Abstract

Abstract

Abstract Introduction: Hypertension in pregnancy is a common complication that affects maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. Comprehensive handling is needed to overcome the incidence of hypertension in pregnancy so that it does not get worse. The use of inflammatory markers is widely used as a predictor of the incidence of hypertension in pregnancy, especially preeclampsia. Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and mean platelet volume (MPV) values are believed to predict the incidence of hypertension in pregnancy. Aim of study: The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of both the NLR and MPV values to predict the incidence of hypertension in pregnancy. Methods: This research is an analytic observational study using secondary data from medical records. The data were taken from the Cimacan Regional Hospital from January to December 2019. The variables were then tested statistically to see the difference in the mean. If there are significant results, the predictor's ability will be tested again with the ROC curve test. Results: The results of statistical tests between the normotensive pregnancy group and pregnancy with hypertension showed that the mean difference was significant in the NLR variable with P-value of 0.004 and MPV with a P-value of 0.005. Then the NLR and MPV values were tested again by the ROC Curve method. The AUC results on the NLR variable (AUC: 0.562 / p-value: 0.022) and MPV (AUC: 0.560 / p-value: 0.022). Conclusion: Although NLR and MPV had differences mean between the two groups, their ability to predict pregnancy with hypertension was very low. Keywords: Pregnancy; Hypertension; Preeclampsia; NLR; MPV.

Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic has a significant impact on all strategic aspects of human life. The influential aspects are the health, economic and socio-cultural. The Covid-19 pandemic creates a dilemma for the Government to find the best way to benefit from various sectors efficiently. One of them is the implementation of lockdown and work from home to reduce the spread of Covid-19, but this has an impact on the emergence of various psychological disorders and the balance of the economic balance which tends to be negative. The focus of this research is to reveal the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown and Work From Home policies on psychological symptoms and to find the best alternative solutions in terms of the economic sector. This research consists of 2 main parts, namely survey research and research that examines the problems based on sociology with qualitative methods with the type of normative juridical research. The results of this study reveal that during the Covid-19 pandemic period caused a 39.1% incidence of insomnia, 12.1% incidence of depression, and 26.3% incidence of anxiety from various levels. Still, there was no strong relationship and correlation between existing policies such as Work From Home, income, layoffs, spiritual, psychological symptoms. A literature review reveals the most effective way to bridge these three aspects (health, economy, and psychology) is by applying the form of shifting or taking turns by dividing into a minimum of 2 teams, namely a minimum of 14 days of work and a minimum of 14 days for independent isolation at home.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on all humankind by causing losses in all aspects of life. Like other infectious diseases, vaccines are the most potent weapon that human has in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. But problems arise over who has the right to get the COVID-19 vaccine. All social issues began to emerge and caused clashes between human rights and the inadequate effectiveness of vaccines if they were not given to the whole community (Herd immunity was not achieved). This research is a literature review research with data searches conducted on various search engines such as Google Scholar. This research is qualitative research, where all materials and literature that have been collected during the research period will be reviewed with three types of approaches, namely juridical, conceptual and analytical approaches. The results of the study describe that the ideal goal of the Vaccination action is to eradicate COVID-19 cases. One of the efforts to achieve this goal is to establish a Herd-immunity and ensure that every citizen has his right to vaccinate fairly. Indonesia launched a free COVID-19 vaccination program as of December 16, 2020, as a form of the State’s implementation in upholding Human Rights, the 1945 Constitution, Law No. 39 of 1999, and formed herd-immunity in the context of handling COVID-19 as effectively and optimally as possible

Abstract

Background: COVID-19's appearance, and subsequent pandemic, stunned the world. The spread is rapid, and research continues to this day, prompting the WHO and government to develop ever-evolving rules. The group can break the chain of COVID-19 disease transmission by implementing hygiene precautions such as wearing masks, washing hands with soap, bringing hand sanitizers, and maintaining distance, or what is commonly referred to as social distancing and independent isolation. Aim: As the title states, this research aimed to study the dualism between human rights and public interest in using mask during COVID-19 era. Method: This analysis employs a research methodology that includes a review of normative legal studies. Findings: Using a mask is a fundamental right that everyone has to breathe safe, virus-free air. Additionally, a mask promotes group rather than individual interests. As a result, the government acts by enacting legislation restricting the use of masks and enforcing other health protocols during this COVID-19 pandemic period, using sanctions to educate citizens about the importance of mask use today.
