Abstract

Mastery of learning materials is one of the main goals in education. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the active learning model snowball throwing type with the index card match type in the ability to understand the concept of learners in elementary school. This research was conducted on students in grade IV SDN Cikampek Barat II, Cikampek District, Karawang City. The number of participants in this study were 26 students in the experimental class 1 who applied the snowball throwing learning model and as many as 26 students in the experimental class 2 who used the index card match learning model. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with the matching pretest posttest control group design. The data of this study were collected using test instruments and assessment rubrics. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the index card match learning model is more effective in increasing students' understanding of the concept of existing home material and traditional Indonesian clothing compared to the snowball throwing learning model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya menjaga lingkungan dan memiliki sikap kepedulian terhadap lingkungan alam yang rusak serta makhluk hidup lain yang terancam kehidupannya akibat dari aktivitas manusia. Perilaku kepedulian peserta didik terhadap lingkungan di kelas IX-B tergolong dalam kategori rendah, hal tersebut dilihat dari permasalahan yang ditemukan yaitu banyaknya sampah disekitar kelas baik itu di dalam ruangan maupun di luar kelas. Oleh karena itu peserta didik perlu meningkatkan kecerdasan ekologis terutama pada aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan dan partisipasi peserta didik terhadap lingkungan. Pembuatan konten kreatif mengenai kearifan ekologis masyarakat kampung adat Ciptarasa merupakan salah satu upaya untuk membangun kecerdasan ekologis peserta didik. Kajian utama penelitian ini adalah identifikasi nilai-nilai kearifan ekologis masyarakat kampung adat Ciptarasa, hasil identifikasi dibuatkan konten berupa video yang di upload ke media sosial youtube sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Pabuaran kelas IX-B. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa masyarakat kampung adat Ciptarasa memiliki kearifan ekologis yang dapat dijadikan konten kreatif youtube sebagai media belajar IPS meliputi nilai pelestarian hutan, nilai pelestarian sungai, mitigasi bencana, dan pola konsumsi ramah lingkungan. Implementasi penggunaan konten kreatif youtube tentang kearifan ekologis masyarakat kampung adat Ciptarasa dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Pabuaran menunjukkan hasil yang bagus. Peserta didik memiliki rasa peduli terhadap lingkungan dan alam dan berempati terhadap mahluk hidup dan alam. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan supaya dijadikan rujukan bagi pengembangan pembelajaran IPS yang menggunakan konten kreatif youtube berbasis budaya diberbagai sekolah.

Abstract

This article presents the results of the first implementation of map literacy learning model in middle school classes - this is the preliminary test. The implementation of this learning model will gain optimal results when it is conducted by following all the component of the model such as the syntax, theoretical framework, social system, teachers' roles, and support system. After the model implementation has been completed, the results showed that there was significantly different in students' spatial thinking skills before and after the treatment. However, the implementation also revealed that the model has some technical issues and thus to be improved. In a social system revision, the teacher has to be flexibly provide scaffolding every time he/she sees that the students need it. Teacher's book is significantly important to help a teacher lead the learning process. After improvement of the model has been completed, then it is ready to be implemented in the main field testing stage. Abstract

Pariwisata saat ini dikembangkan dan diarahkan pada upaya dalam pelestarian lingkungan, sehingga hal tersebut bertujuan untuk memberikan dampak positif bagi ekonomi daerah maupun  mempertahankan atau menjaga kualitas lingkungan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengembangan destinasi wisata Alam Santosa sebagai Ekowisata di Kabupaten Bandung. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara serta  dokumentasi. Teknik Analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis SWOT.  Hasil dalam penelitian ini bahwa destinasi wisata Alam Santosa memiliki potensi yang dapat menjadikan daya tarik wisata yang berada di Kabupaten Bandung. Hasil dari analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa adanya kekuatan (Strength) pada destinasi tersebut memiliki 4 faktor kekuatan, adanya kelemahan (Weakness) yang terdiri dari 3 faktor kelemahan, adanya peluang (Opportunity) yang terdiri dari 3 faktor dan adanya ancaman (Threats) dalam destinasi wisata tersebut yang terdiri dari 2 faktor ancaman. Hasil dari analisis SWOT tersebut, dirumuskan alternatif strategi dalam pengembangan destinasi wisata Alam Santosa yang terdiri dari 4 alternatif Strategi. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan serta melestarikan alam di kawasan Alam Santosa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya konservasi elang jawa sebagai sarana wisata edukasi di Kamojang Garut Jawa Barat sebagai salah satu hewan endemik, spesies ini hewan yang menghadapi risiko kepunahan karna berkurangnya habitat serta adanya perburuan liar. Elang jawa satwa terancam punah dalam Buku Data Merah. Upaya alternatif dilakukan demi mencegah elang jawa berakhir tragis seperti burung-burung yang terlanjur punah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejarah program penyelamatan dan rehabilitasi elang jawa di pusat konservasi elang kamojang. Metode pengambilan data Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan survei dan didukung kajian literatur, menggunakan dua jenis data, yaitu data primer berdasarkan wawancara langsung dan data sekunder melalui petugas di Pusat Konservasi Elang Kamojang Garut Jawa Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan elang jawa merupakan mascot lambang NKRI, yaitu Burung Garuda, saat ini sedang berada diambang kepunahan. Rehabilitasi elang tidak semudah yang kita bayangkan, karena dalam proses rehabilitasi tidak semua elang tersebut dapat dilepas liarkan kembali. Sudah seharusnya kita menumbuhkan kesadaran dan pemahaman akan pentingnya menjaga pelestarian satwa Indonesia, salah satuya elang jawa. Pariwisata ekowisata berbasis edukasi di Pusat Konservasi Elang Jawa Kamojang Garut Jawabarat dapat di jadikan sebagai sarana pariwisata ekowisata berbasis edukasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menggali potensi-potensi destinasi wisata desa Girimekar sebagai ekowisata di Kabupaten Bandung. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara bersama beberapa masyarakat lokal desa girimekar dan melakukan observasi lapangan dengan tujuan mengetahui kondisi dari desa Girimekar. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis SWOT yang berguna untuk membantu dalam menganalisis potensi destinasi wisata desa Girimekar sebagai ekowisata di Kabupaten Bandung. Hasil atau temuan dari observasi lapangan menunjukan bahwa desa Girimekar memiliki potensi untuk menjadi destinasi wisata berkonsep ekowisata. Hasil yang didapatkan berdasarkan analisis SWOT menunjukan bahwa terdapat 4 faktor kekuatan (Strength), 4 faktor kelemahan (Weakness), 3 faktor peluang (Opportunity) dan 2 faktor ancaman (Threat) dalam menganalisis potensi di Girimekar. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak yang positif dan kontribusi dalam perkembangan ekowisata serta menciptakan pariwisata berkelanjutan dan dapat melestarikan lingkungan di desa Girimekar sehingga meningkatkan ekonomi di desa Girimekar.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran secara rinci mengenai pelaksanaan proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila dalam membentuk keterampilan sosial siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan melibatkan studi lapangan di salah satu SDN Penggerak di Kota Bandung. Subjek penelitian mencakup Kepala Sekolah, Guru dan Siswa kelas 5. Metode pengumpulan data melibatkan berbagai teknik, seperti wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan pencatatan lapangan. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila di Sekolah Dasar ini secara keseluruhan berhasil mengembangkan keterampilan sosial siswa. Terlihat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan komunikasi, kolaborasi, empati, interpersonal, dan pengelolaan konflik.

