Abstract

This study develops a digital assessment instrument on the Socrative platform to measure high school students’ sustainability literacy on global warming within wetland ecosystems, supporting SDG 13 (Climate Action). Using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), the research involved: teacher needs analysis, design of 50 wetland-contextualized multiple-choice questions, validation by four environmental experts and three teachers, and trials with 125 students. Content Validity Ratio (CVR ≥ 0.99) confirmed 32 items as valid; 18 were revised for contextual alignment. The instrument showed very high reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.977), with 25 questions demonstrating good discrimination. While Socrative enhanced interactivity, teacher competence in digital tools requires improvement. The innovation lies in integrating understudied wetland contexts with sustainability literacy assessments, bridging technology (Socrative), local ecology, and SDG principles. Findings emphasize contextualized digital tools as catalysts for climate education and educator capacity building.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for the development of augmented reality (AR)-based learning media in the context of the palm oil industry to improve students' energy literacy and understanding of physics concepts at vocational high schools. The study used a survey method with a descriptive quantitative approach. The research subjects consisted of 62 tenth-grade students at the Sembawa State Agricultural Vocational High School, who were selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire that had been tested for content validity using Aiken's V index and for reliability using Cronbach's Alpha. The results showed that students had a high interest in learning physics, but their understanding of concepts and energy literacy was still in the moderate category. In addition, the learning media used were not yet able to optimally visualize physics processes in the context of the palm oil industry. These findings indicate the need to develop contextual, interactive, and relevant AR-based physics learning media for vocational education. This research provides practical implications in the form of recommendations for the design specifications of palm oil industry–based AR media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis komparatif terhadap konsep ruang dan waktu dalam perspektif Al-Qur'an dan Teori Relativitas Einstein. Meskipun sering dipandang sebagai dua entitas yang terpisah, integrasi antara teks teologis dan fisika modern penting untuk menjembatani pemahaman realitas yang komprehensif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis konten kualitatif dengan pendekatan komparatif untuk mengidentifikasi pola dalam ayat-ayat kosmologis dan literatur Teori Relativitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kerangka epistemologisnya berbeda, terdapat paralelisme konseptual yang kuat. Al-Qur'an menawarkan perspektif teosentris di mana ruang dan waktu terkait erat dengan kekuasaan Allah dan dimensi moral, sementara Teori Relativitas menjelaskan keduanya sebagai entitas fisik (spacetime) yang dipengaruhi oleh materi dan energi. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada sintesis interdisipliner yang mendalam, membuktikan bahwa sains modern dapat memperkuat penafsiran teks suci tanpa kehilangan otentisitas masing-masing.

Abstract

This study aims to map and synthesize research on the integration of indigenous knowledge in science education published between 2015 and 2025. A systematic literature network analysis (SLNA) was employed by combining PRISMA-guided screening with bibliometric and science mapping techniques. Data were retrieved from the Scopus database, yielding 667 initial records that were refined through duplicate removal, title and abstract screening, and full-text eligibility assessment based on predefined criteria. This process resulted in a final corpus of 56 core articles. Biblioshiny and VOSviewer were used to analyze publication trends, citation relationships, thematic structures, and bibliographic coupling patterns. The findings indicate a consistent growth in research output, largely concentrated in Anglophone countries, with emerging cross-regional collaboration. Three dominant research streams were identified: curriculum contextualization, environmental sustainability, and culturally sustaining pedagogies. Bibliographic coupling further reveals a distinction between established theoretical frameworks and emerging pedagogical and epistemological approaches. The study concludes that indigenous knowledge integration in science education represents a rapidly evolving research field and provides a systematic conceptual mapping to support more inclusive, context-sensitive, and epistemically plural science learning.

