Abstract

Penelitian ini tentang karakteristik habitat penyu di Pantai Sinorang dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui jenis penyu dan mengetahui karakteristik habitat penyu. Penelitian dilaksanakan di sepanjang Pesisir Pantai Sinorang pada bulan Juli-Oktober 2020 dengan mengumpulkan data lokasi peneluran penyu, suhu dan kelembaban pasir, lebar pantai, kemiringan permukaan pantai, tutupan vegetasi pantai, lamun, dan karang. Metode yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi lapangan dan analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa identifikasi penyu ditemukan dua jenis, yaitu penyu sisik (Eretmochelys imbricate Linnaeus, 1766) dan penyu lekang (Lepidochelys olivacea Eschscholtz, 1829). Karakteristik habitat penyu berupa vegetasi pantai di dominasi tumbuhan bulu babi (Spinifex littoreus), stasiun yang sering didatangi penyu untuk mendarat dan bertelur, adalah pantai yang berkategori agak curam, landai, dan sangat landai, pantai yang lebar. Ditemukan di stasiun 3 dengan rataan lebar pantai 179 m, stasiun 0,1,2,dan 3 dengan masing-masing lebar pantai yang berukuran sedang dengan rataan lebar pantai 33.6 m, 18.1 m, 13.85 m; pasir pantai tersusun atas dominansi partikel berukuran sedang, kelembapan pasir rata-rata sepanjang lokasi berkisar 19.9%-27.2% dengan kelembaban rata-rata sebesar 24%, Suhu pasir pada kedalaman 35-40 cm pada bulan Juli 26-26.6ºC, Agustus 29.3-30.3ºC, September 30.8-32.0ºC, Oktober 33-36.5ºC. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa habitat penyu di Pantai Sinorang berada pada tingkat kelayakan untuk mendarat dan bertelur. Kawasan Sinorang Pantai dapat dilakukan pengelolaan penyu untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat melalui ekowisata penyu, dan serta tetap menjaga kelestarian penyu.This study examines the characteristics of turtle habitat in Sinorang Beach. The purpose of this study was to determine the type of turtle and to determine the characteristics of the turtle habitat in Sinorang Beach. The research was carried out along the Sinorang Beach in July-October 2020 by collecting data on turtle nesting locations, sand temperature and humidity, beach width, beach surface slope, beach vegetation cover, seagrass, and coral. The method used is field observation technique and data analysis is done by qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the identification of turtles found two types, namely the hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricate Linnaeus, 1766) and the olive ridley turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea Eschscholtz, 1829). The characteristics of the turtle habitat in the form of coastal vegetation are dominated by sea urchins (Spinifex littoreus) at stations frequented by turtles to land and lay eggs, the beach is categorized as rather steep, sloping, and very sloping, the largest beach width is at station 3 with an average of 179 m, the width of the medium-sized beach is at stations 0, 1, and 2 with an average beach width of 33.6 m, 18.1 m, 13.85 m, beach sand is composed of a dominance of medium-sized particles, the average sand humidity throughout the location is around 19.9% -27.2% with an average humidity of 24%, Sand temperature at a depth of 35-40 cm in July 26-26.6ºC, August 29.3-30.3ºC, September 30.8-32.0ºC, October 33-36.5ºC, and coral cover category at station 0 as much as 32.25% are still in the medium category. The results of this study can be concluded that the turtle habitat in Sinorang Beach is still at the level of feasibility for landing and laying eggs. In the Sinorang Beach area, turtle management can be carried out to improve the community's economy and maintain the sustainability of turtles.

Abstract

Background Problems: Scientific research exploring the comparative analysis of the physical, physiological, and anthropometric characteristics associated with the server and spiker positions in double-category sepak takraw remains relatively scarce. Research Objectives: This study aims to compare the physical, physiological, and anthropometric characteristics between players in the server and spiker positions in the double category of sepak takraw. Methods: The research method used is an observational study with a quantitative approach. This study consisted of 18 male sepak takraw athletes, with 9 athletes each playing as servers and 9 athletes playing as spikers. The statistical analyses were conducted utilizing the SPSS Version 22 application. Findings and Results: The results of this study showed that there were statistically significant differences in body height, aerobic capacity, and leg strength between server and speaker positions (p < 0.05). Meanwhile, there were no significant differences in the variables age, weight, BMI, fat percentage, speed, agility, and flexibility. Dynamic, attractive game requirements and manoeuvres in the air for players in the spiker position have the potential to contribute to superior VO2max values and increased leg muscle strength compared to players in the server position. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that athletes in the spiker position show superior anthropometric and physiological attributes compared to those in the server position. Different understandings of the different characteristics associated with each position in the sport of sepak takraw provide new insights and views for coaches and athletes themselves. In addition, it is hoped that this research will have implications for optimizing training programs that adapt to the demands of each position. Furthermore, these findings serve as a reference for talent search events that assist in the identification and development of athletes with optimal physiological profiles for their respective roles in double-category sepak takraw.

