Abstract

Quality assurance is needed to improve quality in performing the education. The curriculum is the soul in implementing the education. The OBE-based curriculum emphasizes the quality of outcomes produced by the education. Therefore, an in-depth study is needed to determine the implementation of internal quality assurance in OBE-based curriculum development. The aim of this research was to describe the implementation of internal quality assurance in OBE-based curriculum development. To achieve this goal, this research used a qualitative descriptive approach with a content analysis method. The documents which were analyzed were Permendikbudristek 53 in 2024 and the Guide to Preparing the Higher Education Curriculum (KPT) in 2024. The data analysis technique used was an interactive analysis model.  The result showed that the implementation of internal quality assurance in OBE curriculum development applied in the PPEPP cycle, namely Curriculum Determination (P), Curriculum Implementation (P), Curriculum Evaluation (E), Curriculum Control (P), and Curriculum Improvement (P).

Abstract

The lack of student learning development in physical education, sports, and health (PJOK) learning materials is a challenge for educators to improve students' learning understanding. This study aims to develop PJOK learning video media in the material of basic locomotor movement combinations for grade I elementary school students. This study is a development research (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The subjects of the study were grade I elementary school students. Data were obtained through non-test techniques to obtain data on the validity and practicality of the product and test methods for product effectiveness. Data were analyzed with percentages for validity and practicality tests, while effectiveness tests were carried out using a t-test burning with a one group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that the PJOK learning video material on the combination of basic locomotor movement patterns was declared very valid, practical with very good qualifications, and effective in improving students' understanding of locomotor movements. Based on these results, it was concluded that the innovation of PJOK learning videos on the combination of basic locomotor movement patterns was declared feasible as a learning resource and effective. This study has implications for improving elementary school students' understanding of basic locomotor movement combinations.

Abstract

Task-Based Learning (TBL) is a language teaching method that emphasizes providing graded tasks adjusted to learning abilities. This article aims to observe task-based learning (TBL) implementation in Japanese language training in the Japanese Language Center class. This TBL method is applied by giving pre-tests and post-tests to 35 students. There are 3 (three) tasks observed in this learning: vocabulary, context-based meaning, and simple language structures. The results show that implementing TBL is suitable for Japanese language center classes with diverse backgrounds in Japanese language ability. In addition, these tasks have structured and continuous characteristics so that the difficulty level will be controlled, which will make vocabulary mastery easier. The use of the Task-Based Learning method can improve student learning achievement. In this case, student achievement increased after implementing the Task-Based Learning method because this method excited students to learn to speak Japanese; this can be seen from the results of student responses. As many as 69.1% of students stated that they agreed and enjoyed learning using the task-based learning method, which made them interested in the lesson and no longer hesitant to speak Japanese. The application of the Task-Based Learning (TBL) method in the development of Japanese language teaching materials has been proven to have a significant positive impact on improving student communication skills, learning motivation, and the quality of teaching materials.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the integration of the whole language approach in multicultural education for third grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Kota Kupang in the 2022/2023 academic year. This classroom action research consisted of four stages in each cycle: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 25 third grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Kota Kupang. In cycle 1, the percentage of students reaching mastery learning was 20% with 5 students succeeding. In cycle 2, the percentage increased to 92% with 23 students succeeding. From cycle 1 to cycle 2 there was an improvement that met the success indicators. Thus this classroom action research was successful, indicating that implementing the whole language approach can improve students' reading comprehension skills. The whole language approach is used as a key instrument in multicultural education, helping to develop a generation that is not only literate but also able to appreciate and positively interact with various cultures.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the CIRC model assisted by story card media can support multicultural education in elementary schools. The research used is classroom action research (CAR), with research procedures including planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects used were 24 first grade students consisting of 14 boys and 10 girls. The achievement results at the initial observation showed that, of the 24 students, only 6 (27%) students were in the capable reading category. In the first cycle, as many as 6 (33.3%) students were able to read, 18 students (66.7%) were in the unable to read category. The number and percentage increased in the second cycle to 24 (100%) students who were able to read. Based on the results of the research and discussion above, it can be concluded that through the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model it can improve reading skills for first grade students at SD Inpres Tenubot, Belu Regency. The use of story card media in the CIRC model adds an inclusive and interactive dimension to the learning process, allowing students to explore various themes and stories that reflect cultural diversity.

