Abstract

This research is motivated by the marginalization of local cultural values and changes in the times that have led to younger generations becoming less familiar with local cultural values. It is important to strive to preserve local wisdom so that it is not lost, remains recognizable, and is known to future generations. This effort can be carried out through literature, particularly novels. Novels as literary works can be a strategic means of preserving local wisdom. The use of novels as a means of introducing local wisdom values can be integrated into high school literature education as teaching materials. The novel Lahbako by Nurillah Ahmad was selected as the object of this study with the aim of describing and explaining the forms of local wisdom values contained in the novel to be used as teaching materials for high school literature. This study is a qualitative study using a descriptive approach. Based on the analysis results, it was found that there are seven local wisdom values in the novel Lahbako by Nurillah Ahmad, namely beliefs/taboos, traditions, arts, value systems (good and bad), human life tools, livelihoods, and language systems. Thus, Nurillah Ahmad's novel Lahbako can be used as teaching material for high school students as an effort to introduce local wisdom values because this novel meets the criteria for suitability as teaching material.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Minecraft: Education Edition on students' conceptual understanding and collaboration in Social and Natural Sciences (IPAS) learning. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group was used, involving 48 sixth-grade students from SDN Srambah. The sample was divided into an experimental group (Class VI A, 24 students) using Minecraft: Education Edition, and a control group (Class VI B, 24 students) receiving conventional instruction, selected through purposive sampling. Instruments included a conceptual understanding test and a collaboration questionnaire. Descriptive statistics showed a greater increase in the experimental group’s scores. Data met assumptions for parametric testing based on normality and homogeneity tests. MANOVA results indicated a significant effect of learning media on both outcomes (p < 0.001). Further tests of Between-Subjects Effects revealed that the learning method accounted for 91.9% of the variance in conceptual understanding and 94.8% in collaboration. These results suggest that Minecraft: Education Edition is more effective than traditional methods in enhancing both cognitive and collaborative skills. The findings support constructivist learning theory, highlighting the benefits of interactive, student-centered environments in fostering active engagement and meaningful learning.

Abstract

This study explores the use of big book-based learning media and its impact on students’ interest in learning and understanding of acid-base concepts in 11th-grade chemistry at SMAN 1 Ketapang. The research applies a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. Observations revealed that students’ learning interest and conceptual understanding of acid-base topics were still low. To measure the effect, an independent sample t-test was conducted. The results show a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 for both learning interest and conceptual understanding, indicating a significant improvement after using big book-based media. The findings demonstrate that big books not only effectively enhance students’ motivation and comprehension but also make learning more engaging through visually appealing and well-structured content. This format allows students to read and understand material more easily, which stimulates interest and supports deeper understanding. Consequently, big book-based media can serve as an alternative solution for teachers aiming to improve students’ engagement and conceptual mastery, particularly in challenging topics like acid-base chemistry. The study emphasizes the importance of integrating creative and visually rich learning materials to foster active learning and improve educational outcomes in science subjects.

Abstract

This article reviews the importance of political culture and digital literacy for Generation Z as a prospective demographic group. It examines how Pancasila education contributes to the development of Gen-Z's political culture and literacy in higher education. Using a mixed-method research approach with a sequential transformative strategy model, the study transforms one type of data into another after collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data independently. Research findings indicate that trending topics, viral hashtags, FYP, news feeds, CC, and social media algorithms form the foundation of Gen-Z's digital political literacy and culture. This illustrates that, despite avoiding direct practice, Gen-Z exhibits a keen interest in digital politics. Consequently, Pancasila education provides Gen-Z members with opportunities to become competent political players and participants. The study also shows how Pancasila education incorporates digital-based political literacy and culture by emphasizing civic duties and integrating more "real" materials and ideals. The findings suggest that Pancasila education can enhance Gen-Z's digital political literacy and culture by making the curriculum more relevant to their daily lives and digital experiences. This approach not only strengthens digital literacy but also instills a deep understanding of ethical and responsible citizenship, aligning with the context of nationalism and Indonesian identity. The study concludes that integrating Pancasila values into digital political education is crucial for developing critical thinking skills and fostering civic awareness among Gen-Z, preparing them to navigate the complex digital landscape responsibly.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance community participation in Musrenbang at Meunasah Teungoh Village through a web-based platform. Needs analysis via interviews with 15 village officials and 25 residents in 2024 identified barriers such as one-way communication and limited information access. Developed using React.js and Node.js frameworks, the platform features agenda announcements, digital forms, online discussion forums, and automated email and SMS notifications. Blackbox testing revealed that 95% of features functioned as designed, with an average response time under 2 seconds, ensuring usability for residents with moderate digital literacy. A three-month trial before Musrenbang 2025 resulted in a 45% participation increase (from 120 to 174 participants), 150 community proposals (70% infrastructure, 20% economic empowerment), and 90% user satisfaction. However, 15% of elderly residents faced navigation challenges, indicating a need for additional training. The platform supports e-governance by offering greater transparency and inclusivity compared to conventional methods. Recommendations include enhanced digital literacy training, integration with WhatsApp, and replication in other villages.

