Abstract

Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) Karangsong menjadi salah satu pelabuhan terbesar dan paling tinggi aktivitasnya di Kabupaten Indramayu. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari jumlah armada kapal yang tersebar di PPI Karangsong. Di sisi lain, puluhan kapal yang berada di Indramayu melakukan praktik mark down. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji kesesuaian ukuran gross tonnage (GT) kapal dengan dokumen pada kapal gillnet di PPI Karangsong, Kabupaten Indramayu. Riset ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2021, bertempat di PPI Karangsong, Kabupaten Indramayu. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan objek riset kapal gillnet berukuran <5 GT, 5-10 GT, >10-20 GT, >20-30 GT, dan >30 GT. Data yang diambil berupa panjang geladak kapal, lebar kapal dan dalam/tinggi kapal. Pengambilan sampel dari objek riset masing-masing sebanyak 3 kali ulangan per interval GT. Metode riset yang digunakan adalah survei. Data dianalisis secara deskripsi komparatif dengan membandingkan ukuran GT kapal antara ukuran pada dokumen kapal dan ukuran berdasarkan pengukuran fisik kapal. Terdapat beberapa ketidaksesuaian yang ditemukan terjadi pada kapal dengan kategori ukuran >10-20 GT, ukuran >20-30 GT, dan ukuran >30 GT. Selisih ukuran GT kapal tertinggi terdapat pada kapal dengan ukuran >30 GT. Kata kunci: gross tonage, pengukuran kapal, mark down, PPI Karangsong

Abstract

The condition of toddlers having less length or height based on age as a result of factors such as socio-economic conditions, maternal nutrition during pregnancy, and lack of nutritional intake in the first 1000 days of life is called stunting. Nutritional intake factors include failure to initiate breastfeeding, failure to provide exclusive breast milk, and the early weaning process. The research aims to determine the relationship between a history of early initiation of breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding with the incidence of stunting in children under two years aged 6-24 months. The research was conducted in the work area of ​​the Lere Community Health Center, Palu City. This type of research is observation with a case-control approach with chi-square analysis. The sample in this study was 19 stunted and 38 under two years old who were not stunted. Data is presented in table form accompanied by a narrative. The results of the research showed that from 57 samples, the percentage of stunting was 33.3%, those under two years old who received early initiation of breastfeeding was 47.4%, and those who received exclusive breast milk were 56.1%. The statistical test results show a significant relationship between a history of early and exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 6-24 months (p < 0.05) with an OR of 9.143 and 6.873, respectively. It is recommended that pregnant women initiate early breastfeeding immediately after giving birth and commit to providing exclusive breastfeeding to maintain the child's growth and development.

Abstract

The issue faced by the MSME partners of Warung Jajanan Hafshah is their inability to create consignment sales reports that adhere to accounting standards. To address these challenges, the initiative focuses on providing support to these partners, aiming to enhance their skills in compiling consignment sales reports. The community service program employs mentoring, discussions, and feedback methods with the partners. As a result of this initiative, the MSME partners have successfully developed and implemented consignment sales reports using Microsoft Excel in a systematic manner. Through the mentoring sessions conducted, it is evident that partners are now capable of generating consignment sales reports both manually and systematically. Additionally, a key outcome of this community service activity includes the publication of findings in a national journal.

Abstract

Tax avoidance is a strategy that aims to minimize corporate tax on pre-tax profit. This study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding the effect of company size, profitability, independent commissioners, and institutional ownership on tax evasion during the Covid-19 pandemic. The population in this study are manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2021 period. By using purposive sampling technique, data were obtained from 74 companies so that 148 observations were obtained. This study shows the results that manufacturing sector companies listed on the IDX during the pandemic period, namely 2020-2021, several factors from financial performance and corporate governance influence the company's tax avoidance actions. The financial performance represented by the variable firm size and profitability shows a positive effect on tax evasion. In corporate governance, independent commissioners and institutional ownership have a negative effect on tax avoidance.

Abstract

Background: Cigarettes are cylindrical objects that contain many dangerous additives. The danger of smoking is that it can cause perio-dontitis (gums inflammation, pharyngitis (throat infection), laryngitis (infection of the larynx and vocal cords), and bronchitis (infection of the bronchial tubes). Protecting the dangers of smoking can be provided through health education. Health education can be provided using several methods. One of them is the lecture method using interesting media such as PowerPoint and bookletsObjective: To determine the difference in increasing knowledge of the dangers of smoking between the Health Education lecture method with PowerPoint media and booklets. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental method with a two-group pretest and posttest. The 63 respondents in the sample were di-vided into 31 respondents in the booklet group (B) and 32 respondents in the PowerPoint group (P). The questionnaire contains 15 questions used to measure knowledge of the dangers of smoking.Results: The mean value was 66.34 for the PowerPoint media lecture approach and 76.16 for the booklet media lecture method. The Mann-Whitney test indicated a difference between the two presentations (p = 0.010).Conclusions: There is a difference in increasing knowledge about the dangers of smoking between health education lecture methods with PowerPoint media and booklets.

