Abstract

Engine stand is an iron frame used as an engine mount. The working principle of an engine stand is to facilitate engine maintenance and repairs. Based on a case study conducted by the researcher, it was found that Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang Automotive Workshop did not yet have an engine stand, especially for the Suzuki ST 100 engine. This is also an obstacle when students carry out maintenance and repair practicums. The purpose of this study is to make it easier for students to carry out maintenance and repairs on the engine, so that the Suzuki ST 100 can be operated again as a learning medium for practicums. The place where the Engine Stand was made was at the Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic Automotive Workshop which was carried out from May to August 2024. The method in this study was to assemble the components on the frame, then install the engine on the engine stand that had been made, then overhaul the engine to ensure that the engine could work properly. The test results obtained were that all components could function normally again and the engine stand was safe to use because the strength of the engine stand frame to withstand an engine load of 90 kg, there was no change either bent or broken. The conclusion of this study is that the engine stand can be used as a strong engine mount and the Suzuki ST 100 engine can run normally after making several repairs and replacing its components.

Abstract

This research observed the dialogue between the characters in The Karate Kid Movie which consists of characters from America (West) and China (East). It has purpose to find out the kinds of politeness strategies which are used by the main characters, and describe how and why they are used by the main characters. This research is qualitative research. The data are in the form of utterances. There are many politeness strategies which are used by the main characters. In the bald on record strategy, there are three utterances found. Then, there are twelve utterances that include positive politeness strategy, while there is one utterance that includes negative politeness strategy, and there is one utterance contains off record strategy. It can be concluded that the main characters often use positive politeness strategies in their conversation. The result of this study can be concluded that the politeness strategies are important to be used in life. It means that it can be used to avoid and minimize the Face Threatening Acts which a speaker makes. Besides, it can be used to avoid misunderstanding in the conversation of daily life.

Abstract

The Free Nutritional Meals (MBG) Program faces a major challenge in the readiness of human resources (HR) implementers at various levels. This study aims to analyze HR development strategies in the implementation of the MBG Program and formulate a HR development model relevant to the program's needs and future challenges. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review. The analyzed literature was selected based on criteria of relevance to the MBG topic, public sector HR development, nutrition policy, as well as scientific publications and official government documents published in the last ten years. The data analysis technique was carried out through content analysis with the stages of grouping themes, interpretation, and synthesis of findings. The results of the study indicate that HR development in the MBG Program needs to focus on improving technical competency, strengthening digital competency, developing collaborative leadership, establishing a work culture with integrity, and implementing results-based performance evaluation. The resulting HR development model integrates a human capital development approach with the principles of effective public governance to support the sustainability of the MBG Program.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is a process of interaction between students and a learning environment that has been arranged by educators which is useful for fostering and nurturing in a systematic and planned manner in preparing students to know, understand, appreciate, believe and practice the teachings of the Islamic religion, accompanied by guidance to respect adherents. other religions in relation to inter-religious harmony to realize national unity and integrity through the basic teachings of hadith. The aim of this research is to determine the concept of Islamic education regarding early childhood education. The research method used is literature study. Source (https://scholargoogle.com) is used to search for data in the form of journals and books. The findings show that Islamic education for early childhood is important in fostering a sense of seriousness and requires serious attention so that the characteristics of Islamic education for early childhood are of particular concern because early childhood are still vulnerable in playing so that character in determining appropriate learning is something that is important. good at paying attention to the lessons given to the child. In principle, the main points of education that must be given to children (the curriculum) are nothing other than the teachings of Islam itself. Islamic teachings can be broadly grouped into three, namely creed, worship and morals. Early Childhood Education Methods in the Islamic Education Perspective are 1) Methods by Example, 2) Education by training and practice, 3) Educating through games, songs and stories, 4) Educating by Targhib and Tarhib, 5) Praise and Flattery, 6 ) Instill good habits
