Abstract

Bendungan Logung merupakan bendungan multipurpose yang salah satu fungsinya sebagai pengendali banjir. Mengingat bahwa Bendungan Logung telah beroperasi selama 5 (lima) tahun sekaligus menanggapi perubahan pola curah hujan dan tata guna lahan, serta mengantisipasi kemungkinan kegagalan bendungan akibat overtopping, maka perlu dilakukan kajian penelusuran banjir di waduk menggunakan data hidrologi dan tutupan lahan terbaru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan Bendungan Logung dalam mereduksi banjir. Model penelusuran banjir dalam penelitian ini menggunakan software HEC-HMS dengan metode Soil Conservation Services-Curve Number (SCS-CN). Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan terdapat peningkatan curah hujan rencana apabila dibandingkan dengan studi perencanaan tahun 2015 serta adanya perubahan tata guna lahan di DTA Waduk Logung yang menyebabkan nilai debit banjir rencana lebih besar dibandingkan dengan studi perencanaan. Bendungan Logung dapat mereduksi debit banjir untuk masing- masing kala ulang sebesar: Q2 = 42,88%; Q5 = 38,38%; Q10 = 35,02%; Q25 = 31,53%; Q50 = 29,42%; Q100 = 27,50%; Q1000 = 20,72%; dan QPMF = 16,43%. Hasil debit puncak QPMF sebesar 946,5 m3/detik yang berada pada elevasi +93,5, di mana elevasi tersebut berada di atas muka air banjir QPMF perencanaan yakni +92,85. Oleh karena itu tidak terjadi overtopping karena puncak bendungan berada pada elevasi +94.

Abstract

Collaboration, integration, synchronization, and synergy approaches in water resources management offer more diverse water resources management efforts to deal with flood disaster issues at Bodri Kuto River Basin. The Penta helix-based approach is relevant and essential in the Bodri Kuto River Basin. This study aims to identify stakeholders in the Penta helix elements, determine the impact of the KISS variables in flood management strategies, and determine priority strategies in flood management in the Bodri Kuto River Basin. Pentahelix stakeholders in flood management at Bodri Kuto River Basin consist of parties from the government, private sectors, academics, non-governmental organizations, and the mass media. Based on the results of the KISS index analysis, it is known that the variable synchronization score is included in the "good" criteria. In contrast, the "average" criteria include the other three variables. These results come in with some concerns and recommendations that the WS Bodri Kuto flood management needs to implement several strategies to increase the KISS variables and short and long-term response strategies based on the SWOT component.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the contribution of capital assistance, promotional strategies, and organizational skills to micro-businesses performance in the new normal era. This research is applied to micro-enterprises in Surabaya that must face the environmental conditions after the Covid-19 Pandemic, namely the new normal where there are changes in behavior by the community and micro-businesses related to the pandemic that has occurred, starting new businesses with various uncertainties, high-intensity competition. The Surabaya city government has used different methods to overcome the micro-enterprise downturn by providing trading opportunities and holding grand events to promote products and provide financial assistance. The population of this research is micro-entrepreneurs in Surabaya, totaling 112 people. The survey method is used to retrieve the necessary data from the sample. Testing with multiple linear regression shows the contribution of the variable capital assistance, promotion strategy, and organizational ability to business performance shows that micro-business performance is influenced by capital assistance, promotion strategy, and organizational capacity. The capital assistance obtained is used to carry out product innovations, promotion innovations, distribution, and additional resources supported by organizational capabilities that can improve micro-business performance.

