Abstract

This study looks at how school culture affects the standard of instruction at SMA Negeri 1 Krian in Sidoarjo Regency. The distinctive qualities and personality of a school that influence the learning environment, student motivation, and involvement are referred to as its school culture. The relationship between learning quality and school culture was examined using a quantitative methodology. School culture has a significant influence on the learning process, based on the ANOVA test which produced a significance value of 0.000 < (0.05). A student's character is shaped and their educational experience is enhanced by factors including school rules, extracurricular activities, and acknowledging student accomplishments. This study emphasizes how crucial it is to develop a positive school culture in order to provide a helpful and productive learning environment, which will ultimately raise the standard of instruction and improve student results

Abstract

Community service activities in the form of Compiling Social Emotional Learning Assessment Instruments in Improving Teaching Professionalism of Indonesian Language Teacher Profession Program Students, Muhammadiyah University of Palembang aims to provide knowledge and skills in compiling social-emotional learning assessment instruments that meet the requirements to measure the achievement of ongoing learning, especially from the social-emotional aspects of students. The ability to compile this instrument is expected to improve the professionalism of prospective teachers who are currently undergoing Professional Teacher education. The target audience in this PPM activity is 18 Indonesian Language Teacher Profession Education (PPG) students, FKIP, Muhammadiyah University of Palembang. This activity uses lecture, demonstration, and practice methods accompanied by questions and answers. The lecture method explains the concept of Social Emotional Learning and the scope of CASEL components. The demonstration method is used to show a work process, namely the stages of compiling the instrument, while the practice method is used to practice making instruments that meet the requirements. Meanwhile, the question-and-answer method is to provide participants with the opportunity to consult in overcoming obstacles in compiling students' social-emotional learning instruments. The availability of adequate experts in designing social-emotional assessment instruments in the PPG Study Program, the enthusiasm of participants, the support of faculty leaders for the implementation of activities, and supporting funds from the faculty are the supporters of the implementation of this PPM activity. The obstacles faced are that the participants do not yet have initial knowledge about social-emotional learning and limited time for training. The benefits that participants can get from this PPM activity include being able to compile and develop social-emotional learning assessment instruments that will later be used in assessing students' social-emotional development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of educators and education personnel at UPT Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) 169 Gresik, with a focus on the management process, the influencing factors, and the outcomes related to enhancing the professional competence of educators. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as direct observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and document analysis. The data were analyzed thematically, following a systematic process of data grouping, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the management of education personnel at UPT SDN 169 Gresik encompasses several stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. During the planning stage, a schedule is established, and additional responsibilities are assigned to teaching staff beyond their teaching duties. The implementation stage includes supervising task execution and providing training aimed at improving professional competence. The evaluation stage is conducted periodically through interviews, documentation collection, and performance assessments of teaching staff based on established school management standards. Factors influencing this process include the quality of human resources, school policies, and prioritized student needs. The results of this management approach demonstrate an enhancement in the professional competence of educators, which positively impacts the achievement of educational standards at UPT SDN 169 Gresik. This study concludes that systematic management of educators and education personnel, grounded in student needs, can lead to improved quality of education. The findings may serve as a valuable reference for other educational institutions seeking to manage their teaching staff effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kepuasan siswa terhadap penerapan kurikulum Merdeka di SMAN 1 Taman. Masalah yang diangkat dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana persepsi siswa kelas XII IPS 1 terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran dalam kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 36 siswa kelas XII IPS sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner yang dirancang untuk mengukur kepuasan siswa terhadap berbagai aspek pembelajaran, seperti metode pengajaran, materi pelajaran, serta fasilitas pendukung. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa merasa puas dengan implementasi kurikulum merdeka di sekolah ini, terutama dalam hal kebebasan berpendapat, keterlibatan aktif dalam pembelajaran, dan relevansi materi dengan dunia nyata. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan kurikulum merdeka di SMAN 1 TAMAN telah berhasil memberikan pengalaman belajar memuaskan bagi siswa, meskipun ada beberapa aspek yang perlu di tingkatkan

