Abstract

This study is motivated by the performance of teachers who have not been maximized in SMK in Losari, Brebes. so that there needs to be a more approach so that teacher performance becomes better. The aim of this study became to acquire an overview of: the relationship among principal supervision and the work environment of Vocational high school teachers in Losari, Brebes, the impact of principal supervision on the overall performance of Vocational high school teachers in Losari, Brebes Subdistrict, the influence of the work environment at the overall performance of Vocational high school teachers in Losari Brebes Subdistrict, the effect of principal supervision and work environment at the performance of Vocational high school teachers in Losari, Brebes Subdistrict. The method of studies uses a quantitative method, which means that each one information or data obtained is realized with numbers, and the analysis used is statistical analysis. With proportional random sampling approach, and taken as a sample of 110 human beings from a populace of 151 teachers. Results of the study all variables have been significantly related. And the conclusion of this examine is that the variables of principal clinical supervision and work environment have an effect of 57.3%, at the performance of vocational high school teachers in Losari, Brebes sub-district, while the remaining 42.7% is stimulated through different variables that aren't studied

Abstract

Essay writing is a skill that must be mastered by students, especially English Literature Study Program students. Writing essays in English is a challenge in itself which of course has a lot of problems in the process. In writing essays in English, of course, you have to follow the correct writing rules. Mastery of several important aspects of writing including grammar, vocabulary, content, mechanism and organization is very important to be able to create good and easy-to-understand writing. Besides that. there are several things that need to be considered to create accuracy in writing such as sentence structure, cohesive devices in writing, and so on. In this study, the focus is on the problem of writing sentences. This study investigates sentence writing problems such as sentence fragments, run-on sentences, parallel structures, comma connections, and so on which are often encountered. This study involved semester student essays 6 English Literature study programs. The reason for selecting sixth semester students for the English Literature study program is because at this level students have already taken Writing and Grammar courses. This study aims to explain the phenomena of the sentence problems. This research is expected to contribute to the academic field. The contribution in question is a contribution in improving learning strategies related to writing. Therefore the author chose the research title "Sentence Problem in essay writing for students of the English Literature study program, Pamulang University".

Abstract

English as a second or foreign language, it is often found that learning English is not an easy task, In order to overcome that difficulty, there are many factors that can be counted in, including learning strategies. Learning strategies are considered as self-improvement devices that might be driven by learners themselves or by teachers. In addition, culture might play important role in determining learning strategy since culture cannot be separated from language as well as its learning/teaching. This paper attempts to provide a learning strategy that might meet with Indonesian students’ cultural background. As noticed, Indonesians commonly hold mutual assistance as one of life principles. Hence, this paper also provides an explanation concerning learning strategy which may meet with mutual assistance principle: collaborative learning.

Abstract

In a research work has a purpose, where the research was conducted to determine the influence of leadership style and giving bonuses to employee loyalty at PT. Astra Sedaya Finance Medan Branch. This research was conducted at PT. Astra Sedaya Finance Medan Branch, with a population and sample of 85 employees, including contract employees. The research instrument is a questionnaire/questionnaire with a Likert scale model. The requirements test is carried out by testing the validity and reliability tests as well as the classical assumption test. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression technique at a significance level of = 0.05. In testing the first hypothesis, it has partially proven that there is an influence between Leadership Style on Employee Loyalty with a significant value level of 0.000 <0.05, thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Then partially testing the second hypothesis has proven that the effect of Bonus Giving on Employee Loyalty has a significant effect of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus Ha is accepted, H0 is rejected. Furthermore, the F test proves that two independent variables have a simultaneous influence on the dependent variable with a significant value of F count 0.000 <0.05 which is declared to have a positive and significant effect. From the results of the coefficient of determination of the value of R Square, all independent variables have an influence with a percentage of 41.1% and the excess is influenced by other factors, which are 58.9% which is not yet known.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic education in preventing radicalism among youth. The rise of radicalism, especially among the younger generation, is a major challenge to social stability and security in Indonesia. Inclusive and moderate Islamic education has great potential in building a peaceful and tolerant understanding of religion, as well as preventing the spread of extremist ideologies. This study uses a qualitative approach with the library research method. Data was obtained through observation, and analysis of documents. The results of the study show that the Islamic education curriculum that emphasizes the values of moderation, tolerance, and respect for differences can be a fortress for youth in facing radical narratives. In addition, the role of teachers and a conducive educational environment are also important in shaping anti-radicalism attitudes. This study recommends strengthening character education programs based on moderate Islamic values as a preventive effort in preventing radicalism among youth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami efektivitas pelaksanaan sanksi pidana terhadap pelaku tindak pidana narkotika, serta untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor apa yang memengaruhi efektivitas sanksi pidana terhadap pelaku tindak pidana narkotika. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode normatif empiris dan dilaksanakan di Pengadilan Negeri Kelas 1B Cirebon, dengan responden terdiri dari Panitera Muda dan tim yang berada di ruang pidana Pengadilan Negeri Kelas 1B Cirebon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pelaksanaan sanksi pidana terhadap pelaku tindak pidana narkotika kurang optimal disebabkan oleh penjatuhan pidana yang tidak menghasilkan dampak atau deterrent effect yang memadai terhadap pelaku. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitasnya meliputi lingkungan, agama, dan pekerjaan. Sebagai saran, dianjurkan untuk memperkuat lagi perundang-undangan yang mengatur tentang penyalahgunaan narkotika agar pengedar narkotika tidak mengulangi tindakan mereka.

