Abstract

This article discusses the importance of understanding language development at an early age and how a psycholinguistic approach can provide a strong foundation in designing effective English language education for children at this crucial stage in their lives. The approach in this article involves analyzing the literature and tracing empirical studies related to language development in early childhood using psycholinguistic approaches. Data were analyzed to explore the role of this approach in English language learning at this critical developmental stage. And the result is that the integration of psycholinguistic approaches in children's English education at an early age shows great potential in facilitating language development effectively. By understanding and applying psycholinguistic principles, educators can create a supportive and meaningful learning environment, enabling children to better achieve their language potential.

Abstract

This article discusses the community service activities carried out in Ngusikan Village through training and the implementation of a web-based population application. This activity aims to increase the efficiency of population data management in the village. The program includes training for village officials and launching a user-friendly web-based application designed to simplify the recording and management of population data. The results show that village officials can operate the application well, contributing to the improvement of public services and administrative management in Ngusikan Village.

Abstract

The criminal justice system of Juvenile has not have an obvious regulation yet. It neither formulated the legal criminal action of material. The legal formal in Juvenile Criminal Justice System has been interdependently it doubts the certainty of law as well. It does not have an equal perception of paradigm among the legal officers. The judges just consider the civil law system instead of the substantial justice for juveniles. The juvenile justice system in Indonesia does not yet have a clear legal substance, the juvenile justice law and the juvenile justice system do not formulate clear materials, the statutory law in the juvenile justice process still requires interdependence and obscures the value of legal certainty. There has not been a strong perception and equality of paradigms in the circles of legal freedom (Investigators, Public Prosecutors, Judges, Avocados and Implementers of Criminal Decisions in Children's Prison) in the discussion of correct child law. The lack of infrastructure in the juvenile justice process is also a legal problem. Enforcement of juvenile justice is still shackled by the debate on the civil law system which is more oriented to legal certainty over the value of substantive justice. The justice paradigm is still highlighted in the normative juridical aspects of the sociological juridical. The Integrated Criminal Justice System is not going well. Infra structure of children which is still not feasible. There is no clear philosophical foundation in the juvenile justice process.

Abstract

Automated vehicles are increasingly being researched and developed to reduce accident rates. The braking system is an integral part of the safety factor in the vehicle. One of the development systems in braking on vehicles is the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). ABS is a vehicle b that prevents the wheels from locking during sudden braking. The research was conducted by modelling and designing the ABS braking system using SIMULINK software on MATLAB. This research was conducted by varying the coefficient of braking friction on dry asphalt, wet asphalt, dry soil, and wet soil by paying attention to the braking distance. In the first test, the first test of the non-ABS system sets 0.9. The results were obtained with the shortest braking distance of 20 meters and the farthest, 34.5 meters. As for the results with ABS, the shortest braking distance is 17.95 meters, and the farthest is 27 meters. From the analysis that has been done, it is found that the ABS is better than the non-ABS system. This is because ABS regulates the braking calliper and is adjusted to the vehicle’s dynamics instead of statically. When there is a difference in vehicle speed with different wheels too far (while the wheels will lock), the calliper on the brakes will open and close dynamically, unlike non-ABS

Abstract

The need for electrical energy is very high, but fossil power plants are running low. Consequently, innovations in alternative energy sources are increasing, including sea waves. The geographical location of Indonesia, which is a country with several islands and is accompanied by several beaches, has the potential to bring up innovations in alternative renewable energy, namely wave power plants. In Indonesia, several regions have used sea wave power plants with the OWC (Oscillating Water Column) system. Therefore, this study conducted an experimental OWC test of a piston and turbin as combination mechanism in a water wave power plant by combining the number of pistons and turbines in 3 variations, i.e., 1 piston with 2 turbines, 1 piston with 1 turbine, and 2 pistons with 1 turbine. This experiment compared the effects of the combination of the number of pistons and turbines on the torque, voltage rotation, mechanical power, electrical power, and efficiency of the three combinations. The research results indicated that the combination of 1 piston and 1 turbine produced the highest torque of 4.73 Nm, while the combination of 1 piston and 2 turbines yielded 0.76 Nm, and 2 pistons and 1 turbine generated 4.47 Nm. Out of the three combinations, the highest electrical and mechanical power occurred in the combination of 1 piston and 1 turbine at 8 watts and 298.4 joules per second, respectively, with a voltage of 0.89663 volts, a rotation of 603 rpm, and an efficiency of 10%.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of occultism. Here, the author focuses on the two religions, Islam and Christianity, because both are the most followed religions in Indonesia, so they significantly impact the understanding of the Occult in society. Therefore, the formulation of the problem in this paper is the views of Islam and Christianity in understanding the Occult and the differences and similarities between Islam and Christianity in narrating the Occult in their holy books, both the Qur'an and the Bible. This research is qualitative, library research that accumulates documentation data. The comparative study used in this article aims to analyze the differences and similarities in the narratives of Islam and Christianity in understanding the Occult. The results of this study are: First, in the Qur'an, occult events occur in the event of the prophet Musa (Q.S. Al-A'raf: 109-120), where there is mention of the word magic, witch. In the Bible, the term occult is not explicitly found, but as in 1 Cor. 8:4-7 regarding the rejection of meat sacrificed to idols, for there is no God but God. Second, there is a difference between the terms in the Qur'an and the Bible about the Occult. The Qur'an mentions magic, while the Bible is another Allah that claims to understand an object or to bind himself to an angel. The similarities between Islam and Christianity both agree with the rejection of the Occult.