Abstract

Pekalongan City is an area that frequently experiences floods. In response, the government has launched a flood management program for the Pekalongan area, which includes the relocation of the National Fishery Harbor Pekalongan. The construction of the Pekalongan Onshore Harbor will change marine hydrodynamics, current, waves and sediments. To address these issues, it is necessary to conduct a study of these changes. According to the modeling results, the maximum current speed in the harbor pool ranges from 0 to 0.28 m/s, while the maximum wave height in the harbor pool falls within the range of 0 to 0.40 meters. The bed level change at the end of modeling in the harbor pool is 0.108 mm. Notably,  the construction of the Pekalongan Onshore Harbor, as per the planned layout, induces hydrodynamic changes. An indicator of a hydrodynamics change is the alteration in currents at T4 and T5 in each model. In the proposed harbor layout, T4 and T5 exhibit a decrease in current speed, while the wave height remains relatively consistent. This change reduces erosion at T5 and even leads to sedimentation at T4 within the planned harbor layout.

Abstract

The development of the capture fisheries business requires every company and fishery business actor, especially small scale fishermen, to compete and increase the catch from each of their business activities. So that the level of business feasibility is a criterion for investment or long-term investment in a particular production. The purpose of this study was to analyze the  handline busines with a vessel size of 2 GT -10 GT in the waters of the city of Kupang. The research method used is a survey method, determining respondents based on purposive sampling. Data collecting done by interview and observation. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. 30 fishermen who owned handline boats with a size of 2-10 GT were used as the samples. The research was conducted in March - May 2023 at the Tenau Beach Fishing Port (PPP), Kupang city. The business analysis carried out is to look at the average investment costs, fixed costs, operational costs, income and profits of fishing business within 1 year. The results showed that the average investment cost was IDR 161,361,619/year, the total cost was IDR. 354,999,991, -/year total revenue of IDR. 891.066.667.-/year and the ship owner's profit was IDR. 536,066,676,-/year. Based on the results of the analysis, the R/C Ratio and B/C Ratio values are greater than ≥ 1, so it can be concluded that the 2-10 GT small handline fishing vessel business in the waters of Kupang city is profitable and feasible to develop.

Abstract

Layer eggs are low cost and highly nutritious, but they are perishable. Therefore, it is important applying preservation for prolong its shelf life. Preservation by using natural agent such as belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L) leaf (BWL) extract for food safety and consumer health is ratioable. This study aimed to evaluate the immersion of layer eggs in an aqueous extract of BWL on the pH value and total microbial eggs. The treatments employed were eggs without soaking (P0), eggs soaked in aquadest (P1), eggs soaked in solution of BWL leaf extract (SBWLE) 15% (P2), eggs soaked in SBWLE 30% (P3), and eggs soaked in SBWLE 45% (P4). Soaking was carried out for 24 hours with the proportion of egg: water SBWLE was 1:13. The extraction process was carried out by boiling the BWL for 10 minutes at a temperature of 85 ºC. The boiled water is filtered and the results were used for treatment. The data were analyzed by ANOVA and he significant effect (P <0.05) of treatments were tested by a post hoc Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that eggs soaked in SBWLE had lower pH and total microbes than eggs without soaking and eggs soaked in aquadest. The higher concentration of SBWLE, the decreasing pH and total microbes in eggs. The conclusion was that the use of SBWLE 15-45% (w/v) was able to suppress egg microbial growth and prevent an increase in egg pH. Keywords: Averhoa bilimbi, egg quality, microbes, pH

Abstract

Tempuyung (Sonchus arvensis L.) is a plant that has many benefits and medicinal potencial. This plant is contain high flavonoids and terpenoids. The propagation of this plant is very important to do to provide medicinal ingridients on a prefab scale and to produce materials that have a high compound content. The tissue culture is one of the fastest ways in plant propagation and can increase the content of secondary metabolites in plants. The method to produce high compounds and produce somatic embryos in large quantities can be through callus culture. The research aim was to find the effect of 2,4D and BAP hormones and leaf explant variations on the growth tempuyung callus. In this research, a combination of 2,4D (0; 0.5; 1 ppm) and BAP (0; 0.5; 1 ppm) hormone was used in inducing callus, and explants used in this research were vegetative leaves and generative leaves of tempuyung. The results of this study stated that callus was produced within 10-14 days, with the friable callus texture and yellow in color. Vegetative leaf explants initiate callus faster than generative leaves. Other results showed that the best combination in callus production was BAP 0.5 ppm and 2.4D 1 ppm, and the most optimal leaf explants in producing callus were found in vegetative leaf explants

