Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas X MAN Prabumulih. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan non-equivalent control group pre-test and post-test design. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling, dimana kelas X1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pada proses pembelajaran, kelas eksperimen diajar dengan menggunakan model learning cycle 5E dan kelas kontrol diajar dengan model konvensional. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa N-gain rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 0,7 yang termasuk kategori sedang dan N-gain rata-rata untuk kelas kontrol adalah 0,5 yang termasuk kategori sedang. Secara statistik dengan perhitungan menggunakan Uji-t pada taraf signifikan (α) = 0,05 diperoleh thitung = 4,14 sedangkan ttabel = 1,67 terlihat bahwa thitung >ttabel. Oleh karena itu H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas X MAN Prabumulih.

Abstract

Has successfully developed the student worksheets (LKS) 5E learning cycle based on the subject matter and Hooke's law of elasticity class X SMA valid and practical. The process of developing student worksheet (LKS) through the steps of research development model based product development Rowntree, include: (1) the planning stage of the needs analysis worksheets, requirements analysis learning cycle 5E, analysis of material needs elasticity and Hooke's law (2) stage the development of the formulation of learning objectives, development topics, the drafting, production prototypes, and (3) the evaluation stage. At this stage of the evaluation, researchers used a model formative evaluation Tessmer and tailored to the needs of researchers, namely: (1) self-evaluation; (2) The expert review; (3) one-to-one; and (4) small group. Data collection techniques used in the form walkthrough (validation expert lecturer and teacher of physics), the questionnaire responses of students, and student activity observation. The results of the research development of student worksheet (LKS) showed that the results of the validation stage of expert reviews, the average ratings of 88.20 validator (category very valid), meaning the student worksheet (LKS) product developed by the researchers included in the category of very valid. The results of the questionnaire responses of students at the stage of one-to-one shows the average percentage of 82.37% (practical categories), and at the stage of a small group showed that average percentage of 90.88% (the category of very practical), means the student worksheet (LKS)product had a very practical according to student responses. The average percentage of student activity by 90% (the excellent category), meaning the student worksheet (LKS)product is excellent when used in learning physics. Based on the results of the study concluded that the student work product sheet (LKS) 5E learning cycle based on the subject matter and Hooke's law of elasticity class X SMA developed was valid and practical.

Abstract

Jembatan adalah suatu kontruksi yang berfungsi untuk meneruskan jalan melalui suatu rintangan, rintangan ini biasanya jalan lain yang berupa jalur air atau jalan lintas biasa. Pada umumnya jembatan yang direncanakan dapat berfungsi selama masa layan tertentu. Dalam masa layaknya jembatan memerlukan pemeliharaan, karena usia akan mengalami degradasi, baik disebabkan karena durabilitas material jembatan, kondisi lingkungan maupun bencana alam yang dapat mengurangi kemampuan layan tersebut. Jembatan adalah istilah umum untuk konstruksi yang dibangun sebagai jalur transportasi yang melintasi sungai, danau, rawa, jurang maupun rintangan lainnya. Tahapan penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu dengan melakukan studi literatur melalui jurnal yang terkait dengan materi, dengan pengamatan langsung  pada kontruksi jembatan gasing,dan pengolahan data dari hasil yang telah di dapatkan pada saat melakukan pengamatan langsung. Jembatan gasing laut merupakan jembatan yang berada di Gasing, Kecamatan Talang Kelapa, Kabupaten Banyuasin. Jembatan ini memiliki ukuran yang cukup panjang yang menghubungkan antara Desa Gasing (Talang Kelapa) dan Desa Muara Sugih (Tanjung Lago). Jembatan Gasing ini termasuk kedalam golongan jembatan kantilever. Jembatan kantilever adalah jembatan panjang yang mirip dengan jembatan sederhana yang terbuat dari batang pohon atau lempengan batu, tetapi penyangganya berada di tengah. Jembatan Gasing juga termasuk ke jenis jembatan dengan rangka baja.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused changes in the world educational system. The pandemic caused a rapid transition from face-to-face lectures to online lectures. The times of the Covid-19 pandemic or what is often called “the New Normal", are still ongoing today. Online lectures are expected not to reduce the Program Studi’s Graduate Learning Outcomes (GLO) of a course or not to reduce competencies that must be mastered by students. Lecturers as course supervisors must try to facilitate the student learning process with valid, and easy-to-use teaching materials. To meet the needs of these students, first, we must know the student's responses to the teaching materials, so that it can facilitate independent learning in students during these pandemic times. This research is developmental research that aims to produce digital handouts that can be accessed via cellphones or laptops and can be accessed both online and offline situations. The development model chosen in this research is the Rowntree model with Tessmer formative evaluation. The data was obtained through online questionnaires created in the google form and given to lecturers or students. The results showed that 100% of students had difficulties in learning nuclear physics introduction materials independently and 86% of them requested that the teaching materials should be provided with pictures, animations, and videos. Based on the needs analysis above, we develop a valid and practical STEM-based digital handout teaching materials about nuclear physics introduction

