Abstract

Masalah yang diangkat pada penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan menulis siswa kelas VIII MTs Kota Sorong. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pembelajaran menulis puisi yang belum terlaksana dengan baik sehingga siswa kelas VIII mengalami kesulitan ketika diminta menulis puisi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan metode pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan tepat. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut digunakan metode ARCS dan media gambar peristiwa yang terdapat dalam surat kabar dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII Negeri Kota Sorong. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya proses pembelajaran, peningkatan, dan perubahan perilaku ke arah yang positif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the role of anti-corruption and de-radicalisation education in encouraging students to become more critical of social issues. This research methodology uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques to explore how anti-corruption and de-radicalisation education affects students' critical attitudes. In qualitative research, in-depth interviews also allow researchers to collect rich and detailed data for thorough analysis, which allows them to understand thoroughly, deeply, and contextually the experiences of the interviewees. Participants consisted of 15 students from various majors in higher education who had attended anti-corruption and de-radicalisation education programmes. The selection of participants was purposive to ensure diversity of perspectives. The results showed that anti-corruption and de-radicalisation education significantly increased students' awareness of the negative impact of corruption and the importance of integrity. However, some students also expressed concerns about the lack of transparency and accountability on campus, which may hinder the effectiveness of anti-corruption education. Therefore, this study emphasises the need for a more contextual, participatory and sustainable approach in the implementation of anti-corruption and de-radicalisation education, as well as support from various parties to create a conducive environment for the implementation of integrity values.

Abstract

Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di SDIT At Tibyan telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam proses pendidikan dengan menitikberatkan pada kemandirian, kreativitas, serta penguatan karakter peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SDIT At Tibyan serta dampaknya terhadap perubahan dalam sistem pendidikan di sekolah tersebut. Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan keleluasaan bagi sekolah dalam merancang pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik, dengan penekanan pada pengembangan karakter, kreativitas, dan kemandirian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, yang melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, serta analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di SDIT At Tibyan telah berhasil mendorong peserta didik menjadi lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta menanamkan nilai-nilai akhlak mulia melalui integrasi nilai-nilai keislaman dalam setiap mata pelajaran. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan dalam hal adaptasi kurikulum dan keterbatasan fasilitas, sekolah ini mampu memanfaatkan fleksibilitas kurikulum untuk membentuk peserta didik yang tidak hanya unggul dalam akademik, tetapi juga berintegritas dan berkarakter Islami. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya dukungan berkelanjutan dari berbagai pihak guna meningkatkan efektivitas penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

The integration of Islamic moral values into mathematics education aims to create a balance between faith and logic, ensuring that learning is not solely focused on intellectual aspects but also on the development of noble character. This study seeks to explore the impact of this integrative approach on students' learning motivation, conceptual understanding, and moral value formation.Integrating Islamic values into mathematics education is challenging due to teachers' limited understanding of the connection between these values and mathematical concepts, insufficient resources, and students' lack of perceived relevance, which affects motivation.Time constraints and the need for institutional support further complicate this integration.Solutions include professional training for teachers, development of relevant materials, collaboration among educators, innovative teaching methods like project-based learning, and community involvement. Regular evaluations and feedback can enhance teaching strategies, fostering a generation that is academically skilled and morally grounded. The findings indicate that incorporating Islamic values such as honesty, justice, and responsibility into mathematics education enhances students' awareness of the real-life relevance of mathematics. Teaching methods such as case studies, project-based learning, and group discussions that link mathematics to Islamic values, such as zakat calculations and resource management, train students to think critically and make decisions based on ethical principles. Moreover, collaboration between mathematics teachers and Islamic education (PAI) teachers is a key factor in creating meaningful learning experiences. Despite challenges like additional time required for material preparation, this approach proves effective in shaping a generation that is not only academically proficient but also morally upright.

