Abstract

The creative economic empowerment proclaimed in the Cordova University thematic KKN work program in Tepas Village in collaboration with the PKK Tepas Berjaya further emphasizes strengthening the empowerment of housewives who are members of the Dasawisma group in the Moringa menu creation program and saving used cooking oil which is considered to be able to overcome household waste problems and can improve the economy and family welfare towards an independent village. The empowerment of women through Dasawisma has been carried out by the PKK in Tepas village since 2020, this is a form of PKK's concern and sensitivity for housewives who have been affected by the covid-19 pandemic. In its activities Dasawisma members are empowered to have skills in processing Moringa vegetables into several menus such as snacks or souvenirs and which have economic value which will later be marketed through online or offline markets. or delivered by the women of the Tepas village community to be saved in the form of money or exchanged for new cooking oil. The Tepas Village PKK plans to create 40 (forty) processed moringa menus that are ready to be marketed as well as an increase in the community to actively participate in these waste-consuming savings activities. The current problem is that the achievements of processed moringa are still far from the targets set out of the PKK in Tepas village program and used cooking oil has not yet been processed into goods of economic value, so based on this, Cordova University thematic KKN students initiated several menus of processed food/snacks and souvenirs from processing of moringa and utilization of used cooking oil to become souvenirs. Limited understanding of creativity, entrepreneurship and limited knowledge and care in the midst of society is also the basis for this service to be carried out. Activities carried out include counseling, initiation of new products, entrepreneurship assistance, collaboration and continued with joint practice. The result of this service activity is that Dasawisma members have knowledge about processing used cooking oil into goods of economic value such as liquid soap and aromatherapy candles and add to the processed moringa menu in the form of snacks and souvenirs in the form of kelor ecoprint, then increase the knowledge of Dasawisma members about entrepreneurship

Abstract

Background : The need for access to excellent healthcare services is a primary need for society. As the standard of living improves, so do the public's demands for higher health values. Therefore, hospitals are required to continuously improve the quality of their services to ensure consumer satisfaction. In order to provide fair and equitable healthcare services for all Indonesians, the government has implemented the National Health Insurance (JKN) program, administered by the Social Security Agency (BPJS). Objective : This study aims to determine the influence of service quality on patient satisfaction in the JKN Era at Inpatient Facilities in both Public and Private Hospitals. Research Methods/ Implementation Methods : This study is a quantitative research using an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design. The sample consists of 131 respondents, with 78 respondents from public hospitals and 53 respondents from private hospitals. Results : The results of the study indicate that there is no significant difference in patient satisfaction levels using the HCAHPS method between private and public hospitals in Bantul Regency. This is evidenced by a significance value of 0.265, which is greater than 0.05. According to Table 4.5, there is also no significant difference across all HCAHPS components. These components include nurse communication, with a significance value of 0.403 (>0.05), doctor communication (0.789 > 0.05), hospital environment (0.896 > 0.05), pain management (0.129 > 0.05), communication about medications (0.179 > 0.05), discharge information (0.79 > 0.05), overall hospital rating (0.591 > 0.05), and willingness to recommend the hospital (0.622 > 0.05). All components of healthcare service delivery in both private and public hospitals fall into the "good" category. In terms of respondent satisfaction levels, 52.8% of respondents in private hospitals reported feeling very satisfied, while 47.2% felt satisfied. In public hospitals, 58.8% of respondents reported feeling very satisfied, and 41.2% felt satisfied. Conclusion/Lesson Learned : Based on the results of the study on the differences in patient satisfaction levels using the HCAHPS method in both private and public hospitals in Bantul Regency, it was found that patients were satisfied with the healthcare services provided by both types of hospitals. Furthermore, there was no significant difference in patient satisfaction levels between private and public hospitals in Bantul Regency. It is recommended that both private and public hospitals continue to improve and maintain healthcare services, particularly in doctor-patient communication, pain management provided to patients, and overall hospital management, to ensure greater patient satisfaction with the services provided.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor budaya, sosial, pribadi dan psikologis terhadap keputusan pembelian bibit jagung hibrida baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh paling dominan terhadap keputusan pembelian bibit jagung hibrida. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling. Sedangkan Penelitian ini menggunakan 100 responden sebagai sampel dan keseluruhan responden adalah konsumen UD. Linda Jaya Gresik. Penelitian ini menghasilkan persamaan regresi: Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel keputusan pembelian bibit jagung hibrida dipengaruhi oleh variabel budaya, sosial, pribadi dan psikologis sebesar 51,5% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 48,5% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain diluar keempat variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Variabel faktor budaya, faktor sosial, faktor pribadi, dan faktor psikologis berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap keputusan pembelian pada UD. Linda Jaya Gresik. Abstract

The utilization of healthcare services is a key indicator of a region’s health system effectiveness. Puskesmas, as a primary healthcare facility, plays a vital role in ensuring access to medical services. However, outpatient service utilization in Indonesia remains low, at 35.16% in 2023, and only 33.39% in East Kalimantan. Puskesmas Bontang Selatan 1 has seen an increase in outpatient visits, yet the Community Satisfaction Survey (SKM) indicates fluctuations, particularly in requirements, procedures, and service convenience. These issues may affect future service utilization. This study analyzes factors influencing healthcare service utilization among outpatients at Puskesmas Bontang Selatan 1 in 2024. The research employs a quantitative analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consists of 100 outpatients, selected through Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate methods with Fisher’s Exact Test. Findings show significant associations between healthcare availability (p = 0.018), socio-psychological factors (p = 0.000), and information accessibility (p = 0.002) with healthcare utilization, while doctor services (p = 0.140) showed no significant relationship. It is recommended that Puskesmas improve service information clarity, utilize waiting time for health education, and enhance service quality to increase healthcare utilization.

