Abstract

The southwestern coast of Aceh Province is among the areas vulnerable to heavy metal pollution originating from human activities, including mining, agriculture, and household waste. Chue snails (Faunus ater) are among the aquatic organisms that can be used as a bioindicator of water pollution. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the content of Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd) and Mercury (Hg) in F. ater snails originating from seven estuary areas in the southwestern coast area of Aceh Province. Analysis was also carried out to determine the environmental factors affecting metal accumulation and potential risks to public health. Sampling was performed in various areas, including the Jembatan Kembar River (Aceh Singkil), Trumon River (South Aceh), Kuala Lama Tuha (Southwest Aceh), Peunaga Cut Ujong River (Nagan Raya), Suak Ribe Puteh (West Aceh), Teunom River (Aceh Jaya), and Leupung River (Aceh Besar). This study used a laboratory analysis method with Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) instruments to measure metal concentrations in F. ater tissue. The results showed that all samples from seven areas were contaminated with Pb, Cd, and Hg at levels ranging from 0.691 - 1.575 mg/kg, 0.285 - 0.311 mg/kg, and 0.001 0.030 mg/kg, respectively. Pb and Cd content showed high heavy metal content, which exceeded the safe threshold according to the Food and Drug Administration (BPOM), Republic of Indonesia, with the greatest concentration found in the Southwest Aceh Regency. These results showed that the consumption of F. ater had the potential to endanger public health. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct outreach to the community to increase environmental awareness and food safety. Keywords:Heavy MetalBioaccumulationEstuaryBioindicatorsFaunus aterSDGs 13SDGs 14

Abstract

Global warming and the extensive use of chlorpyrifos pose serious threats to the hatching success, growth, and survival of Nile tilapia larvae (Oreochromis niloticus). This study aimed to evaluate the combined effect of chlorpyrifos toxicity and elevated temperatures on tilapia larvae. A completely randomized design (CRD) was used with three temperature levels (28C, 31C, and 34C) and two chlorpyrifos concentrations (0 g/L and 32 g/L), totaling six treatments with three replicates each. Parameters observed included hatching rate, daily growth rate (DGR), specific growth rate (SGR), absolute growth rate (AGR), and malformation rate.Measurements were conducted daily from the first day of hatching until the end of the larval phase (Day 8). Results showed the highest hatching rate (85.33%) was achieved at 34C without chlorpyrifos, while the lowest rate (20%) occurred at 28C with chlorpyrifos exposure on Day 2. DGR and SGR significantly decreased at 34C with chlorpyrifos exposure, reaching 0.0003 g/day and 3.73%/day, respectively, compared to 28C without chlorpyrifos (0.0011 g/day and 10.78%/day). AGR remained stable across all temperatures, showing no significant differences with or without chlorpyrifos. The malformation rate, including abnormalities such as lordosis and kyphosis, increased with higher temperatures and chlorpyrifos exposure, with the highest rate (25%) recorded at 34C with 32 g/L chlorpyrifosKeywords:ChlorpyrifosNile TilapiaHatching RateLarval Growth

Abstract

This study was motivated by the finding that some school administrative staff have not been fully able to complete their tasks optimally. This condition is thought to be caused by low levels of competence in several important aspects, such as technical, managerial, and interpersonal skills. Based on this, this study was conducted to analyze the effect of competence on the performance of school administrative staff. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The subjects in this study were all administrative staff of UPT SMA Negeri 1 Wajo, totaling 22 people. Data collection was carried out through a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and inferentially using a simple linear regression test with the help of the SPSS version 30.0 program. The results of the study showed that the competence of administrative staff was in the "good" category with a percentage of 79%, and the performance of administrative staff was also in the "good" category with a percentage of 81%. The results of the simple linear regression analysis showed that there was a positive and significant influence between competence and the performance of administrative staff, with a significance value of 0.021 (<0.05) and a regression coefficient of 0.607. This means that the higher the competence of administrative staff, the higher the performance shown.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Academic Advisory Lecturers on Learning Motivation of Class 2019 Students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlation test method involving two variables, namely Academic Advisory Lecturers (X) and Student Learning Motivation (Y). The sample in this study amounted to 89 people who were students of the Class of 2019 Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence of academic advisory lecturers on the learning motivation of Class 2019 students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Puangrimaggalatung University, this is in accordance with the results of the hypothesis shown by the t arithmetic value of 7.074 > t table 1.663. The magnitude of the influence is 32.4%, and the remaining 76.6% is influenced by other factors outside the study. For Academic Advisory Lecturers to provide motivation and direction in lectures and or outside lectures so that students can increase their learning motivation so that they are enthusiastic and have a high fighting spirit in taking education. Although academic advisory lecturers only have a small effect on learning motivation, the existence of Academic Advisory Lecturers for Students is still a very important factor.

Abstract

Law Number 5 of 1960 concerning Basic Agrarian Principles (UUPA) provides a clear legal framework regarding land ownership, including registration and certification procedures. This UUPA is expected to protect the rights of land owners from land mafia practices. However, in practice, the implementation of the UUPA has not been optimal and there are still legal loopholes that are exploited by land mafia actors. Land mafia is a land crime committed by a group of people to illegally control land belonging to other people. Land mafia perpetrators use methods that violate the law in a planned, neat and systematic manner. To take action against land mafia perpetrators, several criminal offenses can be used, including:Article 167 of the Criminal Code concerning unlawful entry into a house or yard Article 263 of the Criminal Code concerning making a fake document which can give rise to a right to land is an operandi of the Land Mafia and social inequality that can be seen from around us, especially in rural areas, where there are many land owners and land owners. capital is very inversely proportional. That is the aim of the UUPA to prevent the monopoly of capital owners on land owners.