Abstract

This community service activity aims in general to help community members to create medicinal plant nurseries (biopharmaceuticals) as an effort to increase family income, specifically this activity aims so that after completing the activity, participants will be able to understand and be motivated in creating medicinal plant nurseries, have the knowledge in creating nurseries as well as processing and marketing medicinal plants as an effort to increase family income. In medicinal plant nurseries, the types that will be developed are red ginger (Zingiber Officinale), turmeric (Curcuma longa Linn), ginger (Curcuma xanthorrhiza), galangal (Kaemferia galangal) and Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus). These plants are very promising in the midst of the Covid pandemic situation since 2020. The method used in this activity is through direct demonstration plots on land around campus 4 of Khairun University with an Adult Education (POD) approach, lectures, discussions and guidance. Abstract

Planting plants does not necessarily require a large area of ​​land, but can be done at home by utilizing existing yard space. Food is a primary life need that must be met. The utilizing of home garden as agricultural land can help fulfill the family's daily food needs. Apart from that, household organic waste can also be processed into organic fertilizer to support the growth of plants planted in the yard. People in Gambesi generally cultivate water spinach to meet their daily food needs and also to sell. The community wants the addition of other types of plants that are easy to develop. Apart from that, people need knowledge about making organic fertilizer to help fertilize the plants in their yards. Therefore, this community service is carried out with the aim of educating and socializing how to make liquid organic fertilizer from household waste and planting vegetables in home gardens to meet the community's daily food needs. Abstract

Pengetahuan tentang pelestarian ekosistem hutan di Kota Ternate diperlukan oleh para generasi penerus bangsa dan juga oleh garda terdepan dunia Pendidikan yaitu guru. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan mengingat Kota Ternate memiliki beragam ekosistem vital yang menjadi penyangga kehidupan masyarakat. Selain itu tipe ekosistem yang ada menjadi bagian ekowisata di Kota Ternate. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian yaitu untuk memberikan edukasi kepada siswa-siswi dan juga guru agar dapat turut serta dalam menjaga ekosistem hutan di Ternate. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 4 Ternate pada 17 November 2023 dengan jumlah peserta 31 siswa siswi dan 10 peserta dari guru atau tenaga pengajar. Terdapat 3 tahapan dalam kegiatan ini, yaitu pre test, diskusi dan tanya jawab, serta post test. Hasil pre test menunjukkan tingkat rendah dan sedang (cukup) dalam pengetahuan tentang pelestarian ekosistem hutan. Hasil post test menunjukkan nilai tinggi sehingga dapat dikatakan kegiatan edukasi dapat diterima oleh peserta kegiatan. Kata Kunci: ekosistem, pelestarian, Ternate

