Abstract

Abstract

This study examines corruption in Indonesia from a criminological perspective, focusing on how social and economic factors contribute to its persistence. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research analyzes secondary data from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Statistics Indonesia (BPS), and Transparency International between 2020 and 2024. The findings reveal that corruption is not merely a legal violation but a socially learned and economically driven behavior embedded in Indonesia’s bureaucratic and cultural structures. Social elements such as patronage, nepotism, and weak moral control intersect with economic pressures like income inequality and inadequate welfare, forming a systemic environment conducive to corruption. Applying Differential Association Theory, Strain Theory, and Rational Choice Theory, this study interprets corruption as both a learned adaptation and a rational response to structural strain. The results highlight the need for multidimensional anti-corruption strategies that integrate institutional reform, socio-economic equality, and cultural transformation. This criminological approach offers deeper insight into the roots of corruption and provides a theoretical foundation for developing more effective preventive policies in Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of digital communication has redefined the scope and limits of constitutional freedoms particularly the right to freedom of expression. In Indonesia, this right—enshrined in Articles 28E(3) and 28F of the 1945 Constitution—faces new challenges arising from the expansion of online speech and state regulation under the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). This study examines the constitutionality of restrictions on freedom of expression within Indonesia’s digital landscape through a doctrinal and case-based analysis of key Constitutional Court decisions, including Decisions No. 50/PUU-VI/2008, No. 2/PUU-VII/2009, No. 82/PUU-XII/2014, and No. 76/PUU-XV/2017.Findings reveal that the Constitutional Court consistently applies the principle of proportionality as the central test for evaluating the legitimacy of expression-related restrictions. The Court’s reasoning reflects an ongoing effort to harmonize domestic constitutional provisions with international human rights standards, particularly Article 19 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR). While the UU ITE remains constitutionally valid, the Court has emphasized the need for legislative refinement to prevent vague or overly broad interpretations that could infringe upon democratic freedoms. The analysis further highlights that the digital era demands adaptive constitutional interpretation capable of reconciling technological innovation with enduring democratic principles. The Constitutional Court’s jurisprudence demonstrates that constitutional democracy in the digital age must be both protective and responsive—safeguarding individual liberty while ensuring that digital governance serves the public interest. Ultimately, this study underscores the Court’s pivotal role in shaping Indonesia’s constitutional evolution toward a rights-centered model of digital governance, ensuring that constitutional freedoms remain robust amid technological transformation.

Abstract

Aktivitas antioksidan permen tercatat 1145,35 ppm (sangat lemah). Permen dengan sedikit substitusi bubur kulit buah naga merah lebih disukai panelis, menunjukkan penggunaan minimal bubur kulit buah naga dapat memperbaiki warna tanpa mengurangi preferensi sensorik.

Abstract

This study aims to calculate and analyze workload at PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang, specifically within the Field Technical Inspection Group II of the Technical Inspection department. The research was conducted by determining the appropriate number of workers based on their work output and effective working hours. The study was motivated by the observation that there is often idle time and a high frequency of off-site activities among employees in the technical inspection section. The Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) method was used to analyze the workload distribution and employee productivity. Based on the 2019 data, effective working hours were calculated to be 5.6 hours per day, with a total of 238 working days in the year. The results show that employee productivity is generally high. However, three employees were found to be overloaded, with FTE index values of 1.281, 1.327, and 1.302, indicating excessive workload. Meanwhile, eight employees had normal FTE index values ranging from 1.054 to 1.255. The findings can be used to improve workload distribution and staffing decisions within the department.

Abstract

This study implements a deep learning model based on Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for sentiment analysis of Indonesian-language tweets related to the Korean Style trend. A dataset of 7,187 tweets was collected via web crawling using keywords such as “Korean Style”, “K-pop”, and “Korean fashion”. The preprocessing pipeline included case folding, removal of special characters and emojis, stopword elimination, tokenization, and lemmatization. Word2Vec and FastText embeddings were employed for text representation. The CNN model classified tweets into three sentiment categories: positive, negative, and neutral. Evaluation metrics included accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and confusion matrix. Results showed 71.26% validation accuracy with the highest F1-score of 0.81 for the neutral class, while negative sentiment classification remained weak due to class imbalance. Word2Vec outperformed FastText in stability. This research contributes to sentiment analysis in Indonesian social media using deep learning and provides insights into public opinion on Korean cultural trends

Abstract

This study aims to build the concept of learning technology from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith. Learning technology has a role in teaching humans by developing and involving several learning resources, which include human resources, natural and environmental resources, opportunity resources, or opportunities to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of educational resources. This study uses a literature or library research method, namely research that prioritizes theoretical and philosophical data processing. This study's data sources are the Qur'an, Hadith, books, journal articles, and other sources that support this research. The results of this study indicate that Islam through the Al-Qur'an and Hadith illustrates that learning to interpret something must involve a wide range of learning resources, such as one in the Al-Qur'an Surah Al-'Alaq verse 1, namely the universe, environment, and science. Knowledge, human resources, and others. This interpretation is in line with the concept of learning technology that provides an effective and efficient role in the learning process by involving several learning resources, including human resources, natural resources, science, and the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of an intensive mentoring approach in improving Qur’anic literacy and prayer memorization among secondary school students at STKIP Muhammadiyah Arar Labschool High School, Sorong Regency. The research addresses the persistent gap between curriculum expectations and students’ actual competencies, where more than half of the students were still at the Iqra’ level upon entering high school. A qualitative descriptive design was employed, with data collected through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing, supported by source triangulation to ensure credibility. The findings indicate substantial improvement after two months of daily 30-minute mentoring sessions conducted before formal classes. Of 39 students, 43.6% achieved fluent Qur’anic reading, 38.5% became fairly fluent, and 43.6% fully memorized the targeted prayer recitations, while 51.3% entered the early memorization stage. The program also fostered non-cognitive outcomes, including increased discipline, confidence, punctuality, and religious motivation. The novelty of this study lies in its integrated dual-focus model that combines Qur’anic reading progression, structured prayer memorization, individualized deposit-and-journal monitoring, and tajwid micro-sessions within a daily school routine. This study contributes theoretically by advancing a holistic mentoring framework and practically by offering a low-cost, replicable model for strengthening Qur’anic literacy and worship competence in secondary education.
