Abstract

This research explores the cultural resistance of Balinese women in literary works. This research adopts the sociological theory of literature and feminist discourse as an analytical framework for studying literary works. The main aim of this study is to analyze various forms of resistance carried out by Balinese women, as represented in literary works, against patriarchal norms that are deeply rooted in Balinese culture. This research implements a qualitative approach to analyze three literary works. The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative, which involves operational steps, namely interpretation and classification, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. These three literary works were chosen as primary data sources because they contain ideological content regarding the discourse of Balinese women's resistance to patriarchal ideology. The data collection method in this research was carried out through literature study using reading and note-taking techniques. The findings of this research reveal that literary works contain significant elements of resistance, which depict women's courage and determination in facing discrimination and injustice. Apart from that, this research also reveals how the author uses language and cultural symbols to convey a feminist message, providing new insights into the social and cultural dynamics in Bali. This research has significance for a deeper understanding of the position and role of women in Balinese society, as well as presenting a new perspective in the study of feminism and cultural literature. The findings obtained emphasize the importance of literature as a means of resistance and self-expression for women in traditional cultural contexts. Keywords : Cultural resistance, Balinese women, feminist discourse.

Abstract

Curriculum, derived from the Latin "curriculae," originally meant the distance traveled by runners and now refers to the duration of education. According to Law No. 20 of 2003, curriculum is a learning plan to achieve educational goals. In Indonesia, the curriculum is updated periodically according to developments in the era. Its main components are interrelated objectives, materials, methods, and evaluations. Ralph W. Tyler emphasizes the importance of these four aspects in understanding the curriculum, although its implementation is often complex and requires adjustment. Learning methods are the means used to achieve curriculum goals through specific procedures. Subject-centered approach: Materials come from teaching subjects and are delivered through communication between teachers and students. A student-centered approach, learning based on students' needs, interests, and abilities, with a focus on individualization. A community-oriented approach, integrating schools and communities through field trips, work experiences, and community service projects. Components of a language learning curriculum, such as objectives, methods, materials, assessments, and language skill development, are essential to ensure an effective learning process. Strong curriculum design supports optimal language growth for students

This study aims to develop PJOK learning video media in the material of basic locomotor movement combinations for grade I elementary school students. This study is a development research (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The subjects of the study were grade I elementary school students. Data were obtained through non-test techniques to obtain data on the validity and practicality of the product and test methods for product effectiveness. Data were analyzed with percentages for validity and practicality tests, while effectiveness tests were carried out using a t-test burning with a one group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that the PJOK learning video material on the combination of basic locomotor movement patterns was declared very valid, practical with very good qualifications, and effective in improving students' understanding of locomotor movements. Based on these results, it was concluded that the innovation of PJOK learning videos on the combination of basic locomotor movement patterns was declared feasible as a learning resource and effective. This study has implications for improving elementary school students' understanding of basic locomotor movement combinations.

Abstract

Task-Based Learning (TBL) is a language teaching method that emphasizes providing graded tasks adjusted to learning abilities. This article aims to observe task-based learning (TBL) implementation in Japanese language training in the Japanese Language Center class. This TBL method is applied by giving pre-tests and post-tests to 35 students. There are 3 (three) tasks observed in this learning: vocabulary, context-based meaning, and simple language structures. The results show that implementing TBL is suitable for Japanese language center classes with diverse backgrounds in Japanese language ability. In addition, these tasks have structured and continuous characteristics so that the difficulty level will be controlled, which will make vocabulary mastery easier. The use of the Task-Based Learning method can improve student learning achievement. In this case, student achievement increased after implementing the Task-Based Learning method because this method excited students to learn to speak Japanese; this can be seen from the results of student responses. As many as 69.1% of students stated that they agreed and enjoyed learning using the task-based learning method, which made them interested in the lesson and no longer hesitant to speak Japanese. The application of the Task-Based Learning (TBL) method in the development of Japanese language teaching materials has been proven to have a significant positive impact on improving student communication skills, learning motivation, and the quality of teaching materials.

This research aims to analyze how the CIRC model assisted by story card media can support multicultural education in elementary schools. The research used is classroom action research (CAR), with research procedures including planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects used were 24 first grade students consisting of 14 boys and 10 girls. The achievement results at the initial observation showed that, of the 24 students, only 6 (27%) students were in the capable reading category. In the first cycle, as many as 6 (33.3%) students were able to read, 18 students (66.7%) were in the unable to read category. The number and percentage increased in the second cycle to 24 (100%) students who were able to read. Based on the results of the research and discussion above, it can be concluded that through the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model it can improve reading skills for first grade students at SD Inpres Tenubot, Belu Regency. The use of story card media in the CIRC model adds an inclusive and interactive dimension to the learning process, allowing students to explore various themes and stories that reflect cultural diversity.