Abstract

Maggots are organisms in the second phase of the black soldier fly life cycle. Maggots move into the pupal phase which then turns into adult flies. Maggot (Hermetia illucens Linnaeus) is a black soldier fly larva that has a chewy texture, high protein, and has the ability to secrete natural enzymes that help improve the digestive system (Fauzi and Sari, 2018). The high level of nutrients contained in maggots, their abundant availability, their use which does not compete with humans and their easy-to-make growing media show good potential as an alternative combination of animal feed. The maggot cultivation training activity aims to train the younger generation to be able to participate in society in using maggots as an alternative animal feed. The activity was held on Monday 27 July 2020 to provide material and media creation which was attended by 18 participants. The care process until harvesting is monitored every week by the Community Service Team. Training activities are carried out in several stages, starting from preparing tools and materials, making media, the maggot cultivation process, and the harvesting process. It is hoped that maggots can be the answer to the problem of availability, namely the price of feed is cheap and easy to obtain, does not cause environmental pollution, and can increase the immune system of livestock. Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran Karang Taruna dalam memperkuat solidaritas masyarakat melalui penyelenggaraan lomba karaoke pada peringatan Hari Kemerdekaan 17 Agustus. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, pengabdian ini dilakukan di Desa Lempangang, Kecamatan Bajeng, Kabupaten Gowa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa lomba karaoke berhasil menarik partisipasi aktif warga dari berbagai kelompok usia dan latar belakang sosial. Aktivitas ini menciptakan dinamika sosial yang positif, mempererat hubungan antar warga, dan meningkatkan rasa kebersamaan serta kebanggaan komunitas. Meskipun terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam pelaksanaan, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan koordinasi, kegiatan ini secara keseluruhan dinilai berhasil mencapai tujuannya. Lomba karaoke, meskipun sederhana, terbukti menjadi media yang efektif dalam memperkuat solidaritas sosial di masyarakat. Pengabdian ini merekomendasikan agar Karang Taruna terus mengembangkan kegiatan serupa dengan memperbaiki aspek manajemen dan menggalang kerjasama yang lebih luas, untuk memastikan keberlanjutan program pengabdian yang memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas administrasi dan akademik di madrasah. MTs Arrukhshatul'ulum mengelola beberapa sistem SIM yang diamanahkan oleh Kementerian Agama, termasuk SIMPATIKA (Sistem Informasi Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Madrasah), SIM-SARPRAS (Sistem Informasi Sarana dan Prasarana), EMIS (Education Management Information System), dan RDM (Rapor Digital Madrasah). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran operator SIM di MTs Arrukhshatul'ulum, yang berlokasi di Desa Cangkorah, Kecamatan Batujajar, Kabupaten Bandung Barat, dalam mengelola SIM, mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi, serta mengusulkan strategi optimalisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari tiga kelompok, yaitu operator SIM (2 orang), kepala madrasah (1 orang), serta guru dan staf administrasi (5 orang). Operator SIM dipilih sebagai subjek utama karena peran mereka dalam input data, pengolahan, dan pelaporan. Kepala madrasah dilibatkan untuk mengeksplorasi perspektif manajerial, seperti dukungan kebijakan dan alokasi sumber daya bagi operator. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik, yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan tema utama dalam data kualitatif. Analisis ini mencakup tahapan pembiasaan data, pengodean, identifikasi tema, dan interpretasi temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa operator SIM menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti terbatasnya pelatihan teknis, infrastruktur yang kurang memadai, dan beban kerja yang tidak proporsional. Namun, dengan adanya dukungan dari pimpinan madrasah, pelatihan berkala, serta penyesuaian beban kerja, efektivitas pengelolaan SIM dapat ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kompetensi operator dan pemanfaatan teknologi yang relevan guna mendukung tata kelola madrasah yang modern. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Management Information Systems (MIS) play a crucial role in improving administrative and academic quality in madrasahs. MTs Arrukhshatul'ulum manages several MIS systems mandated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, including SIMPATIKA (Information System for Madrasah Educators and Education Personnel), SIM-SARPRAS (Infrastructure Information System), EMIS (Education Management Information System), and RDM (Madrasah Digital Report System). This study aimed to analyze the role of MIS operators at MTs Arrukhshatul'ulum, located in Cangkorah Village, Batujajar District, West Bandung Regency, in managing MIS, identifying challenges faced, and proposing optimization strategies. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The study subjects consisted of three groups: MIS operators (2 individuals), the madrasah principal (1 individual), and teachers and administrative staff (5 individuals). MIS operators were selected as key subjects due to their primary role in data entry, processing, and reporting. The madrasah principal was involved to explore managerial perspectives, such as policy support and resource allocation for operators. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews and observations. The collected data were then analyzed using thematic analysis, which aims to identify key patterns and themes within the qualitative data. Thematic analysis involves steps such as data familiarization, coding, theme identification, and interpretation of findings. The study results indicate that MIS operators face challenges such as limited technical training, inadequate infrastructure, and disproportionate workloads. However, support from madrasah leadership, regular training, and workload adjustments can enhance the effectiveness of MIS management. This study recommends strengthening operator competencies and utilizing relevant technology to support modern madrasah governance.
