Abstract

The main issue in this study is “Analysis of Non-Equal Marriage Practices in Ammatoa Customary Law and the Pasang ri Kajang Tradition from an Islamic Law Perspective.” This research aims to provide an overview of the practice of non-equal marriages in the Ammatoa customary area, analyze the impact of non-equal marriage practices on the Ammatoa Kajang community, and elaborate the Islamic legal perspective on customary rules regarding non-equal marriage within the Ammatoa society. This study is qualitative (field research) with an ethnographic focus on the Pasang ri Kajang tradition, employing normative juridical, sociological, and anthropological approaches. Data sources were obtained from customary leaders, community members, the village head of Bontoharu, youth leaders, customary officials, religious leaders, the Bulukumba Ulama Council, Nahdlatul Ulama Bulukumba, and academicians. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing and analysis were conducted through data editing, data reduction, data presentation, comparative analysis, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the practice of non-equal marriage according to the Pasang ri Kajang tradition is permissible when the male party belongs to the puang (noble) class and the female party belongs to the ata (commoner) class. Conversely, marriages between women from the puang class and men from the ata class are prohibited, as they are considered contrary to prevailing customary law. This practice contributes to discriminatory treatment against the ata class, both socially and within the customary legal system, leading to psychological pressure, limited social space, and the non-fulfillment of equality before the law.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning media based on a Digital Reseller Platform to enhance entrepreneurial motivation among senior high school students. The media is designed to facilitate students’ practical understanding of entrepreneurship concepts through digital simulations while addressing time management challenges in practice-based learning. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Ungaran, Semarang Regency, using a Research and Development (R&D) method based on the 4-D model, which includes the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The participants included 35 students from one class, a subject teacher, and material and media experts. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires to analyze learning needs, evaluate media feasibility, and measure its effectiveness in improving students’ entrepreneurial motivation. The results indicate that the Digital Reseller Platform media is both feasible and effective for entrepreneurship learning. Expert validation demonstrated high feasibility, with scores of 82.5% from media experts and 85.7% from material experts. Furthermore, its implementation resulted in a statistically significant increase in students’ entrepreneurial motivation (F = 4.17, p < .05), as reflected in higher levels of interest, active participation, and confidence in engaging in entrepreneurial activities. In addition, the media supports more efficient time management without compromising students’ understanding of entrepreneurial concepts. In conclusion, the Digital Reseller Platform represents a valid and effective instructional medium for enhancing entrepreneurial motivation in senior high school settings.

Abstract

Tilapia cultivation in Lampung Province still faces many challenges, including the limited availability of tilapia seeds. This is due to the low availability of tilapia broodstock with superior specifications. This poses a challenge for the Lampung State Polytechnic to produce new strains of tilapia broodstock with distinctive advantages, thereby boosting seed production and consumption of tilapia in Lampung Province. One effort that can be made to create new strains of superior tilapia is by using selective cross-breeding between two superior tilapia species, namely the Srikandi tilapia and the Larasati tilapia. Both types of tilapia have their own unique superior characteristics, so it is hoped that this will be able to create new strains of tilapia that combine the advantages of both. The two superior Nile tilapia broodstock will be cross-bred with the composition in Treatment A, namely male Nile tilapia broodstock Srikandi with female Nile tilapia broodstock Larasati and Treatment B, namely female Nile tilapia broodstock Srikandi with male Nile tilapia broodstock Larasati with each treatment having two replications. This research will be conducted for 90 days of maintenance which includes the process of adaptation of broodstock to the environment, the spawning process and the process of maintaining larvae and seeds. The parameters tested include the number of eggs produced (fecundity), egg hatching rate, survival rate of larvae and fish seeds (survival rate), absolute weight and length gain. The observations during the spawning phase showed that treatment B was the best treatment, measured by the number of larvae produced, which was 1,600 larvae, with a survival rate (SR) of 63% during 28 days of maintenance. Data on the growth of tilapia larvae during 28 days of maintenance showed that the control treatment had superior weight growth performance compared to the other two treatments, namely 6 g with a length of 6.4 cm.

