Abstract

This paper seeks to analyze the impact of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach learning approach on the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills in third-grade pupils at SDN 104202 Bandar Setia. This research employed a quantitative method with a nonrandomized pretest-posttest control group design, involving two groups: the control group (III A) without treatment and the experimental group (III B) that received the RME learning approach, with a total sample of 50 students. Both groups were administered pre-test and post-test instruments to measure problem-solving and critical thinking skills. The findings revealed that the application of the RME learning approach significantly improved both skills with p < 0.05. These results confirm that RME is effective in enhancing mathematics learning quality through real-life contexts and students’ direct experiences. The implication highlights the importance of integrating RME in elementary mathematics learning as an alternative strategy to foster critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, as well as providing a reference for future instructional innovations.

Abstract

Research on the identification of children experiencing psychological disorders due to bullying in elementary school students is important because it can help identify and address mental health problems that often go undetected in children who experience bullying, and can provide a basis for the development of effective intervention programs to prevent and address the impact worse than bullying in children. The aim of the research is to identify psychological symptoms that appear in children who are victims of bullying, evaluate the long-term impact of bullying on children's mental health, and design appropriate intervention strategies to help children who experience psychological disorders due to bullying. The research method uses a quantitative and qualitative approach. The selected population is all elementary school students who experience bullying, while the selected sample is a small portion of the population which is represented by children who have experienced psychological symptoms due to bullying. Data analysis techniques that can be used are descriptive analysis to analyze quantitative data, and thematic analysis to analyze qualitative data. The results of research on identifying children who experience psychological disorders due to bullying in elementary school students show that children who are victims of bullying have a higher risk of experiencing psychological symptoms such as depression, anxiety, fear, social isolation, and other behavioral problems. The long-term effects of bullying on a child's mental health include lowered self-esteem, decreased academic achievement, difficulties in building interpersonal relationships, and a higher risk of developing mental health disorders in the future

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), E-System, and the Role of the Account Representative on taxpayer compliance at the West Makassar KPP. The study's population consists of all taxpayers registered at the West Makassar KPP, with a sample size of 88 taxpayers selected for analysis. To ensure the validity and reliability of the questionnaire results, thorough testing was conducted, including classical assumption tests such as normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. The primary analytical method employed is multiple linear regression analysis. The findings reveal that the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) exerts a significant positive impact on taxpayer compliance, indicating that when taxpayers perceive technology as beneficial and user-friendly, they are more likely to comply with tax regulations. Conversely, the E-System demonstrates a significant negative effect on taxpayer compliance, suggesting potential issues with its implementation or usability that hinder compliance. Furthermore, the role of the Account Representative is found to have a significant positive effect on taxpayer compliance, highlighting the importance of personal interaction and support in facilitating tax compliance. Overall, the study emphasizes the critical factors influencing taxpayer compliance, providing insights that could inform policy decisions and the development of strategies to enhance compliance at the West Makassar KPP. These findings are crucial for improving tax administration and ensuring greater adherence to tax obligations among registered taxpayers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of time budget pressure, auditor experience, and professional skepticism to detect fraudulent financial reports and professional ethics as a moderating variable. The population of this research consists of Public Accountant Firms in East Jakarta. In this research, 111 respondents were selected using the convenience sampling method. Data were analyzed using the multiple linear regression model and Moderate Regression Analyze (MRA). The results showed that time budget pressure, auditor experience, and professional skepticism have a significant and positive effect on detecting fraudulent financial reports. However, professional ethics cannot moderate the impact of time budget pressure, auditor experience, and professional skepticism to detect fraudulent financial reports.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Service Quality, Price and Location on Customer Satisfaction at Bangi Café Kota Wisata Cibubur. The method carried out in this study is a quantitative method. The author used data collection techniques with questionnaires and given to several people who have become customers of Bangi Café itself. From data processing that has been carried out and obtained samples to 50 respondents (using convenient technique). Adjusted R-Square was obtained at 0.754. This means that the variables of service quality, price and location are able to explain 75.4% of their influence on the dependent latent variable.  The research results show that the price and service quality variables have a significant effect on customer satisfaction, but the location factor does not have an influence on customer satisfaction. Prices have a strong influence on young people whose pockets are still limited or dependent on their parents

Abstract

The scientific method is the main foundation in the world of scientific research. The scientific method has been systematically arranged, structured and based on evidence which is used by scientists to conduct scientific research. This article discusses the basic principles of the scientific method, its steps, why you should follow the basic principles and steps of the scientific method, and explains how the scientific method can be integrated into physics education to create a learning environment that focuses on experimentation, observation, and data analysis. This method also encourages students to develop research and creative thinking skills. The aim of the scientific method is to obtain evidence of real and tested results from a problem, so that it can add new discoveries for researchers and new knowledge for the world. Explaining a physics curriculum based on the scientific method can increase students' interest in science and prepare them to face the challenges of our increasingly interconnected and science-based society. This article is based on the results of a previous review of related journals which provides a research basis and in-depth information about the role of the scientific method, then connects it to physics education.

