Abstract

In learning chemistry, especially regarding quantum numbers and electron configurations, learning difficulties are still encountered, resulting in low student learning outcomes. One of the factors contributing to this is the use of teaching materials that are less engaging and fail to facilitate students' understanding of concepts effectively. Digital-based student worksheets are an innovative alternative to learning because they can increase students' interaction, understanding of concepts, and critical thinking skills. This research aims to apply problem-solving-based digital student worksheets to improve students' critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. This research employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, utilizing a post-test-only control group design. The research sample consisted of 72 class X students at SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. The results showed that the use of digital student worksheets significantly increased students' critical thinking skills (average score of 86.96) and learning outcomes (average score of 85.3) compared to the control group (critical thinking score of 80.20 and learning outcomes of 80.33). Students demonstrated a positive response to the use of digital student worksheets, with an average questionnaire response value of 83.53. The conclusion of this study indicates that the use of digital student worksheets can enhance students' critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. The contribution of community service from this study is manifested in the provision of innovative teaching tools that teachers can adopt to improve collaborative learning and support the development of digital literacy in the school environment.

Abstract

Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) merupakan salah satu bentuk pupuk yang berasal dari tanaman atau kotoran hewan yang berguna untuk mendukung pertumbuhan tanaman. Pupuk tersebut diproduksi dengan teknik molase yang melibatkan mikroorganisme lokal (MOL), dengan memanfaatkan limbah buah jambu kristal, serta proses fermentasi menggunakan mikroba EM4. Tujuan kegiatan ini yaitu untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat Desa Labuapi tentang cara pembuatan pupuk orgaik cair dari limbah buah jambu kristal. Kegiatan ini menjelaskan mengenai program pembuatan POC dari limbah jambu kristal sebagai bahan dasar yang meliputi proses atau tahapan pembuatan, hasil, dan manfaat dari pembuatan POC. Ouput dari kegiatan ini, masyarakat akan memperoleh pemahaman baru mengenai pemanfaatan limbah buah jambu kristal sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan POC. Hal ini menjadi langkah positif dalam mendukung budidaya pertanian berkelanjutan, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pembuatan pupuk cair menggunakan bahan lokal, yaitu limbah jambu kristal yang tersedia di Agrowisata Labuapi.

Abstract

Masa kehamilan dan persalinan merupakan salah satu fase kehidupan dimana ibu banyak dihadapkan pada larangan dan anjuran berdasarkan adat istiadat ataupun budaya setempat, sehingga banyak didapatkan praktik perawatan tradisional pada ibu postpartum. Perawatan tradisional yang paling sering dilakukan yaitu penggunaan rempah-rempah, baik secara sistemik maupun topikal. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemanfaatan tumbuhan herbal selama masa postpartum. Penelitian ini jenis kualitiatif dan akan dilakukan di wilayah kota Lhokseumawe dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tekhnik wawancara mendalam dan Analisa data dilakukan melalui analisis konten. Responden penelitian dikumpulkan dengan tekhnik snowball sampling. Hasil penelitian diharapkan menjadi dasar kajian dalam penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai uji klinis jenis perawatan tradisional yang bermanfaat bagi meningkatkan maupun menjaga Kesehatan ibu postpartum

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of asatizah in shaping the character of students at Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Aimas, Sorong Regency. This study focuses on the influence of interaction and teaching methods of asatizah on the formation of students' character, which includes moral, spiritual, and social values. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that asatizah have a very important role in shaping the character of students through several aspects, namely personal exemplary behavior, teaching applicable Islamic values, and habituating positive behavior in everyday life. The conclusion of this study is that the role of asatizah at MBS Aimas is very significant in shaping the character of students who have high integrity, responsibility, and social awareness. Therefore, it is recommended that MBS continue to increase the involvement of asatizah in the process of character education for students, by prioritizing aspects of exemplary behavior and more holistic guidance.

Abstract

Pembelajaran akidah akhlak sebagai suatu proses pengembangan potensi kreatifitas siswa, bertujuan untuk mewujudkan manusia yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Allah subhanahu wata’ala, cerdas terampil, memiliki etos kerja yang tinggi berbudi pekerti luhur, mandiri dan bertanggung jawabterhadap dirinya, bangsa dan negara serta agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi pembelajaran akidah akhlak dalam pembentukan karakter religius siswa kelas XI di MA Muhammadiyah Aimas serta faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam proses tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru akidah akhlak, kepala sekolah, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran akidah akhlak diimplementasikan melalui kegiatan pembiasaan, keteladanan guru, serta penerapan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, dan hafalan. Pembentukan karakter religius tampak dalam perilaku siswa terhadap Allah, sesama manusia, dan lingkungan. Faktor pendukung berasal dari lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif dan keteladanan guru, sementara faktor penghambat meliputi kurangnya perhatian orang tua dan pengaruh lingkungan luar. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa implementasi pembelajaran akidah akhlak berperan signifikan dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar guru dan pihak sekolah terus meningkatkan strategi pembelajaran dan keterlibatan orang tua dalam mendukung perkembangan karakter siswa. Abstract