Abstract

This community service program aims to provide assistance and education in the implementation of tahsin and tahfidzul Qur'an programs in Merbau Village, Bunut District, Pelalawan Regency. This initiative is presented as a strategic step in an effort to eradicate Qur'an illiteracy which is still a challenge among the local community. Through this program, it is hoped that the community can better understand and practice the values contained in the Qur'an, thus not only improving their ability to read the Qur'an, but also strengthening their faith and devotion. This assistance is carried out by following a series of steps, including preparation, coordination with partner foundations, coordination with the village government, education about tahsin and tahfidzul Qur'an programs, assistance in signing the MoU between the two parties, and support in establishing an independent foundation. By involving various related parties, this service program is expected to help overcome the problem of Qur'an illiteracy in the community. The result of this program is the increasing number of community members who are able to read and memorize the Qur'an, so that overall it can reduce the number of Qur'an illiteracy in Merbau Village and its surroundings.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia (SDM) merupakan aset terpenting bagi setiap instansi atau organisasi, karena keberadaannya memegang peranan penting dalam setiap aspek keberhasilan instansi atau perusahaan. Kepuasan kerja merupakan perasaan senang atau tidak senang yang dirasakan karyawan terhadap dan melaksanakan pekerjaannya. Kepuasan kerja karyawan dapat dipengaruhi oleh kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan intelektual, dan kecerdasan spiritual. Hingga saat ini, belum ada penelitian yang membahas secara mendalam tentang pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan intelektual, dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan pada perusahaan ekspedisi di Kota Mataram. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan intelektual, dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan pada perusahaan ekspedisi di Kota Mataram. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 30 responden yang merupakan karyawan perusahaan ekspedisi di Kota Mataram. Analisis data kemudian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan intelektual, dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan pada perusahaan ekspedisi di Kota Mataram. Terdapat pengaruh langsung dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan intelektual, dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap kepuasan kerja. Terdapat pengaruh langsung dan signifikan antara kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah konsep yang terkandung dalam pendidikan Islam berdasarkan QS. An-Nisa 59, QS. An-Nur 54, dan QS. Muhammad 33, serta relevansinya terhadap pengembangan karakter moral dan spiritual peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan studi pustaka untuk memahami makna ayat-ayat tersebut dan menerapkannya dalam praktik pendidikan Islam kontemporer. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kepatuhan kepada Allah, Rasul, dan ulil amri (pemegang otoritas) bersifat bersyarat, berlaku hanya jika perintah sesuai dengan syariat dan tidak bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam. Pendidikan Islam tidak hanya mengembangkan aspek intelektual, tetapi juga membentuk dimensi moral, spiritual, dan sosial yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai wahyu. Penelitian ini menegaskan urgensi penguatan pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai Islam untuk menghadapi tantangan global tanpa kehilangan identitas keislaman. Selain itu, keberadaan fondasi menjadi penting bagi kedamaian sosial dan pengembangan individu Muslim secara utuh. Kajian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model pendidikan Islam yang komprehensif dan kontekstual di Indonesia, mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai normatif agama dengan strategi pedagogis yang efektif untuk melahirkan generasi beriman, berakhlak mulia, dan mampu menghadapi dinamika zaman dengan kesadaran spiritual dan moral yang kuat.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation model of an integrated Islamic Religious Education (IRE) curriculum at SD Abata Islamic School Karawang. The background of this study is the need to strengthen the synergy between IRE learning and general subjects and Islamic values to support student character development. The research method used a qualitative case study approach with the main techniques of participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, involving a total of 15 informants consisting of the principal, IRE teachers, classroom teachers, curriculum coordinators, students, and parents. The results showed that the PAI curriculum integration model comprised three main components: (1) the development of learning themes that linked PAI competencies with cross-subject competencies; (2) collaboration among teachers in designing contextual and Islamic-based learning; and (3) evaluation that covered cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects. This implementation model was carried out consistently for one semester based on a cycle of planning, implementation, and evaluation. As a result, the application of the integrated curriculum model was proven to improve students' understanding of religious values, strengthen attitudes of tolerance and discipline, and support the achievement of more holistic learning outcomes. This study recommends that schools adopt this model as a framework for developing an integrated PAI curriculum and provide ongoing training for teachers to optimize its implementation.
