Abstract

The rapid digitalization of work has intensified technostress and heightened the risk of digital burnout, particularly in knowledge-intensive and technology-driven organizations. Drawing on the Job Demands–Resources (JD-R) model, this article develops and tests a conceptual framework in which technostress operates as a key job demand, digital burnout as a central health-impairment outcome, and a bundle of strategic human resource management (HRM) job resources—framed as “techno-recovery” resources—buffers these effects. Techno-recovery resources are defined as integrated organizational, social, and technological practices that support psychological detachment, digital boundary control, and recovery from technology-driven strain. Using a quantitative survey design among employees in digitally intensive organizations, the study proposes the use of structural equation modeling to test the mediating role of digital burnout between technostress and outcomes (work engagement and turnover intention), and the moderating role of techno-recovery resources within the JD-R framework. While the empirical patterns are presented conceptually for illustrative purposes, the model is grounded in prior evidence on technostress, recovery experiences, and HRM in digital contexts. The article contributes by (1) positioning technostress and techno-recovery within an extended JD-R model, (2) specifying strategic HRM levers to reduce digital burnout, and (3) offering a measurement framework for future empirical work in emerging economies

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education among fifth-grade students of SD Negeri No. 56 Pa’lilang. The type of research used is quantitative research with a pre-experimental design using the One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The research sample consisted of 14 fifth-grade students. The data collection techniques were conducted through learning outcome tests, namely pretest and posttest, as well as observations of students' activities during the learning process. The obtained data were analyzed using a normality test and hypothesis testing with the Paired Sample t-test using the SPSS program. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. This is shown by the increase in the students' average score from 62.14 in the pretest to 87.14 in the posttest, as well as the increase in learning mastery from 43% to 100%. The results of the Paired Sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 with |t count| = 14.381, which is greater than t table = 2.160, therefore H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education among fifth-grade students of SD Negeri No. 56 Pa’lilang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of horror stories from conventional forms to participatory multimedia narrative experiences on YouTube, using a case study of the video titled "Shayangan Pulang" by Nadia Omara. The main focus is to identify the application of rhetorical elements, Storytelling techniques, and YouTube's role in supporting digital narratives. Using a qualitative case study approach, data was obtained through content analysis of verbal, visual, and audio elements, as well as audience reception in the comments section. The analysis was conducted using Aristotle's rhetorical framework (ethos, pathos, and logos) as well as the theories of digital Storytelling and media convergence. The research findings indicate that pathos is the most dominant element, manifested through gripping sound effects, vocal modulation, dramatic pauses, and a non-linear structure to evoke fear. Ethos & Logos credibility is built through a consistent narrator persona (ethos), while the logic of the storyline is maintained despite the supernatural theme (logos). The Role of YouTube: Interactivity features and participatory culture significantly strengthen the audience's emotional and social engagement. This research demonstrates that integrating classical rhetoric with digital techniques can create an immersive horror experience and enhance audience engagement in digital media.

Abstract

The transformation of Islamic educational methods through the perspective of philosophical thought that developed from classical to modern times by highlighting the contributions of figures such as Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, and Al-Ghazali, this article identifies a significant change in educational approaches that are shifting from traditional methods that focus on memorization to a more holistic and critical approach. Al-Farabi emphasized the importance of character building and morality in education, while Ibn Sina introduced a scientific method that integrates observation and experimentation. Al-Ghazali, on the other hand, underlined the need for integration between science and spirituality. Through a thematic and interpretive analysis of these philosophical works, this article shows that the contribution of philosophical thought not only enriches the Islamic educational curriculum, but also creates a more adaptive and relevant educational system in an ever-evolving social and cultural context. These findings emphasize the importance of a balanced educational approach between intellectual and moral aspects in shaping individuals who are able to contribute positively to society.

Abstract

Introduction: Islamic economic jurisprudence faces significant challenges in addressing the complexities of the rapidly evolving digital financial systems. This article proposes a novel legal reasoning model called Maqāṣidī Hermeneutics, which synthesizes Fazlur Rahman’s Double Movement method with the objectives of Islamic law (maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah). Methods: The model is constructed through four analytical stages: historical contextualization, maqāṣid identification, legal norm recontextualization, and the formulation of contemporary fatwas. Through case studies of DSN-MUI fatwas on e-money, fintech, and cryptocurrency, the study demonstrates how this approach enables more responsive, relevant, and benefit-oriented rulings. Employing a qualitative method and hermeneutic analysis, the research integrates textual studies with actual fatwa practices. Results: The findings show that the model bridges the classical texts and contemporary contexts while reinforcing ethical and epistemological foundations in Islamic legal reasoning. Conclusion and suggestion: This study aims to offer a theoretical contribution to the development of a more contextual, progressive, and sharia-based methodology for Islamic digital fatwas.

