Abstract

This research discusses court decisions regarding joint custody of children after divorce with a maslahat approach based on the nine basic values of the Indonesian Women's Ulama Congress (KUPI). The main issue raised is how the application of joint custody can ensure the best interests of the child, particularly in reducing the negative emotional impact of divorce, as well as ensuring the involvement of both parents in the child's life. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the appropriateness of Banjarbaru Religious Court Decision Number 369/Pdt.G/2017/PA.Bjb. which grants primary custody to the father but still gives the mother the opportunity to interact with the child on weekends. The analysis in this study is based on the theory of maslahat, which prioritizes the best interests of children, as well as the nine basic values of KUPI, namely equality, equality, justice, humanity, nationality, universality, divinity, mercy, and benefit. Using the juridical-normative method, this research analyzes court decisions, legal regulations, and related theories. The results show that the concept of joint custody supports the best interests of children, reduces the negative psychological impact of divorce, and improves children's welfare through the involvement of both parents.

Abstract

This research is important to raise as a reflection on the importance of applying discipline in the learning process, especially Arabic. Arabic. Thorndike's theory of behaviorism which discusses how to strengthen the relationship between stimulus and response is closely related to reflection in Arabic. Relationship between stimulus and response is closely related to the above reflection above. As a behaviorist approach emphasizing stimulus-response reinforcement, Connectionism provides a relevant theoretical lens for evaluating Arabic language learning practices. This study aims to analyze the Arabic Morning program based on the perspective of Thorndike's Connectionism theory which includes 3 aspects 1) aspects of the law of exercise 2) aspects of the law of cause and effect, and 3) aspects of the law of readiness. This research is a case study type with a descriptive approach. Data were collected by interview, observation, and documentation. The data came from 1) interviews with Arabic Morning tutors, 2) participant observation, and 3) Arabic Morning document review. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Hubermann model which consists of three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that three aspects of Thorndike's Connectionism theory have been applied. The forms of implementation are 1) the legal aspect of practice in the form of memorizing mufrodat, writing, and expressing Arabic sentences, 2) the legal aspect of cause and effect in the form of applying rewards and punishments, and 3) the aspect of readiness in the form of emphasis on students to have internal and external readiness in participating in the Arabic Morning program. Based on the results of the data analysis process, it is found that the three legal aspects of Thorndike's Connectionism theory have been fully implemented in Arabic language learning.

Abstract

The research objective is specifically to determine the influence of the variables Influence of Perceived Benefits, Perceived Convenience, and Service Features on Customer Satisfaction (Case Study on Using the PLN UP3 Palembang Mobile PLN Application)." partially or simultaneously. The research method uses questionnaire, interview and documentation techniques. The sample of this research was 80 employees on Customer Satisfaction (Case Study on the Use of the PLN Mobile PLN UP3 Palembang Application). Data processing used SPSS 23 analysis. Testing the data using the t test, that research had an effect on Perception of benefits with t table 0.909 < t count 1.992, Perception of convenience on customer satisfaction with t table -1.851 > t count 1.992, and Service features on customer satisfaction with t table 32,212 > t count 1,992 and Perception of Benefit, Perception of Convenience, and Service Features on Customer Satisfaction with F table 6,0304 < F count 1,992, the common thread of research is that the Influence of Perception of Benefit, Perception of Convenience, and Service Features on Customer Satisfaction requires improving service quality, conducting training for employees and always paying attention to product quality both in terms of service and quality so that customers remain loyal and continuously use the application. Abstract

Pantai Bantayan merupakan salah satu pantai di kawasan Aceh Utara tepatnya di Kecamatan Seunuddon yang memiliki banyak potensi wisata. Kebersihan merupakan salah satu faktor yang menentukan kualitas suatu kawasan wisata. Kesadaran masyarakat sekitar akan kebersihan akan menentukan keberlanjutan wisata dan kelestarian alam di pantai Bantayan, hal tersebut dapat dimulai dari skala kecil, rumah merupakan tempat yang tepat untuk memulainya. Tim Modul Nusantara Universitas Malikussaleh melaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi pengolahan sampah rumah tangga dengan bimbingan dosen Modul Nusantara. Sasaran utama yang peneliti pilih adalah kaum perempuan yang terdiri dari ibu-ibu, sebab akan berdampak langsung pada aktivitas rumah tangga. Peneliti memberikan sosialisasi tentang cara sederhana yang dapat dilaksanakan untuk mengolah sampah rumah tangga. Selama sosialisasi, peserta sangat antusias terhadap pemaparan peneliti tentang pengolahan sampah. Peserta dapat memberikan timbal balik berupa langkah penangan sampah yang selama ini dilakukan.

