouses. These efforts can contribute to reducing maternal and infant mortality rates through informed contraceptive choices.
