Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of participatory socialization of sociology teachers in improving the discipline of class XI IPS 1 students at SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Keramat, Sambas Regency. Researchers used descriptive research methods with qualitative research forms. The data sources for this study were the sociology teacher, BK teacher, and six students of class XI IPS 1. The results showed that participatory socialization of sociology teachers in improving the discipline of class XI IPS 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Keramat by giving symbolic rewards. Giving rewards for good behavior in the form of praise as a form of teacher appreciation for students, communication as interaction, namely communication that exists between teachers and students directly and face to face, verbal communication with oral and written so that it is easily understood by students, student-centered socialization, and students' learning needs are taken into account.

Abstract

This service activity aims to educate partners about national journals and procedures for submitting manuscripts until they are published in national journals. The method of this activity was clinical or practiced. This service activity was attended by 20 teachers of SMAN 2 Kuala Mandor B, Kuburaya Regency. The instruments of the research were pre-test, post-test, and clinical performance. The data analysis technique was carried out by comparing the pre-test and post-test results. The results of this service indicated that the increase in teacher understanding included (1) teachers had understood the stages in scientific publications, (2) the teachers understood how to submit manuscripts to a national journal, and (3) the teachers understood how to find national journals according to their targets and needs. Thus, this service activity implies that it can increase knowledge, experience, and skills that are pretty good on partners' competence in supporting their careers as professional teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rata-rata hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran  Think Pair Share  (TPS) di kelas eksperimen, rata-rata hasil belajar tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran  Think Pair Share  (TPS) di kelas kontrol, dan perbedaan hasil belajar di kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen di SMA Koperasi Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan bentuk  Quasi Experimental Design  dengan desain  Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan dokumentasi. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas XI IPS 20 siswa, dan siswa kelas XII IPS 25 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan menggunakan teknik  sampling probability  siswa kelas XI IPS sebagai kelas kontrol dan XII IPS sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kelas eksperimen di kelas XII IPS diperoleh 84,80 untuk nilai  postest, rata-rata kelas kontrol di kelas XI IPS diperoleh 70,25 untuk nilai  postest, perbedaan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diperoleh dari nilai  Sig.  (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 0,05.    Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pada hasil belajar di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol pada hasil belajar di SMA Koperasi Pontianak pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Collaborative Learning strategy in the implementation of sociology learning in the Merdeka Curriculum in class XI IPS MAN 1 Pontianak. The background of this study is based on the dominance of monotonous and teacher-centered learning methods, resulting in suboptimal student engagement. Collaborative Learning is considered important because it can create an interactive learning atmosphere, foster cooperation, and train students' critical thinking skills. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research subjects were determined through purposive sampling, involving a sociology teacher and three students, while data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with data validity tested through source and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that Collaborative Learning is implemented through systematic planning, including the preparation of teaching modules, selection of materials, supporting media in the form of QuizWhizzer, and division into discussion groups. The implementation of this strategy generated positive responses from students in terms of cognitive, affective, and interactive aspects, as seen from their enthusiasm in discussions and an average quiz score of 88. The challenges faced included limited internet access and devices, but these did not diminish the effectiveness of the learning process. The conclusion of this study is that Collaborative Learning can be an effective strategy in supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum because it enhances student activity, cooperation, and learning outcomes in the subject of Sociology.

Abstract

Economics learning in secondary schools is often dominated by lecture methods, causing students to become passive and less able to connect concepts with real-life contexts. This condition affects their understanding of basic economic concepts, particularly production and consumption. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the discussion method in improving students’ comprehension of production and consumption concepts at SMA Negeri 1 Bengkayang. This research employed a descriptive approach with 30 purposively selected tenth-grade students as subjects. Data were collected through classroom observations, pre-test and post-test, as well as interviews, and analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ comprehension, as indicated by the increase in the average score from 65 in the pre-test to 82 in the post-test after implementing the discussion method. Moreover, observations and interviews showed that the discussion encouraged students to express their opinions confidently, enhanced collaboration skills, and fostered learning motivation. These results align with constructivist theory, which emphasizes the importance of social interaction and active learning experiences in building understanding. The study concludes that the discussion method contributes not only to the improvement of cognitive learning outcomes but also to the development of students’ affective and social aspects. The practical contribution of this research is to recommend that teachers integrate discussions more frequently in Economics learning, particularly in applied topics, and for schools to provide supporting facilities to ensure effective implementation.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, perkembangan teknologi membuat sektor ekonomi global ikut berkembang karena teknologi ini akan membantu aktivitas produksi sebuah usaha. Untuk itu, poin penting dalam dunia ekonomi adalah bagian produksi.Tanpa adanya produksi, bagian distribusi dan konsumsi tidak bisa berjalan dengan baik. Kegiatan produksi ini juga berkaitan erat dengan perilaku produsen. Produsen merupakan pihak yang berperan dalam menaikan nilai guna sebuah barang atau jasa. Dalam dunia kerja, perilaku produsen itu ada yang baik dan ada yang tidak. Ada yang jujur dan ada yang tidak jujur. Perilaku produsen pada sumber daya manusia sangat memegang peran dalam menjalankan strategi perusahaan. SDM di sini bertindak sebagai pengolah sumber daya atau pihak yang melakukan produksi secara tepat guna sesuai dengan aturan yang telah ditentukan. Apabila SDM tidak di kelola dan dirancang dengan baik akan menyembabkan ketimpangan dalam strategi perusahaan. Penelitian ini menkaji “Analisa Perilaku Produsen Berbasis Sumber Daya Manusia di dalam Industri” dengan tujuan untuk memaksimalkan sumber daya manusia dan meminimalisir biaya produsi untktuk mendapatkan keuntungan yang tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan penulis adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan atau library research. Hasil penlitiannya: perilaku produsen baik di lingkungan internal dan eksternal mampu menggerakkan sumber daya manusia dan sistem produksi demi mencapai tujuan usaha yaitu keuntungan yang tinggi.