Abstract

Menuntut ilmu adalah kewajiban bagi seorang siswa. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya, tidak sedikit peserta didik yang masih mengalami kesulitan belajar, seperti kesulitan membaca, berhitung, dan lain sebagainya. Hal ini juga yang dialami oleh anak-anak SD Negeri Sukaasih 01, kesulitan dalam hal belajar ini ditunjukan dengan belum bisanya membaca, menulis, berhitung atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah disleksia, disgrafia, dan dyscalculia. Hal ini menyebabkan kurang interaktif dalam kelas, tentunya selain guru peran orang tua juga sangat besar dalam hal ini. Sehingga perlu diadakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang cara mengatasi kesulitan belajar anak kepada para orang tua yang anaknya bersekolah di SD Negeri Sukaasih 01 di Desa Sukaasih, Kecamatan Tambelang, Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada Sabtu, 28 Januari 2023 di ruang serba guna SD Negeri Sukaasih 01. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan, maka didapatkan hasil, bahwa orang tua tersebut sudah paham mengenai langkah-langkah penanganan untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar anak.

Abstract

The characteristics of beef bekasam were tested using different fermentation durations. Beef was made into beef bekasam using four different fermentation durations, namely 48, 96, 144 and 192 hours. The variables measured were cooking loss, pH, total acid, water content, and organoleptic properties of the acid. Water content was not significantly influenced (P>0.05), while cooking loss, pH, total acidity and sour aroma and taste were significantly influenced (P<0.05) by different fermentation durations. Fermentation durations between 96 and 144 hours reduced pH levels, but increased total acidity and cooking losses. The fermentation duration of 96 hours provides the highest level of preference for the aroma (before and after cooking) and sour taste of beef. So, the fermentation time of 144-192 hours increases cooking losses and total acidity with a lower pH. Panelists most liked the aroma and sour taste of beef when fermented for 96 hours.   Key words: Acid Total, Beef, Bekasam, Fermentation, pH, Organoleptics   ABSTRAK Karakteristik bekasam daging sapi diuji dengan menggunakan durasi fermentasi yang berbeda. Daging sapi dibuat bekasam dengan menggunakan empat durasi fermentasi yang berneda, yaitu 48, 96, 144, dan 192 jam. Variabel yang diukur adalah susut masak, pH, total asam, kadar air, dan sifat organoleptik bekasam. Kadar air tidak dipengaruhi secara nyata (P>0,05), sedangkan susut masak, pH, total asam dan aroma dan rasa bekasam dipengaruhi secara nyata (P<0,05) oleh durasi fermentasi yang berbeda. Durasi fermentasi antara 96 dan 144 jam menurunkan pH menurun, tetapi meningkatkan total asam dan susut masak. Durasi fermentasi 96 jam memberikan tingkat kesukaan yang tertinggi pada aroma (sebelum dan sesudah dimasak) dan rasa bekasam daging sapi. Jadi, lama fermentasi selama 144-192 jam meningkatkan susut masak dan total asam dengan pH yang lebih rendah. Panelis paling menyukai aroma dan rasa bekasam daging sapi ketika difermentasi selama 96 jam.   Kata kunci: Bekasam, Daging Sapi, Fermentasi, Organoleptik, pH, Total Asam.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the elements that affect Scarlett Whitening customers' e-commerce purchase decisions. The factors studied are product quality, price, and brand ambassador. The critical data used in this study were collected directly from respondents by sending research questionnaires to Scarlett Whitening customers shopping online in Jabodetabek. In contrast, secondary data in this study came from other statistical data and websites. Non-probability purposive sampling was used to acquire the data, and there were 110 respondents. With the aid of SPSS software version 25, this kind of research uses an associative analysis method with a quantitative approach. This study discovered that Scarlett Whitening's consumer purchase decisions in e-commerce are positively and significantly impacted by product quality, price, and brand ambassador.