Abstract

Innovative and engaging instructional media are increasingly required to enhance students’ conceptual understanding and promote learner autonomy in elementary education. Within mathematics learning, game-based media such as puzzles have been suggested as effective tools to support constructivist learning processes. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of puzzle-based learning media in improving conceptual understanding and learning independence among fifth-grade students at Petapan 2 Primary School. A quantitative research design was employed using a saturation sampling technique involving 60 students from classes V-C and V-D. Data were collected through a mathematical understanding test and a learning independence questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS version 21 for Windows, including validity, reliability, normality, and homogeneity tests. Hypothesis testing was performed using an independent samples t-test. The results indicate a significant difference between the experimental group using puzzle media and the control group using conventional media. The significance values for conceptual understanding and learning independence were both 0.000 (< 0.05). These findings demonstrate that puzzle-based media significantly enhance students’ mathematical understanding and foster independent learning. Therefore, the integration of constructivist, game-based learning media is recommended to strengthen both cognitive and affective outcomes in elementary mathematics education

Abstract

Integrating digital learning media in primary education has become increasingly important to enhance student engagement and academic achievement, particularly in subjects that students often perceive as difficult, such as mathematics. Interactive technologies such as Smartboards provide dynamic visual and interactive learning environments that can potentially improve students’ interest and learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the effect of interactive Smartboard media on students’ learning interest and mathematics achievement among fourth-grade students at SDN Kebun 2 Kamal. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was saturation sampling, involving the entire population of 50 students from classes IV-A and IV-B. The research instruments consisted of a mathematics learning achievement test and a questionnaire measuring students’ learning interest. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS version 21, including tests of validity, homogeneity, normality, and an independent samples t-test. The findings reveal a statistically significant improvement in both students’ interest and learning outcomes after the implementation of Smartboard-based instruction, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The results indicate that the use of Smartboard media effectively enhances students’ engagement and academic performance in mathematics. Therefore, Smartboard technology can be recommended as an alternative instructional medium to support the achievement of learning competencies in elementary mathematics education

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas IV MI Muhammadiyah Pannampu akibat penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang kurang variatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media infografis berbasis Canva terhadap minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis pre-eksperimental melalui desain one group pretest-posttest dengan subjek sebanyak 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan observasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor minat belajar siswa meningkat dari 37,52 pada pretest menjadi 43,72 pada posttest, dengan nilai signifikansi (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed) < 0,05 yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada penggunaan media infografis berbasis Canva yang difokuskan pada peningkatan minat belajar dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di tingkat sekolah dasar. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media infografis berbasis Canva berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan minat belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an Arabic language curriculum based on the Reflective–Metacognitive Learning (RML) approach to enhance students’ self-awareness and learning autonomy. Employing a qualitative descriptive design through library research and content analysis, the study examined theoretical frameworks and formulated curriculum components that integrate reflective and metacognitive principles. The results revealed that RML encouraged students to plan, monitor, and evaluate their learning consciously, transforming classroom instruction into a learner-centered process. The model emphasized reflective journals, guided discussions, and self-evaluation as part of the curriculum design. This approach provided teachers with practical references for integrating reflective–metacognitive strategies into Arabic learning and contributed to curriculum development aligned with 21st-century educational goals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Behavior Cards terhadap pemahaman materi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) serta perilaku sopan santun siswa kelas IV di SDN 273 Borongrappoa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis Quasi-Experimental Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas IV A sebagai kelas eksperimen (16 siswa) dan kelas IV B sebagai kelas kontrol (18 siswa). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui instrumen tes tertulis (pretest-posttest) untuk mengukur pemahaman materi dan lembar observasi untuk menilai perilaku sopan santun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan media Behavior Cards terhadap peningkatan pemahaman materi PPKn. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji Independent Sample T-Test yang memperoleh nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 dan rata-rata peningkatan (N-Gain) kelas eksperimen (0,67) yang secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol (0,39). Selain itu, media ini juga terbukti efektif dalam membentuk perilaku sopan santun siswa, di mana 68,75% siswa di kelas eksperimen berhasil mencapai kategori 'Sangat Baik', berbanding terbalik dengan kelas kontrol yang tidak memiliki siswa pada kategori tersebut (0%). Simpulannya, penggunaan Behavior Cards secara efektif dapat mengintegrasikan peningkatan kognitif (pemahaman materi) dan afektif (perilaku sopan santun) pada siswa sekolah dasar.
