Abstract

Background: In the era of digital transformation, Big Data Analytics Capabilities (BDAC) have emerged as critical drivers of firm performance. However, the mechanisms through which BDAC translates into sustainable competitive advantage particularly the mediating roles of strategic agility, entrepreneurial innovation, and organizational learning remain underexplored. Objective: This systematic literature review aims to synthesize and analyze the interrelationships among BDAC, strategic agility, entrepreneurial innovation, organizational learning, and firm performance within multinational corporations (MNCs), with a specific focus on emerging markets. Methods: Drawing on the Dynamic Capabilities View (DCV), this review follows PRISMA guidelines and synthesizes findings from 42 peer-reviewed articles published between 2019 and 2025, sourced from Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. A thematic analysis was conducted to identify key patterns, mediating mechanisms, and contextual factors. Results: The findings reveal that BDAC functions as a dynamic capability that enables sensing, seizing, and transforming processes. Strategic agility serves as both a direct and indirect driver of performance, mediated by entrepreneurial innovation and organizational learning. Contextual factors such as market dynamism, organizational culture, and digital infrastructure significantly moderate these relationships. The review identifies that BDAC-driven agility is particularly impactful in volatile emerging markets. Conclusion and Implications: This review contributes to theory by positioning BDAC as a strategic enabler within the DCV framework and clarifying the micro-foundations linking analytics to performance. Practically, it offers guidance for managers in emerging-market MNCs to cultivate data-driven, agile cultures and align analytics initiatives with strategic goals. Future research should employ longitudinal and cross-industry designs to strengthen causal inference and explore underexamined moderators

Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing users' continuance intention (CI) in fintech mobile payment services, particularly in the post-COVID-19 era. With the rapid adoption of digital payment methods, the research examines key determinants such as perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust, security and privacy, satisfaction, and habit. An explanatory quantitative research design was employed, analyzing data from 101 respondents. The results reveal that habit and satisfaction are the primary drivers of continuance intention, while traditional factors such as ease of use and trust become less significant in the post-adoption phase. These findings challenge established models and highlight the shift in user behavior towards habitual use and emotional satisfaction. This study contributes to the literature by offering an integrated model for understanding user retention in the fintech sector and provides practical insights for fintech providers to enhance customer engagement and foster long-term loyalty.

Abstract

Objective: This study examines the mediating role of customer trust in the relationship between Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Customer Retention within Indonesia's B2B logistics sector, specifically PT Pos Indonesia's enterprise segment, and explores implications for vocational education curriculum development in logistics programs. Method: Using a descriptive-verificative design, data were collected from 200 enterprise customers through a validated questionnaire using a 7-point semantic differential scale. CRM was measured by 13 indicators (communication, problem-solving, complaint handling), Customer Trust by 5 indicators (benevolence, integrity, competence), and Customer Retention by 4 indicators (renewal intention, switching resistance). Data analysis utilized PLS-SEM with bootstrapping (5,000 subsamples). CRM indicators were mapped against Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) competency standards. Results: CRM significantly enhances Customer Trust (β = 0.880, t = 68.850, p < 0.001) and Customer Retention (β = 0.702, t = 12.030, p < 0.001). Customer Trust positively influences retention (β = 0.245, t = 4.361, p < 0.001) and functions as a partial mediator (β = 0.215, t = 4.440, p < 0.001). The model explains 85.4% of variance in trust and 77.5% in retention. Novelty: This study uniquely bridges industry practice and educational theory by identifying specific CRM competencies, communication quality, collaborative problem-solving, and complaint handling, that should be systematically integrated into vocational education curricula, providing evidence-based recommendations for preparing future logistics professionals.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce in Indonesia has increased the strategic role of e-logistics services in shaping customer experience and competitiveness, particularly in West Java as one of the largest logistics markets. This study aims to examine the effect of e-logistics service quality on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey method. Data were collected from 200 e-logistics service users in West Java through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results reveal that e-logistics service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. However, e-logistics service quality does not directly influence customer loyalty. Further analysis confirms that customer satisfaction fully mediates the relationship between e-logistics service quality and customer loyalty. These findings indicate that improving service quality alone is insufficient to foster customer loyalty unless it is translated into perceived satisfaction. This study highlights the strategic role of customer satisfaction as a key mechanism linking service quality and loyalty in the e-logistics context. The results provide theoretical contributions to service quality and loyalty models in digital logistics, as well as practical implications for e-logistics providers and e-commerce platforms in designing customer-oriented service strategies to enhance long-term customer retention in West Java.