Abstract

Abstract: Stunting is a condition of impaired growth in children resulting from chronic nutritional deficiencies, with long-term consequences on cognitive development, immune function, and future productivity. Inappropriate practices of exclusive breastfeeding and complementary feeding (MP-ASI), often influenced by low maternal knowledge and attitude, have been identified as major risk factors for stunting. This study aims to analyze the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding practices, maternal knowledge and attitudes related to MP-ASI, and the incidence of stunting among children under five in Palembang City. A cross-sectional study design was employed using a quantitative approach. Data were collected from 196 mothers with children aged 6–59 months across four sub-districts in Palembang City through multistage random sampling. Validated questionnaires were used as research instruments, and data were analyzed using the chi-square test. No significant association was found between knowledge (p=0.265) and attitude (p=0.652) regarding MP-ASI and stunting incidence. However, children of mothers with poor knowledge had a 2.175 times higher risk of stunting. Exclusive breastfeeding practices also showed no significant association with stunting (p=0.915), although children who were not exclusively breastfed had a 1.097 times higher risk of experiencing stunting. Although not statistically significant, low maternal knowledge on complementary feeding and lack of exclusive breastfeeding may increase the risk of stunting. Educational interventions promoting appropriate infant feeding practices are essential to reduce stunting prevalence in Palembang City. Keywords: attitude, complementary feeding, exclusive breastfeeding, knowledge,stunting Abstrak: Stunting merupakan kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak akibat kekurangan gizi kronis yang dapat berdampak jangka panjang terhadap perkembangan kognitif, imunitas, dan produktivitas di masa depan. Praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif dan MP-ASI yang tidak tepat, sering kali dipengaruhi oleh rendahnya pengetahuan dan sikap ibu, telah diidentifikasi sebagai faktor risiko penting terhadap kejadian stunting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara praktik pemberian ASI, pengetahuan, dan sikap terkait MP-ASI dengan kejadian stunting pada anak balita di Kota Palembang. Penelitian menggunakan desain potong lintang (cross-sectional) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada 196 ibu yang memiliki balita usia 6–59 bulan di empat kecamatan Kota Palembang menggunakan metode multistage random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang telah divalidasi dan dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square. Tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan (p=0,265) dan sikap (p=0,652) terkait MP-ASI dengan kejadian stunting. Meskipun demikian, anak dari ibu dengan pengetahuan yang kurang baik memiliki risiko 2,175 kali lebih tinggi mengalami stunting. Praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif juga tidak menunjukkan hubungan signifikan dengan kejadian stunting (p=0,915), namun balita yang tidak menerima ASI eksklusif memiliki risiko 1,097 kali lebih tinggi untuk mengalami stunting. Meskipun tidak signifikan secara statistik, rendahnya pengetahuan ibu terkait MP-ASI dan tidak diberikannya ASI eksklusif berpotensi meningkatkan risiko stunting. Abstract

Natural inert dust has been used as a grain protectant since the ancient Aztecs of Mexico to this modern era. Natural inert dust is divided into three groups: the first group includes sand, kaolin, paddy husk ash, wood ash, and clay; the second group includes mineral dust; and the third group includes natural silicas such as diatomaceous earth and zeolite. Natural inert dust has a unique mechanism for killing insect pests. Inert dust particles penetrate the insects’ exoskeleton, causing dehydration through the cuticle. Relative humidity is a crucial factor affecting the efficacy of inert dust application. Inert dust has been traditionally used by farmers, which impacts the insects, such as decreasing population, no insect resistance, and being environmentally friendly. Problems of using inert dust include visible residues on grain, airborne dust, reduced flowability, bulk density reduction, and adverse effects on downstream processing machinery. Moreover, inert dust is a very light product, thus it may cause human respiratory illness. The inert dust can be applied to the smaller or larger storage containers. Natural silica can be readily integrated into modern agriculture as a pest management solution.