Purpose of the Study: This study investigates the initial needs of teachers for the development of interactive multimedia based on Augmented Reality (AR) for physics education, specifically in the context of kinetic gas theory. As part of development research at the preliminary study stage, the goal is to design innovative teaching tools that simplify complex physics concepts and enhance student engagement. Methodology: A survey-based research design was adopted, with data collected via questionnaires distributed to middle and high school physics teachers using the Google Form platform. The study examined teacher perspectives on AR-based learning media's necessity, usability, and potential impact in their classrooms. Main Findings: The results revealed a strong demand among physics teachers for AR-based interactive multimedia, highlighting its potential to address the challenges of teaching physics concepts often perceived as abstract and complex by students. Teachers emphasized the need for tools that make the learning process more engaging, interactive, and relatable. The findings also indicated that AR-based multimedia offers a promising solution, aligning with the growing integration of digital technology in education. Teachers noted that AR tools could increase efficiency, foster active learning, and cater to diverse learning styles, making physics more accessible and enjoyable. Novelty/Originality of the Study: This study contributes to the growing field of digital education by emphasizing the application of AR technology in physics learning. It provides a novel perspective on how AR can bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical understanding, fostering curiosity and deeper comprehension.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa diuji menggunakan pertanyaan pilihan ganda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu 132 siswa kelas X SMAN 22 Palembang. Instrumen keterampilan berpikir kritis dikembangkan berdasarkan indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis Ennis, yaitu: memberikan penjelasan dasar, membangun keterampilan dasar, menyimpulkan, membuat penjelasan lebih lanjut, strategi dan taktik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, jumlah persentase keseluruhan untuk kelima indikator berpikir kritis diperoleh hasil yang berbeda, untuk indikator memberikan penjelasan dasar diperoleh hasil keseluruhan persentase sebanyak 61%, Indikator membangun keterampilan dasar 67%, menyimpulkan 62%, membuat penjelasan lebih lanjut 53%, strategi taktik 67%. Nilai rata-rata jumlah persentase keseluruhan keterampilan berpikir kritis diperoleh sebesar 62%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kategori keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sedang. Dengan demikian diperlukan pengembangan media pembelajaran untuk meningkat keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Pengembangan budaya kerja praktik kejuruan berkaitan dengan keterampilan abad 21, tidak terlepas dari kebutuhan dunia industri terhadap tenaga kerja dengan kompetensi. Keterampilan abad 21 yang harus dimiliki adalah kemampuan beradaptasi, kecakapan berkomunikasi, keingintahuan intelektual, berpikir kritis dan sistemik, melek informasi dan media, kecakapan hubungan antar pribadi dan kerjasama, kecakapan mengidentifikasi masalah dan menemukan solusi, pengarahan pribadi, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Peserta didik membiasakan budaya kerja 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, dan Shitsuke) yang baik agar pekerjaan berjalan dengan efisien dan optimal. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengkaji penilaian pengembangan budaya kerja praktik kejuruan peserta didik SMK. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner kepada guru produktif bidang teknologi di SMK untuk memvalidasi instrumen dan mengetahui keterlaksanaan budaya kerja peserta didik SMK. Sebagai data kualitatif dilaksanakan FGD (Forum Group Discussion) terhadap guru produktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan instrumen budaya kerja 5S kategori tinggi pada reliabilitas (0,793) dan validitas konten. Tingkat keterlaksanaan budaya kerja sudah berjalan sangat baik.

Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) requires teachers to adapt in designing more innovative and contextual learning. However, most partner school teachers still face challenges in utilizing AI-based technology to develop effective teaching materials. This community service program aimed to enhance teachers’ capacity in developing adaptive AI-based student worksheets (LKPD) that support differentiated learning. The implementation consisted of socialization, training, practical mentoring, and feedback evaluation, involving 25 elementary school teachers. The results showed a significant improvement in teachers’ ability to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, and Quizizz AI to design interactive and contextual LKPD. Participant satisfaction surveys indicated that 72% rated the activity as very good and 28% as good. This program effectively improved teachers’ digital literacy and fostered creative integration of technology into classroom learning.

Abstract

This paper explores the impact of technology on Islamic pesantren education and the learning outcomes of santri. The study highlights the emergence of new trends and possibilities in the integration of technology in pesantren education, including the use of online learning platforms, mobile applications, and social media. The paper also examines the potential benefits of technology in enhancing the pesantren education system, such as improved access to educational resources, enhanced communication, and new learning opportunities. Studies in this area typically use quantitative and qualitative research methods. Quantitative methods may include surveys and questionnaires to gather data on the use and impact of technology on pesantren education and student learning outcomes. Qualitative methods may include interviews and focus groups with pesantren educators, administrators, and students to better understand their experiences with technology in education. Quantitative data analysis often involves using statistical software to analyze survey or questionnaire data, such as calculating mean scores and standard deviations and conducting inferential statistics. Qualitative data analysis may involve content or thematic analysis techniques to identify patterns or themes in the data gathered from interviews or focus groups. Finally, the paper discusses the importance of integrating technology into Islamic pesantren education and the need for pesantren institutions to keep pace with technological advancements to prepare their students for the demands of the 21st-century workforce.