Abstract

Indonesia’s coffee shop industry has experienced rapid expansion, driven by shifting consumer lifestyles and intensified market competition. In this digitally mediated competitive landscape where social media promotions, online ordering platforms, and e-wallet-based discounts shape consumer engagement understanding the determinants of purchase decisions becomes critical. The mediating pathways through which marketing mix elements influence these decisions remain insufficiently examined, particularly the role of brand image in emerging markets. This explanatory quantitative study employs Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to investigate the direct and indirect effects of price discount, store atmosphere, service quality, and product assortment on purchase decisions, with brand image as the mediating variable. Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires from 100 purposively sampled respondents in Bandung, Indonesia, who had recent coffee shop purchase experience. Results demonstrate that product assortment significantly influences purchase decisions directly, while price discount, store atmosphere, and service quality show no significant direct effects. However, price discount substantially impacts purchase decisions through brand image mediation, with the model explaining 96.3% of brand image variance and 87.4% of purchase decision variance. These findings advance strategic marketing theory by demonstrating that brand image functions as a critical mediating mechanism consistent with the Stimulus, Organism and Response (S–O–R) framework transforming price-based stimuli into actual purchase behavior. Practically, coffee shop managers should implement dual-focus strategies: cultivating brand perceptions through strategic discounting while simultaneously diversifying product offerings to stimulate purchase decisions directly.

Abstract

This study investigates product differentiation strategies employed by Indonesian green Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through qualitative descriptive methodology. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with founder-owners of five green MSMEs in fashion and handicraft sectors across Java, analyzed using thematic coding (Braun & Clarke, 2006), SWOT-IFE/EFE evaluation, and QSPM prioritization. Findings revealed that effective differentiation requires holistic integration across Marketing Mix elements, characterized by three core dimensions: universal natural and upcycled material sourcing (100% adoption), premium pricing with 2 to 5 times markups, and export-oriented positioning with 70 to 90 percent international revenue. Strategic analysis positioned enterprises in the "Hold and Maintain" quadrant (IFE = 2.63; EFE = 2.55), suggesting selective growth. The study identifies three structural paradoxes constraining development: certification barriers, premium pricing traps excluding mass markets, and digital hesitancy limiting e-commerce engagement. Strategic priorities include Green Export Acceleration (TAS 2.60), National Standard Harmonization with Subsidized Certification (TAS 2.54), and Tiered Product Development (TAS 2.52). These findings extend differentiation theory (Porter, 1985; Barney, 1991) by demonstrating that resource constraints fundamentally alter differentiation mechanisms for green enterprises in emerging economies.

Abstract

The freight forwarding sector holds a pivotal role in facilitating international trade by coordinating cross-border goods movement and integrating diverse logistics functions. Strategic choices and organizational capabilities are critical in enabling firms to sustain competitiveness. Within this context, Incoterm selection combined with workforce competence is recognized as a central determinant of competitiveness. Accordingly, this study investigates the interplay between Incoterm decisions and human resource proficiency in strengthening the competitive advantage of Indonesian freight forwarding companies. Adopting a quantitative design, data were gathered from freight forwarders and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess the proposed relationships. The findings reveal that both Incoterm selection and human resource competence have significant and positive influences on competitive advantage. Moreover, results suggest that competitive advantage is reinforced through the alignment of Incoterm choices with risk management, transportation modes, and negotiation capacity, while concurrently developing personnel skilled in customs procedures, global logistics systems, and intercultural communication. This research contributes to logistics and supply chain management literature by integrating contractual decision-making perspectives with resource-based theory. The study provides practical insights for freight forwarders in enhancing their market position within the global trade environment.

Abstract

Broiler farming is a strategically important sector within Indonesia’s national food industry, driven by steadily rising per capita chicken meat consumption. This study aims to (1) evaluate the economic feasibility of the broiler farming enterprise “AA Farm” in Tanggulun Village, Kadungora District, Garut Regency, and (2) formulate a comprehensive marketing strategy to support its sustainable growth. A single-case-study design with a quantitative descriptive approach was employed. Primary data were gathered through in-depth interviews, direct field observations, and structured questionnaires, while secondary data were drawn from company financial records, market reports, and official government publications. Economic feasibility was assessed using Total Cost (TC), Total Revenue (TR), profit (π), Revenue–Cost (R/C) Ratio, and Break-Even Point (BEP) analyses. The findings reveal that “AA Farm” achieves its Break-Even Point at the 17th production cycle (≈17 months), with an annual Return on Investment (ROI) of 47% and an R/C Ratio of 1.40, confirming strong operational profitability. The marketing strategy, built on the Marketing Mix (4P) framework and SWOT analysis, encompasses targeted market segmentation across four consumer groups, cost-plus competitive pricing, a multi-channel distribution system, integrated digital and traditional promotion, and a customer relationship management (CRM) programme. These findings demonstrate that “AA Farm” is economically feasible and possesses substantial potential for sustainable growth when supported by disciplined marketing implementation and modern operational management.
