The research focused on the implementation of character building to improve students’ life skills and the implication of character building on students’ life skills in PPBM. It was carried out using a qualitative approach and case study design in business units of PPBM. The data source of the research consisted of the caretakers, teachers, the head of the vocational training center, and students involved in the management, work, and training in various business units. The researcher collected the data using observation, interviews, open questionnaires, and documentation. The key instrument of the research is the researcher herself. However, the researcher employed research instruments of observation, interview, and open questionnaire to help her during the process. The data was analyzed using description, condensation, categorization, and interpretation processes.The result of the research shows that (1) to improve students’ life skills, character building is carried out by understanding the vision, mission, and objectives of the Islamic boarding school. The learning starts from the production of goods and services using sources and learning media in an extensive way (involving tutors and professionals of certain business unit), internship, independent learning using internet (Youtube, WA, Instagram, and other social media), the practice of management, work, and training in the business units, assessment, and authentic evaluation by involving students in the management and work of business unit; the learning monitoring is done by report and reflection on their performance in each business unit; (2) The implication of character building on students’ life skills includes the developing of students’ individual skill, awareness to live independent, religious competence (praying attitude, being grateful and patient, being responsible, struggling, and serious in work); social competence, namely the competence to communicate, collaborate, and cooperate; academic competence; and vocational competence, namely the competence to work in business unit experienced by students in PPBM.

Artikel ini membahas kontribusi Moral dan program Militer Etis Pendidikan (MMEE) di Angkatan Bersenjata Malaysia (MAF). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menilai pengaruh atau kontribusi program MMEE untuk etika (MME) prestasi moral dan militer di antara para peserta dalam tiga domain kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik. Sebanyak 469 peserta mengambil pencapaian tes MET dan data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh program MMEE telah berkontribusi sedikit untuk pencapaian MET peserta = 1,4%. Dalam hal hasil oleh domain masing-masing, kontribusi program MMEE melalui jadwal elemen untuk prestasi kognitif = 1,4%, kontribusi program MMEE melalui elemen silabus untuk prestasi afektif = 3,6% dan kontribusi dari program MMEE melalui elemen pengajaran dan pembelajaran prestasi psikomotor = 0,5%.

This study aims to describe the strategy of the madrasa head in implementing the memorizing (tahfidz) al-Qur'an program in MAN 1 Sampang and MA Al-Ittihad Al-Islami Camplong, with sub foci including (1) madrasa head planning, (2) madrasa head program implementation, and (3) the implications of the madrasa head strategy, which was carried out by MAN 1 Sampang and MA Al-Ittihad Al-Islami Camplong Sampang Madura. The results of this study indicate that: 1) planning the tahfidzul Qur'an program namely; cooperating with various parties both inside and outside the school, determining the coach of tahfidz who already memorized 30 juices. 2) The process of implementing the Tahfidz program is carried out every week at 06: 50-07: 30 WIB in each class using the Muroja'ah and Tikrar methods, the depositing process can be carried out on male or female coaches or assistant coaches. 3) Implications of the program of tahfidz al-Qur'an namely; improve the quality of madrasas, the number of student memorization that exceeds the target, and student achievement in non-academic fields. This study aims to determine the impact of integrating Arabic within teaching English as a Foreign Language in an elementary school environment in Saudi Arabia. Generally speaking, English language teachers strive to emphasize using the English language in their classes. They are confronted with a severe dilemma due to their efforts, namely a lack of communication between professors and students. These kids have difficulty comprehending what they perceive as a challenging foreign language.20 English teachers have been chosen as the participants in the study were chosen. The researcher employed a random sampling technique to select participants for the study. The researcher gathered information from participants using a questionnaire survey and a test administered by the researchers. Using Arabic as a facilitating aid in English classes in Saudi Arabia may positively or negatively impact teaching English as a foreign language, as per the findings of this study. The findings of this study necessitate future research to identify and examine the many sorts of relevant issues related to this study in a wide variety of fields.