Abstract

Pengelolaan keuangan pendidikan di Indonesia mengalami kendala, yaitu terbatasnya alokasi dana yang diterima sekolah, transparansi dalam pengelolaan anggaran, dan kapasitas pengelola keuangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengelolaan keuangan pendidikan guna mendukung efektivitas dan efisiensi alokasi sumber daya di lembaga pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi pustaka yang mengacu pada artikel-artikel yang terindeks di google scholar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penelaahan literatur terkait pengelolaan keuangan di sektor pendidikan, serta analisis kritis terhadap penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola pengelolaan keuangan yang efektif dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan keuangan yang baik di lembaga pendidikan sangat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Selain itu, transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam penggunaan anggaran menjadi faktor kunci dalam mewujudkan pengelolaan yang efisien. Namun, tantangan seperti kurangnya sumber daya finansial dan kurangnya kapasitas pengelola keuangan tetap menjadi kendala utama. Kesimpulannya, peningkatan kapasitas pengelola keuangan dan penerapan sistem pengawasan yang ketat diperlukan untuk memastikan pengelolaan keuangan yang lebih optimal, sehingga mampu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sistem manajemen keuangan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Kalimantan Barat dan dampaknya terhadap kualitas pendidikan. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini melibatkan 10 sekolah sebagai sampel yang dipilih secara acak. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada kepala sekolah, bendahara sekolah, dan guru, serta dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen keuangan yang baik, ditandai dengan transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan anggaran, berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Sekolah yang menerapkan manajemen keuangan secara efektif cenderung memiliki fasilitas yang lebih baik, program pembelajaran yang lebih beragam, serta hasil belajar siswa yang lebih tinggi. Namun, beberapa sekolah masih menghadapi tantangan dalam hal pencatatan yang akurat dan pengawasan internal. Kesimpulannya, sistem manajemen keuangan yang efisien dan transparan memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di SMP. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penguatan kapasitas manajemen keuangan di sekolah-sekolah agar dapat memaksimalkan penggunaan dana secara efektif dan akuntabel.

Abstract

The research analyzes the implementation of Gerakan Ayo Sekolah (GAS) Program in dealing with Out-of-school children (ATS) and Out of School Adults (DTS) in Ketapang Regency. Carried out in four sub-districts, namely Matan Hilir Utara, Muara Pawan, Delta Pawan, and Benua Kayong. This research method uses qualitative research, the results of the analysis show an average of strengths and weaknesses of 3.2, and opportunities and threats of 3. IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary) value is 2.81 and EFAS (External Factor Analysis Summary) is 2.79 placing GAS (Gerakan Ayo Sekolah) in a position of growth. Data shows an increase in the HDI (Human Development Index) from 67.92% (2021) to 68.68% (2023), associated with an increase in the average length of schooling through GAS (Gerakan Ayo Sekolah). A total of 54 individuals returned to school, both formal and non-formal. SWOT analysis integrates internal and external factors towards the implementation of GAS (Gerakan Ayo Sekolah). Matrix IE (Internal External) shows the growth potential of GAS (Gerakan Ayo Sekolah) in increasing the HDI (Human Development Index), with the intersection point in quadrant V, indicating the potential of GAS (Gerakan Ayo Sekolah) in increasing the HDI (Human Development Index) through efforts to overcome dropping out of school and preventing vulnerable children from dropping out of school.

Abstract

SMK must prepare students to enter the world of work with a better competitive advantage. Soft skills are one of the important keys in the modern world of work. Therefore, SMKs need to pay attention to the development of soft skills in students so that they are ready to face future challenges in the industrial world and the business world. This study aims to analyze the types and methods of developing soft skills that are implemented in Vocational High Schools. The research method used is qualitative research with a library research approach. The results of the study revealed that: The process of learning soft skills is not only knowledge delivery but must be able to create competent students both personally and interpersonally with the development of a soft skills curriculum in Vocational High Schools (SMK), the types of soft skills that need to be developed in the SMK Curriculum include the ability communication, cooperation, leadership, and adaptability. By implementing the right soft skill development strategy.