Abstract

Cikolelet Village is, as a tourist village, able to stimulate the economy of its residents. Many economic activities have grown due to the impact of many visitors to the village. Apart from natural tourism, many micro and household businesses support the circulation of economic and financial activities. Unfortunately, amidst the success of attracting tourists and increasing sales of locally produced goods, transaction payments are still conventional. This community service activity aims to introduce a digital payment system through QRIS to facilitate payments and increase sales. The service method is divided into three parts. They are planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Planning stage was done by the University LPPM team, from coordination with partners and collaboration between universities. The implementation phase by the member team consists of material presentations, discussions, questions, and answers, as well as direct practice in registering for QRIS. The evaluation stage was carried out to determine the level of interest of business actors in using QRIS. The result was that only around 34.6 percent of participants were interested and registered, while 65.4 percent were less concerned. Along with the era of technology and digitalization, people are required to be technologically literate in order to be able to compete. Services, both products and services as well as supporting facilities, must be improved to facilitate and increase mutual comfort.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media based on bilingual animation video for Past Experience material and to determine the effectiveness and feasibility of this media. The research method used is R&D which has been modified into seven stages, namely Research and Data Collection, Planning and Data Collection, Initial Product Form Development, Field Trial, Revision, Validation, Product Revision. The results in this study, the effectiveness of this learning media can be seen from the acquisition of pretest and posttest scores, namely pretest of 11% and posttest of 42%, which is the average value obtained from the number of students who reach the KKM. Then presented using a formula and from the calculation which means that forty-two percent of students have achieved the KKM score after using the media that has been developed by the researcher. The bilingual animated video-based learning media developed in this study was categorized as "very feasible". The assessment was obtained from the product validation results obtained by the validator, namely media experts with the results obtained as much as 88%, material experts with a score of 96% then linguists with a score of 88%.

Abstract

Diglosia adalah fenomena bahasa dimana dua bahasa atau dua variasi bahasa digunakan secara bersamaan dalam satu masyarakat, tetapi dengan fungsi dan konteks yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan diglosia dalam berkomunikasi sehari-hari masyarakat desa wawonduru. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di desa wawonduru dengan subjek penelitianterdiri dari tokoh masyarakat, guru, tenaga pendidik, dan warga setempat yang dipilih secara purposive, dengan jumlah informan yang tidak terbatas dan lebih menekankan pada kedalaman informasi yang diperoleh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tiga teknik yaitu observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan sosiolinguistik dengan langkah-langkah seperti kategorisasi data, analisis konteks sosial, dan penyusunan narasi deskriptif untuk menggambarkan pola penggunaan bahasa dalam masyarakat. Berdasarkan analisis penggunaan diglosia di Desa Wawonduru, dapat disimpulkan bahwa fenomena diglosia terlihat jelas dalam pemisahan penggunaan bahasa tinggi (H) dan bahasa rendah (L). Bahasa Indonesia berfungsi sebagai bahasa tinggi yang digunakan dalam situasi formal dan simbol status sosial, sementara bahasa daerah Bima berfungsi sebagai bahasa rendah yang dominan dalam percakapan sehari-hari, mempererat hubungan sosial dan mencerminkan identitas budaya. Pengaruh pendidikan dan perubahan sosial turut memengaruhi penggunaan bahasa, di mana generasi muda mulai mengadopsi bahasa Indonesia dalam konteks formal namun tetap mempertahankan bahasa daerah dalam interaksi informal dan keluarga

Abstract

Latar belakang: Menstruasi adalah perdarahan periodik normal yang keluar melalui uterus dan merupakan tanda dari kematangan fungsi fisiologis pada wanita. Menstruasi adalah periode yang rentan terhadap suatu gangguan, salah satunya adalah dismenore atau nyeri sebelum atau selama menstruasi. Dismenore ditandai dengan nyeri kram pada perut bagian bawah yang disebabkan oleh kejang otot uterus yang dapat membatasi aktivitas normal dan memerlukan pengobatan. Sebuah terapi non-farmakologis untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan cara penerapan abdominal stretching ecercise. Tujuan: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan gambaran asuhan keperawatan pada remaja dengan menerapkan abdominal stretching exercise untuk mengurangi nyeri dismenore. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain berupa metode studi kasus, adapun teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Pengambilan sampel penelitian inidilakukan pada seorang responden remaja putri yang berusia 16 tahun, mengalami dismenore dengan skala nyeri pada score 6. Pengambilan data menggunakan metode observasi partisipatif, wawancara tidak terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah ditabulasi kemudian dianalisis memakai domain analisis. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan abdominal streching exercise mampu menurunkan skala dismenore, dengan penurunan skala nyeri dari skala 6 menjadi skala 3 (sedang ke ringan) dalam waktu 3 hari intervensi. Kesimpulan: Abdominal streching exercise dapat meningkatkan kekuatan otot, daya tahan dan fleksibilitas otot disekitar perut menjadi rileks, meregangkan dan terjadi pelebaran sehingga dapat melancarkan sirkulasi darah dan oksigen pada otot di sekitar perut yang dapat menyebabkan nyeri berkurang. Oleh karena itu, abdominal streching exercise dapat direkomendasikan bagi remaja dengan dismenore.
