Abstract

This study aims to develop an inventory suitable for counselors to use to measure students' internet addiction. This research method is a development research. The number of samples was 302 students at senior high school Malang City who were selected by using the Random Sampling technique. The inventory was compiled using the Internet addiction Likert scale and the validator test score sheet. Data analysis using Pearson Product Moment to calculate the validity of the item, Alpha Cronbach to calculate the reliability coefficient and factor analysis to determine the adequacy of the sample or the feasibility of all inventory statement items. The results of this development research resulted in an internet addiction inventory consisting of 43 valid statement items and had a high reliability coefficient of 0.933. This internet addiction inventory has 6 correlated factors, according to the internet addiction construct based on Young's theory which underlies the development of inventory. This inventory is needed by counselors to measure internet addiction in students.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the educational quality of Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum, alongside the competency of students and the satisfaction level of the framework partners. An exploratory and descriptive approach was employed, involving students and partners associated with MBKM during the semester 2021/2022 academic session. A descriptive quantitative approach was also used, involving a total of 199 respondents selected through complete sampling. This group comprised 189 students, with 3 university associates, and 8 non-university partners. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire provided by the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Analysis, and Technology, and subjected to simple regression analysis. The results showed that MBKM implementation met the quality standards encompassing education, array, community engagement, and additional criteria as specified in SN-DIKTI. This indicated a positive connection between the competency of students and the satisfaction of MBKM partners. Therefore, this study observed that MBKM implementation successfully achieved the education quality criteria for graduate competency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas pendekatan Talking Stick dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa SMA untuk mengemukakan pendapat di kelas. Kepercayaan diri merupakan elemen kunci dalam pendidikan yang memengaruhi partisipasi aktif siswa dan keberhasilan proses belajar. Kurangnya kepercayaan diri dapat menyebabkan masalah psikologis dan sosial yang serius. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi desain quasi-eksperimental, dengan rancangan yang digunakan adalah one-group pretest-posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 1 Arjasa kelas XI IPS dengan teknik pengambilan sampel Stratified Random Sampling, analisa data hasil penelitian menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik uji t atau uji beda (t test) dengan dua rata-rata (paired-samples t test) dengan alat uji menggunakan software SPSS 22. Diperoleh hasil analisis uji t dengan sampel berpasangan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa nilai Signifikansi (2-tailed) adalah 0,000, yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam hal kepercayaan diri untuk menyampaikan pendapat. Temuan dari studi ini bisa menjadi informasi yang berguna bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling serta para profesional di bidang tersebut. Informasi ini dapat dianggap sebagai faktor pertimbangan dalam pengembangan dan penerapan strategi bimbingan dan konseling yang efektif, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan kepada mahasiswa, siswa, atau individu yang mengalami isu kepercayaan diri dalam menyampaikan pendapat, baik yang berada pada level rendah, menengah, ataupun tinggi.

Abstract

Bystander effect diartikan sebagai kondisi seseorang yang hanya menjadi penonton terhadap suatu peristiwa darurat, namun tidak melakukan tindakan apapun karena kehadiran orang lain, tanpa memandang lokasi maupun waktu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui seberapa efektif penerapan bimbingan kelompok melalui permainan simulasi shadow puppet untuk mengurangi tingkat bystander effect siswa. Jumlah responden sebanyak 12 orang dengan metode stratified random sampling. Desain penelitian adalah one group pre-test dan post-test dengan menggunakan skala bystander effect. Data dianalisis menggunakan wilcoxon signed rank test dan SPSS 25 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian data sebelum dan setelah pemberian layanan bimbingan kelompok melalui permainan simulasi shadow puppet diketahui adanya perbedaan tingkat bystander effect dari skor 69,67 menjadi 39,83 dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,002 dan probabilitas <0,05 yang berarti H0 ditolak. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok melalui permainan simulasi shadow puppet efektif untuk mengurangi tingkat bystander effect siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) validitas modul ajar berbasis hypercontent yang dikembangkan, 2) kepraktisan modul ajar berbasis hypercontent yang dikembangkan, dan 3) keefektifan terhadap penerapan setiap indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development menggunakan desain ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa-siswi kelas XI di sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Sei Suka. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah angket validasi ahli media, angket validasi ahli eksperimen, angket respon siswa, lembar observasi kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan instrumen hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian oleh ahli media diperoleh skor rata-rata 88,6% dengan kategori sangat valid dan untuk penilaian ahli eksperimen skor rata-rata 94% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil kepraktisan modul yang ditinjau dari angket respon siswa diperoleh skor kepraktisan sebesar 85,5%, dengan kategori sangat praktis. Adapun aspek keefektifan diperoleh adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa sebesar 83% dengan kategori sangat efektif dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa diperoleh n-gain sebesar 0,70 dengan kriteria cukup efektif. Kata-kata kunci: modul Hypercontent, berpikir kreatif. Abstract This study aims to determine: 1) the validity of the developed hypercontent-based teaching modules, 2) the practicality of the developed hypercontent-based teaching modules, and 3) the effectiveness of implementing each indicator of creative thinking skills and student learning outcomes. This type of research is Research and Development using the ADDIE design (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The population in the study were all students of class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Sei Suka. The instruments used in the study were media expert validation questionnaires, experimental expert validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, observation sheets for creative thinking skills and student learning outcomes instruments. The results of research by media experts obtained an average score of 88.6% with a very valid category and for the assessment of experimental experts an average score of 94% with a very valid category. The results of the practicality of the module in terms of the student response questionnaire obtained a practicality score of 85.5%, with a very practical category. As for the aspect of effectiveness, it was obtained that there was an increase in students' creative thinking abilities of 83% with very effective categories and an increase in student learning outcomes obtained an n-gain of 0.70 with criteria quite effective. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan Pembelajaran Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas VII SMPI DARUDD’WAH. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu ( quasi experimental ), sedangkan desain digunakan, yaitu one group pre test- post test design. T1 adalah tes awal ( pre test ) dilakukan sebelum diberi perlakuan, X ialah perlakuan ( treatment ) diberikan kepada siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran RME, T2 Tes akhir ( post test ) dilakukan setelah diberi perlakuan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPI DARUDDA’WAH Punggur Kecil, yang terdiri dari 13 siswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah satu kelas yaitu kelas VII SMPI dari keseluruhan populasi yang dipilih. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah lembar observasi atau pengamatan dan tes tertulis, sedangkan instrumen penelitiannya menggunakan soal tes dan lembar observasi. Analisa dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji N Gain. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest 31,53 dan nilai rata-rata posttest 71,53 dengan selisih perhitungan N Gain 0,52. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian model pembelajaran RME dinyatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan adanya peningkatan antara nilai pretest dan posttest. Rata-rata posstest lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai rata-rata pretest dengan kategori sedang. Kata Kunci : Efektivitas Pembelajaran Realistic Mathematic Education (RME), Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah

