Abstract

Hockey is a relatively new sport developing in West Nusa Tenggara Province, with promising achievements demonstrated by the NTB team’s participation in the 2023 National Sports Week (PON). To support the development of hockey and the training of young athletes, a socialization program was conducted targeting physical education teachers (PJOK) of junior and senior high schools in Mataram City. The program aimed to disseminate hockey rules and technical aspects so that teachers could effectively become facilitators in athlete development at schools. The socialization was carried out through workshops and field practice over two days at the Mataram City Sports Arena, involving PJOK teachers from various schools. Evaluation was conducted using observation and questionnaires to measure improvements in participants’ knowledge and skills. The results showed a significant increase in understanding and enthusiasm during hockey practice sessions. This activity contributes to enhancing PJOK teachers’ competencies and supports hockey development in Mataram City, fostering the emergence of potential athletes capable of achieving provincial and national level achievements. Further recommendations include ongoing mentoring and provision of adequate training facilities to ensure sustainable hockey development in the region.

Abstract

Salah satu yang menjadi atensi dalam hukum perkawinan adalah kebolehan laki-laki untuk beristri lebih dari satu. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan kedudukan perkawinan poligami tidak tercatat dalam perspektif hukum perkawinan dan hukum pidana di Indonesia; dan menganalisis pemidanaan terhadap pelaku perkawinan poligami tidak tercatat di Indonesia.  Jenis penelitian normatif yang melihat hukum sebagai bangunan norma yang mengatur kehidupan masyarakat, sehingga pendekatannya adalah perundang-undangan, konseptual dan analitis. Data yang digunakan adalah data kepustakaan yang bersumber dari berbagai literatur yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengaruh hukum agama, khususnya agama Islam sangat terlihat dalam formulasi pengaturan model perkawinan khususnya tentang pengesahan, pencatatan dan poligami pada Undang-Undang Perkawinan. Masalah poligami menjadi kompleks disebabkan karena tidak ada kesatuan norma hukum dalam memandang pengesahan dan pencatatan perkawinan. Sehingga masalah poligami tidak tercatat merupakan masalah abu-abu yang pada akhirnya penegakan hukum pidananya sangat tergantung pada tafsiran yang dilakukan oleh hakim, seperti pada Putusan Nomor 56/Pid.B/2014/PN.Slk; Putusan Nomor 729/Pid.B/2014/PN.TNG; dan Putusan Nomor 937 K/Pid/2013.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the qualifications of capital market criminal acts and analyze their legal enforcement within the framework of the Indonesian legal system. The type of research used in this research is normative legal research using statutory and conceptual approaches. The research results show that: 1) The qualification of criminal acts in the Capital Markets Law includes three main forms, namely criminal acts of fraud, market manipulation and insider trading. These three types of criminal acts have special characteristics because they focus on the misuse of strategic information, not on material objects, so the process of proof requires in-depth precision because the formulation of the offense is still abstract and not fully in line with the development of capital market crime modes which are increasingly complex and technology-based. 2) Law enforcement in the Indonesian capital markets sector still faces various obstacles, both from authority and technical aspects. Even though OJK has Polri and PPNS investigators, the effectiveness of investigations is still limited due to dependence on the KUHAP mechanism, inadequate technical capabilities of investigators, and sub-optimal inter-agency coordination. This condition makes case handling less responsive, so it is necessary to strengthen regulations and institutional capacity

Abstract

The This study aims to examine the phenomenon of thrifting in the study of economic civic in the sambu market in Medan City. The phenomenon of thrifting as one of the economic trends that develops in society, especially in the context of community economics, is seen as an activity that has an impact on changes in economic and social behavior among urban communities. Using a phenomenological approach, this study highlights the views and experiences of thrifting sellers and buyers participating in the market. The qualitative method was chosen to provide an in-depth picture of how thrifting is seen as an economic activity that impacts consumption patterns, social awareness, and citizenship. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach, using ATLAS.ti software to simplify the analysis process and provide updates in this study. The findings of this study are expected to provide new insights in the study of economic civic, especially related to economic behavior in the context of civil society in the city of Medan. The results of the study show that thrifting in the sambu market is not only an economic activity, but also a space for social interaction that strengthens the solidarity of local communities. Thrifting actors build social relations based on trust, collaboration, and care, which reflects people's economic practices in the context of civil society. The practice of thrifting also encourages people to participate in inclusive and sustainable economic activities, despite the gap between government regulations and market activities that drive citizens' economies. The conclusion of this study reveals that the phenomenon of thrifting in the sambu market reflects the important role of community-based economic activities in building social awareness and strengthening the structure of civil society in the context of civic economic studies.

Abstract

Research aim : This study aims to analyze the company value and financial performance of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. for the 2013–2022 period using Tobin’s Q and Return on Assets (ROA) indicators. Design/Methode/Approach : The research employs a quantitative descriptive approach by analyzing secondary data obtained from BRI’s annual financial statements. Tobin’s Q is calculated to measure market-based firm value, while ROA is used to assess financial performance and profitability. Research Finding : The results show that the Tobin’s Q ratio during 2013–2022 consistently exceeded one (Q > 1), indicating that BRI was in an overvalued condition, reflecting strong investor confidence and effective asset management. Meanwhile, the average ROA was 2.522%, categorized as very healthy according to Bank Indonesia standards, demonstrating the company’s consistent profitability despite a temporary decline in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Theoretical contribution/Originality : This study strengthens empirical evidence that integrating market-based (Tobin’s Q) and accounting-based (ROA) indicators provides a more comprehensive assessment of firm performance. Practitionel/Policy implication : The findings suggest that BRI’s management should continue enhancing digital transformation, operational efficiency, and financial transparency to maintain long-term competitiveness. Research limitation : This study is limited to one state-owned bank; future research may compare multiple banks or add governance and risk management variables.