Abstract

This research had a purpose to result in student's activity sheet based on contextual teaching and learning toward the movement of heat subject that validate, practical. The research method was used to develop on 4d model. This research held on even semester in 2019 experts validated show that the student's activity sheet had been fulfilled valid criteria with 84.583% for material and design aspect is 82.5%. The small group trial resulted in an average value of 91, 18%. Abstract

Current technological advances, cellular phones or cellphones have been very developed so that they can be used in various fields, one of which is in the field of education which can be used as a source and educative learning media. In today's digital era, Indonesia also has several challenges in the field of education, one of which is that the majority of Indonesian students, especially those in elementary school, carry heavy books, which can interfere with their growth and health. The purpose of this research is to design and create a mobile phone application as a source and learning media that can be utilized by teachers, students or SMEs in the current digital era. This research uses R&D method using Rowntree development model. This ILTEC application provides several application modes, including student mode, teacher mode, student mode, and lecturer mode. Each mode has its own features that distinguish it from one mode to another. In student and student mode there are module features and learning media, while in teacher and lecturer mode there are RPP/RPS features, modules, and learning tools. Each of these features cannot be accessed freely by every user but must use the application coins owned by the user to be able to access

Abstract

Machine Learning is a subset of artificial intelligence (AI) that helps computers or teaching machines learn from all previous data and make intelligent decisions. Machine learning frameworks require capturing and maintaining a rich set of information and turning it into a structured knowledge base for different uses in various fields, one of which is in education. The purpose of this article is to answer the questions 1) Why is Machine Learning Important for Education? and 2) How is Machine Learning Utilized for Education? This article uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques with literature study. Based on the results of the literature study, machine learning in the field of education has many advantages and advantages, where teachers can save time in learning activities in the classroom. Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitas penggunaan handout digital dengan strategi question student have dalam perkuliahan daring pada mata kuliah pendahuluan fisika inti. Metode penelitian berupa eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen) desainnya one-group pretest-postest Desain berbantuan elearning dengan aplikasi zoom cloud meeting dan google meet. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif  kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengungkap sesuatu dengan apa adanya. Mengajar merupakan tugas utama dosen di Perguruan Tinggi sebagai bagian dari Tri Darma Pergururan Tinggi, dalam melaksanakan tugas ini tenaga pengajar selalu berkeinginan untuk memberikan sajian kepada mahasiswa dengan cara-cara yang memudahkan mahasiswa untuk memahami materi dan tidak membosankan. Pembelajaran yang bervariatif dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai usaha, salah satunya dengan menyediakan bahan ajar yang bervariatif  juga seperti handout digital yang dapat diakses dengan mudah tanpa internet, yang dilengkapi dengan video-video singkat untuk menambah penjelasan. Selain itu, penggunaan handout memiliki pengaruh yang kuat terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa dapat dilihat dari hasil pretest dan posttest melalui gain ternormalisasi dengan membandingkan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan handout digital. Penggunaan handout digital sebagai alternatif bahan ajar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sebesar 67,6%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa materi digital dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar pendahuluan fisika inti ada perkuliahan daring.

Abstract

Student worksheets are one sort of educational material intended to aid students' learning, explore experiences and ideas, and develop students' cognitive, psychomotor, and affective components. As a result, a study of the validity and applicability of the Student Worksheet on waves and sound content for junior high school students was done. The goal of this study was to see if the Student Worksheet was reliable and practical. The research design used in this study is a developmental study. A walkthrough and a questionnaire were employed as research tools. The validity test was said to be quite valid based on the average content aspect of 4.71, language 4.70, and design 4.78, according to the study's findings. While the practicality test was stated to be very practical, the results obtained one to one teacher on the average content aspect of 5, language 5, and design 5. One to one students obtained an average of 4.73 content aspect, 4.33 language, and 4 design ,55. The results of the practicality of the small group of teachers on the aspect of content are on average 4.11, language 4.66, and design 4.44. The small group of students obtained an average of 4.22 in the aspect of content, 4.52 in language, and 4.36 in design. So it can be concluded that the Student Worksheet material waves and sounds for junior high school is very valid and very practical. Furthermore, it can be used for the effectiveness test stage