Abstract

Perkembangan zaman dan teknologi yang semakin maju, tuntutan terhadap dunia pendidikan berbarengan dengan tuntutan kemajuan tersebut, pendidikan dituntut untuk berdinamis, oleh karena Pendidikan merupakan bentuk paling substansi dalam kehidupan manusia. Selain itu juga, faktanya semakin nampak bahwa pendidikan Islam selama ini dilakukan dengan melalui metode lama (ceramah) yang lebih banyak (dominan). Sehingga menimbulkan penilaian atau stigmatisasi adanya kebekuan (stagnasi) konsep Pendidikan Islam yang menyebabkan pendidikan Islam kian tertinggal. Selain itu, penggunaan metode pembelajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar yang digunakan diantaranya metode ceramah, tanya jawab, demonstrasi, diskusi dan pemberian tugas dan metode latihan dirasakan perlu adanya penyegaran agar peserta didik/siswa tidak merasa bosan dengan proses pembelajaran. Melalui kegiatan gerakan literasi digital diharapkan menjadi langkah awal bagi peserta didik/siswa dan guru-guru di MTS AiAi dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran khususnya Pendidikan Islam. Oleh karenanya, diharapkan pengabdian ini dapat menjadi solusi konkret terhadap moderasi pendidikan islam di MTS AiAi. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini terbagi menjadi 3 tahapan kegiatan yaitu tahapan persiapan, pemberian materi dan pasca pelaksanaan kegiatan, dengan estimasi waktu pelaksanaan kurang lebih selama 4 bulan dari bulan Juni - September 2024. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan sosialisasi dan edukasi kepada murid-murid dan guru-guru MTS AiAi di Sungaiselan mengenai pembelajaran literasi digital di Era Modern pada Pelajaran Pendidikan islam.

Abstract

Jelitik Village is one of the Villages located in Sungailiat District, Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province which has considerable tourism potential. This tourism potential can be used to improve the local economy of the community. The development of this tourism potential is also in line with the direction of the Bangka Regency government in the establishment of a Special Economic Zone (KEK) which includes Jelitik Village. This potential should be presented digitally so that it can be accessed by all citizens. This service activity aims to explore the type of potential of the village/sub-district so as to encourage the independence of the community in the village through digital-based community empowerment. Socialization techniques to the community are an option in realizing this service activity by involving all village officials and PKK management in Jelitik Village. In addition, identification and analysis of partner needs are also needed before the implementation of this service activity. The results obtained based on the results of the analysis were that participants tended to give very agreeable and agreed answers about the benefits of the activity, the suitability of the theme, the clarity of the material and the adequacy of the infrastructure used during this service activity and there was one participant who answered disagreeing about the clarity of the material. In addition, from the results of the questionnaire analysis, it can be seen that the highest percentage is at 89%, namely respondents who answered yes to question 1. With the implementation of this socialization, the people of Jelitik are beginning to realize the importance of using digital technology in managing tourism potential. Based on the results of the analysis, with the implementation of this socialization, the people of Jelitik are beginning to realize the importance of using digital technology in managing tourism potential.

Abstract

Local initiatives in improving village conditions, starting from social, cultural and economic aspects as a form of community concern and sovereignty over all potential human resources and natural resources. A serious challenge faced by local communities is to ensure balance and sustainability of the local economy. Development could be a threat to local communities, but on the other hand it is an opportunity to build an independent village. Ignoring former mining or tin mining areas is not a sign that there is no guarantee of prosperity, it should be a serious challenge in developing villages. One area that is capable of innovation and creativity in local economic development is the Perlang Tourism Village. This area later became one of the icons and tourist destinations in the Bangka Belitung Islands. This research aims to find out the roots of local initiatives to develop post-mining areas, local initiative models, and how various interests in the local area meet, so as to create a Tourism Village. The approach taken is to use a Deliberative Democracy frame in the Perlang Village community, involving several important village actors, namely the Village Government, Community Leaders, Pokdarwis, and interested actors.

Abstract

Desa Kramat merupakan desa di Kecamatan Bungah, Kabupaten Gresik yang berada di wilayah mengare yang memilki sumber daya alam dan sumber daya manusianya, desa ini memiliki potensi UMKM yang luar biasa. Kebanyakan orang di desa bekerja sebagai nelayan, tukang kebun, dan tambak ikan. Selain itu, penduduk memiliki kelompok usaha yang menghasilkan berbagai makanan ringan dari ikan, seperti krupuk ikan. Bahan campuran krupuk adalah ikan rucah yang diperoleh dari nelayan dan panen di tambak, biasanya dibuang sebagai pakan ternak, tetapi masyarakat kreatif untuk mengolah ikan dengan digilas atau ditumbuk sampai halus dan kemudian digunakan sebagai bahan tambahan dalam pembuatan krupuk dan makanan ringan. Proses penghalusan ikan mempunyai permasalahan dikapasitas dan efisiensi waktu, kegiatan pengabdian memberikan solusi pembuatan mesin penggiling dan penghancur yang memungkinkan pengolahan ikan rucah secara cepat, lebih efisien, dan lebih produktif. Mesin ini sederhana dengan ukuran lebih kecil, dan memiliki motor bertenaga maksimum 1,5 HP. Mesin memiliki mekanisme kerja silinder yang berputar dan digerakkan oleh motor penggerak dan sistem transmisi, sehingga sangat efektif untuk menepungkan segala jenis daging ikan secara cepat dan hasil yang maksimal serta menghemat biaya pemeliharaan. Mesin penggiling daging ikan rucah mampu memproduksi 60 kg/jam, sehingga mengurangi masalah kapasitas bahan ikan rucah dalam meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas produksi krupuk ikan.