Abstract

Gentamicin is an antibiotic with a narrow therapeutic index that necessitates therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) to enhance efficacy and reduce toxicity. The goal of this study was to a simple, sensitive, and reliable LC-MS/MS method for measuring gentamicin in human plasma with a key novelty being the comprehensive assessment and documentation of measurement uncertainty integrated into the method validation process. The method used a Sciex QQQ 4500 LC-MS/MS system equipped with a C18 column, 5 x 20 mm, 4 µm Fusion-RP 80 Å, and operated in multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode, employing amikacin as the internal standard. Method validation was conducted following ICH M10 (2022) guidelines, encompassing parameters of selectivity, linearity, accuracy, precision, stability, dilution integrity, and carry-over. The calibration curve showed good linearity (r² = 0.990–0.996) over the range of 100–5000 ng/mL, with a lower limit of quantification (LLOQ) of 100 ng/mL. Across all concentration levels, accuracy (within ±15%; ±20% at LLOQ) and precision (≤15% CV; ≤20% at LLOQ) met the acceptance criteria. Short term stability experiments indicated that the samples maintained enough rigidity for various handling and storage method. We used EURACHEM and JCGM GUM guidelines to figure out the measurement uncertainty. The standard error of the slope (SEm) was the biggest factor. The total uncertainty was found to be 0.27 ng/mL, which means that the expanded uncertainty is ±0.55 ng/mL with 95% confidence. The validated method is strong and dependable, which makes it good for use in clinical settings for gentamicin TDM.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies employed by the madrasah principal in developing the research program at MAN 1 Kudus, focusing on three aspects: the implementation of the research program, the leadership strategies of the principal in enhancing the program, and the evaluation of its implementation. This research is a field study using a qualitative approach. The research subjects were selected through purposive sampling to obtain relevant informants. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and validated using source triangulation. The data were analyzed inductively to explore findings in depth. The study shows that the implementation of the research program at MAN 1 Kudus is carried out through the application of management functions, the organization of supervising teachers, and the execution of various research activities. The principal’s strategies in developing the research program include strengthening regulations, improving the capacity of research supervisors, collaborating with universities and research institutions, providing adequate facilities and infrastructure, and publishing achievements to enhance student motivation and the madrasah's image. Evaluation is conducted through regular coordination meetings, which are then used as the basis for program improvement and enhancing the quality of students' research outputs. This research offers a new contribution in the form of a strategic model for developing research programs based on madrasah leadership, integrating management functions, institutional collaboration, and a culture of publication.

Abstract

This article examines the role of key Islamic jurisprudential principles as constraints in the application of Islamic law, particularly in situations involving emergencies or conflicting obligations. It focuses on two foundational rules: al-rukhaṣ lā tunāṭ bi al-maʿāṣī (legal relief does not apply to immorality) and al-wājib lā yutraq illā li-wājib (an obligation may not be abandoned except for the sake of another obligation). Through a library-based research method, the study analyzes the meanings, sources, and practical relevance of these principles by discussing contemporary scenarios such as invoking rukhṣah during sinful travel, postponing prayer due to urgent medical duties, and balancing academic commitments with the obligation of Friday prayer. The findings highlight the significance of employing the principles of caution (iḥtiyāṭ) and prioritization (tartīb al-awlawiyyāt) in legal istinbāṭ (derivation). These limiting principles serve to protect the integrity of Sharia from the misuse of emergency concessions while promoting justice, public benefit (maṣlaḥah), and alignment between scriptural texts and real-life contexts. The integration of these rules is essential for formulating contextual Islamic legal responses that remain faithful to ethical and evidentiary foundations of Sharia.

