Abstract

Abstract: This Community Service Program (Penelitian kepada Masyarakat /PKM) aimed to develop and implement a tauhid-based play-based learning model to enhance the spiritual intelligence of early childhood learners at TPA Nurul Islam Tanjung Aman. The program was initiated in response to the predominance of conventional learning approaches that are less aligned with the developmental characteristics of young children, resulting in low learning motivation and limited engagement in religious learning activities. A qualitative approach was employed using four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The participants consisted of children aged 2–6 years attending learning activities at TPA Nurul Islam. The implementation of the play-based learning model involved various educational play activities, such as hijaiyah letter cards, puzzles, Islamic songs, and creative tasks integrated with tauhid values. The results indicated an increase in children’s enthusiasm, active participation, and learning motivation in recognizing hijaiyah letters and understanding Qur’anic learning materials. Furthermore, the integration of tauhid values within play activities contributed positively to the development of religious attitudes and spiritual awareness from an early age. Therefore, the tauhid-based play-based learning model can be considered an effective, enjoyable, and relevant alternative learning strategy for improving the quality of religious education for early childhood learners in TPA. Keyword: play-based learning, tauhid, spiritual intelligence, early childhood, TPA Abstrak: Program Penelitian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan model play-based learning berbasis tauhid dalam rangka meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual anak usia dini di TPA Nurul Islam Tanjung Aman. Kata kunci: play-based learning, tauhid, kecerdasan spiritual, anak usia dini, TPA.

Abstract

This study designs and implements an input recommendation system for smallholder coffee agribusiness to close productivity and efficiency gaps. The objective is to assess how decision analysis guides farmers toward input combinations aligned with goals, budget constraints, and field risks. The methodology applies decision analysis: candidate input allocations are formulated; evaluation criteria (yield, total cost, risk exposure, ease of implementation) are specified; criterion weights are elicited through structured judgments; scores are normalized and aggregated; and sensitivity analysis tests robustness to weight and price changes. Results show that the recommendation-based alternative consistently outperforms conventional practice on most criteria, raising productivity while lowering cost per unit of output and reducing risk under volatile weather. Stability of rankings across sensitivity tests indicates durable performance across diverse farmer preferences. The findings highlight the need for targeted technical assistance and financing aligned with recommended inputs to support sustained adoption and scalable replication across regions.

Abstract

Purpose – This study investigates how credit risk, profit-and-loss sharing (PLS) financing, and regional economic growth shape the profitability of Islamic rural banks in Indonesia and whether PLS portfolios and local conditions buffer the adverse effect of non-performing financing (NPF) on profitability through a moderating effect.Methodology – The analysis uses a balanced panel of 135 Islamic Rural Banks (IRBs) for 2019–2024, combining bank-level data with Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) per capita growth. Fixed-effects panel regressions with two- and three-way interactions between NPF, PLS measures (total PLS, mudharabah, musharakah), and regional growth were estimated, controlling for size, capital adequacy, efficiency, funding structure, and time effects.Findings – The results demonstrate a robust negative association between non-performing financing (NPF) and return on assets (ROA). Mudharabah-based profit-and-loss sharing (PLS), rather than aggregate PLS or Musharakah alone, attenuates the impact of NPF. Similarly, higher regional growth weakens the marginal effect of credit risk. A negative and significant triple interaction indicates that Mudharabah intensity and favorable regional growth act as substitutes rather than complements, with the strongest mitigation of the NPF effect observed at low to moderate levels of both variables.Implications – The evidence suggests that IRB managers and regulators should calibrate PLS portfolios for regional macroeconomic conditions. Understanding local growth environments can guide the PLS configurations that are most appropriate for promotion within supervisory areas.Originality – This study is among the first to jointly examine the roles of PLS contract composition and regional economic growth in the credit-risk–profitability nexus of IRBs, showing how risk-sharing finance and local business cycles interact in shaping Islamic bank performance.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is increasingly viewed as a strategic pillar of modern economic development due to its role in creating jobs, driving innovation, and strengthening national economic resilience. In Indonesia, the large demographic potential of the productive age group, particularly among students, makes entrepreneurship a relevant career alternative amidst technological disruption and market uncertainty. Rapid digital transformation, the expansion of the gig economy, and the growing demand for creative industries further highlight the importance of entrepreneurial competencies among young people. Universities, therefore, are expected not only to produce job seekers but also to nurture job creators who are capable of identifying opportunities and transforming ideas into sustainable ventures. However, the high level of entrepreneurial intention among students does not always translate into actual business creation. Various psychological factors, such as self-efficacy, risk tolerance, motivation, and resilience, play significant roles in shaping entrepreneurial behavior. Social support, access to capital, mentorship, and exposure to entrepreneurial role models also influence students’ readiness to start and sustain a business. Understanding these multidimensional determinants is essential to bridge the gap between intention and action. This study has contributions by enriching psychologically-based entrepreneurship studies, as well as practical implications for universities and policymakers in designing more adaptive, experiential, and sustainable entrepreneurship education programs that align with industry needs and national economic priorities.

Abstract

Employee performance is an important factor in supporting the effectiveness of public services, especially in the hygiene and environmental management sector which has a high level of risk and field workload. The Waste Management Unit (UPS) of the Setiabudi Reservoir Water Agency has a strategic role in maintaining the cleanliness of the reservoir and flood control in the South Jakarta area, so it requires human resources who have high work discipline and are supported by a fair and adequate compensation system. However, in practice, there are still various challenges related to discipline and perception of compensation that have the potential to affect employee performance. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline and compensation on employee performance at the Setiabudi Reservoir Water Agency UPS. This study used a quantitative method with SPSS 27 analysis tools. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to UPS employees of the Setiabudi Reservoir Water Agency as research respondents.  The results of the study show that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, which indicates that compliance with rules, punctuality, and work responsibility can improve the effectiveness and quality of performance.  Thus, this study provides the implication that improving work discipline and improving compensation policies in a sustainable manner is a strategic step in improving employee performance and the quality of public services in the field of environmental management.