Abstract

Pesticides are one of the components of agri input needed to protect plants from plant pests. However, massive use of pesticides can cause various negative impacts on plants, the environment, and human health. Excessive use of pesticides in rice cultivation is still a problem that is often found in Sukorame Village, Trenggalek. Seeing this condition, there needs to be more intensive education efforts for farmers. Seeing this problem, community service activities were carried out by the Faculty of Agriculture team at Kadiri University. Community service activities were carried out with the aim of providing education to farmers regarding more environmentally friendly and sustainable pest management. This program is also expected to reduce dependence on chemical pesticides and introduce Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques that can help farmers increase productivity without damaging the environment. Community service activities were carried out using the Participatory Aural Appraisal (PRA) approach. This method emphasizes community participation and involvement starting from the preparation, education, training and mentoring stages. Overall, the main objectives of the program to increase farmer awareness of the dangers of pesticides and introduce the IPM method have been achieved. The community began to understand the importance of environmentally friendly pest management. After the program was implemented, farmers began to provide follow-up. It is seen that some farmers have started to adopt the IPM method as a sustainable agricultural system.  Pestisida merupakan salah satu komponen agri input yang dibutuhkan untuk melindungi tanaman dari organisme pengganggu tanaman. Namun, penggunaan pestisida secara masif dapat menimbulkan berbagai dampak negatif, baik bagi tanaman, lingkungan, maupun kesehatan manusia. Penggunaan pestisida berlebihan dalam budidaya padi masih menjadi masalah yang sering dijumpai di Desa Sukorame, Trenggalek. Melihat kondisi ini, perlu adanya upaya edukasi yang lebih intensif kepada para petani. Melihat permasalahan tersebut, maka dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat oleh tim Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Kadiri. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan tujuan memberikan edukasi kepada petani terkait pengelolaan hama yang lebih ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan. Program ini juga diharapkan dapat mengurangi ketergantungan pada pestisida kimia dan memperkenalkan teknik Integrated Pest Management (IPM) yang dapat membantu petani meningkatkan produktivitas tanpa merusak lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan pendekatan Participatory Aural Appraisal (PRA). Metode ini menekankan partisipasi dan keterlibatan masyarakat mulai dari tahap persiapan, edukasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Secara keseluruhan, tujuan utama program untuk meningkatkan kesadaran petani tentang bahaya pestisida dan memperkenalkan metode IPM telah tercapai. Masyarakat mulai memahami pentingnya pengelolaan hama ramah lingkungan. Setelah pelaksanaan program, petani mulai memberikan tindak lanjut. Hal ini terlihat bahwa beberapa petani mulai mengadopsi metode IPM sebagai salah satu sistem pertanian berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This community service program was carried out with the aim of improving the financial literacy of students at the Monash Institute Islamic Boarding School. Through financial literacy counseling in the digital era, this program aims to equip santri with the knowledge and skills needed to make wise investment decisions. The counseling integrates modern educational approaches with Islamic financial practices, adapting to the values espoused by the pesantren. It is expected that through this program, santri can improve their understanding of personal and institutional financial management in a sharia context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja sumber daya manusia (SDM) di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan telaah dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi yang kuat, yang mencakup nilai-nilai inovasi, keadilan dalam penghargaan, dan komunikasi yang transparan, berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja SDM. Budaya yang mendorong kolaborasi, keterbukaan, dan penghargaan terhadap kontribusi individu menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif untuk produktivitas dan adaptasi terhadap perubahan. Keadilan dalam penghargaan dan komunikasi transparan memperkuat ikatan anggota organisasi terhadap tujuan institusi. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi perguruan tinggi untuk mengembangkan budaya organisasi yang lebih adaptif, relevan, dan berkelanjutan guna mendukung peningkatan kinerja SDM dan pencapaian tujuan institusi secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Problems that are often experienced in the learning process include learning difficulties, varying levels of creativity between teachers and students, inappropriate application of teaching methods, limitations in the use of learning media. This research aims to investigate and analyze religious learning methods that fall into categories centered on students studying Islamic religious education. This research uses the library research research method, by taking a descriptive-analytical approach with this type of literature review. The results of this research are that Islamic religious learning methods that are student-centered, including the Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) Method, promote students' critical and analytical thinking skills in finding answers to the problems they face. The Group Discussion Method, with an interactive approach, is able to increase students' enthusiasm for learning through sharing ideas and debating relevant topics. Practice Methods provide opportunities for students to conduct experiments and real practice, helping them find answers to problems through hands-on experience. The Active Learning method encourages students to think critically and creatively, contextualizing learning materials with everyday life situations. The Peer Tutor method utilizes the role of peers as tutors, increasing understanding through closer communication and interaction. Overall, these methods, with their various innovations, have proven effective in improving the quality of Islamic religious learning, helping students develop critical thinking skills, problem solving, and a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of financial ratios, namely TATO, EPS, ROA, and DER on company share price volatility. This information provides a signal about the company's prospects to external parties, especially investors. The population used in this research includes companies in the energy, industrial, technology and infrastructure sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) with observation years 2020 to 2022. Sample selection used a purposive sampling technique. The total population is 215 companies with a total sample that meets the criteria of 169 companies. The analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression analysis with a total of 165 data processed. The results of this research show that the TATO variable has a significant positive effect on stock price volatility, while the EPS, ROA and DER variables have no effect on stock price volatility. In general, this research provides consideration of factors that influence stock price volatility for investors in investing decisions.