Abstract

This training aims to process pure cow's milk into a milk drink with various flavors, namely chocolate, strawberry, and melon, through the pasteurization method. The accompanying method used in this community service is training or demonstration for students from 3rd to 5th grade at Tabita Puri Genteng Elementary School in Banyuwangi. From this traning activity, it was found that students had the skills to process cow’s milk from preparation to packaging, with sustainable impact of the P5 project implementation which is entrepeneurship and expected after knowing the process of processing until packaging, they can distribute the product on the market.

Abstract

Fenomena dekadensi moral yang terjadi akhir-akhir ini banyak disebabkan oleh generasi muda, sehingga pendidikan karakter perlu ditumbuhkan melalui lingkungan pendidikan formal untuk menyempurnakan pendidikan karakter di keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya sekolah dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik melalui habituasi nilai karakter dalam semboyan Per Ardua Ad Astra. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara terstruktur, observasi partisipatoris, dan studi dokumentasi. Data diuji keabsahannya menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dengan proses pengumpulan data yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa habituasi nilai dalam semboyan Per Ardua Ad Astra terinternalisasikan dalam berbagai program-program sekolah untuk menumbuhkan 5 (lima) karakter antara lain: karakter religius, disiplin, pantang menyerah, berbudaya lokal, dan sopan santun. Program-program sekolah ini kemudian dihabituasikan dalam kegiatan intrakurikuler, ekstrakurikuler, dan kokurikuler pada keseharian peserta didik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semboyan Per Ardua Ad Astra efektif sebagai pedoman membentuk karakter peserta didik melalui internalisasi nilai religiusitas, kedisiplinan, pantang menyerah, penghargaan terhadap budaya lokal, dan kesopanan, dengan pendekatan yang inklusif, edukatif, dan berbasis proses. Namun, tantangan dalam menciptakan inklusi keagamaan dan memperdalam apresiasi budaya lokal perlu diatasi melalui strategi yang lebih kontekstual dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi khususnya smartphone dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi adalah fenomena yang lumrah di era kurikulum merdeka. Kenyataanya masih banyak dinamika yang terjadi di lapangan disebabkan oleh berbagai kondisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis realitas pemanfaatan smartphone dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi baik pertimbangan dan implementasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengambilan data berupa observasi dan wawancara. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber serta analisis kualitatif deskriptif melalui tiga tahap yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pertimbangan penggunaan smartphone di sekolah sebab dapat mempermudah pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, meningkatkan kreativitas dan kolaborasi peserta didik, dan memberikan fleksibilitas dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran. Implementasi di lapangan, diketahui bahwa setiap guru memiliki pendekatan yang beragam, mulai dari model yang komprehensif, model yang berfokus pada kolaborasi dan produk, serta model yang masih dalam tahap pengembangan dan penyempurnaan. Dalam penelitian ini, realitas yang ada dikaitkan dengan konsep diferensiasi sosial, yang mengakui bahwa perbedaan individu dalam berbagai dimensi kehidupan masyarakat adalah suatu kenyataan yang perlu diakui dan dipelajari.

Abstract

Chronic illness is a long-term health disorder and cannot be cured without definitive treatment, requires lifelong support and care. In the elderly there is a decline in cells due to the aging process which can cause various diseases including chronic diseases. Chronic illness Not only causes pain, death, and physical disability of sufferers, but also a long treatment procedure can cause sufferers to experience psychological stress and feel hopeless. So that good family support is needed which can further improve good self-management in patients. Therefore, the authors are interested in conducting a literature study to determine the effect of self-management and family support on age and chronic illness. This type of writing is a literature review using Google Scholar and Garuda Portal. Then after the identification, screening and feasibility process, there are 4 national literature, 2 international literature and 1 text book that fits the inclusion criteria. Based on the results of the seventh literature, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence on self-management and family support on the handling of the elderly with chronic diseases. Both are interconnected, clients with chronic diseases can trust and use self-management well when they get support from a good family. Therefore elderly people with chronic diseases and families are expected to be able to apply this to be one of the actions in dealing with chronic diseases.