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengaruh diversifikasi metode pembelajaran terhadap keaktifan siswa dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMPN 2 Taman. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis bagaimana variasi metode meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Dengan metode kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui angket skala Likert dari 36 siswa kelas VIII. Hasil menunjukkan penerapan metode yang beragam secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi dan partisipasi siswa. Penelitian merekomendasikan pendidik merancang metode yang lebih efektif untuk mendukung Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the relationship between students' satisfaction with sports facilities and their learning interest in PJOK subject at SMAN 1 Driyorejo. Adequate sports infrastructure is one of the important factors in supporting an effective learning process, students' satisfaction with sports infrastructure can affect their learning interest in actively participating during learning activities. The method in this research is using quantitative methods with data collection through questionnaires distributed to students of class XII 6 and XII 7 SMAN 1 Driyorejo. Based on data analysis obtained from the results of the spearman correlation test, which amounted to 0.729. Therefore, the data shows a very strong relationship. This means that the higher the level of student satisfaction with sports facilities, the greater their interest in participating in PJOK subjects.. The results of this study indicate that the relationship between sports infrastructure facilities and interest in learning PJOK at SMAN 1 Driyorejo is very high.

Abstract

Peserta didik berperan aktif dalam proses belajar dan pengembangan diri demi mencapai sasaran pendidikan yang telah ditetapkan. Ini ditempuh melalui jalur, jenjang, dan jenis pendidikan tertentu. Manajemen peserta didik atau pengelolaan siswa adalah aspek utama yang harus diperhatikan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pendidikan di sekolah. Program kegiatan peserta didik harus disesuaikan dengan minat siswa, serta berfokus pada pengembangan dan peningkatan kemampuan kognitif, emosional, dan psikomotorik mereka, sesuai dengan harapan, bakat, dan minat siswa. Penerapan program ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan kualitas yang tinggi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how Al-Furqon High School implements student management, so that later students at Al-Furqon High School can improve student achievement and at the same time improve the quality of the school. Through planning, organizing, supervision, and evaluation, with the main focus being on monitoring student activities as a whole, both outside and inside the classroom. This analysis includes guidance and counseling services, outdoor and indoor learning, student discipline, and student involvement in extracurricular activities, which will later support student talents and potential both in academic and non-academic fields. The principal, BK teacher, homeroom teacher, and students are the subjects of the study. This research method uses a qualitative research approach and collects data through observation, documentation, and interviews. Primary data sources are taken through direct observation results in the field, recordings of interview results that are first converted into word form and then we draw conclusions. Meanwhile, secondary data is taken through journals, books, and official school documents such as learning outcomes. The collected data is then analyzed through several stages which will later make it easier to draw conclusions. The results of the study theoretically show that organized student management with teacher supervision, communication between teachers and parents, and student involvement in school activities greatly contribute to student achievement and school quality. Practically, this study can be a guide for schools to improve student management, by increasing communication between teachers and parents, and designing programs to support student academic success and improve school quality.

Abstract

This study aims to develop quality and achievement in educational institutions, such as schools. This study uses a qualitative research approach, namely field research. The data obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation from various sources including teachers and students. The main function of student management is as a means for students to develop their characteristics to the maximum, both in terms of individual, social, aspirations, and their potential. The results of this study indicate that student management plays an important role in integrating that students refer to a group of students who have strong moral values ​​and are able to apply them in their daily lives. They are expected to demonstrate honesty, responsibility, and ethics in various aspects, such as academics, social interactions, and personal decisions. The character of student integrity has been possessed by each individual student but perhaps in the implementation of the implementation it is still not optimal, there are some students who have not implemented a character of integrity properly. This study provides significant insight into the development of educational policies and practices, and provides practical suggestions to improve the effectiveness of its implementation in educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of infrastructure facilities at MI Unggulan Manna Was Salwa as an effort to support learning efficiency. Infrastructure management is a facility management activity to support the implementation of optimal teaching activities in educational institutions. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with those responsible for managing infrastructure facilities, and analysis of related documentation. The main informants of the study included the madrasah head, administrative staff, and teachers. Data analysis was conducted systematically through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that infrastructure management at MI Unggulan Manna Was Salwa involves five main stages, namely planning, procurement, maintenance, inventory, and elimination. In the planning stage, the focus is directed at identifying infrastructure needs in accordance with the curriculum and the number of students. The procurement stage involves transparent budget management. The maintenance stage is carried out periodically to ensure the continuity of facility functions. Inventory is carried out with detailed data collection of all facilities, while the deletion stage is applied to facilities that are no longer suitable for use. Theoretically, this study contributes to the development of literature related to educational infrastructure management, especially in the context of madrasah. Practically, the results of this study can serve as a guide for other educational institutions in managing infrastructure effectively and efficiently to support learning activities. Thus, this research is expected to encourage the improvement of the quality of education through optimal facility management.
