Abstract

 Penelitian ini didasarkan pada kurangnya minat belajar siswa-siswi SMP Islam Sabilurrasyad Malang terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Arab serta kesulitan yang dialami ketika pembelajaran Maharah Kitabah. Latar belakang siswa yang berbeda ikut andil menentukan hasil belajar masing-masing siswa. Selain itu pembelajaran juga lebih sering menggunkan metode ceramah yang tidak memberikan kesempatan siswa dalam melatih kemampuannya terkait Maharah Kitabah, sehingga pembelajaran dirasa kurang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalis kebutuhan siswa dan masalah yang dihadapinya serta memberikan alternatif model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan antusiasme siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, memberikan kesempatan siswa dalam mengasah kemampuan Maharah Kitabah serta mengatasi perbedaan latar belakang siswa dan kemampuannya terkait Maharah Kitabah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menggali informasi dan data di lapangan terkait masalah yang dihadapi siswa dalam pembelajaran Maharah Kitabah. Data penelitian ini digali dari siswa dan guru bahasa Arab serta pihak-pihak yang terkait dengan pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan adanya kesesuaian terkait masalah yang dihadapi siswa SMP Islam Sabilurrasyad apabila menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Turnament (TGT) sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi masalah dan meningkatkan minat serta hasil belajar Maharah Kitabah.

Abstract

Qawaid is an element of Arabic that must be mastered by Arabic language learners, including students of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, though it is still seen difficult until today. The learning of qawaid that has been running so far relies on traditional methods and strategies, i.e. the deductive method (tariqah qiyasiyah) and inductive (tariqah istiqra'iyyah). It is done by asking the students to write sentences (jumlah mufidah) on a sheet or assignment book. This study aims to explore a strategy of language game named adlif kalimatan (add one word) in learning qawaid in the said department. It is a case study and uses a qualitative approach. Data collection is carried out from observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the language game of adlif kalimatan is able to make instructional activity more interesting and is able to motivate students to apply qawaid in speaking and writing skills.

Abstract

TikTok has once been seen bad by the public and even banned by the Indonesian government. The advantage of TikTok applications, one of which is a medium of Project-Based Learning, is, thus, a challenge to gain. This paper aims to describe the use of the TikTok application as a medium for Arabic language learning through Project-Based Learning on vocabulary material carried out at Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Wathan (MA NW) Pringgasela and to reveal students' perspectives regarding this matter. This paper is packaged with a qualitative descriptive approach, while data collection is through observation and interviews. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model, i.e. reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. This study concludes that using the TikTok application as a learning medium can be an innovation in Arabic learning. The strengths felt by students include: learning becomes more exciting and less boring, students get new experiences, students become more active, and it is easy to memorize the vocabulary they learn. The study also finds that the drawbacks of this application are that it takes a long time in the manufacturing process, requires an internet connection, and the lack of teacher supervision in using the TikTok application outside of school.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the optimization of students' Arabic writing skills through the collaboration of Herbart method with cooperative learning. Using a qualitative method, the study informs that the implementation of Herbart method in the basic concepts of writing and the writing of hamzah is carried out in five stages, i.e. planning, material presentation, material association, conclusion, and application. In this case, the cooperative learning is placed in the fifth stage, i.e. application, by providing in-group exercises to students. With this collaboration, the students are able to make Arabic sentences based on the elements of writing that have been studied, such as making sentences from words starting with hamzah, analyzing a word form and converting it into another form, and being able to write words and their harakat correctly. Thus, this study concluded that the collaboration of Herbart method with cooperative learning was able to improve students' Arabic writing skills by applying several exercises in groups; it makes students accustomed to writing in Arabic.

Abstract

The Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) language strongly indicates the sociolinguistic phenomenon as it reflects gender marking in language use. This study aims to explore how the Arabic letters attributed to specific gender identities, how the gender ideology of Arab culture create gender biases, and how the biases influence Arab social structure. It uses aspects of masculinity and femininity of Arabic letters that affect gender inequality and order of values on language, tradition and culture. Masculine letters are letters that have the property of being able to hold and entail other letters, while feminine letters that have the nature can be attached with other letters but cannot be attached. In this study, Arabic letters were mapped by observing their use in written and oral interaction in the contexts of Arab as first and second language. This research is a qualitative in nature. The data on ideology's influence on social structure were collected through interviews with three key informants representing their areas of expertise on language anthropology, sociolinguistic, and applied linguistic. The morphological analysis was carried out to identify the internal structure of the words. The sociolinguistic analysis explored the linguistic construction that to social construction. The finding showed that their internal structures, these letters were classified as masculine or feminine. From the sociolinguistic point of view, gender issues following social construction that has already formed gender relations. In other words, Arabic letters affect the order of values that tend to be gender-biased in the Arabic context.