Abstract

Background: Third trimester pregnancy is often accompanied by complaints of lower back pain due to hormonal changes and body mechanics. This pain is experienced by 60–80% of pregnant women in Indonesia. Non-pharmacological treatments such as prenatal yoga are considered effective in reducing pain without risk to the fetus. Objective: to assess the impact of prenatal yoga on lower back pain in pregnant women during their third trimester. Method: A quasi-experimental approach was implemented, utilizing a one-group pre-test post-test design with 28 third-trimester pregnant women at TPMB W Banjarmasin City between June and August 2024, selected through purposive sampling. The prenatal yoga sessions lasted 45 minutes per session over a four-week period, led by a certified midwife. Pain levels were evaluated using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and analyzed through the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: Before the intervention, the majority of respondents experienced moderate pain (46.4%) with an average pain scale of 2.32 (SD 0.66). After the intervention, most experienced mild pain (78.6%) with the average pain scale decreasing to 1.21 (SD 0.41). The Wilcoxon test results indicated a statistically significant change p = 0.001 (α = <0.05), between the pre- and post-prenatal yoga conditions. Conclusion: Prenatal yoga has been shown to effectively alleviate the pain of lower back suffered by pregnant women during their third trimester. To strengthen these findings, further studies utilizing a randomized controlled trial approach with a larger sample size are recommended.

Abstract

Sistem hidroponik wick dikenal sebagai metode bercocok tanam tanpa tanah yang sederhana, hemat biaya, serta dapat diterapkan di area terbatas. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mengembangkan life skill mahasiswa melalui pelatihan hidroponik sistem wick di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 12 mahasiswa Program Studi Ekonomi Syariah dan Perbankan Syariah dengan metode penyuluhan partisipatif yang mengintegrasikan teori dan praktik langsung. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan teknis dan keterampilan praktis mahasiswa, serta pengembangan soft skill seperti kerja sama dan manajemen waktu. Selain itu, pelatihan ini membuka peluang bagi mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan usaha hidroponik yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan sesuai dengan prinsip ekonomi syariah. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam membentuk mahasiswa yang mandiri, inovatif, dan siap bersaing di dunia kerja.

Abstract

Strengthening Women Farmer's Groups requires the involvement of extension workers through programs and activities that impact the food security of farmer households. Extension workers' involvement is expected to positively impact the strengthening of Women Farmers Groups (KWT) in Tarowang District, Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi. The study's objectives were (1) to analyze the role of KWT in household food security and (2) to describe the KWT strengthening model used in supporting household food security. The instrument used in the study was an in-depth interview. Data were processed using tabulation techniques and analyzed using descriptive methods. The results of the study showed (1) the role of KWT in supporting household food security is increasing food production, increasing human resources, increasing agricultural product marketing, family food diversity, farmer household income, and increasing women's empowerment; (2) the institutional strengthening model of KWT in supporting household food security is a model of institutional support and increasing the capacity and skills of KWT members.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of school principals in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in State Elementary School, Pulau Panggung District. The background of this research is based on the challenges faced in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, such as limited resources, lack of teacher training, and adaptation to innovative learning methods. The principal has a strategic role in supporting the implementation of this curriculum, both as managers, supervisors, and entrepreneurs in managing and developing learning media. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation involving principals and teachers. The results of the study show that school principals have a significant role in directing, supervising, and optimizing the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. There are obstacles such as lack of technological skills, time constraints, and resistance to changes in the school environment. Therefore, increased training, closer collaboration between principals and teachers, and more comprehensive policy support are needed to overcome these obstacles. The leadership of the principal contributes greatly to the successful implementation of the Independent Curriculum, with a positive impact on the quality of learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan media Canva dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X di SMK Negeri 8 Palu. Motivasi belajar merupakan faktor penting yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan media Canva, diharapkan siswa dapat lebih tertarik dan termotivasi dalam mengikuti pelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan 85% pada siswa setelah menggunakan media tersebut. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa pemanfaatan media Canva dapat menjadi salah satu strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan semangat dan minat belajar siswa di lingkungan sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Canva secara signifikan meningkatkan minat dan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Siswa menjadi lebih antusias dan termotivasi dan interaktif. Dengan demikian, media Canva dapat menjadi alternatif efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di lingkungan sekolah kejuruan.

Abstract

This article is about the implementation of Mubadalah as an effort to prevent sexual violence in the family. Data shows that violence in the family is increasing and women are often victims. The purpose of this article is to analyze the model of preventing sexual violence in the household based on a multidisciplinary approach by emphasizing the concept of Mubadalah. The perspective of Mubadalah as a concept of husband and wife relations as an equal and mutually supportive relationship, which can be a foundation in dismantling patriarchal norms that perpetuate violence. This research method uses a qualitative approach, by analyzing in depth the concept of Mubadalah as an offer of resolution of household conflict, this type of article is library research with a phenomenological approach, data sources are obtained from data from the National Commission on Violence Against Women, WHO data and religious courts. The findings show that sexual violence in the household is nevertheless high due to patriarchal norms, lack of gender education, and weak law enforcement. Analysis with the Mubadalah perspective shows that relational justice and mutuality are strategic approaches in education, community empowerment, and the formulation of policies to prevent sexual violence. The results of this study indicate that the concept of Mubadalah can be integrated into education programs, legal interventions, and community-based empowerment to build just and equal families.