Abstract

Understanding the concept of mole in chemistry learning is an important aspect in supporting student learning success, especially in stoichiometry material which is abstract and complex. This research aims to explore the profile of students' conceptual understanding of stoichiometry based on the dominance of multiple intelligences. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with 36 students of class XI-F4 at SMAN 1 Darul Imarah. Data were collected through a multiple intelligence questionnaire, concept understanding test, and semi-structured interview. Data analysis consisted of data presentation and data verification, conducted by comparing students’ test results with interview responses to ensure consistency of understanding indicators. The results showed that students with linguistic, intrapersonal, and interpersonal intelligence understood all indicators of understanding, such as defining concepts, interpreting meanings, identifying concept features, and comparing relevant concepts. Students with logical-mathematical and musical intelligences were able to understand most indicators but had difficulty in differentiating concepts. Students with spatial, naturalistic, and existential intelligences excelled in concept identification and comparison but lacked in verbal definition. Students with kinesthetic intelligence mastered only basic indicators. This finding confirms that intelligence variation plays an important role in understanding chemical concepts. Teachers are expected to design learning that is adaptive to students’ intelligence profiles to improve learning quality.

Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi Province has great mining potential to support Indonesia's national mining. Especially in Bombana Regency, it has the potential for gold mining, but with mining activities, the mining area becomes nutrient-poor and toxic. Based on this research, we observed the levels of pH, mercury (Hg), Total Suspended Solid (TSS), Copper (Cu) that accumulated in the waters around the gold mining area. The results showed that the pH level in sector 1 was 9.5 and sector 2 was 9.72. The Hg level also shows -0.0021 mg/L and -0.0014 mg/L. On the other hand, the high TSS content for sector 1 was 930 mg/L due to the sampling point being very close to the gold mining sector, while sector 2 started to decline by 410 mg/L. Cu analysis showed the same value, namely -0.00032 mg/L, it was concluded that the gold quality in sectors 1 and 2 had the same grade.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terbatasnya kajian empiris mengenai penerapan pendekatan difraktif dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini, khususnya dalam konteks eksperimen sains untuk mengembangkan kreativitas, sementara penelitian sebelumnya lebih banyak berfokus pada pendekatan inkuiri, berbasis proyek, dan STEAM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pendekatan difraktif terhadap kreativitas anak usia dini dalam aktivitas eksperimen sains. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 55 anak usia 5–6 tahun yang terdiri dari 28 anak pada kelompok eksperimen dan 27 anak pada kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor kreativitas kelompok eksperimen meningkat dari 53 menjadi 78 dengan gain score 25, sedangkan kelompok kontrol meningkat dari 52 menjadi 60 dengan gain score 8, yang menunjukkan peningkatan lebih signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan difraktif efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia dini, khususnya pada aspek fluency, flexibility, originality, dan elaboration, melalui pembelajaran eksperimen sains yang mendorong eksplorasi, interaksi, dan konstruksi makna secara aktif, meskipun temuan ini masih terbatas pada konteks dan jumlah sampel tertentu. The Effectiveness Of The Diffractive Approach Towards Early Children's Creativity In Science Experimental Activities This study is motivated by the limited empirical research on the application of the diffractive approach in early childhood education, particularly in the context of science experiments to enhance creativity, while previous studies have predominantly focused on inquiry-based, project-based, and STEAM approaches. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the diffractive approach on early childhood creativity in science experiment activities. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 55 children aged 5–6 years, including 28 children in the experimental group and 27 children in the control group. The results showed that the average creativity score in the experimental group increased from 53 to 78 with a gain score of 25, while the control group increased from 52 to 60 with a gain score of 8, indicating a more significant improvement in the experimental group. Therefore, it can be concluded that the diffractive approach is effective in improving early childhood creativity, particularly in the aspects of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration, through science experiment-based learning that promotes exploration, interaction, and active meaning construction, although the findings are still limited to a specific context and sample size.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa SMK melalui integrasi sustainable accounting dan human capital management sebagai upaya mendukung kesiapan menghadapi Uji Kompetensi Keahlian (UKK) dan dunia kerja di era digital. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMK Marisi Medan dengan peserta sebanyak 40 siswa jurusan Akuntansi dan Keuangan Lembaga. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui pelatihan, pendampingan, simulasi praktik, diskusi interaktif, serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Materi pelatihan meliputi konsep sustainable accounting, penggunaan aplikasi akuntansi digital, penyusunan laporan keuangan berbasis komputer, serta penguatan kompetensi human capital management. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi peserta yang terlihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 58,67 menjadi 90,17 pada post-test dengan persentase peningkatan sebesar 53,77%. Peningkatan tertinggi terjadi pada aspek kesiapan menghadapi UKK. Selain itu, peserta juga menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi, kerja sama tim, dan kepercayaan diri dalam menyelesaikan studi kasus akuntansi berbasis digital. Dengan demikian, kegiatan PkM ini dinilai efektif dalam mendukung penguatan kompetensi teknis dan nonteknis siswa SMK agar lebih siap menghadapi kebutuhan dunia industri berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the obstacles and challenges in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in grade IV of SDN 6 Mekarjaya. The Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes student‑centered learning, project‑based learning, and the development of the Pancasila Student Profile. However, its implementation faces several barriers, including limited teacher understanding, inadequate learning facilities, and diverse student characteristics. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method with observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that teachers encounter difficulties in designing learning modules, conducting diagnostic assessments, and applying project‑based learning due to limited resources. Moreover, students’ varied abilities and parental involvement also influence the effectiveness of curriculum implementation. The study concludes that collaborative efforts between teachers, schools, and parents are essential to overcome these challenges. Recommendations include continuous teacher training, provision of adequate learning facilities, and strengthening school–parent partnerships to ensure successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.