This article discusses the learning of the Qur'an with the approach of contextual teaching and learning. This research was conducted at the Islamic Junior High School Muhammadiyah Sejangkung Sambas Regency. The study focused on learning the Qur'anic Hadith. The aim of the research was to describe the contextual teaching and learning on: a) the implementation of the learning of the Qur'anic Hadith, b) the implications of learning the Qur'an Hadith, (c) the factors supporting and inhibiting the learning of the Hadith Qur'an. This research was designed with a qualitative approach. The subject of the research was the Hadith teacher and the students at the Islamic Junior High School Muhammadiyah. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of the learning of Qur'an Hadith with a contextual teaching and learning approach is achieved by conveying more actual, realistic, enjoyable material in the four forms of learning methods namely learning together, group discussion, Jigsaw, and peer teaching method. Implications of learning have a very positive impact on students, among others, students are more responsive to the material being delivered, the classroom atmosphere is more pleasant, the material being delivered is more actual, so that it can indirectly improve the quality of education in madrasah (Islamic junior high school). The supporting factors for the positive effects are as follows: (1) The ability of teachers, (2) the ability of students, (3) facilities and infrastructure; while the inhibiting factors in implementing this strategy are (1) the limitations of teachers, (2) the lack of facilities and infrastructure, and (3) the diverse psychological abilities and souls of students Artikel ini membahas tentang pembelajaran qur’an hadits dengan pendekatan contextual teaching and learning. Penelitian ini dilakukan di madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah Sejangkung Kabupaten Sambas. Kajian difokuskan pada pembelajaran qur’an hadits. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menguraikan pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning pada: a) implementasi pembelajaran Qur’an Hadits, b) implikasi pembelajaran Qur’an Hadits, (c) faktor pendukung dan penghambat pembelajaran Qur’an Hadits. Penelitian ini didesain dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian guru Qur’an Hadits dan siswa di madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah Sejangkung. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran qur’an hadits dengan pendekatan contextual teaching and learning terwujud dilakukan dengan cara menyampaikan materi yang lebih aktual, lebih realistis, lebih menyenangkan dalam empat bentuk metode pembelajaran yaitu metode belajar kelompok (learning together), metode diskusi kelompok (group discussion), metode Jigsaw dan metode tutor sebaya (peer teaching). Implikasi pembelajaran memberikan dampak yang sangat positif terhadap siswa antara lain siswa lebih mudah menerima materi yang disampaikan, suasana kelas lebih menyenangkan, materi yang disampaikan lebih aktual, sehingga secara tidak langsung) dapat meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di madrasah. Sedangkan faktor pendukung (1) Kemampuan guru, (2) Kemampuan siswa, (3). Sarana dan prasarana. Sedangkan faktor penghambat dalam penerapan Pendekatanini adalah: (1) Keterbatasan guru, (2), Sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadahi, (3) Kemampuan dan jiwa psikologis siswa yang beragam

In an all-digital era like today, the development of digital media and information technology poses challenges for users in accessing, selecting, and utilizing information from the times accompanied by digital developments which are expected to form a better increase in student learning. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing web-based literacy to increase students reading interest. This research uses quantitative methods with experimental research type, true experimental design. The results showed that there was an effect of implementing web-based literacy on increasing students reading interest, this was seen in the acquisition of a pretest score of 51.62 and an increase in the posttest score of 82.81 with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. After experiencing changes, it is seen that there is an increase in students reading interest, the application of web-based literacy will greatly help the effectiveness of learning and can also help students access the internet in more useful ways

The phenomenon of educational products in the 21st century is in two speculative positions; either beneficial or otherwise detrimental. For those who benefited technologically, he called it the century of brilliance. But for observers of values in the context of education, the 21st century is not only concluded as a challenge but even as an emerging threat to the process of moral growth, therefore it is necessary to find an alternative. The 21st century and the changing times that accompany it are unavoidable. Of course, this is a logical consequence. But value observers, especially academics, think about how the main anticipation is so that a value (akhlaq alkarimah) which is the main goal of Islamic education does not become the cost of changing times. This research was carried out with a qualitative library research approach, whose data sources were obtained from articles, news, and journals, using a documentary technique. Analyzed with a content analysis model. The results of this study provide an offer for repurposing moral education by reinforcing the pattern of education with a harmonious pattern of teachers and students, moral education with advice, re-orientation of learning goals and intentions instilled in students, learning by waro' (almost extinct in the educational process). ), learn istifadah, and learn by remaining steadfast so that the learner's soul remains strong in any situation.