Abstract

Literary literacy in schools was essential because it had a positive impact on both the academic and personal development of students, such as enhancing critical thinking skills. Students learnt to analyze plot, characters, and themes, as well as evaluated various perspectives and meanings within texts. Literary literacy also enriched vocabulary and language skills. Reading various literary genres expanded students' vocabulary and improved their ability to understand and use language effectively. The aimed of this study was to understand how literary literacy fostered and developeded in schools. This research used a literature study method with a narrative review model. In this narrative review, data from several journals were analyzed and summarized based on the author's experience. The study employed a qualitative method with secondary data obtained from relevant journals. The researchers used a descriptive analytical method, collecting, identifying, organizing, and analyzing various data found. The results of the study showed that the development and enhancement of literary literacy in schools in Indonesia include: 1) Intensive Reading Programs within the GLS program, 2) Use of Technology, 3) Interactive Teaching Methods, 4) Teacher Training and Professional Development, and 5) Improvement of School Libraries.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan subjek 26 orang guru di SMP Negeri 2 Sukasada tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pembelajaran berbasis TIK melalui pembimbingan, dilaksanakan dengan inovasi menggabungkan metode  workshop dan mentoring (shoping). Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yaitu rencana tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi/evaluasi, dan refleksi. Data nilai kompetensi guru dikumpulkan dengan lembar observasi, selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terjadi peningkatan kompetensi guru dari nilai rata-rata 53,4 dengan ketuntasan 42,3 % pada siklus awal menjadi nilai rata-rata 65,5 pada siklus I dengan  kenaikan 12,1 atau 18,5% dan ketuntasan 76,9%. Pada siklus II rata-rata nilai kompetensi guru naik 9,3 atau 12,4% menjadi 74,8 dengan ketuntasan 88,5%. Tanggapan guru berdasarkan kriteria yang ditetapkan terhadap pembimbingan dengan metode  workshop dan mentoring yang dsebarkan melalui angket adalah sangat positif. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan kompetensi guru dalam pembelajaran berbasis TIK di SMP Negeri 2 Sukasada dapat dinyatakan meningkat melalui pembimbingan dengan metode workshop dan mentoring (shoping)

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa yang sangat rendah. Lokasi penelitian ini di SMP Negeri 2 Sukasada Kecamatan Sukasada dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VII sebanyak 151 orang. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan  angket minat baca siswa yang kemudian dilakukan analisis secara kuantitatif. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah, yang  dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus dilakukan berdasar tahapan: (1) menyusun rencana kegiatan, (2) melaksanakan tindakan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal ditemukan minat siswa dalam membaca masih rendah. Setelah dilakukan tindakan siklus I minat siswa dalam membaca menjadi meningkat dengan rata-rata skor minat baca siswa 84,85 dengan jumlah siswa yang memiliki minat baca tinggi sebanyak 124 (82,12%) siswa. Hasil tindakan pada siklus II rata-rata skor minat baca siswa meningkat lagi menjadi 93,43 dengan 144 (93,36%) siswa sudah memiliki minat baca yang tinggi. Presentase ketuntasan minat baca pada siklus II ini telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan sehingga disimpulkan bahwa melalui Gerakan Literasi Sekolah dengan pojok baca asri dan perpustakaan dinding di sekolah dapat meningkatkan minat baca siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Sukasada Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018.Kata Kunci: literasi, minat baca, pojok baca asri, perpustakaan dinding

Abstract

Penggunaan metode pembelajaran konvensional menyebabkan rasa bosan pada siswa yang berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran PPKn melalui metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe team games tournament. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dengan 2 siklus.  dengan subyek penelitian siswa yang berjumlah 35 orang siswa. Data dan instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dikumpukan dengan teknik observasi instrument. Sedangkan hasil belajar siswa diambil pada setiap akhir siklus yang diberikan dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara memberikan tes akhir. Untuk aktivitas belajar siswa dianalisis dengan Lembar observasi, instrumen ini dirancang peneliti berkolaborasi dengan guru mitra. Dan hasil tes akhir dianalisis menggunakan statistic deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan aktivitas serta hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklusnya. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan d bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Teams Game Tournament (TGT) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar PPKN pada materi pokok Kasus-kasus Pelanggaran Hak Asasi Manusia dalam perspektif Pancasila siswa.