Abstract

Environmental conservation and disaster mitigation still emphasize science and technology, while the potential of the socio-cultural wealth within communities remains underutilized. This shows a substantial gap, as active community involvement, rooted in socio-cultural wealth, is essential for effective environmental conservation and disaster mitigation. To address the existing gap, this research aims to identify, analyze, and interpret the values of Sundanese Indigenous laws (Pikukuh) that can be utilized and relevant for these efforts. This study used a qualitative method with a case study design in Kampung Naga, Baduy, Kuta, and Cikondang. The results showed that Pikukuh embodied important values for environmental conservation efforts. These rules played a significant role in conserving forests, improving vegetation conditions, enhancing rainwater absorption, ensuring soil stability, preventing erosion, and maintaining the groundwater cycle. These principles are crucial for mitigating natural disasters like landslides, floods, droughts, and climate change. Pikukuh principles need to be incorporated more broadly and actively applied in policies and strategic initiatives to advance sustainable development, as this goes beyond romanticizing traditions and is essential for securing a sustainable future life

Abstract

The coastal zone consists of a diverse range of resources. This area's ecosystems are also quite complex and dynamic. Information about the coastal zone is necessary to provide knowledge to readers, which will be helpful for conservation efforts, sustainable planning and development, further research, and fostering coastal environmental literacy. This study aims to collect information about the resources present in the coastal zone and then integrate it into relevant learning materials such as geography. This research is a narrative review literature study. Secondary data was obtained from the Fisheries and Marine Affairs Office of West Sumatra Province, along with relevant scientific articles. Several related articles and government documents were collected, analyzed, and summarized in the body of this article. The information concerning appropriate geography learning materials was then analyzed to produce relevant content diagrams. The results of the literature review show that coastal zone resources include mangrove areas, coral reefs, seagrass beds, biodiversity, and marine tourism. Some geography learning materials for secondary school levels in Indonesia include marine and coastal materials, hydrodynamics, coastal and marine pollution, natural resources, biodiversity, ecosystems, flora and fauna, environmental and population geography, and tourism geography. The findings of this research can serve as a reference for researchers and practitioners to develop and integrate the potential of coastal areas into relevant learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a local potential-based learning model to enhance elementary school students' critical thinking skills. Local potential-based learning is expected to utilize the wisdom and resources available in the surrounding environment as relevant and engaging learning materials for students. This learning model is designed to strengthen student involvement in the learning process, foster curiosity, and develop essential analytical and problem-solving skills for critical thinking. The approach involves integrating local materials, such as history, culture, and local social issues, into teaching activities. This study uses a simplified development method divided into three stages: preliminary study, development stage, and model effectiveness testing stage. The development stage begins with needs analysis, design, trial, and model evaluation. The research findings indicate that during the model evaluation stage, the effectiveness test results in SDN Bunikasih 1 as Experiment Class 1 reached an average % N-gain value of 55.05%, and model evaluation in Experiment Class 2 SDN Sukawangi 2 showed an average % N-gain value of 55.09%. Thus, the application of the local potential-based learning model is quite effective in helping improve students' critical thinking skills. The conclusion of this study is expected to contribute significantly to the development of a more contextual curriculum, enhance students' critical thinking skills, and encourage them to better understand and appreciate the local potential in their surroundings.
