Abstract

Introduction: The use of illegal drugs is increasing in adolescents and the consequences that will damage the generation so that it must be sought or known influencing factors as preliminary data in determining intervention. According to a preliminary survey at the Lamongan District Penitentiary in 2011, the number of suspects and defendants of drug abuse was 115 people, of whom 63 were teenagers. This study aims to determine the dominant factors that influence drug use in adolescents. Methods: The research design used in this study study uses a descriptive method, namely describing or explaining the factors that cause drug abuse in adolescents. The population in this study were all adolescent drug users in the Lamongan District Correctional Institution in May 2012 as many as 63 people. In this study the sampling technique used was purposive sampling, namely the technique of determining the sample by selecting samples among the population according to what the researcher wanted. In this study the instrument used was a closed questionnaire sheet. Data processing and data analysis by editing, coding, scoring, tabulating and analyzed purposively. Results: Based on the study, several factors were found to be the causes of drug users in adolescents at the Lamongan Penitentiary, including: Social environment (23%), personality (20%), family (8%), education (21%), and presence Drug (19%). Conclusion: Social environmental factors are the dominant factor causing drug abuse in adolescents at the Lamongan Penitentiary.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the distribution practice method on the accuracy of lob shots in badminton. This study employs an experimental method, utilizing a One Group Pretest and Posttest design. The sample consists of 11 athletes. Data collection techniques involve tests and measurements, with the research instrument being a lob shot accuracy test. Data analysis is performed using the t-test formula at a significance level of 5%. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that there is an influence of the distribution practice method on the accuracy of badminton lob shots. Therefore, the conclusion is that there is an impact of the distribution practice method on the accuracy of lob shots in badminton. This demonstrates that the distribution practice training method is suitable for improving the accuracy of badminton lob shots

Abstract

Bahasa merupakan alat komunikasi yang dipakai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sejak dalam kandungan anak sudah mulai belajar bahasa, seperti: saat ibunya mengajak anak berbicara meskipun anak masih dalam kandungan. Kemampuan bahasa pada anak harus distimulasi sejak  dini untuk menghindari keterlambatan berbicara. Ketrampilan berbahasa memiliki empat komponen, yaitu: ketrampilan menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Bahasa dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu bahasa reseptif dan ekspresif. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitaif dengan desain Quasi Eksperimen Design berbentuk Nonequivalent control group desaign. Teknik pengumpulan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Populasi penelitian adalah kelompok A TK Sedyo Mulyo Bakaran Kulon Pati. Sampel yang diambil dari kelompok A berjumlah 30 anak, kontrol berjumlah 15 anak dan eksperimen berjumlah 15 anak. Hasil penelitian berdasarakan  data yang sudah diperoleh terdapat peningkatan rata-rata pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 6,27 % dan untuk kelas kontrol mengalami peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 1,93%. Dan hasil uji hipotesis diketahui bahwa nilai signifikan (sig2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari α =  0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan nilai signikansi (sig 2-tailed) sbesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka  ditolak dan  diterima. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan media loose part terhadap perkembangan bahasa ekspresif pada anak usia 4-5 tahun. Dengan penggunaan media loose part dapat memberikan suasana proses pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan mengembangkan aspek perkembangan bahasa pada anak.ngan bahasa pada anak

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of children's speaking ability. Children tend to be less able to express what is in their minds, convey ideas, it is because they do not have too much vocabulary. This type of research is development or Research and Development (RnD). The development procedure in this study applies the ADDIE model procedure (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation).  The subjects of this study were kindergarten B class teachers from several kindergartens in Jaken District. The collection technique used a questionnaire. The data were obtained from questionnaires of media experts, materials and teacher responses. The results of the analysis on media experts were 83% with a very feasible category, material experts were 80% with a feasible category, and questionnaire responses from teachers were 83% with a very feasible category. This shows that Pop Up Flood media can make it easier for children to understand flooding and improve children's learning outcomes and can be used as media in kindergarten B class. Based on the results of this study, Pop Up Flood media can be used by teachers as an alternative media in the classroom to support children's learning activities.