This study regards the implementation of the educational values of religious tolerance and nationalism in IBS of Islam Al-Islam, IBS of Karangasem Muhammadiyah, IBS of Sunan Drajat, and IBS of Modern Muhammadiyah Lamongan. This study applied a qualitative approach, interpreted with phenomenology approach, and natural setting method. The techniques of data collection were through observation, interview and documentation. The results of the technique of data collection were through data obtained analysis, data condensation, data grouping and verification. Furthermore, the validity of the findings used a focus group discussion (FGD) to test the validity of the research data. The results of the study included the implementation of educational values of religious tolerance through the role of Kyai, habituation and Islamic boarding school’s learning. While the implementation of nationalism values was through formal learning, extra-curricular, organization, speech, mutual cooperation, ceremonies and PHBN (Memorial of The National Day).

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh anggapan umum bahwa madrasah merupakan kelas dua dibandingkan dengan sekolah umum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ingin menampilkan karakteristik “Madrasah Model”. Metode penelitian ini adalah literature review. Sumber data diperoleh dari buku-buku dan jurnal-jurnal yang ada kaitannya dengan topik yang diteliti. Temuan diperoleh melalui deduksi dan wacana kritis, bukan melalui pengolahan data primer. Studi ini menggunakan content analysis (analisis isi) sebagai pendekatan dalam analisis data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Madrasah Model memiliki keunggulan dari aspek kurikulum, boarding school (asrama), memiliki pusat sumber belajar bersama, SDM yang profesional, muatan lokal dan ekstra kurikuler yang fleksibel dan islami. Dengan demikian penelitian ini sangat penting agar Madrasah Model menjadi Center for Excellence bagi madrasah lain untuk melakukan inovasi kelembagaan pendidikan Islam serta dapat dikembangkan pada masing-masing Kabupaten/Kota bahkan Kecamatan.

Islamic principals practice various leadership styles, ranging from trait to transformational leadership styles. The shifts from one style to another have demonstrated some weaknesses of each style and led to the societal rejection of certain styles in response to environmental changes. This study aimed at introducing a new akhlaq leadership style involving four schools and four leaders at Malang Elementary Islamic excellent school. Data were collected using interview, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using qualitative analyze descriptive. The results show that there is significant difference in akhlaq leadership practices according to understanding, appreciation, and experience. However, there exists significant relationship between akhlaq leadership and principal’s working experience. For the principal’s leadership practice priority, the researcher has found that community development is the most commonly practiced akhlaq leadership dimension by the principals. It is followed by the demonstration of fairness, sincerity, respect and serving other dimensions. The major implication is that experienced principals frequently practiced akhlaq leadership compared to less experienced principals, and those who are on the verge of retirement. Hence, the selection of principals should be based their achievement, not seniority in the education service. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إدخال أسلوب القيادة الأخلاقية الذي يشمل أربع مدارس وأربعة قادة في المدرسة الإسلامية المتكاملة الابتدائية (SDIT) مالانج. يتم جمع البيانات عن طريق المقابلة والملاحظة والوثائق. تم تحليل البيانات مع التحليل النوعي الوصفي. أظهرت النتائج وجود اختلافات كبيرة في ممارسة القيادة الأخلاقية وفق الفهم والتقدير والخبرة. وجد الباحثون أن تنمية المجتمع هي البعد الأكثر شيوعًا في القيادة التي يمارسها المدير. تبع ذلك إظهار العدالة والإخلاص والاحترام والموقف من الخدمة. وهذا يعني أن الرؤساء ذوي الخبرة غالباً ما يطبقون القيادة الأخلاقية مقارنةً بالمديرين الأقل خبرة أو الأشخاص الذين تقاعدوا تقريبًا. لذلك ، يجب أن يستند اختيار الرؤساء على إنجازاتهم وليس على الأقدمية في الخدمات التعليمية.