Abstract

The legality of marriage and the legality of birth are two interrelated elements, if a marriage does not have legality then it is not considered valid by the State, then if there are parties who feel disadvantaged, of course they cannot claim their rights in court. The absence of legality of birth also has implications for the validity of self-identity which is protected by the State. This thesis is the result of juridical-normative research that collects data through documentation studies. The results of the data that have been collected are then analyzed using content analysis methods. The results of this study indicate that: (1) in order to strengthen family resilience, the government requires every individual to register marriages so that their marriages are legalized in accordance with applicable laws and to register births to obtain a birth certificate as authentic evidence of a person's birth. (2) this policy is a form of implementation of Al-Maṣlaḥah Al-Mursalah in the category of mashlahah hajjiyah, because the policy regarding the legality of marriage and the legality of birth is an interest that is beneficial to the community and is a solution to the difficulties faced by the community.

Abstract

Marriage dispensation in Jepara has increased significantly in the last two years, starting from 2020-2021. This increase indicates about the high possibility of children marriage in Jepara. According to the cases and the data, it is still necessary to analysing the basic of the consideration about the court judgement which allowed the application of children marriage dispensation in Jepara based on the guidebook of the marriage dispensation (Perma Number 5 of 2019) to ensure the best concerns of the children in Jepara. The method of this research used qualitative methods with a non-doctrinal field approach and an empirical/sociological-inductive logical approach. The result of this study show’s that the judges at the Jepara Religious Court preserve the children concerns properly to determine their judgement and carry out Perma Number 5 of 2019 truly, based on the Guidelines to adjudicate the Applications for Marriage Dispensation.

Abstract

This research aimed at evaluating the use of the Picture Word Inductive Model (PWIM) and Grammar Translation Method (GTM) in teaching English Basic Structure for EFL undergraduates. Eighty-four students were randomly chosen as a sample from over 400 EFL undergraduates students in the second semester of the English Education Program. Furthermore, the samples were grouped into two classes, 43 students in the PWIM group and 41 students in the GTM group. The research employed the mixed-method research of convergent parallel design. The efficacy of the PWIM and GTM was investigated in terms of learners' ability to develop structured sentences. The PWIM, as a new experience in teaching Basic Structure, was administered in two cycles. On the other hand, the GTM as the conventional teaching method was implemented within six sessions. In PWIM, two poster pictures were modeled as the instruments. At the end of the treatment, a post-test of structured sentences was assigned in both groups. The test consisted of 25 error analysis questions. As the results, in PWIM class, the highest score was 98, the lowest score was 66, and the average score was 78.1. Meanwhile, in the GTM class, the highest score was 96, the lowest score was 42, and the average score was 64.6. Moreover, the research indicated that most students were enthusiastic in the learning process and experienced different exciting learning process through PWIM. It can be said that applying PWIM as the new teaching method in teaching English Basic Structure is needed to enrich and broaden students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

Salah satu bentuk kejahatan di media sosial dalam lingkup cybersex adalah sexting di kalangan remaja. Sexting menjadi gaya ‘pacaran baru’ pada remaja saat ini. Hal tersebut menandakan masih banyak perilaku amoral yang dilakukan tanpa pengawasan orangtua. Moralitas dan tanggung jawab merupakan aspek penting dalam kehidupan untuk menjaga sistem sosial yang baik.Tulisan ini berfokus untuk mendialogkan teks Alquran surat Annur:23-25 dan Qaf:18 dengan konteks yang sesuai dengan keadaan hari ini. Surat Annur mengisahkan tentang Aisyah yang difitnah berzina oleh salah satu sahabat Nabi karena mereka tertinggal rombongan. Hal ini berkenaan dengan penyebaran isu yang tidak benar sehingga merusak citra, nama baik Aisyah dan keluarga Rasulullah SAW. Surat Qaf:18 berkenaan dengan pengawasan kedua malaikat (Raqib dan Atid) dalam segala perilaku manusia di dunia. Sementara kasus yang diambil dalam konteks tersebut ialah fenomena cybersex berupa sexting (sex and texting) di kalangan remaja hari ini.