Abstract

Desa Tapak merupakan salah satu desa pesisir yang terletak di Kecamatan Tugu, Semarang, Jawa Tengah yang memiliki potensi sumber daya alam bahari berlimpah, misalnya ekoeduwisata mangrove, budidaya bandeng, dan produk hasil perikanan. Potensi-potensi tersebut berpeluang untuk mendukung pertumbuhan dan perkembangan sosial ekonomi, membuka lapangan pekerjaan baru, dan meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Namun, peluang-peluang yang ada masih belum terkelola dengan baik sehingga diperlukan suatu upaya untuk menunjang keberhasilannya. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan membentuk kelompok baru yang berfokus pada lingkungan dan produk perikanan sebagai upaya peningkatan perekonomian. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu Assessment yang meliputi survei, observasi, wawancara, perencanaan dan penyuluhan. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat yang didapat berupa terbentuknya beberapa kelompok baru yang memiliki peran penting dalam mewujudkan Desa Maritim Unggul yang berdaya saing dan Berkelanjutan. Selain itu, hasil nyata yang dapat dilihat dari pengabdian ini yaitu masyarakat menjadi lebih sadar lingkungan dan diversifikasi produk hasil perikanan lebih bervariasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify various types of errors made by students of SMP Negeri 76 Jakarta class VIII in making narrative essays and to identify the most dominant types of errors that are often done by students when composing narrative essays. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive method. After analyzing the errors made by students, the author can draw a conclusion The type of error in using simple past tense most often made by students is misformation (formation error), with a percentage of 73.04%. This error consists of 84 errors out of a total of 115 errors. On the other hand, the least frequent type of verb usage error made by students is misordering, with a percentage of 5.21%, or only 6 errors out of a total of 115. In addition, students also made other errors, such as addition errors at 6.08%, which included 7 errors out of a total of 115, and errors of omission at 15.65%, with a total of 18 errors out of a total of 115.

Abstract

Various cultures related to pregnancy and postpartum still exist in society with various forms of prohibitions and behaviors that must be avoided by mothers during pregnancy and postpartum. Batang Kilat Coastal Area in Medan Labuhan District is a modern coastal area, so research on cultural practices related to pregnancy and postpartum needs to be conducted there. The purpose of this research is to explore beliefs and cultural practices related to pregnancy and postpartum in the Batang Kilat area. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study and data collection method through in-depth interviews. The participants in this research are pregnant women and postpartum women, with a total of seven participants. The results of the research show five main themes, namely views on examination and care during pregnancy, views on birth attendants, views on food taboos and behaviors during pregnancy, views on behavior during postpartum, and family support in postpartum care.

Abstract

The risk of non-performing loan is a significant issue in the financial industry, including banks and cooperatives. Loan default risks can occur due to various reasons, and one of them is the negligence of staff or subjective decision-making in loan approval. The proposed solution is to enhance an objective and accurate loan approval decision-making system through the application of machine learning technology, aiming to reduce the risk of loan default. The Random Forest algorithm has proven to be the best in predicting loan approval compared to other supervised learning models. Optimization was performed on the Random Forest algorithm through hyperparameter tuning and data balancing using SMOTE. The best accuracy obtained from several experiments was 86.2%. By implementing optimizations on the Random Forest algorithm, it is expected that the model can make loan approval predictions more objectively and accurately, serving as a reference for future loan approval system development.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that influence foreign debt by using data on foreign exchange reserves, exchange rates, and interest rates on Indonesia's foreign debt for the period 1990-2023. The data used in this research was obtained from the official websites of the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), and Bank Indonesia. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research show that foreign exchange reserves, exchange rates, and interest rates simultaneously influence Indonesia's foreign debt. Partially, foreign exchange reserves have a positive and significant effect on Indonesia's foreign debt, the exchange rate influences Indonesia's foreign debt, and interest rates have a positive effect on Indonesia's foreign debt.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what institutions play a role in the development of cabbage agribusiness, find out the level of institutional performance, and find out the level of satisfaction of farmers with the institutional performance of cabbage agribusiness in the Argoayuningtani Farmer Group, Senden Village, Selo District, Boyolali Regency. The method used is the purposive sampling method. The data analysis methods used are likert analysis, Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The results of the study show that the institutional performance of production facilities, marketing, farmer groups, financing, as well as information and technology is considered satisfactory and in accordance with farmers' expectations. The priority for improvement is in quadrant 1, namely the quality of saprodi and agricultural tools, information and price stability, the existence of cooperatives, and farmer groups as production units. The level of satisfaction of farmers with the institutional performance of cabbage agribusiness is included in the satisfied category.