Abstract

This study examines the significance of the paths: (1) from social support to career adaptability, (2) from work value to career adaptability, (3) from self-esteem to career adaptability, (4) from social support to career adaptability via self-esteem, and (5) from work value to career adaptability via self-esteem. A total of 265 students from the Faculty of Education Universitas Negeri Malang who participated in the Asistensi Mengajar (AM) Program were selected using a simple random sampling technique. Four instruments were used to collect data: the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS), the Work Value Inventory (WVI), the Self-Esteem Scale, and the Social Support Scale. The data were analysed using path analysis. The findings revealed that all paths have significance values below 0.05, indicating that all proposed paths are acceptable.  The analysis also shows that work value has a direct effect on self-esteem, with a coefficient of 0.160, while social support exhibits a more substantial direct effect on self-esteem, with a coefficient of 0.412. Self-esteem directly influences career adaptability with a coefficient of 0.435. Indirectly, work value impacts career adaptability via self-esteem with a coefficient of 0.070, and social support influences career adaptability via self-esteem with a coefficient of 0.179. The total effects of work value and social support on career adaptability via self-esteem were calculated to be 0.230 and 0.591, respectively. These results suggest that social support has a more pronounced total effect on career adaptability compared to work value, primarily due to its stronger direct effect on self-esteem. The study underscores the critical role of self-esteem as a mediator in enhancing career adaptability through social support and work values.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Johari Window technique in group counseling and to investigate how this technique can enhance students' self-disclosure. It is anticipated that with an improved understanding of self-disclosure through the Johari Window technique, students will be able to reap maximum benefits from the educational process, not only in academic aspects but also in their social and emotional development. The method employed in this research is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which involves systematic steps to search, select, and analyze relevant literature sources. During the data collection process, this study examined and compiled a variety of publication types, including articles, journals, dissertations, theses, and dissertations from various sources related to the research topic. The findings indicate that the Johari Window technique is effective in group counseling for enhancing student self-disclosure.

Abstract

The lack of empathy shown by counselors towards their clients is a significant concern, as it can create discomfort and make clients reluctant to talk. To enhance empathy skills, it is essential to consider cultural aspects, one of which is drawing inspiration from the virtues contained in Serat Wedharaga to enrich the empathy abilities of prospective counselors. This study used a qualitative approach with a hermeneutic design, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation steps. The findings from the analysis of Serat Wedharaga have the potential to significantly contribute to improving counselor empathy. The study identified values such as humility, honesty, a learning spirit, responsibility, polite language, and perseverance. The main aspects of empathy, including social interaction, cognitive behavior, and emotional identification, were integrable with these values. For example, the values of humility and honesty in Serat Wedharaga support good communication skills in terms of social interaction. Similarly, the text’s spirit of learning and responsibility supports the understanding and imagination of others' views and perspectives in cognitive behavior. Additionally, the values of polite language and perseverance in Serat Wedharaga support the ability to feel and understand others' emotions in terms of emotional identification. These findings provide an essential basis for developing aspects of empathy that can be integrated with the concept of empathy, which can later be applied to enrich the guidance and counseling curriculum, including adding an empathy development course for prospective counselors.

Abstract

The Sexual Bullying Questionnaire (SeBuQu) is an instrument developed to assess students' understanding of sexual violence at SMPN 30 Malang. This study aims to develop a valid and reliable sexual bullying questionnaire instrument using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The objective is for the validated instrument (SeBuQu) to be usable by counselors to assess students' understanding of sexual bullying in schools. The method used to validate this instrument is Confirmatory Factor Analysis. The results of this study indicate that all questionnaire items significantly contribute to the measured construct, understanding sexual bullying, as confirmed through CFA. The analysis shows that this instrument has a good goodness-of-fit, indicating that the proposed model is valid. Through the use of this instrument, it is hoped that counselors can take a more proactive role in educating students about sexual violence, fostering a safer school environment, and reducing incidents of sexual bullying among adolescents. Future research could focus on adapting and applying this instrument in different school contexts and exploring factors that influence students' understanding of sexual violence.