Abstract

Maharah kalam (Keterampilan berbicara) adalah kemampuan mengungkapkan bunyi-bunyi artikulasi atau kata-kata untuk mengekspresikan pikiran berupa ide, pendapat, keinginan, atau perasaan secara lisan kepada mitra pembicara. Maharah kalam dalam konteks Bahasa arab merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang menjadi dasar utama dalam Bahasa Arab, sehingga mahasiswa wajib menguasainya. Namun, sebagian besar mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dalam berbicara Bahasa Arab yang mayoritas disebabkan oleh faktor ketidak percayaan diri mereka dalam berbicara Bahasa arab, kurangnya penguasaan mufrodat, dan lain sebagainya. Oleh karena itu, sebagai pengajar harus menguasai berbagai metode dan menggunakan beberapa metode agar pembelajaran menjadi efektif, salah satunya menggunakan metode Ta’bir Ash-Shuwar Al-‘Asywai atau dikenal dengan metode story telling menggunakan media gambar seri. Yang mana metode tersebut yaitu metode yang mendiskripsikan atau menceritakan gambar yang telah di susun dari gambar yang di acak. dan sesuai dengan observasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, bahwa dengan metode dan media ynag diterapkan oleh peneliti terhadap mahasiswa semester III Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Aarab di IAIN Madura dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan berbicara dan meningkatkan minat mereka dalam pembelajaran maharaha kalam.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to apply Sharaf learning to students after using the Inquiry model with Tashrif Snowball method. The study was conducted at Department of Arabic Education in UIN Malang. This study used quantitative and qualitative methods with the Classroom Action Research / PTK approach. The data collection process used the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instrument used the observation sheet of accomplishment. The results of this study the feasibility of seeing from the processes in cycles 1 and 2 and the results are; 45.5% to 81.8% understand the material, then from 36.4% to 13.6% do not understand the material yet and 18.1% to 4.6% do not understand the material. In conclusion, the implication of the Inquiry method is students' results have improved and have become accustomed to thinking critically about the sub- material of sharaf learning. In addition. It can be concluded that the inquiry learning model with the Snowball Tashrif method is good to be applied in Sharaf learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan strategi pembelajaran kolaboratif dalam maharah kitabah dengan proses pembelajaran yang tatap muka di MA Asy-Syifa Totikum. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan tiga teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu: observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa dengan diterapkannya strategi kolaboratif dalam pembelajaran kitabah hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan. Adapun penerapan strategi kolaboratif dalam pembelajaran kitabah bahasa Arab dilakukan melalui tahap-tahap: menentukan tujuan belajar, membagi siswa ke dalam kelompok yang heterogen berdasarkan hasil nilai lapor bahasa Arab dan jenis kelamin, guru memberikan tugas menulis bebas kepada semua siswa, siswa diminta untuk memilih tema yang sudah ditentukan kemudian siswa menulis berdasarkan tema tersebut dengan menggunakan kosakata, tarkib, dan kemampuan berbahasa yang telah dipelajari, apabila mereka memiliki kesulitan dalam membuat karangan siswa berdiskusi dengan teman kelompoknya. Selain itu, siswa diminta untuk menuliskan kosakata-kosakata baru di bawah karangan tersebut, sehingga siswa dapat mempelajari, menambah kosakata, dan meningkatkan daya ingat siswa.

Abstract

Hijrah conception has experienced a shift of meaning between its concept in the Prophet's era and today. Hijrah is often associated with the use of niqob and radicalism. By wearing niqob as a means of hijrah, someone does not merely modify her fashion, but also her behavior. There is also an assumption that those who are not wearing niqob have yet to hijrah. This research aims to find out the concept of hijrah for women with niqob, including the background and the influence of the concept of hijrah on their religiosity. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research method. The data were collected from chats in a Niqober group, in which a discussion on hijrah was conducted. The conversations were captured, selected, sorted, classified, and displayed in tables. Then, the data were analyzed descriptively and iteratively. The results of this study indicate that today, hijrah has three concepts: a change in circumstance, a change in behavior, and a change in fashion. Wearing a niqob, as a form of hijrah, is influenced by some factors, such as the factors of partner, family, and environment. The concept of hijrah for Niqobers influences the meaning in religion. First, hijrah is symbolized with the use of niqob. Second, a woman who does hijrah by wearing niqob is considered to be radical. Third, hijrah using niqob means following the Arabic culture. This study suggests conducting an education related to the concept of hijrah that are believed by the Niqobers. To use niqob does not only mean hijrah, but also it is the Prophet's sunnah, and it is not obligated. Therefore, it cannot be assumed that women who do not wear niqob have yet to commit hijrah.

Abstract

Arabic Learning is a subject that is rarely interested by students so they find difficult to understand it. Therefore, the teacher must use the right approach in learning. This study aims to analyze and describe the process of Arabic learning based on the constructivism approach and the inhibiting factors of this learning process. To achieve these objectives, researcher use a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. To analyze the data obtained, researcher use interactive analysis. The results showed that the constructivist learning model applied in the process Arabic learning at MAN 1 Pamekasan is the Learning Cycle Constructivism Model which consists of three stages, namely discourse, concept recognition, and application of concepts. Learning Arabic at MAN 1 Pamekasan using the constructivism approach has not been running optimally. This is evidenced by the lack of student activity in learning activities, because several factors, it is the difference in the characteristics of each student, the limited time to deliver learning material, the lack of student interest in Arabic learning, the educational background of students before entering MAN 1 Pamekasan where, the number of students in each class was uneven, There are many mistakes in the worksheet (LKS), and the lack of learning tools and facilities.