The limited availability of digital learning tools that effectively integrate green chemistry concepts while enhancing scientific literacy and numeracy presents a challenge in science education. Chemistry learning that integrates environmental issues, particularly the concept of green chemistry, requires contextual and innovative teaching materials to support the enhancement of students' scientific literacy and numeracy skills. This study aimed to develop a problem-based learning (PBL) online student worksheet on green chemistry to enhance students' scientific literacy and numeracy. The research employed a research and development (RD) approach using the ADDIE model and involved 24 randomly selected students from SMA Negeri 4 Lhokseumawe. Data were collected using expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and pre- and post-test instruments. The validation results indicated that the online worksheet was highly feasible (media: 96.88%, content: 96.39%, Aiken's V = 0.95). User responses were very positive (82.42%), and the questionnaire instruments demonstrated high validity (Aiken's V = 0.97). The N-Gain scores revealed moderate improvement in both scientific literacy (0.6061) and numeracy (0.6106), reflecting strengthened critical thinking, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills. This study contributes by providing a replicable model of an online worksheet that integrates environmental issues into chemistry learning, enriches digital learning resources, and supports the mastery of 21st-century competencies in science education. Therefore, the development of this PBL-based online student worksheet is considered feasible, practical, and effective in enhancing students' scientific literacy and numeracy skills.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini merupakan penelitian hukum dengan spesifikasi yang bersifat deskriptif analitis. Peran Pembimbing Kemasyarakatan Pada Bapas Kelas I Padang dalam pelaksanaan diversi pada penyelesaian tindak pidana penganiayaan dengan pelaku anak pada penyidikan bertugas melakukan asesmen terhadap anak yang menjadi pelaku penganiayaan dengan tujuan untuk memahami latar belakang sosial, kondisi psikologis, serta faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi perbuatan tersebut. Setelah diversi disepakati, pembimbing kemasyarakatan memiliki peran dalam merancang program pembinaan bagi anak agar mereka tidak mengulangi kesalahan yang sama di masa depan. Pembimbing kemasyarakatan juga melakukan pengawasan terhadap pelaksanaan kesepakatan diversi, seperti kewajiban anak untuk meminta maaf kepada korban, memberikan ganti rugi, atau mengikuti program rehabilitasi tertentu. Dari segi hukum, pelaksanaan diversi juga memerlukan kerja sama yang baik antara Pembimbing Kemasyarakatan dan aparat penegak hukum. Kendala yang ditemui Pembimbing Kemasyarakatan dalam pelaksanaan diversi pada penyelesaian tindak pidana penganiayaan dengan pelaku anak secara internal adalah 1) pembimbing kemasyarakatan tidak memiliki cukup waktu untuk melakukan pemantauan intensif terhadap perkembangan anak pasca-diversi, 2) kurangnya pemahaman aparat penegak hukum mengenai pentingnya diversi. 3) terbatasnya fasilitas rehabilitasi bagi anak yang menjalani diversi juga menjadi kendala serius dalam pelaksanaan program ini. Secara eksternal kendalanya 1) Faktor lingkungan sosial dan keluarga anak yang kurang mendukung proses rehabilitasi. 2) Minimnya fasilitas rehabilitasi juga menunjukkan lemahnya struktur pendukung negara

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of guided inquiry-based worksheet development workshops in enhancing teachers’ pedagogical competence and instructional innovation in chemistry education. The primary objective was to evaluate both cognitive and attitudinal changes among teachers following structured training. A mixed-methods design was employed, combining pre- and post-tests with in-depth interviews to provide a comprehensive assessment of training outcomes. Quantitative analysis using paired t-tests demonstrated a significant improvement in teachers’ knowledge and skills in designing guided inquiry-based worksheets. Qualitative findings supported these results, highlighting increased confidence, positive attitudes toward student-centered learning, and the recognition of inquiry as a powerful approach to foster active engagement. The integration of both data sources revealed that the workshops not only improved technical competence but also shaped reflective practices and motivation for pedagogical renewal. These findings underscore the potential of guided inquiry-based training to strengthen teacher professionalism and to contribute to the broader advancement of innovative practices in science education. Future research is encouraged to explore larger populations and long-term impacts to ensure sustainability of the training outcomes.

Abstract

Sustainable chemistry education requires innovative approaches that connect learning materials to real-life contexts while fostering environmental awareness. One promising strategy is the utilization of household waste as a source of learning materials. This study aimed to develop a chemistry learning model based on household waste and to analyze its effects on students’ conceptual understanding, creativity, and environmental responsibility. The research employed a pre-test and post-test design with the same group. Quantitative data were obtained through conceptual understanding tests, while qualitative data were collected through classroom observations and in-depth interviews. Data analysis involved calculating the N-gain to measure learning improvement and interpreting qualitative findings for deeper insights. The results revealed a significant increase in students’ conceptual understanding, with average N-gain scores categorized as medium to high. Qualitative findings further indicated that students were more motivated, perceived the learning as contextual and meaningful, and demonstrated enhanced critical thinking skills and creativity. Integrating household waste into chemistry lessons proved relevant to the demands of 21st-century scientific literacy and showed potential to support sustainable education by promoting environmentally responsible attitudes. These findings highlight the importance of locally contextualized strategies in strengthening academic achievement while simultaneously shaping students’ character, suggesting broader adoption in chemistry education practices.

Abstract

The demands of 21st-century education emphasize the importance of mastering higher-order thinking skills, particularly creative thinking, which is crucial for problem-solving, generating new ideas, and adapting to change. However, conventional approaches in chemistry instruction, especially in redox reaction topics have yet to effectively foster the development of these skills. This study aims to develop a high school chemistry learning package based on a collaborative learning model to cultivate students’ creative thinking skills in redox reaction material. A Design-Based Research approach was employed in five stages: needs analysis, instructional design, initial implementation, revision and validation, and limited trial. Data were collected through validation sheets, observations, creative thinking skill tests, and student response questionnaires. The results indicate that the developed learning package demonstrates high validity and practicality and significantly enhances students’ creative thinking skills across four indicators: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The implementation of the collaborative learning model fostered an interactive classroom environment, encouraged idea exchange, and deepened conceptual understanding. These findings suggest that the designed learning package is theoretically sound and effective for use in chemistry education. This study contributes to the innovation of instructional materials and recommends further exploration of digital media integration and long-term implementation.