Abstract

Rasbora galaxy (Danio margaritatus) is a type of freshwater ornamental fish that has a high economic value and is in great demand in the international market. This fish is included in the omnivorous animal group and can consume natural feed and commercial feed. Commercial feed has the advantage of being able to be designed with a nutritional formulation according to the needs of the type and age of the fish. Among the important factors in feeding management is the dose of feed. Feeding with low or high doses both have a negative effect on the absolute length growth of rasbora galaxy fish. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of providing commercial feed with different doses on the absolute length growth of rasbora galaxy fish (Danio margaritatus) measuring 1.5-2 cm in experimental tanks. This study used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment in this study was the provision of commercial feed with different doses. Treatment A; 2% of the weight of the test animal biomass, treatment B; 3% of the weight of the test animal biomass, treatment C; 4% of the weight of the biomass of the test animals, treatment D; 5% of the weight of the biomass of the test animals and treatment E; 6% of the weight of the biomass of the test animals. The test animals used 1.5-2 cm galaxy rasbora fish with an average weight of 0.5 g/tail. The stocking density was 2 fish/liter, the experimental media used fresh water with a volume of 3 liters/tub. The results showed that treatment C gave the best results for the absolute length growth galaxy rasbora fish of 0.74 cm/tail. Water quality data obtained water temperature ranged from 26.8 - 27.8 0C, acidity levels ranged from 6.9 - 7.1 and dissolved oxygen ranged from 5.29-5.69 ppm.

Abstract

This research is a form ofstrategy to preserve Kondobulengtheater through the process of transforming print-based scenarios into audio-visual-based digital scenario. The urgency of this research is due to the lack of regeneration of actors in the Kondobuleng theater which has become oneof the causes of the dimness of the Kondobuleng theater group which then has an impact on the Nusantara art tourism sector. In addition, the actors are known to be in a phase that is quite difficult to transfer knowledge of Kondobuleng performances, especially on scenario. Therefore, this research provides a solution by creating a supporting media to facilitate the process of transmitting knowledge related to Kondobuleng theater performances. The method used is the documentation through cinematography technique. These efforts produce new media so as to produce academic novelty in the form of product in the form of audio-visual-based digital scenariosin Kondobuleng theater, especially in the world ofperforming arts. This new media can be used as a medium for learning and actor training in understanding plot, dialog, texture, mimicry, and artistic sets in a performance. To measure the effectiveness of the output product, a survey was conducted from the product trial using the action research (AR) method and structured interviews to several theater actors to avoid subjectivity in the assessment of theproduct findings. On the other hand, this research is usefulas a solution to the threat of regeneration crisis in the Kondobuleng theatre as well as creating artistic spaces thathave the potential to impact on the tourism industry sector of the performing arts world.

Abstract

In the study of feminist hermeneutics, gender construction in Islamic law tries to bridge the gap between the dominant patriarchal norms in interpreting traditional Islamic law and modern society regarding gender equality for social justice. By exploring the classical literature and contemporary Islamic legal text, this study focuses on the problems of gender construction through the lens of feminist hermeneutics in Islamic law. The pattern in this feminist hermeneutic approach not only expands but also deepens the understanding of paradigmatic changes in gender construction in the framework of Islamic law. This perspective introduces a new idea for exploring gender construction within the legal framework. This approach challenges the dominant patriarchal interpretation of Islamic law, particularly women's roles and rights. This social change can be perceived in an inclusive view more responsive to gender issues.[ Dalam kajian lensa hermeneutika feminis, konstruksi gender dalam hukum Islam berupaya menjembatani kesenjangan antara norma-norma dominan patriarki dalam interpretasi hukum Islam tradisional dan tuntutan masyarakat modern dalam kesetaraan gender demi keadilan sosial.
